    As a loyal player to the GTA series, I think it gives me a good feeling. But for a pro gamer who knows the details. I think the only thing that is matters most for Rockstar is money and nothing else.

    The rockstar we all loved is dead. When these games were made, rockstar tried to make the most realistic, most engaging and immersive game possible. Now they hired grove street games, which just shows rockstar doesn't care. This is how they treat the game that are responsible for their success today.     It's full of bugs, the character models look like crap for the most part, there are issues with the sound, music has been removed, certain graphical elements have been ripped out for no good reason. It's just a lazy cash grab considering Rockstar is a multi billion dollar games company.

    God awful remaster! Poor gameplay much worse than originals, I still have the originals on ps2 and can say the gameplay and character models are much worse in the remaster. This just shows pure laziness in outsourcing to a mobile games maker. We knew it wasn’t going to be great but this really took the biscuit!

    They released the old games with a modern shader or something they didn’t even try to make the game look good (which would never cost them much) and they priced 3 super outdated-old games for 50-60$ ?!! No, even the cheaper old games had less issues than the remastered ones

    Kolejny raz, kolejna firma stara się tylko wyciągnąć trochę kasy z naszego portfela. Tym razem jednak dostajemy idealny przykład tego jak mały nakładem i hypem na markę można krzyczeć pełną kwotę za grę z przed 20 lat która nawet po zmianach wygląda tragicznie. Nie polecam. A mogli wziąć przykład z hangar13 przy odnowieniu mafi co wyszło idealnie.

    Very dissapointed with this. I have played all of the originals and understand that this is a remaster. This cannot be called 'Definitive' with missing songs, bad frame rates and terrible graphic style for the characters. Avoid.

We couldn't wait a year or two for them to work on it? There's no reason why this shouldn't have the high quality design gta 4 and 5 have, what's the point.     The models is crap, terrible!!! Some areas are too dark, you can't even see the NPC's.
    The rain is like a PS filter on top of the gameplay, the original 2002 rain is much better than Trilogy 2021. WTF ROCKSTAR?

    This is just a port of the mobile version with little to no care put into to it besides slightly decent graphics. Modders made better graphics for these games years ago. Rockstar is dead

    If this is the kind of remaster they are going to do on Red Dead Redemption, then I don't want it. The modders actually did a much better job with the graphics. R* was so scared there'd be a better product, they DMCA'd everyone. R* seriously screwed the pooch on this one. They should fire the Product Manager for such a botched job.

    It's a ok game. It's good because it's the same old GTA. But talking about the graphics, the city is beautiful and the textures is way cleaner than the original games.
    We can't tell the same when we look at the characters. They look like Play-Doh toys lol. The rain looks like it's raining milk

    Ich habe mich wirklich riesig auf den Release der Trilogy Edition gefreut. Damals bin ich förmlich in den Spielwelten versunken. Dieses oldschool Feeling wollte ich erneut in aktueller, schöner Grafik erleben. Grafisch finde ich die Edition wirklich gelungen. Wettereffekte wie der leichte Nebel, oder der Sandsturm in San Andreas fehlen jedoch schon. Was mich jedoch zu dieser 0er BewertungIch habe mich wirklich riesig auf den Release der Trilogy Edition gefreut. Damals bin ich förmlich in den Spielwelten versunken. Dieses oldschool Feeling wollte ich erneut in aktueller, schöner Grafik erleben. Grafisch finde ich die Edition wirklich gelungen. Wettereffekte wie der leichte Nebel, oder der Sandsturm in San Andreas fehlen jedoch schon. Was mich jedoch zu dieser 0er Bewertung treibt ist die Optimierung. Low FPS und Ruckler am laufenden Band.

    Auf den Radiatoren sitzen Noctua IPPC 3000 RPM PWM Lüfter @ 1800 RPM unter Volllast.

