Apesar de observar várias críticas e comentários negativos sobre o jogo, tive uma percepção positiva e muito bem vinda das decisões artísticas e criativas do título. Design incrível das criaturas mutantes e vilões, que usa como referência mitos e lendas, para criar um atmosfera sombria e inteligente, sem precisar apelar para infecçõesResident Evil Village é um dos melhores jogos da série. O desafio de um desenvolvedor é lançar algo novo em um universo de mais de 20 anos, e ao meu ver, as escolhas feitas foram precisas. Jogo Resident Evil desde seus primórdios, e admito que a série cometeu erros ao longo do tempo, tentando encontrar o seu tom com o mercado de games mudando o tempo todo. E acredito que o equilíbrio entre seus sucessos foi bem executado com Village. Gráficos incríveis, apesar de ainda não utilizarem do potencial da nova geração, resolvem bem a atmosfera do jogo, sombria e misteriosa.     Resident Evil Village é sinônimo de trabalho muito bem feito e com muita competência da equipe responsável. Gráficos: Posso dizer que a RE Engine evoluiu bastante nesse game. Ponto mais forte do game nos gráficos e modelagem na minha opinião é o Castelo Dimitrescu onde cada centímetro foi feito com muito detalhes ! Obs. Vegetação ainda é um ponto fraco na engine.     Jogabilidade: A Capcom conseguiu trazer a nostalgia do nosso saudoso RE4 com alguns elementos clássicos como a maleta. Basicamente a jogabilidade é a fusão do RE7 com RE4. Gostei bastante. História: Dessa vez a Capcom conseguiu fazer um Resident Evil que não é apenas um jogo de Tiro a ponto de parecer um “Call of Duty de Armas Biológicas” mas trouxe uma história muito misteriosa e macabra podemos assim dizer. (Me lembrou Sillent Hill em alguns momentos) Gostei demais ! Espero que a Capcom continue evoluindo a qualidade da Saga e não faça downgrades como o RE3 Remake. Acho que o Village foi a prova que eles tem capacidade de fazer jogos muitos competentes para concorrer o GOTY. Parabéns Capcom.    … Expand

    The game was beautifully made. I truly don't like the 1st person gaming but I must say that when it comes to Resident evil I'm down to playing it in 1st person although I would prefer the 3rd person . Resident evil Village is very interesting. The story is very good and and so is the gameplay. I must say I'm very pleased and satisfied with this game. Many people complaining about changesThe game was beautifully made. I truly don't like the 1st person gaming but I must say that when it comes to Resident evil I'm down to playing it in 1st person although I would prefer the 3rd person .     Capcom constantly feel the need to up the action and as such this game feels neutered compared to RE7. Not scary at all and no tension which are a real shame. Very similar to RE4 and despite some interesting new characters overall the game is disappointing.

    Bravo! Capcom hits its stride with RE Village. With both 7 and 8, Capcom has absolutely managed to capture the feeling of the older, classic games. This has horror and action elements, and it is practically a love letter to RE4, one of the greatest entries in the series. After a disastrous game with RE6, Capcom has completely righted the ship with 7,8 and the two remakes. Being a fan ofBravo! Capcom hits its stride with RE Village. With both 7 and 8, Capcom has absolutely managed to capture the feeling of the older, classic games. This has horror and action elements, and it is practically a love letter to RE4, one of the greatest entries in the series. After a disastrous game with RE6, Capcom has completely righted the ship with 7,8 and the two remakes. Being a fan of the series since day 1; I couldn’t be happier.

    Resident Evil Village is excellent during the beginning and middle but then becomes mediocre towards the end. The concept of the village and fleeing to survive was thrilling and I enjoyed the castle chapter however the game lost its spark from the factory onwards. It was a great idea to work in crafting, but it didn’t feel satisfying. Overall a good game.

    First of all, I just started playing, so pardon me for the early first impression review. The intro is amazing, the graphics are top notch and the gameplay looks great. Best title in the Series and one of the best games I have seen so far.

