Mediocre story, uninteresting characters except for Joel, slow outdated gameplay, mo-cap acting in some of the cutscenes and dialogue lines are atrocious, overcooked facial animations make the characters look ugly and weird.. don’t believe the high scores. The game is seriously overrated.

The value of the game is very low compared to the money paid.
I recommend playing this game when it's half off or free.
Almost everything is the same as the previous game.
If you buy the game for the price now, I'm sure you will regret it like me.
If you subscribe to PS Plus, you can play THE LAST OF US REMASTERED.

Sep 6, 2022Rebuilt from the ground up but it is not really. Only graphics upgrade and character skin changes. No multiplayer, no prone,no dodge and 70$ for all of this which is just a mod pc players could have make for free. They also changed Jerry and the fireflies to make them look good

une honte pour un "remake" aussi feignant. la mocap n'a pas été refaite, les doublages n'ont pas été refait, les lignes de dialogue, l'histoire, etc... toutes ces choses n'ont pas été refaite, ce n'est donc pas un remake, mais un gros remaster. Et 80€ pour un remaster, c'est non. -

Apr 3, 2023The price isn't worth how little improvements were made over the original game. It took them half as much time to make this as it does for most companies to make a new game from the ground up. So I can't see why we should pay full price for a new coat of paint and some big fixes.

This isn't a AAA remake like Resident Evil 2 this is just a blatant cash grab with pay 2 win for buying the more expensive editions. Naughty Dog needs to learn some humility and dignity from developers like Capcom who give high quality next gen upgrades for free.

It’s a shame that this is the standard for today’s triple A. It’s the same game as many others but with fancy graphics and mediocre gameplay and engagement. It’s unfair and misleading for people who wants a challenge and gameplay mechanics that doesn’t feel as an excuse to stick together different cutscenes. Il n'y a eu que des modifications graphiques et technologiques sinon c'est une copie identique du remaster PS4. Même gameplay même IA mêmes gunfights pourris à la Uncharted mêmes cinématiques mêmes zones de jeu mêmes dialogues.
Si vous possédez le remaster PS4 ça n'apportera rien de plus. -

Oct 14, 2022The original The Last of Us will always be my favourite PlayStation game. The narrative is amazing, the relationship between Joel and Ellie is wholesome and it all culminates into a satisfying story that will bring tears to your eyes. However, I do not recommend the remake. Even though there are extensive graphical enhancements, 60FPS support, DualSense support and a variety of accessibility options, none of this justifies the admission price. And, above all, there was really no need for this remake, the original is perfect as it is and available on PS Plus. Skip it and wait for a fat discount if you are keen to try it.