    Ein reines Trauerspiel, dass die Trilogy so schlecht optimiert ist.
    Es liefert eine Performance, als würde man auf einem Taschenrechner zocken. :-(
    Wer es sich bisher noch nicht gekauft hat, sollte es auch in Zukunft nicht tun!
    Jedem der es bereits gekauft hat rate ich sich sein Geld zurückzuholen,

Sony made it surprisingly easy to refund when i told them i how often it crashes , which it does constantly and usually right as I'm finishing a mission meaning I will have to replay the whole mission. I dont even mind it having ugly character models and poorly written badly spelt signs that worst part of it is how badly it runs even on a ps5 playing on the FPS mode it drops to single digit FPS whenever rival gang members open fire on you

    I've been extremely disappointed with Rockstar since the launch of GTA online and seeing how much micotransations it had and how they basically built the game and following updates around making you endlessly grind for money or buy in game money with real money but this is the final nail for me they would have to do a lot of work for me to re buy this "complete **** edition or even any games they make in the future    … Expand

    This is the final nail in the coffin, Rockstar has turned into a soulless company that doesn’t mind cutting every corner as long as there’s an ounce of profit. They really charged $60 to watch them drop their trousers & **** all over so many childhood memories of mine.

    - missing texture/s while driving fast
    - map is empty (which is not acceptable at all)
    - low quality sounds

    Played GTA SA for a hour then the game crashed and crashes every time I load it up.

    The game looks like **** because they ported it over from the mobile gta made as lazy as possible.

    Characters look goofy, they really need to hire these kids making these mods that look great and instead of suing them they should be paying them

    They banned all the modders for this??. This is nothing. They didn't fix any bugs that was present in the original game, same issues are present here. Frame drops for a two decade old game...this is not a remaster or remake.. this is just refurbished with so called "new graphics". Waste of money and time. I'd rather play the original than this. That brings more nostalgia.

    Launch was a mess... PC players unable to play ANY games on the launcher on the day of release. Next day launcher comes back without the trilogy... Day later it returns... So why did they remove it? To fix the issues, bugs and/or crashing? Nope! They accidently left the Hot Coffee files in (again) and left music files in the game... What a joke of a company...

    Game itself: Unplayable - Crashes at least twice per mission.

    Lets start off by talking about Groove Street games. The "company" that recreated these games. They should honestly never be allowed near the video game industry again. Not only has the CEO of the company came out with the most obnoxious and arrogant response possible to his companies dumpster fire. We're talking about a company who only makes mobile games. They've literally just ported all 3 MOBILE versions of the GTA trilogy and "reskinned" them for better resolutions while charging $60. This is borderline fraud.

    The game itself is so frustrating. I've only played for maybe 5 hours and find the game crashing between 1-4 times per mission. The character models are terrible and I mean T E R R I B L E. I've heard people say they are decent for main characters, no they are not. For example, one of the most memorable people from GTA: SA was officer tenpenny. His model on this reskin is atrocious along with everyone else. Rain is obnoxious (similar to the CEO) to a point where it makes the game borderline unplayable, parts of the map completely missing, basic camera bugs (unplayable ones), cycling bikes is buggy as all hell.

    This leads me to think that Grove street games DID NOT play test their video game. I can't get through one mission without a game breaking crash or bug so how in the hell did this get to release? For example the first couple of missions are literally on a bike. You'd think one person in the studio would notice these obvious bugs? Money talks though.

    Honestly hope Grove street games is shut down and the CEO is chased out of the industry. If I had **** up even just half is bad in any of my previous job I'd be out of work. I hope the same goes for this entire company.

    Never seen a bigger advert for companies hiring modders from the community. They did a better job with less people, money, time, motive, etc.

Speaking relatively to the price, the money they demand can't be justified. Gameplay hasn't changed much, they have managed to retain the "feel" of the original games (to a respectable extent), but is that a valid reason to excuse R*'s lethargy? No. I was expecting more from a top-of-the-shelf 2021 AAA title, and they have disappointed me and many other loyalists alike. One of my major criticisms of the "remaster" is quite simple: It should've been a remake instead. R* have pretty much mastered open world graphics with GTA V and fluid physics with GTA IV, and both titles are almost a decade old. When they have such tools at their disposal, why did they deliver a sub-par video game? It does have some positives to it, like a MUCH higher drawing distance and better textures, but overall, it hasn't improved much. The games, and frankly R* themselves, are in troublesome waters... First they disappointed the player base with E&E, and have totally dropped the ball by destroying the faith old-timers had in them by butchering legendary titles. The advancement is negligible and unimpressive, and is massively overpriced for what it offers (not to mention the countless bugs and glitches, it is 2021 R*). You might wonder why I've rated the game 6/10? It felt good. I believe it is the nostalgia, reliving my childhood memories. When I was playing the game, I wasn't thinking about most of these things, because it made me feel like a kid again... But don't let nostalgia take away the fact that the "remaster" is nothing more than a cheap mod (and guess what? mods don't cost $60! in fact, they don't cost anything at all). And with T2 constantly gunning down modders left, right, and center, these legendary titles might never get the remake they deserve...… Expand

