    Oh, god! This is beyond bad. Someone should punch Aloy in the face. She is absolutely rude and aggressive, but unless you are a person of color or a woman. Humanity has been completely destroyed several times already, but this f*ing white man's privilege still does not give up. But Aloy is here to save us all from it, thank god.

    Gameplaywise it's almost carbon copy of the first game: empty open world, bunch of robots and ... nothing else that i can remember.

    It's not a masterpiece, far from it. And I am grateful to Sony for the fact that I now know exactly which reviewers to trust, and which ones I will never watch again    … Expand

    Bad game it really annoys me how Aloy tells me all the time what to do (or what I can do): "I can climb that wall", "I should scan the enemies to find out their weakness", "I can shoot that thing with an arrow", "I need to get rid of the enemies" etc

    She just always explains everything, even the most obvious stuff. Just let me play that game on my own, I don't need that handholding

However, after hearing about the improvements for this in previews, I preordered Forbidden West. The performance hit my PS5 takes in unacceptable, as the frame rate lags badly while running around the overworld. The stakes are large which makes all the meaningless side quests seem absurdly time wasting. It's very shallow. The tribalism is offensive.

    I will never forgive them over the ending to the Ted Faro quest. They spent a game and a half working up Aloy and the player's disgust for this man who is the reason everything bad is happening, and then they wuss out on showing him or allowing any kind of catharsis in ending him.     Assassin creed Odyssey better game than Horizon forbidden west. graphic good. i sleep when hear dialogues, totally not interesting identical side quest with give me 3 ribs in this cave.

    i change score on 6 when release on PC coz on PS5 15-20 fps in 4k or grass is drawn in 10 meters.

    I'd rather go plunge into the world of Assassin creed Odyssey than play this soulless chewing gum for $70

    The most boring and ovehyped game ever. the robot part is cool but the rest is so mediocre. Just ridiculous villages, outfits, weapons, even all the characters have 0 charisma. I dont know how but they managed to ruin such such a promising concept

    O jogo é muito bonito e colorido, tem bons gráficos mas é do mesmo jogo anteriro, as missoes são quase parecidas, tudo do mesmo fora os bugs que tem muitos, esperava algo bem melhor mas a Guerrilha ficou devendo um pouco, faltou mais ação.

    Disappointed I wasted time and money on this garbage. I won't give it a 0 or a 1, but 2 - 4 is exactly where this game belongs. Graphically this game is alright, but have seen much better and expected more, especially in preformance mode. The game's story as well as combat and controls are worthless. Sifu, a more inexpensive game far out performs this game.

    Put simply, this game should not have been released in this state. Everyone's heard of the visual bugs, but that wasn't the deal breaker for me. It's the broken climbing mechanics, the railroaded story missions, the Michael Bay Transformer Pokemon enemies, the silly progression system, the "missing tools needed to get to this area" that are locked behind main missions way down the line. MyPut simply, this game should not have been released in this state. Everyone's heard of the visual bugs, but that wasn't the deal breaker for me. My friends and I enjoyed HZD for the exploration aspect and the game simply doesn't allow you to explore anything you want to until the story missions are done. This is not what most of us do. We knock out side missions like we have OCD and run around just looking at **** Not to mention the unfinished animations that go beyond some graphical glitches, these common animations with the pullcaster and override that you see constantly aren't even as fleshed out as the original game from half a decade ago. This game feels like work at times. The story is the only thing keeping me going.… Expand

    Game was eh, it did some weird thing midway through where it closed out and would not start again until I hard reset my Ps5. Still have my saves though. Spend $70 on something else.

Side quests same as always talk to someone go to this place, kill these enemies, talk to this guy and repeat. Story was kinda good but we didnt accomplish our objektive after obtaining GAIA which was to capture Hephaestus. Old humans surviving and living 1000 years and coming back to hunt us? Their collective mind sending a signal to destroy earth like what? Collecting old world relics and black boxes was pointless and annoying. Training grounds were same old same old.     The bugs in this game make it nearly unplayable. Since release i have had 4 game breaking bugs where I had to restart and the graphics may be beautiful but the whole darkness flicker when you move the camera is distracting. Also her hair just clips through her body constantly which is distracting. Beautiful environment but super disappointed when the first quest is glitched out. Yikes!

    We live in an era of service games that are f2p, have unlimited play time, coop and/or pvp and ability to change/customise main character. This game have neither of those. And it add nothing to the 1st part of the franchise. If you want the same Horizon but with fat Aloy, then it's your game. But it's just a boring open world for most people.

    Loved the first game so much and am so disappointed with this one.. Standing still and not touching any buttons it is really beautiful at times. But while playing it is annoying at 30fps and at 60fps. And I get motion sickness when playing for more than one hour - it’s the only game where this happens to me and changing the settings doesn’t help.     Seriously wtf!!! I have encountered alot of game bugs within this very beautiful game.... I wonder how much can be fixed with a patch or how long we will have to endure. I'm not even close to beating this game and i will change my score when fxed. For now 4/10. Please fix this game!!!

