    Rockstar Games has lost my confidence with Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Defective Edition. The overly cartoonish designs, most made by A.I., is an eyesore. The Unreal Engine conversion choice appears to be lazy. Frame drops, brand new bugs. This is not a game remaster worth playing let alone buying. Rockstar and T2 need to set some time to reevaluate what it is they're trying to achieve.

    The game itself could be really good, but it's the same game with upgraded graphics, all the old bugs are still in the game, and we even saw the new ones. Also one of the things why this remaster is bad, is the price, the price is dedicated for a full AAA game, but it's actually a remaster that could've been even done by a mods maker.     i hate this game. there are a lot of bugs, more than in cyberpunk. i think war drum studios or grove st games didn't try on their remaster. some of these bugs just crash your game!!! this project - spit to gta trilogy fans

    While the game should be improved and renewed, they made it worse :D fps drops, synchronization problem in dubbing and mouth movements, it crashes during the main mission... It's like they never tested their game.

The vegetation is beautiful, the rain it's ok but it is too exaggerated and it's buggy, the fov is removed and that it's sad and awful.. if there was a little fog so that only the city you were in could be seen, it was perfect.. but without the fov the game it's strange for me. The character models is pretty sad and disappointing.. for example look atFor sure it's not what we expected.     Vender estos juegos poco acabados es motivo de demanda; Colocarle brillo a los elementos del vídeo no lo hace definitivo, Aún así gracias al Game Pass jugué GTA San Andreas pero el mismo dia de descarga lo desinstalé, Y es que no hayan tocado las mecánicas jugando con esas mismas primitivas sumandole el tema de que empezó a llover y literal no se veía nada me decepcionó mucho.

The visual atmosphere is really missing in San Andreas. The performance is unstable, which is comical on PS5. Why can't we get a Native 4K, locked 60FPS on all 3 games.... which are Cell Phone Ports! Speaking of which.

    If you choose any of the 3 games and stand perfectly still in-game, there's no denying that the environments look 'better'. But that's where the improvements end. In motion, this game looks and plays like absolute trash.    This is one of the worst remasters I've ever played. Absolutely hilarious that they failed this miserably to slightly upscale a game that was released 20 years ago.

    If you choose any of the 3 games and stand perfectly still in-game, there's no denying that the environments look 'better'. But that's where the improvements end. In motion, this game looks and plays like absolute trash. You're not sure what's a bug/glitch or an actual in-game choice made by the devs half the time.

    Nothing about this collection is "definitive," and everyone should absolutely opt to play the OGs if the option exists for you.

    Grove Street Games, you absolutely suck. Rockstar Games, you're losing the respect of your fans at a pretty alarming rate. Please do not even remaster Red Dead Redemption or GTA IV. Those games are tremendous and don't need to be ruined. Thanks.    … Expand

    Habiendo jugado solo Gta 3, se hace tan frustrante depender tanísimo del azar para superar las misiones... El juego parece ir a doble velocidad, no tiene checkpoints, la conducción es regulera tirando a mala, los coches se incendian a la mínima, todo el mundo te ataca, los policias te embisten y es casi imposible acabar una misión si aparecen, no marcan los territorios en el mapa... O elHabiendo jugado solo Gta 3, se hace tan frustrante depender tanísimo del azar para superar las misiones... El juego parece ir a doble velocidad, no tiene checkpoints, la conducción es regulera tirando a mala, los coches se incendian a la mínima, todo el mundo te ataca, los policias te embisten y es casi imposible acabar una misión si aparecen, no marcan los territorios en el mapa... O el juego original era mucho más mediocre que los que vinieron después, o lo sobredificultearon para alargar la duración.

There is some positive in the game like checkpoints, weapon wheel, draw distance, and GPS but that is the only change. The game looks cartoony compared to GTA IV and V, it looks like a mobile version of the game. The game's rain is giving me headaches. The gameplay is still the same to no change, you can't aim while drive bying, even 2006 Saints Row has that as this made me appreciate Saints Row more than GTA SA IMO that was just a cash grab for Rockstar.… Expand

    0/10 Favourite teen years games are ruined. Asking full price for this is a crime. What was Rockstar thinking about releasing this?!
    Modders did a much better job at upgrading textures, faces, animation. This is a SHAME!

    The old GTA Trilogy was made by Rockstar with passion, you can tell they really put effort to make that game looks way ahead of its time back then.

    Rockstar lately became so lazy and ignorant, that's why they handed the "ReMAsTer" to those amateurs who really **** it up. Typos on buildings, characters look like from The Sims®, and a lot of things.     Don't buy this trilogy, its a mess, not even close to something what we experienced playing back in old days. So disappointed in Rockstar, why do you even considered to do remaster for this games? Who told you that its a good idea? This games was and are legendary in the way they were released and never required remaster, mods for this cases were more than enough. SHAME.

    After playing it some more time, I cannot believe the game was released with all of this issues. GTA 3 was by far the worst of the trilogy, there was bugs everywhere. Cars where exploding for no reason, animations were ugly and there was so many issues that simply made the game ugly.

    Do not buy this game for the following reasons:
    1. Crashes and bugs
    2. No regional prices
    3. Disgusting character models
    4. Disgusting gameplay
    5. High price
    6. Removed original games from stores
    7. Disrespect for GTA series fans
    8. No optimization

    We don't even have to talk about each part one by one.
    What is clear is that Rockstar only uses its name to make money. And it's really upsetting for me. I had very low expectations, which games even lower and weaker than them.

A moronic drawing in GTA Sa, which spoils the atmosphere and which cannot be changed, moronic models from the mobile version. It's easier to write what I liked. For example, in GTA SA, I liked the skins for passers-by, added various skins, graphics of course,The game is interesting for its past, but this game was spoiled to such an extent that you don't even want to go through the plot.     I have seen games on Dreams that look better than this so called “definitive” edition. Not only that but they also ask 60€ for the ps5 version, filled with glitches and errors all over the place. Modern warfare remastered is a remaster. This is not even close to a remaster it’s actually a downgrade at all fronts with the addition being new glitches. Not to mention that a billion dollarI have seen games on Dreams that look better than this so called “definitive” edition.     From the Definitive Edition of the iconic GTA titles emerged a technically unfinished remaster, which remained halfway. The content is and will always remain timeless, but the way to get to it and to enjoy it is simply not good.
