    I originally went in skeptical to Horizon Zero Dawn, and I was blown away, it quickly became my favorite open world RPG. So the sequel, Forbidden West had a lot to live up to. And oh boy did it, it took everything I loved about the original and cranked it up to 10. As of this review, I have 30+ hours into it, snd I’m only at 32% complete.10/10. Highly recommend

    Me parece que tiene un diseño pobre y que sólo se copiaron de la cara de los actores para plasmarla en el juego pero recomiendo que pareis de echar haté por qué todo lo que dije es mentira Horizon forbiden west es una obra maestra pero no le intentéis echar haté a Elden ring solo por qué obtenga una mejor nota es lamentable de verdad

    I played it over 20 hours now and i gotta say the gameplay gets booring quickly.
    Think its overhyped at the moment playstation people want the killer app.

    Loved HZD but this one lost the magic. Looks good but the cut scenes are jerky. Too much effort went into making a politically correct story/NPC interaction but the result is bland and boring. Got so sick of hearing every NPC call her Savior. Cool new machines but they lack personally and just spin and jump without tells.

    4. Absolutely zero water collision mechanics between the playable character and the water.
    5. Character models are very poorly optimized in their routing.
    If I hadn't received this game as a gift, I'd return it post-haste. There are multitudes of better single-player open world games out there.    … Expand

    FANTASTIC GAME! Starts slow, but picks up once you enter the forbidden west. Ignore the negative reviews. It is a great gaming experience.

    Bigger and better than the first one, absolute stunning game. The gameplay is fast and furious but can be tailored to your style of play. The open world has plenty to explore without incurring bloat fatigue. Best game on the ps5.

    It's an absolutely excellent game, and in every way, it has this amazing graphics. The only disadvantage may be that this one is still an ordinary open world, and the gameplay is not very high. But it's an all-around upgrade for a generation. Players may not feel bored.

    Animaciones, la carga grafica y follaje es impresionante, los npc las animaciones faciales de aloy es sublime, el transurso dia y noche sumado al dualsense y su fantastica historia le dan una innmersion de otro nivel. Es increible como guerrilla a mimado con tanto cariño el detalle tan cuidado como si fuera la misma vida real.

    Первое что брасется в глаза это графика, по предзаказу я установил пс 4 версию и просто был в шоке что приходится рожать из себя консоли каторой почти 9 лет, меня это удивило, после установки пс 5 версии у меня случился экстаз, это вау тут не докапатся 2ое что мне понравилось это новые примочки по типу крюка и планёра, к сожалению до полётов пока не дошёл . Puede verse enturbiado con algunos bugs, y su historia tampoco es que sea lo mejor que hubiera deseado.

    Big improvement everywhere compared to Zero Dawn. The graphics are out of this world. I got the PS5 version. This game is worth every penny. The detail level of the water in this game is insane. The characters look real life , I’ve been playing on quality mode , it looks so great on that LG OLED.

    Amazing game from every single angle it got, even though i haven't completed it yet but so far so good tbh, even though there's some glitches here and there that wouldn't ruin the game or anything but its all good every game got em at its first couple of days of launch, and for the xbox fanboys that are mad, if you can't beat em, join em, yall are welcomed here :)

    While the game definitely isn't perfect, it's an improvement on the original in just about every single way. Graphics are incredible, the story is engaging, and side missions are a big improvement. Despite already putting in 22 hours, I keep wanting to come back to the game and keep exploring. My only main complaint are minor bugs and other minor technical issues.     Amazing gameplay experience, the best looking game - graphic wise - i've ever seen, wonderful soundtrack and audio design. The story is unpredictable and engaging. Guerrilla did not disappoint once again by filling missing pieces from the first game.

    Unbelievable game. They've outdone themselves. Mind you, a few things to clean up but nothing game breaking. Exceeding my expectations by A LOT. Taking my time with this game. 20 hours in and I've barely scratched the surface of what the game has to offer.

I'm enjoying the story & the expansion of the lore put forward in the first game. 20 hours in and i've only unlocked about a third of the map (i think), but i have taken my time to explore and do all on    Visually stunning on PS5. Load screens are under 1 second.
    Gameplay is fast & fun,

    La verdad que no entiendo muchas de las críticas negativas, sobre todo los ceros, que deben ser xboxers amargados. El juego, pese a que tiene algunos bugs subsanables, tiene una profundidad enorme y supera en todo a su predecesor y a juegos del estilo.

    A los haters solo les diría que lo prueben antes de ponerle el cero, que se nota que no lo han jugado.

    The game is much better then I ever expected it to be. So much fun that I am 10 hours in and still not crossed into the forbidden west. Doing everything 100% on ultra hard and having much fun :)

    The game has so many details in details and never saw something like this in a linear game, so other open world games can not even compete.

    I don't understand why this game is being review bombed with low ratings. Zero?? Grow up, touch grass. I'm not sure if they have played this game or even owns it. Gameplay is good and the graphics are insane on PS5. I'm enjoying every bit of this game, if you love the original then you will love this as well. Will definitely be a game of the year contender.