    This game doesn’t deserve a score given the state it was released in. For those on PS5 do not settle for janky 30fps gameplay. Guerrilla completely butchered the performance mode in this game. To the point it causes severe eye strain and nausea. Their rendering technique if you can even call it that produces artifacts and “shimmering” that I haven’t seen since the PS3 days. CompletelyThis game doesn’t deserve a score given the state it was released in. For those on PS5 do not settle for janky 30fps gameplay. Guerrilla completely butchered the performance mode in this game. To the point it causes severe eye strain and nausea. If you’re going to sneak away a super soldier to save the world, nobody, not even the most feminist scientist on Earth would pick a 140lbs woman. And whyA very incomplete and buggy mess. If you’re going to sneak away a super soldier to save the world, nobody, not even the most feminist scientist on Earth would pick a 140lbs woman. And why wouldn’t they hide away 10 people to be cloned and save the world together? As for the critics saying gamers are being unreasonable for thinking Aloy is unattractive and hitting the “she’s realistic” drum until it snaps…have you played the game? There is nothing realistic about it. Games are for escapism. It isn’t just ok that our characters excel where we do not, including in attractiveness, they should. I was hoping there would be some variety in this game. Truthfully it is just hitting the same robots from the first game over and over and over again. And as they did in the first, this game reuses trash mobs as bosses…a lot. It doesn’t deserve the ratings it is getting. Sadly, there isn’t much good out.     After playing Zero Dawn, I was expecting a great. Instead I got a buggy mess of a game with invisible enemies, button prompts being ignored, UI elements not showing. Sections that are designed to be a pure waste of time with the same slow animations happening on every re-do making repeating the same section to be a complete frustrating thing to do.

    Nothing unexpected or new imo. Developer has found their niche to sell to droves. The first game was so good and this is just more of the same. Giving me more of the same is not what I was looking for. I would say I’m disappointed but I’m not because again, this is what I, unfortunately, expected. If you liked the first game, be ready for something totally the same.

    The graphics are so intense that they cause visual fatigue. The platforming is incredibly tedious and frustrating. We're back in the nineties here. You need tro be very accurate with your jumps, else you'll fall and die, or worse, you'll have to waste a tremendous amount of time redoing the whole platform. I can't remember how many times I've had to restart from a save or restart the PS.
    I absolutely loved the first game. Played it 3 times. I can't get immersed in this one. It's just tedious, boring and buggy. Don't know why companies insist in making sequels so boring (looking at you Last Of Us 2)
    I won't delete it yet, maybe I'll return to it someday, in a few months when all the major bugs will be (hopefully) fixed. But for now, I have to stop before playing this mess I before throw my PS out the window.

There are no real graphic scenes when boxes are opened, which was already possible with RDR2 4 years ago on "Oldgen". I'm also not really convinced of the graphics because the texture always looks the same, which means that you don't recognize a lot of things, for example items lying around, it's almost impossible to recognize them without focus. this means that you have to press the focus every few seconds. I am very disappointed with the game and the 70€ is not worth the **** better wait until it's offered for 30€ even then I wouldn't buy it if all the bugs aren't fixed -> which can take a while because there are sooo many bugs. HFW was one of the games why I bought the PS5 another is GOW Ragnarock but I will definitely not buy it at full price. when needed and only if I still have the PS5 because I'm actually considering selling it!… Expand

The story was really disappointing for me and it felt more like a tech demo for the PS5. I also don’t consider this as a “RPG” because it’s not. I’ve played Skyrim, Dragon Quest, Persona 5, The Witcher 3, Final Fantasy VII Remake etc. and I’ve had a better RPGThe only positive thing in this game for my taste were the graphics and the locations, which were both absolutely stunning.     Shimmering and 0 anti aliasing. Graininess and poor textures. How can a sony game be published with such bugs. If you have 4K OLED Tv don't buy this game until a patch is released (which is not guaranteed yet after two days of release)

    Performance mode is awful on my OLED. Grainy, noisy, oversharpened like there is no AA. Fidelity mode is too choppy for me. Very disappointed because HZD runs great at 60fps

    Много багов, управление корявое, вечно прыгает не туда куда смотришь или направляешь, вообще невозможно играть, некоторые квесты просто пропускаешь потому что вообще не понятно что делать куда идти, к примеру побочные корни 2 часа по пещере побегал, не нашел выхода отказался от квеста. Вобщем кроме графики в игре нет ничего, жалко потраченых денег и не советую к покупкеМного багов, управление корявое, вечно прыгает не туда куда смотришь или направляешь, вообще невозможно играть, некоторые квесты просто пропускаешь потому что вообще не понятно что делать куда идти, к примеру побочные корни 2 часа по пещере побегал, не нашел выхода отказался от квеста.     The overriding question Horizon Forbidden West left me with is ‘when will its prospective audience grow tired of the tired conventions that underwrite so many go-and-save-the-world adventure games?’ As much as I appreciated the fun that came from smashing up dinosaur robots, Horizon Forbidden West won’t earn a spot in my long-term memory.

    C'mon, the last boss of the game try to dodge one of my arrows and fase through the wall and got bug.

    The game completely copies the first part, no new improvements except for the grappling hook. The graphics are soapy, in performance mode everything is very blurry. The plot is boring and the characters are the same. It should also be noted that the game does not work, it is simply bugged, worse than cyberpunk.

    Horizon has enchanted me again. After a slow start, a graphically beautiful, sophisticated sequel comes, polished in every aspect, and underscored by a great soundtrack on top of that. The sequel was simply a success. Everything that worked before works even slightly better now. [Issue#317]

    Horizon Forbidden West is exactly what everyone thought it would be: an amazing game. It has an open world with plenty of things to do and places to explore, fights against some really well-developed machines and stunning visuals. The feeling is that the second game of the series improves on what was already great, and it feels rewarding and fun to play. It is another single-player masterpiece from Sony.
