Feb 14, 2025Tiny Terry’s Turbo Trip is a casual adventure game about an insouciant boy trying to find his place in the world. The game flourishingly creates an interesting environment filled with colorful characters and engaging concepts all while having a droll sense of humor. In a roundabout way, the game’s shortcomings, while not excused, are long lost in Terry’s smoke trail as he floors his car accelerator to the next hilarious quest.

Feb 13, 2025Even though it's short, Tiny Terry's Turbo Trip manages to be remarkable with its clueless humor, compact and well-used open world and, mainly, for the construction of a universe endowed with lightness, interesting characters and a good dose of silliness so precious especially in these times when everything is taken too seriously.

Feb 13, 2025Terry’s console debut is well worth a look-in for anyone yet to be charmed by the tale of a town with no laws, a road with no end and a boy with limits. If I could focus on anything with half as much pluck and determination as Terry and his mission to space, I’d be unstoppable. It’s a shame that some pretty egregious performance issues exist in the PS5 version right now, but look past them and you’ll see one of the most absurd, bold, funny and endearing little adventures in recent memory.

Feb 24, 2025Tiny Terry's Turbo Trip is a hilariously heartfelt sandbox adventure that simplifies the genre's scope to pack a mightier punch. Everything is purposeful in the search for its collectathon gameplay and the world is a joy to explore, making it a tiny but terry-fic trip.

Apr 8, 2025Tiny Terry’s Turbo Trip is an interesting, funny and charismatic adventure, but it lacks in key points of exploration, and is also very short. It’s a great option for those who want something more to laugh and relax with instead of doing more intense searches.

Feb 13, 2025While there's nothing in the game we haven't seen before, it's the delivery that makes it novel. The writing is genuinely amusing, the story rather sweet, and the slapstick physics plenty of fun to engage with. Only some minor technical hiccups interrupt the otherwise smooth gameplay, and while finding the last remaining collectibles can be difficult (even aided by a special Junk-detecting hat), the game succeeds due to its brevity and playful tone.

Feb 13, 2025Ultimately, I enjoyed my time with Tiny Terry’s Turbo Trip. The combination of writing and premise make this a funny game to waste away an afternoon with. The way the game puts things together and then subverts expectations is nothing short of special. Unfortunately, gameplay itself feels more like a means to an end instead of an engaging experience in its own right.
