    Such a good game that improves on everything from the original. Felt like a new but familiar experience going through the upgraded areas.
    Obviously I’d be happy if they made a new game but I’ll take bringing one of my favourite games up to todays level of game design.

    Tlou is my favourite game and story. I really enjoyed this remake on 120hz tv. People are mad for price but at least this game is beautiful and i didnt experience any bugs or glitches. I think 95% games made today are worse with everything and more cashgrabing. If you dont have money just wait few months and you will have fair price for sure.     New graphics and appearance of the game: Infinity out of 10. This game is a great and unique remake. We play this masterpiece one more time with much better graphics and it's really great. And it was so nice to see Ellie happy once again, a girl who felt relaxed and happy next to Joel. And in my opinion, this game needed this renovation, with    Story: 10 out of 10.

    I feel like this game has to be rated without the price tag and yea it is really hefty one but i dont think the price tag affects you when you are already playing the game so thats why im not including it and if you cant afford or just dont want to pay that much money that's fine it your money. It does look Visually great some people like the look of the original one more and for me after playing this one I liked the new visuals just as much as I liked the original. Yes the game doesn't have the online mode which I wish was here and I'm not going to take it into consideration because it's not apart of the focus of this remake and feels unfair to change review because of that and it was only made to remake the story and I'm just going to say yes the story can standalone on its self and that's the only thing I'm reviewing with the gamplay and with visuals.     The original on steroids. It’s the ultimate experience, an emotional rollercoaster and terrifying yet beautiful piece of work. No other game comes close to this. Arguably the best looking game to date across any platform.

Tout d’abord, l’écriture n’a pas vieilli, n’a pas subit de coup de vieux, le jeu est intemporelle et contrairement à beaucoup d’autres remastered, lui, arrive encore à briller par son scénario, sa mise en scene et la force de ses personnages tous riche de charisme, du très rarement vu à ce niveau. (Évident qu’ils en fasse une série sur HBO)
    Cote graphisme c’est impressionnant, j’achète énormément de jeux PS5 et aucun n’est de cette qualité. On est sur un vrai remake car graphiquement, tout est retravaillé, chaque décor, chaque détail, lumière, caméra etc
    (Accrochez vous pour trouver plus joli) Également, le gameplay est beaucoup plus fluide, il suffit de rejouer à l’ancienne version pour s’en rendre compte, certes ce n’est pas celui du 2 (évident car le jeu ne dispose pas de la même architecture verticale) mais on s’en rapproche sur l’usage de certaines armes, la prises en main en courses de Briques, Bouteilles… la facilité à enchaîner les morts comme dans le 2 (je joue en difficile) L’arsenal a été enrichi, les mises à mort également… aucune faiblesse à signaler, et ce pour les simples raisons que le jeu est meilleur que tout autre sur le plan graphique, le gameplay est fluide et facile d’accès, efficace et propose de l’action autant que de l’infiltration. Tout est question de choix. Les animations, le sound design, l’angoisse, tout est là, aucun bug, je dis bien AUCUN bug de tout le jeu. Certains parle du prix mais le prix est le prix d’un jeu. À vous d’être malin et de le trouver aux alentours de 60€ et oui il les vaut. Bilan : LES PLUS + graphismes + gameplay dynamisé
    + scénario + personnages + mise en scène + histoires culte (15h environ)
    + de nombreux bonus (plus de 8h de reportages, Skin, Mode de jeu…)

    LES MOINS
    ~ RAS Il manque le multi joueur mais on en tient jamais rigueur un grand jeu comme God Of War ou Red dead Redemption. Le prix ne sera jamais un point faible, car le prix varie tandis que la qualité reste et surtout le prix est indépendant du développement et du résultat final du jeu. Un blu ray ne coûte pas moins chère qu’un DVD et ce même si on l’a déjà vu. Un jeu PS5 aujourd’hui c’est 79€ et c’est le bris de The last of us. Si le prix est jugé trop élevé ce n’est pas lié à The last of us mais au prix établi d’un jeu PS5. Malgré le Review Bombing (50000 mauvaises notes achetées pour détruire le jeu, des polémiques accusant d’être pro LGBT, l’interdiction du jeu dans de nombreux pays, les attaques racistes visant l’ecrivain et auteur du jeu Neil Druckman de religion juive) The last of us reste toujours Grand ! Jouez-y et vous comprendrez Autrement dit, régalez vous, si vous l’avez jamais fait vous allez vous prendre une claque, ensuite foncez sur le 2… et si vous l’avez déjà fait, comme moi (sur PS4 pro) alors foncez parce que la claque est vraiment forte. Je l’ai terminé une fois et j’entame le speed run et l’objectif 100% artefact. Bon jeu à tous.    … Expand

In conclusion if you have never played this game and this is your first purchase of the franchise, you will be happy to pay the $70 retail price. If you played/owned the previous two Last of Us games you may be upset to pay the full price but I believe the price is worth it for the best version of the game. Hate on it if you want but there are a lot of things to complain about in this world and I just believe in giving a fair review for something you can tell the staff took a lot of time and effort making.     I cleared part 1. It took some time to clear it because I was looking around the map. The visual and sound of Part 1 are quite good. In the beginning, Tess, Ellie, Joel, the three of them went out to the outer wall of the quarantine zone. I think the visuals and sounds that describe the rainy situation were especially overwhelming.

