Aug 11, 2023Very poorly optimized, all kinds of bugs, very mediocre plot, very, very unrecommended.

May 3, 2023I don’t understand what’s been happening with developers lately, even in quality mode - low resolution, and in performance mode it’s just a nightmare, and even with fps drop, as if I’m back in the days of Xbox one, I’m already ready to buy pro versions of consoles, because I feel like it will only get worse.

Jul 9, 2023The game itself is amazing, I loved it. But performance on PS5 is horrible sometimes, and AMD's upscaler produces annoying artifacts (ghosting).

May 21, 2023The game is great. But there were too many bugs at releasing time. I had to redownload the whole game with 100+GB data due to bugging out. And the refreshing rates are not satisfying. Technical problems can not be ignored.

May 26, 2023Great story and world design.
Big plus that you keep the powers from the first game and not start from scratch.
Holomap got the much needed upgrade, still not ideal but way better.
BUT the technical bugs, mostly framedrops, really hurted this game.
could have been an amazing game but the great game stays in the shadow due to its technical bugs.
shame. -

Jul 22, 2023A pretty good game overall, better than the first one. BUT: the performance issues are incredible strong. that ruins the experience a lot.

Story: 8.5
Gameplay: 6.5
Gameplay Mechanics: 8
The story was exciting and kept me in the game. The gameplay could've been better; next-gen-only games should not have performance issues. The mechanics were good, like the unique different takes on the gameplay and characters—definitely some character development. -

May 21, 2023It's a fun game until you have to perform anything more complex than running. Controls are buggy, movement during jumping is a sh*tshow and I bet you will be dying more during these kind of stuff than in the fights. Speaking of which...the most difficult opponents here are the controls. What a shame!

Jun 11, 2023Game is pretty wack IMO. Performance issues, short story, and a boring end boss fight. This is a $40 game that most paid $70 for. I keep hearing "they'll fix the bugs." Got the game 3 weeks after release and already finished that game. Its a lil late. Created a metacritic acct solely to complain about this game.

Jun 23, 2023Huge improvement over the first game. Wish there were more planets to explore, but the combat is fun and story is alright.
You can always count on Star Wars fans to be the absolute worst on the internet, hence all the review bombs. -
Jul 9, 2023In my opinion the game has a great potential, completely destroyed by the poor performance, low resolution quality. Hopefully big publishers stop delivering not polished games.
-
Jul 27, 2023Fails to live up to the first one with a obvious villain from the start and no dramatic or interesting reveals unfortunately.

PLAYSep 17, 2023Sometimes uneven, often wondrous, Survivor is bombastic and joyous, though it feels like a middle child in search of a trilogy ending. May the Force be with it. [Issue#28, p.72]

Aug 9, 2023Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the finest Star Wars game ever.
-
Jun 23, 2023Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a much bigger game than before, with plenty of new moves, collectibles and characters to discover. The size of its open-world maps means it also lacks some of the variety of its predecessor, but there is so much to see and do that you'll likely not care one jot. Perhaps the most impressive aspect is how well fleshed-out the adventure is - better even than many of the TV series and films on which it is based. This is a blockbuster in the truest sense.