    Resident Evil Village is one of the best Resident Evil Games I've ever played. Being a Die Hard Resident Evil fan and playing all of the Mainline and Spinoff Resident Evil games, I was hoping that Resident Evil Village will meet my expectations to be the greatest Resident Evil game, and it exceeded my expectations and became one of my all time favorite game next to the Iconic Resident EvilResident Evil Village is one of the best Resident Evil Games I've ever played. Being a Die Hard Resident Evil fan and playing all of the Mainline and Spinoff Resident Evil games, I was hoping that Resident Evil Village will meet my expectations to be the greatest Resident Evil game, and it exceeded my expectations and became one of my all time favorite game next to the Iconic Resident Evil 2 Remake. Exceptional Gameplay and Combat, Mommy Milkers, Insane Graphics, Fantastic Story, Iconic boss fights, a wide selection of weapons, Implementing all of the mechanics from Resident Evil 4, Memorable Characters, Top Notch Environments and Maps and a memorable ending that will last for a lifetime. Overall, Resident Evil Village is an Absolute Masterpiece. If you haven't played this game yet, I highly recommend you to Buy and Play this masterpiece right now.     It’s an amazing experience but it did not hold to its origins and depth. after I finish it I felt it was just a normal game and not completely RE game like RE7. My biggest problem with Village is the challenges with the bosses and foes , I only die twice throughout the whole game and I played it in normal.     REV will have you on the edge of your seat without a doubt. This game has some of the most thrilling and unforgettable villains of all time. The gameplay itself isn't perfect, but the creepiness of each level makes it worth your while. A true blockbuster horror video game.

One of the best Re ever released, Ethan is much more charismatic and with personality here, the places like the castle, dollhouse, village, factory etc ... are all very beautiful and with minimal dethales, a much greater variation of enemies that the predecessor game and with interesting villains but that could have been better explored, I think the game has sinned over time and could be bigger to further explore the characters.… Expand

    It is a very solid 9/10 for me.
    Capcom did a very good job with the new characters. Come on, who doesn't love Lady D, Duke or the sadistic Heisenberg?

    The only reason I don't give a 10 is that I think they can do even better and hopefully RE 4 Remake can achieve that! Can't wait!

Fighting in all the different sections of the map helped make sure I was never bored and the game got me legitimately scared quite a few times.     Location and world: 10/10
    A Romanian village is your main hub that connects all the areas of the semi open world and it really shines. As a person that lives in the Balkans, it really looks not only beautiful, but also veeery truthful to the location it's set in. Now, there are many locations spreading outwards from the villages, such as the Castle and the Factory, each one with its own antagonists and with a very different tone overall. This, along with the loads of enemy types (compared to the RE7's much less enemies) makes the game much more interesting to play. I've heard that many people would probably buy it just for Lady Alcina Dimitrescu which only appears in a fraction of the whole game. Admittedly, when I first heard I was kinda disappointed, but, trust me, you will not get bored and you will see much more! ----------
    Gameplay: 9/10
    Gameplay wise, RE8 uses a first person camera which I prefer to the third person view of RE2 just because it definitely increases the immersion. It is more action packed at some points, with guns and ammo, requiring nice utilisation and more horror packed with less guns and more scares at some other points. -----------
    Story: 9/10
    The story is interesting once again with Ethan being the protagonist. Nothing extraordinary, yet likeable enough for you to get into the game and immerse yourself. I am not going to get into it, not to spoil that much for you, but I will tell you, it has its nice plot points and set of characters. It's simple like that of RE7, compared to RE6 which I think it was a bit crowded and too much was happening. The main story lasts 9-13 hours depending on your gameplay type, which is just a bit more than that of RE7, but it's replayability is even better, thanks to the many unlockables and the classic Mercenaries mode which is fun and action-packed. I could see myself playing 40+ hours before starting to feel bored of the game, which is very nice. ----------
    Graphics: 10+/10
    I could easily give it more than 10 points if I could, just because it looks absolutely stunning. Definitely one of the best looking games I've ever played! You can clearly see the care the developers have put into making it as photorealistic as possible, even on old-gen consoles, probably thanks to the best use of RE Engine to date. You can see simple details other games don't even bother have, like tile textures etc. I am really impressed by Capcom on this achievement! ----------
    My verdict: 9.6/10---->10/10
    Did you like RE7? You will probably like most of this one too. Did you like RE4? You will probably love this too. Are you a Resident Evil fan? This is a must have! This game is a very nice blend of Action and Survival Horror, which, in my opinion, even with its minor pacing issues is still a nice addition to your collection, especially with the Next Gen consoles having very few titles.