I'm 25 hrs into it and barely just entering the tenakth territories. I want to explore everything there is to this game, and there is a TON to do and explore. Hell im only 23%. Playing on Normal, combat is definitely a challenge at times.For a launch, there are always some bugs which im fine with.     All improvements i thought they could make to the game from the first game they did. I haven't completed it yet but I'm pretty far through the story and the lore feels so in depth it's like i'm reading a book. And a very good one at that. Tweaks to the gameplay; the skill tree improvements and new weapon crafting and improvement systems feel so natural and add a lot of cool new aspects to gameplay allowing you to employ your own set of tactics. Onto one of my favourite parts - the voice acting and character movements. In conversation it makes you feel enveloped in the universe through genuinely enjoyable character interactions, great voice acting and realistic character movements during conversation. The Forbidden West location itself is very rich with the locations containing tribes now feeling enjoyable to wander around find quests and even play a game of "Machine Strike". This is something I found lacking from the first game and I'm very glad they got it right this time around.

    All in all 10/10 combat, 10/10 story (so far), 10/10 voice acting and 10/10 world building    … Expand

    Despite of being a crossgen game, Guerrilla has somehow made it look better than most next gen only games.
    Im loving it so far the story feels very engaging, and ofc Dualsense support here is just phenomenal.
    Its a must have from me, money well spent.

    Exceeds expectations. Honestly. One of the best games ever if you ask me. Ignore the feview bombers and go buy this game. It's 100% worth it. Your eyes will adjust to the resolution mode but it's worth playing in that mode.

    O Game está incrível, tanto no PS4 quanto no PS5 e espero que futuramemte chegue no PC também. Graficamente lindo, jogabilidade ótima, raríssimos delay de render e até o momento nenhum bug. Espero muito que tenha mais games com essa qualidade em todas as plataformas!!

    The game still suffers from wokeness with a few references and influences.

Horizon Forbidden West fulfils it all. Undoubtedly the best open world games till date. The graphics of this game on the PS5 is so gorgeous that I can't get my eyes off it + every single criticism that it received for HZD hasI don't remember the last time where I played an open world game which has been so engaging with it's enemy variety, combat and side quests along with the main quest. Horizon Forbidden West fulfils it all. Undoubtedly the best open world games till date.     This game frustrates me in some ways. I gave the game a 9 because I think it really is a masterpiece of a game that’s held back by some old design philosophies. Namely its questing interface and traversal. Guerrilla designed the game around using quest markers for each sub task, so it can be more frustrating than immersive to play without them, and confusing when you turn it on and aThis game frustrates me in some ways. The climbing also seems to have been made intentionally worse. The main character will often jump in the exact opposite direction you’re shouting at her to go. However, the story is phenomenal, the characters are more interesting this time around, and fighting robots dinosaurs is an ethereal experience thanks to the PS5’s turbo blast processing. This game could be a masterpiece if moving around the world was snappier, and there was less of a Skyrim-like mission structure of “follow the marker.” However, I don’t fault the developer for these issues. I’d assume that based on the quality of the other aspects of the game, they likely prioritized expanding the strengths of their last game (combat and story) and succeeded in fixing their biggest blunder (the facial animations in the new game are miles better than Zero Dawn). While it’s tempting to sit here and dream about what this game could’ve been, I’d really rather just fight a thunder jaw again! I found that Hard difficulty made combat more engaging than the easier modes but MUCH more bearable than Ultra Hard. I’d recommend playing on Hard at first and changing the difficulty it you find yourself having less fun. Get the game, just be aware it’s not going to cure cancer.… Expand

    The story so far is compelling and divers, even more if you focus on side missions and tasks. Yes, there is some rinse & repeat in some missions "go there & get this", but the story surrounding it is different and divers. The main story is in my opinion believable and new.

    Regarding bugs, last minute appearing trees and other flaws, I must say that I have found none. Must say I normally am also not bothered by it in games, because it has also to do with the performance of your own hardware.

    The only thing that bothers me slightly are conversations containing "modern" words like "body bags", which I find hard to believe that is it something their world would be familiar with.

    Anyway, I foresee some long and fun playing with this game and certainly would recommend this game.    … Expand

    I rate games based on how much fun I have with them. Is HFW better than a 3? Yes certainly if you're new to gaming and don't mind playing as ugly, annoying characters. As for me, I'm over the woke let's all be ugly on purpose garbage.

    Horizon has enchanted me again. After a slow start, a graphically beautiful, sophisticated sequel comes, polished in every aspect, and underscored by a great soundtrack on top of that. The sequel was simply a success. Everything that worked before works even slightly better now. [Issue#317]

    Horizon Forbidden West is Guerrilla's best game to date, taking Aloy to new heights with a blockbuster release that meets the high standards set by PlayStation in recent years. While it's totally worth fans jumping in on day one, it's perhaps better to wait a few weeks until all the bugs are ironed out.

    Horizon Forbidden West is exactly what everyone thought it would be: an amazing game. It has an open world with plenty of things to do and places to explore, fights against some really well-developed machines and stunning visuals. The feeling is that the second game of the series improves on what was already great, and it feels rewarding and fun to play. It is another single-player masterpiece from Sony.
