    Amazing game. So much bigger with a lot more to do than the first. Performance mode is a bit choppy but quality mode works so well, I don't even see a need for it.

    Compelling story and well-written characters, particularly Cal and the main cast. Visceral, responsive combat with a wide number of Force Powers and abilities to rely on. New enemies are challenging and fun to fight. The environments are incredible to explore and littered with enjoyable content. Presentation, from the visual design and music, is simply stellar.
    Bad- Performance    Good-
    Compelling story and well-written characters, particularly Cal and the main cast. Visceral, responsive combat with a wide number of Force Powers and abilities to rely on. New enemies are challenging and fun to fight. The environments are incredible to explore and littered with enjoyable content. Presentation, from the visual design and music, is simply stellar.

    Bad-
    Performance sees frequent frame rate drops, especially in specific locations and scenarios. Random screen-tearing.

    Thoughts-
    Even with this asterisk – and I can’t stress enough how significant it is – Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a must-play experience for fans of the first game. It doesn’t rewrite the rules so much as massively build upon, improve and expand on the formula in numerous ways. It offers a human story about home, family and moving on while presenting a likeable cast and memorable locations.

    Where the series goes from here is anyone’s guess. I’m not just excited for what’s next, but keen to return and immerse myself in Jedi: Survivor’s worlds even further.    … Expand

    Good story and even better combat. Game looks great and runs well (other than a few occasional frame drops). Lots of customization and it’s rewarding to explore. Really enjoyed this game and you can tell a lot of love went into it.

    I am proud of EA that they care about us singleplayer gamers. Give them a little time and they will fix the game. A game with technical problems is not a bad game, it just needs work.

    Improvement on everything from the previous game, which leaves me excited for the third game in the trilogy.

    Absolutely fantastic. I went in with such low expectations because I've been suffering from Star Wars fatigue since Disney have milked the franchise dry. The characters, exploration, gameplay and graphics are all fantastic here. I was hooked in every cutscene and really cared about the outcome. As someone who liked but didn't love Fallen Order, I was pleasantly surprised here.

    I also really appreciated the difficulty. I'm not sure why but I've never been particularly great at melee games. I played it on normal difficulty and with maybe 1 or 2 exceptions I found it to be a completely fair challenge. Not too easy and not too hard. I personally found Fallen Order a little too hard on normal.

    I personally think that the issues regarding the PS5 performance are overblown. The performance overall is a tad disappointing but the lag never broke the immersion for me. In a few months, the game should be better to play but honestly, the characters, story and gameplay should easily overshadow this. Not great, but overall not a game-breaking problem for me.    … Expand

    Great game on PS5 love all of it, story, combat and the puzzles. Would have gave it a 9 but due to only a few small bugs I encountered and some of the bosses glitchy hit boxes it gets an 8

    I am a Star Wars fan which helps me enjoy this game even more, but it really is one of the most fun games i have played in a long time. It reminded me of playing GOW 2018 for the first time. I’m giving it a 9 because there were performance issues. I often had screen tearing and frame rate drops. But the story, gameplay, characters etc are fantastic. In a few months this game will have mostI am a Star Wars fan which helps me enjoy this game even more, but it really is one of the most fun games i have played in a long time. It reminded me of playing GOW 2018 for the first time. I’m giving it a 9 because there were performance issues. I often had screen tearing and frame rate drops.     Amazing game, with good mechanics, way better than part 1, the graphics and gameplay along with the story a very good and on point.

    This is the best Star Wars game . It runs very well on ps5 I had 2 crashes in 20 hours no other bugs . This game is at the level of jedy academy

    Loved the game! Great and well acted story, great action sequences, great music, and graphics. Respawn basically improved on everything from Jedi Fallen Order and managed to make it my favourite Star Wars game I have played to date.

    Playing in Quality Mode and at release of the game end of April, I didn't encounter any major bugs and only few glitches. So, I was very happy with the    Loved the game! If I wouldn`t have waited for this, I wouldn`t have played it in this condition, but I could not wait, so I started it and I am in the game nearly 30hrs now. By the way, without the “dark” side points it would have been a 10 rating, so subject to change here if it isWell, first of all, I am a huge Fan of Star Wars, I am a huge Fan of Fallen Order, and I am a huge Fan of Jedi Survivor!     Let`s go to the good points first!
    Cal is a real Jedi now! I like that I do not have to upgrade him to usual stuff first, he is competitive from the beginning
    The story idea is great again
    The characters are great again
    The sound is awesome! Blew me off!
    The open world idea, somehow cool, not the biggest fan of it, but ok.

    Let`s go to the dark side now

    Once you start the game for the first time you see that HDR is broken- I do not start any workaround on my PS5 settings for a full price game, how can a Q&A department not see this before release?! I do not get it, seriously!
    So I chose SDR mode, as I wanted to play and Performance mode….geez the framerate dropped on some points badly!!

    This cannot be when you see what a Burning Shores is doing with the PS5 on stable 60 FPS and more even with this huge end boss….maybe EA gives Guerilla a call and ask for help.

    So all in all this game is a 10 for me, but not in this condition as it is right now, especially when you have Burning Shores as a comparism.

    Update: Yesterday the PS5 Update was released, game is now in a condition how I expected it! Great game, great story
    The only minus point is the open world, not a big fan of it in the Star Wars universe, but well also not that bad, yelling at high level it is.

    Actually the best scene happens when you finish the bounty hunter quest! That was unexpected and pretty cool!    … Expand

I don't want games as a service I want complete experiences just like this. Game looks amazing and the exploring us funner then horizon(not to mention I don't have to sit through a political lesbian saga girl bossingthe difficulty is bad but you can change it.     Visually, this game is amazing! I’m playing on PS5 in quality mode and it looks and plays amazingly well. I haven’t experienced any bugs so far. I also don’t have a problem with the HDR like a lot of people have mentioned so it sounds like it’s hit or miss. The combat feels great. It seems like a major overhaul compared to the first game.     A solid step forward for the franchise. Anyone who enjoyed the first game will enjoy this. The story does feel rushed at the back third but is padded out with great set pieces that it was still enjoyable. Cosmetics are a center piece of this game and it impresses on that note. An evolution of the first game on every aspect.

    Some performance issues aside, it was a really great game. Nice story, characters, locations, combat and gameplay with exploring all the worlds. It improved on everything from Jedi Fallen Order. Took me about 34 hrs to finish.

O combate é o ponto mais forte do jogo, muito bem projeto e o level design continua incrível e foi aprimorado em relação ao primeiro. Possui problemas na otimização, serrilhados eBom jogo, tem alguns problemas na narrativa, algumas inconsistências, mas nada que estrague a experiência, continua o trabalho do Fallen Order em ser uma das melhores histórias de Star Wars dos últimos anos.     With "Star Wars Jedi: Survivor" you get a good successor for your console and PC. Thanks to the new skills and fighting styles, the duels with the enemies are even more fun, and the new actions for the parkour system are well done. The quick travel function between the meditation points also makes sense and makes playing much easier.     I like This Game.The game is very fun. I mostly appreciate that they started you out with the abilities you had to work through the previous game to get. The combat is improved from last game and I appreciated the new addition of lightsaber forms.

    Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a much bigger game than before, with plenty of new moves, collectibles and characters to discover. The size of its open-world maps means it also lacks some of the variety of its predecessor, but there is so much to see and do that you'll likely not care one jot. Perhaps the most impressive aspect is how well fleshed-out the adventure is - better even than many of the TV series and films on which it is based. This is a blockbuster in the truest sense.
