    This game deserved to be one of the best RE game, also a great remake so far. Although, some sections of the game has cut from the original, still the nostalgic feeling while playing still in the game. Masterpiece!!! By the way, screw the cringey negative scored spammers.

    i don’t understand the hate for this game. It’s literaly 1000 times better of the original. Introduction of stealth, nice shoot sistem, and it’s funny like the original one. Don’t listen to the bad reviews, this game is a masterpiece.

    Anyone who is surprised by this low user score, just know that there is no real hate for this game. For example, on Steam it's "Overwhelmingly positive" with over 12 000 reviews. What happened here, seems to be typical review bombing/double fake accounts giving 0's. This game is phenomenal, buy it, play it. Games that are this good release rarely, don't miss it.

    If you are scrolling through the user score, you will have already realized that RE4 is the most loved and hated title in the saga. I think it's worth checking out this reinvention that from my point of view does it justice and brings the original 2005 title back to our time. it's pretty good.

    really love this remake, it's much more than a remake by the way, if we compare it to the most recent TLOU remake for the ps5 there is no possible debate, the work to be done is enormous, the sound design, graphics, level design, feedback of each weapon is unique and absolutely amazing. The work on the village and espicially the castle is remarkable.     The original is my favorite game of all time. This is truly a love letter to the original. The combat is addictive. The game has truly terrifying moments, and every encounter is tense and stressful in the best way. The game is truly survival horror, whereas im not sure the original was.     This is most obvious GOTY of all time! As a Remake, it's amazing. As a standalone modern video game, it's amazing. It's fun, it's scary, it has action, it has horror. It's not just copy+paste "new graphics on old game", nope. This is, in many ways, expanded and updated version of RE4. I would say, 99% of the new addions and changes are absolutely welcomed and well done. Graphically itThis is most obvious GOTY of all time! As a Remake, it's amazing. As a standalone modern video game, it's amazing. It's fun, it's scary, it has action, it has horror. It's not just copy+paste "new graphics on old game", nope. This is, in many ways, expanded and updated version of RE4. I would say, 99% of the new addions and changes are absolutely welcomed and well done. Graphically it literally looks like "next-gen". Rain/storm looks great and makes it obvious that pre-release footage was just some "beta" stages.

    Obviously no game is perfect, i could always complain about something, anything (that goes for any game btw). But i almost don't want to, it's just as close to perfection as modern remake could be. Dead Space Remake was solid, very good. But this one is next level compared to that one.

    To bring out some negatives, as a die hard RE4 fan, i was obviously disappointed that U-3 was cut. U-3 had very interesting design and fight was fun and scary and would have worked perfectly in this new remake. I'm not really sure why the cut it, but i'm hopeful that maybe they are holding it for dlc.

    BUT that didn't break the game for me at all, everything else was great, most boss fights were amazing and expanded content helped as well. Atmosphere was absolutely flawless on all three locations (village,castle,island). Voice acting (for the most part) was great. My biggest surprise was Ashley, she was perfect! I was never huge Ashley fan, in the original she was extremely annoying, but in the remake she almost felt like new character (in a good way). Leon's voice acting was solid, as expected. Overall script/dialogue was also nice, i especially liked moments between Leon and Ashley.

    At the end of the day, i don't even care if it wins any awards, all i can say is, that it's very good game and that's the most important thing. But when development team puts so much passion into a project like this, i think it should be rewarded.    … Expand

    A very interesting take of the plot of RE4 , rather taking a way more serious tone , the characters are less campy and more insecure. I definitely like this change since its only natural to be more scared and insecure in a location full of insane crazy creatures. The gameplay is improved upon and I absolutely love the pary system. I am beyond impressed by this game capcom has made sure to do right by going through everything with a fine comb working out all the kinks of the lovely original re4 and honestly made this so much more satisfying and even better the overall change has made the game feel so different yet so familiar and I love the original re4 but this remake really does blow it out the park in every way… Expand

Basically bunch of haters, who deliberately want to lower the user score. There was even someone literally encouraging others to "keep making more accounts" to give the game 0/10.     -a love letter to the resident evil 4 fans

    -mapping, side quests, the merchants mini game, and back tracking increases the time of the game

Resident Evil 4 Remake quando anunciado, ganhou muito haters, pessoas que queriam o Code Verônica ao invés do Resident Evil 4 Remake, muitas perguntas de que se era um Remake necessário, hoje após lançamento, o game respondeu com perfeição, sim, era necessário, Resident Evil 4 Remake com certeza vai servir como base para os games futuros, o sucesso é estrondoso, e o game é incrível, enredo muito aprofundado, personagens carismáticos, Luís roubando a cena várias e várias vezes, inimigos desafiadores, respeito ao material original mas também introduzindo coisas novas, é um Remake completo, este sim é um Remake. valeu cada centavo gasto.… Expand

    Wow capcom wow, what a fantastic job delivering this masterpiece AGAIN! I've never been this thrilled by playing RE game but this remake definitely made me scream especially the Ashley part. I've played the original since I was a kid but this remake already surpassed the OG one imo. This title deserves GOTY 2023 man!

    Easily the greatest remake of a game to date, just beating out the Dead Space remake.

    The story has been polished with slight tweaks here and there, the gameplay has been modernised whilst still retaining the frantic action/horror of the original.

    My favourite game of 2023 so far.

    This is a masterpiece remake that deserves the best rating!!! Kapcom did what they always did best, another gorgeous remake of the best Resident Evil series of games! Thanks to them for this!

    Es demasiado bueno, me encanto, lo unico triste es todas las reviews negativas que le ponen por cosas exteriores al juego, es un juegazo se merece goty, muy buena ambientacion, accion, en algunos momentos me genero mucha tension y los personajes los retrataron demasiado bien.

    Honestly a perfect remake of a classic game. No cut major areas, tons of new stuff. Ashley is a lot better and actually has a personality aside from screaming Leon Help like in the Original. Gameplay is better than any of the 3rd person Resident Evil games before it. Enemies are brutal and unforgiving, but the new gameplay mechanics make the combat a fair playing field.     Absolutely stays true to the original while still staying fresh and developing it's own atmosphere.The puzzles are more original, the graphics are incredible and the overall feel is smooth. Not sure what the FPS issue is with people but I played on performance mode on Series X and it ran like a dream. On par with the RE2 remake. Multiple playthroughs are in store.

    one of the best remakes, it keeps almost everything from the original while improving upon it, it did cut some stuff out off the original but unlike re3 remake, it replaces them with content just as good, but i'm sad that the u-3 was cut.

    The story of the game is a mediocre story, the gameplay is very enjoyable and attractive, in terms of visuals, it is equal to Cross Gen 2023 games and has a stunning visual, the main boss fights are very similar to each other. The sound design of the game is wonderful, the enemies have a good variety and only one new type of enemy has been added to the remake compared to the original version.

    Resident Evil 4 Remake not only does right by its original source of inspiration, but it also sets a high bar for what modern day remakes can be. All components of the story have been finetuned into a more well-thought out package, and that’s before mentioning the game’s full use of today’s graphical prowess to deliver a more terrifying interpretation of rural Spain. The core gameplay also retains what made it so great back in the day, but with modern amenities such as a parrying system, quick-select for weapons and the ability to run. And despite the new improvements, the increased aggressiveness of the enemies ensures that the game never feels like a cakewalk. I don’t know who still needs to be convinced at this point, but Resident Evil 4 is a masterpiece that I cannot recommend enough.