    Vice city and San Andreas have the weapon wheel right? How come we cant have all 3 weapon sets when gta online literally has 5 guns at least per slot? The graphics are ok to my liking but im seeing that the rain is **** killing my eyes no matter the game. Also how come we pause the game in gta 3 and in vice city that it literally makes san andreas sounds and not the literal original sounds of the pause menu in vice city and 3? Like there's so many damn things i wanna rip on this like how gta 3 on the switch doesnt **** have cheats yet every other console does? And again the **** weapon wheel people i mean come on i know im not the only one that feels that way about the weapon wheel not being able to have all the weapons in the game considering gta v has way more guns in each slot i find that **** like its super **** easy to program bro
    Im seriously thinking of just playing gta online due to how **** embarrassing the remastered trilogy is and we all know how **** chaotic that **** is

    Preordered on ps5 but played horrible in terms of performance and got my refund luckily. Shouldn’t have fps problems when the game cost the same price as a full fledged new triple A title and isnt a full on remake from the ground up. Very little effort was put into the games and it shows.

    Pretty much what you’d expect but with prettier, more colourful cities. Unfortunately, while the environments look improved the character models are just too blocky and at worst, tragically odd looking. The gameplay is slightly smoother but then it had to be or we’d revert to the older cheaper versions.

They already made a port for mobile phones, ps 3 and xbox 360 and it was a failure, because they ruined some of the mechanics, animations. The second attempt also failed.     Grand Theft Auto III is one of the finest pieces of video game open world literature ever made when it first came out 20 years ago, and after 20 years later we finally got the GTA III: Trilogy remastered just in time for its 20 years anniversary and... it's nowhere close as masterful you might've thought it'll be. Sadly, this 20 year anniversary port has technical issues involvingGrand Theft Auto III is one of the finest pieces of video game open world literature ever made when it first came out 20 years ago, and after 20 years later we finally got the GTA III: Trilogy remastered just in time for its 20 years anniversary and... it's nowhere close as masterful you might've thought it'll be. Sadly, this 20 year anniversary port has technical issues involving gameplay, bugs, heavy rain, and typos on signs/billboards and of course endless amounts of frustration that involves the shooting mechanics. The gameplay features still feels exactly the same and fluid as the PS2 ports which is great. The graphics and upgraded textures with lighting and environmental upgrades is an incredible upgrade, but in terms of gameplay performance - the frame rate is just embarassing on PS5 after turning on performance mode. Everything else about this trilogy is a nice touch from porting the classic Renderware engine to Unreal Engine 5 after Rockstar merged with Epic Games after the success of Fortnite and I can see why Rockstar chose UE5 and I am indifferent about it. For those that are wondering about the OSTs for all three classic GTA titles, most songs are not affected as most of them got renewed in terms of licensing and I am glad most of the songs from GTA VC are still there. If I was being completely honest, this game needs a lot of patches to fix the gameplay presentation and they should bring back the classic control and aim shooting scheme from the PS2 era. As a lifelong fan of Rockstar Games, I am starting to worry about the future for Rockstar and I don't know if I can call this 20 year anniversary remaster a cash grab or not but I am starting to have doubts in them after one of the great veteran Rockstar leads left the company. And to be honest, GTA III: The Definitive Edition deserved better. Overall, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition is what I call a 20 year anniversary remaster that look superb thanks to the modern technology that brought the best out of the GTA3 trilogy, but it doesn't feel like a proper revamped Rockstar remaster we know anymore.… Expand