I really enjoyed the gameplay, but I lacked emotional connection to the main character Ethan due to the first person camera angle and the unpolished story. It's a great game, just not a good resident evil game. The story had so much potential and Capcom took the lazy way out with most of it. I feel like Ozwald Spencer and the Umbrella connection could have been written better. Like why wasn't Lady D. some sort of "Perfect Tyrant" creation/inspiration? Something more substantive that linked back to the original games we all know and love. After playing this game I am very disappointed in the direction of Resident Evil, especially after receiving a great RE entry like Resident Evil 2 Remake.… Expand

After R3make there was speculation that the franchise was stepping back in the direction of RE6- have no doubt, with this game, RE is back and better than ever. The story telling is great, I find it less "trashy" than the older ones (like u won't see Chris punching a giant rock) and all that happens to Ethan is explained.     The levels are very detailed, be it the houses in the village filled with half cooked food or the furniture in the castle or the claustrophobic Beneviento's house. The amount of variation that can be observed, from the castle to the creepy doll house to the factory , makes this game a joy to play for someone who loves detailed level designs/level designs that pack a lot of creativity and variety.

    Characters: Character creation is where this game gets a big plus. The characters don't feel cheap and the characters are also very detailed in terms of textures + portraying the emotions.

    Gameplay: Gameplay is fun. It's a game that takes around 10-12 hours and is ideal for folks like me who don't have a lot of time to play video games anymore. Gameplay has the usual resident evil mechanics like crafting, ammos etc One thing I loved is the ammo isn't as scarce as resident evil 7 which made this game a tad bit easier than the previous game.

    Gameplay goes from RE7 style gameplay to something a action intensive gameplay and Capcom transitioned the gameplay from one style to another with fluidity.

    Audio: One has to use headphones to get the best out of this game's audio. This game has amazing 3d audio which really helps to adds an extra layer of immersion in the game. It helps in the boss fights + you can easily track the enemies based on the 3d sound.

    Over all, Capcom has perfected of what people expect from a AAA game in RE8. The detailed level design, characters that pack a lot of depth and emotion, great 3d audio, the ability to change the difficulty(yes, this is a big deal now-a-days), save feature so you need not be glued to one specific game, amazing visuals, a good storyline, the final hour of amazing action packed gameplay, hitting 4k 60fps with ray tracing, all combined together makes this game a perfect 10 on 10. RE8 sets an example of what one should expect from a AAA game.    … Expand

Японцы молодцы!! В каждой игре есть конечно свои недостатки , но в этой игре я получил хорошие эмоции и главное - мне было интересно в нее играть.Отличная игра !! Интересный сюжет.     Loved the game! It was very inventive, fun, scary and interesting, the story line is amazing as well. However it would've been great to have a choice whether you want to collaborate with Heisenberg or not. There also could've been more things to interact with.

    A mixture of RE4 and RE7, this game stylistically is amazing and has tropes almost like a macarbe circus, it’s fun, insanely visually impressive, scary but not overkill.

The visuals, sounds, and atmosphere are really well delivered and truly amazing especially in the first half of the game. Towards the end it becomes a flat out action game and more of a FPS but lacks the fast paced controls needed there. This is observed in boss fights that are average at best.     I find it a bit unbalanced the first part being the longest and having the most puzzles. Next parts of the map are not so puzzly and some are very short. Game is not difficult on normal level, it gives a lot of resources. I liked the atmosphere, the story is farfetched, and we are very far from the old zombie theme.

    This is THE resident evil that got me into resident evil, I was extremely impressed by how the gameplay, story and characters as well as the obstacles you encounter along the way, like lady dimitrescu, Heisenberg, Angie and Moreau. Hopefully capcom learns and makes the changes for 9, but these small misses don’t change the fact that this game is an absolute titan. Do yourself a favor, buy the game and play it.     Resdient Evil: The Village's combat is thrilling and difficult. Resources are scarce, and enemy encounters are varied and interesting. There is a great and expansive system of buying and upgrading weapons. Although not terrifying, there are parts of the game that are quite creepy, cycling through the many types of horror gaming from classic Resident Evil in a mansion, to Layers of Fear, to the claustrophobic industrial setting. There are many nods to previous RE games, almost like a greatest hits version of the series. There's something very similar to RE4's controller-throwing opening combat sequence where you're swarmed by endless enemies. Once you get past that opening hurdle, the game becomes much more free-from in something like the hub-based open world you see in many immersive action games, with light RPG elements. The level design is excellent, reminiscent of Dark Souls, and rewards exploration, as you uncover hidden new areas.

    What kicks it up to a 10 is hard to explain. The game is just cool. Its stylish and bleak visuals, the fantastic graphics, and great character design of your adversaries blend together perfectly. There is also a subversive undercurrent of dark humor that I loved in the writing and dialog.