    TLOU Part 1 is an all-time masterpiece with a well-deserved graphics update. The game looks stunning.
    I agree that the price might be high, especially for the owners of previous game versions. But the enjoyment of playing my favorite game with such fantastic graphics justify the price for me.
    I just envy people who plays TLOU 1 for the first time with this new version.

    Personally, I don't care how much it costs. The game looks luxurious and plays almost the same as the second part. Those people who write that there are no gameplay improvements, they probably wanted Joel to have blasters and fly on a rope like a tarzan. This is a remake of the remaster that I wanted to play when played the second part.

    While the price for this remake is high there is no way that this game is objectively a zero like many other people are rating it. Everything has been completely redone while still remaining true to the original experience. However, by far the largest change is the adjustments to AI. Playing through on hard difficulty, the game is much more difficult due to the AI improvements.     Bravo Naughty Dog! You've done it again with your incredible talent and dedication to deliver on one of the best game iterations I've seen yet. And yes, I know many people will dislike the price point for this cult classic being remade, but there is no denying the price had a reason to be $70. Everything from the model work, textures, facial expression, and accessibility has been improved considerably across the board bringing TLOU Part 1 to new modern game standards flawlessly. I deeply respect the passion and effort that went into this and if you haven't experienced Joel and Ellie's journey yet then this remake is the place to start.

    In scenes like when Joe, Ellie, and Tess are discussing among each other you can see the emotion and feelings of the characters from when they speak verbally. Everything from their nostrils flaring to spit being projected when Joel is annoyed can be seen with great detail. It amazes me how the developers have went to this length to bring the The Last of Us back to life with small details like this.

    Take on the negativity surrounding the remake:

    My opinion on the negative votes is that they are inconsiderate of everything else this remake has to offer and a majority of them cite the pricing for the atrociously low score given.     I've completed The Last of Us about 30 times, on both PS3 and PS4. I solely play on "Survivor", which is what I did for my 1st playthrough of the new game.

    After completing The Lasf of Us : Part 1, I can confirm that it's one of the best games ever made. The visuals are beyond what I thought possible on a home console; all the facial expressions add so much to the emotional depth of    I've completed The Last of Us about 30 times, on both PS3 and PS4. The visuals are beyond what I thought possible on a home console; all the facial expressions add so much to the emotional depth of the characters that it makes all of it more believable. The colorations chosen in certain movie scenes are masterful, especially in the "Left Behind" scenario.
    I suggest doing "Left Behind" as soon as you reach the winter chapter, so you'll do the game in chronological order (except for the flashbacks with Riley, of course).

    The controls are also better and the new AI changes encounters in a way that forced me to play differently. I was used to clear rooms the same way each time; I'm glad I can't do that anymore. It's also noticeably harder now. The lighting is changed throughout the game, adding to the atmosphere in the best way. There were more ammo drops too, but not at the very last parts of the game (in the hospital). Conserve ammo for that sequence, or you'll regret it.

    As of now, I'm bingeing the series and am eager to restart Part 1, because it's just awesome! It costs over 100$ with taxes, here in Canada. It's worth every penny.

    The Last of Us Part 1 and Part 2 are my favorites games ever, as of now. Brilliant. Made by adults for adults. It tops all forms of entertainment for me (TV, movies, series, games).    … Expand

    Los gráficos han mejorado muchísimo, no se compara en nada a la remasterizacion del 2014, en cuento a gameplay, conserva mucho del original, pero se siente más fluido el combate. Me gusto muchísimo este remake

    As much as we love the skeleton, the way it’s been built upon here feels like a missed opportunity. The chance to incorporate Part II’s stellar gameplay evolutions into the original heart-wrenching story was there; had Naughty Dog taken it, it could have been a game-changer. Instead, this feels like an obligatory reshoot. Yes, it’s visually stunning (one of PS5’s best), and yes, things have been changed. But the end result? Too familiar. Neat extras are here, like a speedrun mode, behind the scenes videos, and commentary tracks – but we’d hoped for something bolder. [Issue#19, p.74]

    The original The Last of Us will always be my favourite PlayStation game. The narrative is amazing, the relationship between Joel and Ellie is wholesome and it all culminates into a satisfying story that will bring tears to your eyes. However, I do not recommend the remake. Even though there are extensive graphical enhancements, 60FPS support, DualSense support and a variety of accessibility options, none of this justifies the admission price. And, above all, there was really no need for this remake, the original is perfect as it is and available on PS Plus. Skip it and wait for a fat discount if you are keen to try it.
