    From its amazing story and the beautiful true next gen graphics, to the haptic feedback and gameplay, this game is a true masterpiece and a must play even if you’re new to the ratchet and clank franchise like I was. It’s shorter than I’d liked but those 10 or so hours are packed full of action and story, spanning across multiple different worlds each with the their own unique stuff.     El mejor juego de la saga sin ninguna duda, que recoge el testigo de la saga future (atrapados en el tiempo). Brillante en la mayoria de sus apartados: jugabilidad (mejorada con las nuevas posibilidades del mando), diseño y escenarios (parece una película), plataformeo, frenetismo y acción a raudales. I've heard some people say this game is too short but tbh, I didn't feel as if that was the case at all. While there may only technically be 9 planets, they have a lot to explore, unlike the previous titles. One thing most of the gameplay footage we got doesn't show is how heart-felt the story is. I haven't played a game with such a heart-felt story since The Last of Us came out in 2013.     Loved every minute of it!!! This definitely makes up for the lack luster of the 2016 game. Love the gameplay, loved the mechanics, loved the story!!! Can't wait to see what they have in store next for the 2 duo's. I hope they finally explore the Lombax society.

    Graphics are very nice and smooth, raytracing is also very well (played the Performance RT Mode)

    This is the best game to be released this year point blank period. As this is my first Ratchet and Clank game my expectations were kinda low. But after playing this game I have this feeling of going back and beating the other games. I played in fidelity mode simply because I wanted to the 4k resolution. But the game is more smooth at performance mode so choose your poison.

    Now when it comes to the upgrade system I was shocked at how many upgrades and guns there were in the game. As soon as I thought this is the final gun the game would DJ Khaled me and give me anotha one. Each gun for diverse and unique. I maxed every gun out and did not stick to a single one. This made the game feel new and fresh every hour or so.

    I played on the hardest difficulty and if you are a glutton for punishment this game is very hard on the hardest. Enemies attack none stop you take a lot of damage. 3-4 hits can kill you or if its a strong enemy 2-3 hits. It really pushes you to learn all the game mechanics and use the most advance mechanics along with utilizing every gun. Because on the hardest difficulty you will run out of ammo fast because the enemies soak up damage. All in all it was fun and challenging but nowhere near a dark souls or returnal.

    The gameplay itself is smooth and very responsive. There is never a dull moment from combat, to traversal, to mini games, to exploring. Everything in this game is top notch and amazing. The big action set pieces left my job dropped sometimes and had me jumping for joy.

    Honestly if you have never played a Ratchet and Clank pick it up it is amazing. And if I loved this game I know the die hard fans will be salivating at this game. I give ratchet 10 gold bolts out of 10.    … Expand

    Level Design;
    RIft apart has one of the best level design in any game. The level designs are so deep that even the objects that are so far away feel lively and convincing enough that their existence isn't merely a to fill the 3d space. Right from the city to grasslands to the pub, I was stunned by how well designed the level and how deep the subtle things in the level are. Ex: In the gastro pub, a waitress goes to each table to get the order, people are drinking, some are dancing, bartender even mixes the cocktail, you can feel the musical vibrations if you go closer to the music etc.

    Dialogue delivery: This is exactly why I like Insomniac games and what I missed in Spider man games. After playing Sunset Overdrive, this is the game where they revived the wittiness of what Insomniac games are made of, their subtle take on capitalism got my attention!

    Game length: I know this is controversial topic but I think the game length is okay. At least for me, personally, as I don't have time to play hours and hours anymore. Moreover, I honestly feel it's better to make a great game even if it's shorter than make a lengthy one with too much grind and repetitiveness.

    Narration: The characters portray emotions well and doesn't feel superficial. invoking empathy in games isn't common and I was pleasantly surprised to see Rift Apart acing this aspect of the game.

    Overall, I can go on talking about other stuff like funny weapons, humorous bosses, weird enemies who ask for a raise in their pay, insane loading times which are non existent, haptic feedback as good as Astro's playroom etc. This game is a masterpiece. Period.    … Expand

    Probably one of the best titles of PS5. Jaw dropping graphics, amazing characters, fun gameplay and fully utilized haptic feedback. Last quarter of the game is so intense, I noticed frame rate drops (once or twice) which is totally acceptable after such a detailed combat experience. Like all Insomniac titles (Marvel Spider-man and Miles Morales), this one is a must-have!

    This game is absolutely stunning. I’m not one for kids games (so to speak), however, this game blew me away, I enjoyed it as much as sekiro, the last of us part 2 & ghost of Tsushima. It may be on par with breathe of the wild. It’s that good. Insomniac right now is turning into one of my favourite game developers alongside rockstar, platinum games and fromsoftware. 3 words, PLAY THIS GAME.

    This is the best Ratchet & Clank game so far. Great story, great graphics, amazing characters, and the "usual" Ratchet & Clank Gameplay as you would expect though with a few new additions.     The first game in history to properly take use of SSD-speeds and it shows. Game is graphically amazing and zero loading helps the game feel great. U also have 3 modes (Ray-tracing, performance & performance ray-tracing) Everything feels smooth. Day one must play.