Would recommend playing for fans of the series and those interested in horror/action games-this entry in the series tones down the overall horror, when compared to previous games, however, it still delivers in providing a creepy atmosphere with solid survival horror gameplay. The character design and gameplay is also solid-new inventory system and merchant was a great addition!

    A single playthrough can last anywhere from 10-15 hours, depending on how much time you invest outside the main story with puzzles and treasures. The world is more open at least compared to previous entries, but it can still feel linear at times in terms of what resources you have access to and how this impacts your movement around the world. The world itself is designed very well-there is great variety to the different areas you explore throughout the story. However, there were a few areas in the game I would have liked to further explore, but was unable to revisit due to my progression in the story.

    A few weaknesses of the game would include the relatively short lived boss battles which didn't live up to the hype going into the game-some of which were over the top action oriented. If you are an avid player in the series, I would also recommend playing through on hardcore difficulty.    … Expand

    fantastic action, not as scary as re7 but makes up for it unique bosses and areas. Game took me 13 hours but don't be fooled, it was a fantastic 13 hours with no lows. Imo games should be judged by the number of quality hours of gameplay it can offer and this game is worth the $60 price and so far is my favorite of the year. Game ends on a strong note and makes me excited for resident evil 9!

    - The cinematic/scripted sequences hurt the game incredibly and strip control away from you constantly . Plus they make replaying the game a pain
    - Boss fights are for the most part pretty bad
    - The tight FOV from RE7 didn't gel well with the over the top action
    - It's never scary or tense
    - There is hardly any audible music in a series known for it's music
    - Some nods were okay but the boulder thing was cringe . It was Capcom's "How do you do fellow kids" moment

    The overwhelmingly positive reception and the ending implications of this game leave me worried for the conclusion of the trilogy which to me might be even weaker than the RE4 to RE6 one . The production value is A1, story is solid, and the game play is quite enjoyable. I just had to come give the game a 10 after finishing it up because I wanted to balance out some of the people crying while playing it on their toaster. I literally do not understand how you give this game a 0. Especially with literally no good reason. The optimization is pretty good!… Expand

    - A good follow up to RE7 story - The presentation is virtually flawless. - huge improvement on the variety of enemies in the game, compared to the repetitive black sludges in RE7. - the villains are interesting af. - The themes were varied, from spooky to disgusting and everything in between. - Chris' appearance is back to normal - More tie in with original story    Good

    - really small things. Like a bullet being able to knock a lamp into full swing is unrealistic making the puzzle a little hard to figure out. There was one part where yellow paint was misused tractor shovels in the ventilation in the factory, making me confused as to where to go.    … Expand

    Only thing keeping it from a 10 from me is that it doesn’t really blow my mind. But the story, graphics, and characters are all great. Solid game

    This game here in Brazil had an absurd hype, several theories among other things and the game without a doubt is incredible, I only give 9 because this game is a little worse than some other games in the franchise (sorry for bad English)

    Similarly to Resident Evil 4 back in the day, Village will attract a new generation of players and redefine the franchise for the modern age. I guess it’s time to stop looking back and counting on the series to return to its roots. Capcom is well aware of those roots and willingly draws from them to create something new but still infused with Resident Evil’s spirit. Village is not perfect, but neither was RE4, and once again it’s easy to turn a blind eye to the flaws, because overall it’s an amazing game. [07/2021, p.56]

    Resident Evil Village feels like such a culmination. Bringing together elements from the franchise all the way up to now and crafting what looks to be the next step of survival horror, it embraces every aspect of the franchise. While the insidious dread of Resident Evil VII is missing, there are still plenty of scares. The monster designs are fantastic, from the generations undead, the fury of the Lupine beasts, to the towering monstrosities. It's well worth delving into the concept art and 3D models to enjoy them fully. The story is just the right amount of silly with the terrifying, and the odd dash of the surreal. The combat is smooth and fluid, best evidenced in the addictive Mercenaries mode. All of these elements added together make quite possibly the best Resident Evil to date, and a foundation for a fresh new generation of terror.

    RE: Village is a mixture of almost all previous Resident Evil elements, making the most of both survival horror and puzzle intensity, but with the primary stage being left for the more action-like nature of Resident Evil 4. It has some great story moments, sprinkled with a few lacklustre characters that are still overshadowed by its most notable characteristic – most detailed environment to date.
