    The original style and aesthetics are completely lost. Game design and visual design are destroyed. You can compare frame-by-frame, and the original will be better, except for some technical points like textures resolution, drawing range, 60 FPS, etc. But it can't even be recorded as a plus, for the for the remaster released in 2021, it should be by default, lol.

AI is worse than ever, no swimming for 3 and Vice City, no climbing ladders for San Andreas, no cover system, nothing new. Where are there quality of life improvements and *much more* that they promised in NewsWire article? And now they ask 60 dollar for this. Whoever worked on this have only slight experience in photoshop, thats it. They have no idea how to program new things. This is most amateurish product, billion dollar company has ever released. I absolutely dont care that Rockstar North didnt work on this. They hired the studio, they green lit it, they were okay to release it in state like this. Its all on them. Everything. Now Rockstar Launcher has been down over a day, i cant even play Red Dead Redemption 2, because it asks me to connect to internet and i cant do that, because launcher is down. This is ridiculous. They have milked GTA Online over 8 years and thats all they are capable of for now. Yes Red Dead 2 was great, but that was 4-5 years ago. Thats a long time. I have zero hope for GTA 6, absolutely none. I bet it will be with short story and extreme focus on online, i mean who know, maybe whole game will be just online, but im pretty sure they will design GTA 6 map, so it would mostly fit for online.     To say that I am disappointed is to say nothing. Once again I was convinced that Rockstar is not the same, since they give their great games to just anyone.
    1) Bad optimization
    2) Horrible character models
    3) Bugs
    4) Unreasonably high price
    5) Intimidation and lawsuits against moderators
    All this makes you give a bad rating to your game.

    Iconic songs cut, weird graphical glitches, sections of the map you can literally fall through, cut effects like fog and haze, uncanny valley looking characters, inconsistent lighting, lazy menus, strange highlight effect when shooting people, controls that somehow are worse than the original. Just play the originals

    The review of this game should not be based on the unchanged foundation of the existing story & world.     This abomination is no where near rockstar quality. They should remove this from stores immediately and remake it as soon as possible. Our expectations were low because this game was going to be a re-master but they created a product even worse than the 20 years old one.     Absolutely inexcusable performance on PS5, even in performance mode there is fps drops constantly! I did not expect this level of poorness from Rockstar! They need to fix it asap! Right now with the poor performance, terrible rain effects and ugly character models the game is unplayable!

    Muy lamentable esta "Edición Definitiva", se le han quitado muchísimos detalles de sus versiones originales, cómo pueden ser los pájaros que daban una sensación de un mundo algo más vivo, las tormentas de arena de la ciudad de Las Venturas, los coches por la noche no tienen encendidas ni las luces traseras, solo cuando frenas o te bajas del coche, el fog le daba mucho más realismo alMuy lamentable esta "Edición Definitiva", se le han quitado muchísimos detalles de sus versiones originales, cómo pueden ser los pájaros que daban una sensación de un mundo algo más vivo, las tormentas de arena de la ciudad de Las Venturas, los coches por la noche no tienen encendidas ni las luces traseras, solo cuando frenas o te bajas del coche, el fog le daba mucho más realismo al juego, ahora se ve muy pequeño el mapa y ni tan solo hay nubes cuando te subes a un rascacielos alto como puede ser el Maze Bank Tower, solo están arriba del mapa como decorado y no puedes atravesarlas cosa que antes sí, se nota que a esta edición Rockstar Games no ha puesto ni el mínimo mimo, les ha dejado todo el trabajo a Grove Street Games y la supervisión a sido nula, encima te lo venden a 60 eurazos una remasterización que como mucho debería costar 40€, la iluminación y texturas están muy bien hechas incluso las puestas de sol de Vice City, en el apartado visual es muy bonito, pero no todo es visual, hay infinidad de bugs que ya no son tan solo estéticos como pueden ser las caras de los personajes o atravesar paredes sino que depende de que bug te deja anclado en una misión y no puedes pasarla por culpa del bug y una empresa como Rockstar Games que tiene tanto dinero no puede hacer semejante aberración y destruir su obra maestra.… Expand

    I've paid 60EUR for this "game" and I could not play because they have retired the game. Also I can not refund because I've tried more than 2 hours, just to try to get a decent configuration (something impossible even for my mid-high end range PC: 8700k + 3070).