    First game I played on my brand-new PS5 last year and what can I say: I had a blast!!! So much fun to play with the integration of haptic feedback, so great to look at, such a nice addition of charming new characters! Just loved everything about the game!!!

    Amazing game 9/10. just great gameplay, great story, and great level building. but it gets a 10/10 because of the mind blowing visuals and the mind blowing rifting between dimensions. Visuals and rifting didnt hit me at first although I thought rifting was still impressive but later on they hit me hard and it was crazy to see

    I Played every Ratchet and Clank and this one is truly remarkable. It feels really nextgen with its rifts. It also is a really cool continuation of the future series (tools of destruction and a crack in time), so the best ones in the whole franchise.

    Thank you Insomniac for staying true to what makes this game great. This is a classic Ratchet and Clank game with some nice additions and super crisp graphics. Love the pace, fighting mechanics and story. One of the first things you will notice compared to previous generations is the absence of loading times. Voice acting is superb and most importantly this game is fun!

    OMG this game is incredible. I much like the PS4 original game but Rift Apart is just insane. The visuals are top notch, 60 fps and raytracing and 4K dynamic resolution shows the full potential of next-gen gaming. Rift Apart is one of the many reasons why you need a PS5. Insomniac has made a fantastic job. Chapeau!

However like every R&C game my only criticism is that there's juet not enough of it (e.g. i wish the arena here had more levels and modes to play through, much like the arena of R&C3).     I am a Ratchet and Clank fan, so I think that influenced my score, if you aren't a fan of the series I would lower my score by 2.

    I went in expecting terrific graphics, I got that. There were times where the graphics legitimately stunned me. The fact that the game constantly looks as stellar as does with absolutely no hitches in terms of framerate? It's kind of nuts. The gameplay is fun, constantly involving, and almost always captivating. I expected all of this from Ratchet & Clank and Insomniac. I was worried about the replayability. A shorter game, but it has all the replayability you can ask for. It's deceptively dense and the worlds are filled with places to explore. The NG+ introduces new weapons - two of the best in the game - and adds Omega variants to all 18 weapons you can collect in your first playthrough. These change gameplay enough that your weapons feel different, and it also opens up much more upgrade possibility with said weapons.

    I love this game and would trust Insomniac with my life at this point. Mfs don't miss.    … Expand

    This is the first actual next generation game that truly shows what PS5 is capable of. Amazing gameplay with a lot of variety of playstyles. Incredibly detailed locations, every planet has it's own style and provides unique gameplay features that make every planet memorable.

    Le jeu est parfait, rien à dire de négatif dessus. Les combats sont ultra fluide, les commandes sont facile à apprendre, le chargement est instantané donc pas d'attente. J'aime bien que les doublure française soient les mêmes que le film sortie il ya pas longtemps. Le seul point négatif n'est pas si grave et est que si tu essaies de prendre un raccourci mais qu'il y ai un genre de murLe jeu est parfait, rien à dire de négatif dessus.     A Masterpiece from Insomniac. I’ve bought & played the 2016 reboot. While it’s good it doesn’t impress me quite as much as this one. Pixar’s level graphics, tight gameplay, excellent sound & music and engaging storytelling. A must play if you owned a PS5.

    Tons of fun for hours and hours. So sad it's been such a long time since last time a new ratchet and clank rolled up. I really enjoyed the new graphics and smoothness of the action. Storywise also very nice. Totally recommend to everyone

    This game is a wonderful delight for every age! Took me about 25 hours to 100% complete it with Platinum and the NG+ offers some more progression which adds to the replay value. Graphics are incredible Pixar movie like quality and performance is stable too with no crashes at all. This is how a game should be released these days!     Después de pasar varias horas jugando, la conclusión respecto al juego es simple, es casi perfecto. El juego es un portento gráfico en su ámbito, la jugabilidad es fluida y divertida, los tiempos de carga son nulos y se alza por encima de muchos juegos en la actualidad. Sin duda un imperdible para los que si aman los videojuegos.

    Good plot, good graphics, gameplay is pure fun! Rivet is such an awesome character. I wish Insomniac would have used more set pieces where you travel to one dimension to another in a boss fight or something.

    An absolute visual treat, this game definitely feels like a Pixar game. With amazing new characters and a wild variety of weapons, this game is a solid continuation for the long running series and a great place for new players to start their journey. Kudos to Insomniac Games for releasing yet another absolutely fantastic game can’t wait to see what their future games are gonna look like.

    Great game, and to this day I have not seen another that looks as good as this one, the visuals are impressive, it is my first ratchet game and perhaps that is why it has been of great pleasure to me for its good gameplay, story. I highly recommend a masterpiece.

    this game is not perfect at all but is still very GREAT i like the fact the game give to the player a new little robot like clank,i love the story, i, love new charapters, new weapons; difects: very bad humor,no plumber and too short but i love it, if you have already a ps5 buy it, you won't regret it.

    This is THE best looking game to date. With one of the best implementations for haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. It's more fun than any Ratchet and Clank game I've ever played and it's very addictive so far. I just wish they made each enemy unique where you have to use a certain gun on them. That would've been way better.

    This game is absolutely sensational. The combat and story of this game are great and normally those are the things I care about most in a game but the graphics and teleportation in this game are so good that they engaged me into the game more than the story or combat.
