Feb 28, 2024Ufouria 2 is a fantastic pickup for anyone seeking something different in their side-scrolling action-platformers. It feels like a game rooted in the past with a modern coat of paint and modern quality-of-life improvements and in that light, it's a wonderful experience. Having a feltcraft world offers something no other game has and each of the different playable characters results in an experience that makes replaying stages seem more exciting than it otherwise would.

Mar 6, 2024There’s a lot to like about Ufouria: The Saga 2, and its ridiculously cute art style is only the tip of the iceberg. This is a clever platformer that rewards exploration, and wandering around the game’s intertwined world remains a joy, even when you’re revisiting the same areas multiple times. We dare you to try and find something cuter than this: it really is in a fluffy league of its own.

Feb 28, 2024Ufouria: The Saga 2 stands out against a backdrop of rehashed content by not limiting itself to a simple emulation of what was already established. By daring in form, aesthetics and content, the game stands out for its simplicity, charisma and, above all, for not using nostalgia as a crutch.

Feb 29, 2024Ufouria: The Saga 2 is a must-play for any 2D platformer fan whether you played the original or not; it's that good and hilarious to boot.

Mar 1, 2024Younger gamers might forgive an under four-hour main game and a non-existent difficulty curve, but unfortunately, the tasks necessary for a Platinum only shallowly extend the game's length. Even a Vending Machine purchase of a CRT television to make enemies more powerful didn't noticeably increase the gentle difficulty. Timing each Butt Bounce is fun, but boss encounters are overly simple, plus collecting Utsu-cans and four rocket ship parts feels like busy work.