    Thus is the worst scam I can remember.

    It's definitely rubbish. I've played all gta games on my childhood, it was amazing, it was something new when they released them. Now it's too old too hard to play. I don't understand why rockstar released this, do they need more money or what? Such a shame. A game needs to worth the money you spend and and the time you play. It doesn't worth them all. Terrible

    One of the worst remaster versions ever made, even the bad KI from GTA 3 is the same as 20 years ago. The KI drives with a car you should protect against a wall and you fail the mission. It is so bad that it hurts, this edition is not even worth 1$ in a sale. Forget about this triology and keep your good memories about the games.

    It feels like an April 1 joke, but it is November. Bad controls, a number of glitches, bad graphics, AI – everything about this trilogy is disgusting. 0 out of 10 for sure. PlayStation 5 works in 30 FPS and it feels so bad and so glitchy that it is almost impossible to play it.

    Game is trash, I feel scammed.

    "Just play the originals" would be a valid response if Rockstar hadn't gone out of their way to remove them from all storefronts. A horrendously buggy, ugly mess of a remaster. Effects are broken. Songs are missing. Textures and lighting are garbage. Performance is sub-par.

    This is my obligatory 0 review. This is probably the 2nd worst remaster behind Warcraft 3 Reforged. The only reason this is number 2 is that at LEAST I still have the original games in my Steam account (and they're still available on old consoles).

    Well done rockstar for screwing up 3 great games. All 3 games are now buggy as hell, 1000 times buggier then they used to be. The character models look ugly AF particularly in SA. The environment graphics look slightly better than the originals but not by much. Most of the good music has been cut. The overall lighting is inconsistent, it looks good sometimes and awful most of the time.Well done rockstar for screwing up 3 great games. All 3 games are now buggy as hell, 1000 times buggier then they used to be. The character models look ugly AF particularly in SA. The environment graphics look slightly better than the originals but not by much. Most of the good music has been cut. The overall lighting is inconsistent, it looks good sometimes and awful most of the time.
    This edition wouldn't have been as much of a problem if they hadn't pulled the originals from the store. Those games have now been replaced by this awful 'definitive edition'.

    I bought this trash game Nov 11, 2021 for $63.59 on pc. GTA Trilogy D.E is CARBAGE. Don't waste your time nor money. Btw I was refunded by Xsolla Inc. Rockstar dragged their feet on refunding me. I had to watch a youtube video on how to get a refund.

    Jajaja, imaginate pagar 60 dolares por este horror de juego. Toda la esencia original de los juegos se ha perdido en este remaster, además de que quitaron las versiones originales en las tiendas digitales como Steam, la única forma actual de jugar a los GTA originales de manera legal será a través de este remaster, grande Rockstar.

    This indecency sells for 60 euros and I can't get it back. Sony make a refund on your platform please. And Rockstar Games and 2K must publicly apologize to the players for such diarrhea that they poured on our favorite games. It would be better to make a remake or nothing at all.     Not worth of full price, I am kinda mad that I didn't wait for the reviews and discount (30€ is fine price). I am having fun and nostalgic vibes but it is lazy remaster overall. Most character models are completely horrible and people are finding more stuff like that online (r/gta).     Now all the games look equally bad, like a mix of Roblox and Fortnite. The original trilogy strove for realism, as far as the PS2 allowed. You made an ugly cartoon.
    GSG you don't have a sense of taste, you just stuffed a bunch of modern technologies, but don't bother to use of them properly, which is why the remaster looks worse than the originals. Shame

    The original style and aesthetics are completely lost. Game design and visual design are destroyed. You can compare frame-by-frame, and the original will be better, except for some technical points like textures resolution, drawing range, 60 FPS, etc. But it can't even be recorded as a plus, for the for the remaster released in 2021, it should be by default.

    Trash mobile port upscaled and chraged a premium price for. It has introduced bugs that weren't in the oroginal 6th gen versions, San andreas has broken gym mechanics (was able to get max muscle in 4 or 5 gym visits), removed songs, removed 2 players, terrible character models and much more.

    Don't waste your money.
