    Alors apres avoir passé plus de 90h et un platine a la clé (platine le 01/06/23), RE4 Remake eh bien ça c'est du remake à la Capcom, c'est clairement le meilleur des 3 Remake qu'on est eu droit, après un RE3 Remake bien en deçà de ce qu'il aurait dû être

    I don't understand why there's a sea of trolls here hating on the game. The aiming is not easy. I hate playing shooters on PS5 because I always played on PC, but i was able to finish this game on PS5 in around 11 hrs. That is proof that the controls are not difficult!

    Tons of fun, surprises and twists. Ashley is less annoying. Ada is hot as always and Leon is a legend.
    Can't wait for the Ada DLC, which definitely will happen, given the storyline of Leon's story    … Expand

    When I was a kid, one way in particular that I knew I now owned a great game was that once the credits rolled, all I wanted to do was immediately start a new save file and play through it again.
    It's been a good while in my adult life since I've ever had that, and RE4 Remake is among the few in recent years that gave me that magical feeling.
    The game feels incredibly additive in a lot    When I was a kid, one way in particular that I knew I now owned a great game was that once the credits rolled, all I wanted to do was immediately start a new save file and play through it again.
    It's been a good while in my adult life since I've ever had that, and RE4 Remake is among the few in recent years that gave me that magical feeling.

    The game feels incredibly additive in a lot of ways. Never trying to replace or just be the definitive version of what many would call one of the greatest games of all time. Instead, it feels like it's tapping into something new; bringing you back to immaculately rendered versions of familiar places but flipping things on their heads. There are moments where this feels like this could be the "Master Quest" version of the 2005 original, albeit nearly 20 some years in the making.
    The step back from the campy fun of the original script is sorely missed in parts, but I really enjoyed the more nuanced and human approach to Leon as well as the supporting cast. He's now truly haunted by the events of Raccoon City, and feels like he has a genuine chip on his shoulder. When one of those classic lines comes out now it doesn't feel like just goofy fun, it feels like he's trying to put up a front; a brave face to not look like he's giving into the despair of the situation. Ashley goes on a great arc in the remake, from frightened and untrusting to headstrong and confident in herself and your duos capabilities.
    The way in which characters like Luis are expanded on was also brilliantly done. I've seen a fair share of ire directed at the way in which Ada is portrayed in the game, citing that she comes across as cold compared to the original. However I found it to be pretty faithful. It never read to me as a change in character, but perhaps a more clearly defined attempt for her to keep her personal feelings as well as Leon himself at arms length.

    One last thing I'd say is that it's one of the best "game-feel" games I've played in a long time. I had thought that The Last of Us Part II may hold on to the podium position into terms of 3rd Person Action game feel for some time. While this isn't identical and the games themselves are very different in the challenges they pose to the players, this way has a buttery smooth arcade feel to the movement and an easily learnable precision to the way in which the mechanics interact. Once you've kicked a granny Genado into a crowed a few times, you instantly start to understand the best ways to approach each group or mob. That's not to say that the game gets easier as you go. The challenges get ratcheted up at a steady but consistently fun pace from beginning to end.

    An excellent remake for one of the greatest games of all time. Doesn't try to overwrite the original but instead creates a re-imagining enjoyable to both modern audiences and veterans alike.

Every other studio should learn from capcom how to remake a game and make it feel even better than the original.     The game is simply fantastic, with absurdly incredible graphics and a wonderful story, the characters are much more presented and interesting, in my opinion this game greatly surpasses the original.

    An old masterpiece in a new wrapper. In addition to the fact that the remake preserves all the advantages of the original, it also supplements them with its advantages and new game mechanics. Some plot points are reworked to make for a more logical story. There is no point in talking about the visual part, everything is visible here anyway.

One of the best things that I like about Capcom is that they optimize their games for PC really well! In the modern AAA gaming, most of the PC ports are either broken or they suck but thankfully RE4 remake is not one of those games!     Es demasiado bueno, me encanto, lo unico triste es todas las reviews negativas que le ponen por cosas exteriores al juego, es un juegazo se merece goty, muy buena ambientacion, accion, en algunos momentos me genero mucha tension y los personajes los retrataron demasiado bien.

    Just a fun game to play. The original PS2 version was probally one of the best games of all time, and this remake does not disappoint either. Cool action and set pieces and suprises. Nice graphics too.

    Its a resident evil game so i think some of the dialouge is intentionally corny. I don't understand the 0 rating reviews, it seems like people that review games with 0 have no idea    Just a fun game to play.     I'd like to start with the people signing their own L's on Metacritic for all to see, just because you can't figure out enemy patterns or a method to fight against them doesn't make the game bad. It makes your ability to adapt and learn questionable to say the very least. That and "It doesn't feel like a RE game" absolute waffle    This is arguably one of the best remakes Capcom have done.

That and "It doesn't feel like a RE game" absolute waffle from people on their high throne trying to cast judgement too many people are trying to live off the days of fixed camera angles.

    Whilst not being a perfect 1 to 1 remake, I don't think that would have been the right thing to do. There are plenty of areas within the game that just feel incredibly familiar even without it being a direct copy of the original. It targets a nostalgic portion and targets a newer crowd a good mix that isn't trying to just be a simple copy paste something which RE2:Remake was guilty of. The fact this game isn't trying to be an entire copy paste is the reason its probably the best remake in the series.

    Puzzles have been slightly improved so they no longer are of the bog standard basic version that the OG RE4 were. Another nod to the nostalgic portion of RE fans who can never be pleased.    … Expand

    Es un gran remake, mejor que el 2 y obviamente que el 3, no para mi mejor que el 1. El único problema no es el juego en sí, porque en contenido, gameplay e historia cumplen, y aunque aporta cosas nuevas, no son lo suficientes para justificar el precio completo siendo un remake, lo recomiendo para quienes no lo han jugado la primera versión y para los fans creo que no importará mi opinión,Es un gran remake, mejor que el 2 y obviamente que el 3, no para mi mejor que el 1. El único problema no es el juego en sí, porque en contenido, gameplay e historia cumplen, y aunque aporta cosas nuevas, no son lo suficientes para justificar el precio completo siendo un remake, lo recomiendo para quienes no lo han jugado la primera versión y para los fans creo que no importará mi opinión, pero si ya jugaste el original y te gusto pero no te volvió loco, es mejor esperar y no apoyar estos remakes, que ya se hizo costumbre venderlos por precio completo.… Expand

    The best game I have ever played. Of course, I like the original version very much, but I haven't tried it yet, and I think this version can be just as good as the old version. Also, I'm sorry because my language is not English and I used a translator and I think it's not written very well.

    The story of the game is a mediocre story, the gameplay is very enjoyable and attractive, in terms of visuals, it is equal to Cross Gen 2023 games and has a stunning visual, the main boss fights are very similar to each other. The sound design of the game is wonderful, the enemies have a good variety and only one new type of enemy has been added to the remake compared to the original version.

    Resident Evil 4 Remake not only does right by its original source of inspiration, but it also sets a high bar for what modern day remakes can be. All components of the story have been finetuned into a more well-thought out package, and that’s before mentioning the game’s full use of today’s graphical prowess to deliver a more terrifying interpretation of rural Spain. The core gameplay also retains what made it so great back in the day, but with modern amenities such as a parrying system, quick-select for weapons and the ability to run. And despite the new improvements, the increased aggressiveness of the enemies ensures that the game never feels like a cakewalk. I don’t know who still needs to be convinced at this point, but Resident Evil 4 is a masterpiece that I cannot recommend enough.
