    Cannot play single player offline when they decide to take the servers off. What even is the point of buying this? This is even besides the in race rewards being nerfed, and fed back to you as mtx. NO thank you, PD.

    Always online Internet requirement for the single-player career element of the game is a crazy, crazy decision. Even the online-orientated open-world playground that is Forza Horizon 5 has a fully-fledged offline mode you can play. The current 24 hour+ "server maintenance" downtime is an absolute joke, particularly on a £70 game that I have precisely zero interest in going online with. AddAlways online Internet requirement for the single-player career element of the game is a crazy, crazy decision. Even the online-orientated open-world playground that is Forza Horizon 5 has a fully-fledged offline mode you can play. The current 24 hour+ "server maintenance" downtime is an absolute joke, particularly on a £70 game that I have precisely zero interest in going online with. Add to the mix the predatory, stupendously over-priced microtransactions, and the indication that Polyphony are now nerfing credit payouts in popular races to encourage more players to spend over the odds to unlock content in a full-price game, and I'm done.

    A real shame, because what's here is a good game. When it works. It's just ruined by anti-consumer business practices and Sony-backed greed. Avoid like the plague if you're still on the fence.    … Expand

    The game is really short, the campaign doesn't have a lot of races to actually do. Menu books give away any surprises. There's not much "Racing" involved since it starts you so far back, you just blow by all AI cars to try to catch the leader far in front of you. Assist are garbage and you will always be turning them on/off. Online is lame, feels dated. No new cars since GT Sport came out,The game is really short, the campaign doesn't have a lot of races to actually do. Menu books give away any surprises.     Que un juego en el que la amplia totalidad de éste sea offline necesites estar conectado online para jugar... no creo que hay mucho más que decir. Esperemos que Polophony recule y piense más en sus jugadores que en la cartera de sus jugadores.

Where GT7 falls flat on its face is the grind and severe lack of reward for buying cars in what is meant be a car collecting game. I will rate this game 90+% as soon as these race rewards and payouts are addressed. To even buy 1 rare car could take 2 weeks of grinding. To make matters worse the developers needed the races being used to grind cash in a pure money grab to try and get users to pay for credits. Katz I love your games but this micro transaction drive on something I paid 150aud for is a joke… Expand

    Disgusting, predatory and anti-consumer practices. It's beyond words how disappointing this is for what was for decades the greatest racing series available. I hope there is a day where we can play offline without any microtransactions but the reputational damage being done right now feels equivalent to the death of a family member. Trust is easily lost and difficult to win back.

    Microtransactions and greed have wrecked this game. When a set of race tyres cost more then what you win for first place, it takes away alot of the satisfaction. Be prepared to play for hundreds of hours if you want anything but the most basic cars. Such an absolute shame

    There are many things I like in this game, I finished all licenses, cafe and missions on gold medals, there is good sountrack and I generally enjoyed the game, but what I do not enjoy is that that after I finished all things I mentioned above, my balance is 350k credits. Why? Because for every stupid race I have to tune my car, buy many types of tyres and it costs so much money.     Driving alone it the best in the series but the broken economy with focus on micro transactions (even more with patch 1.08) with fomo on top on that( the way legendary car market is designed). It's the gt with the lowest payouts in the series to date.

    Upd. Patch 1.07 makes you grind even more, because it halfs the reward for winning race.

    Was really looking forward to this game. I didn't expect micro transactions to play such a big role. And the mini roulette game should require an "Adult" ES-RB rating. I am going to put the game aside until those micro-transactions are removed. I paid 80 EUR for this and am not willing to invest one more cent to support micro-transactions. Definitely my last pre-order for Polyphony Digital games.

    Good game ruined by online DRM and microtransaction system which, for example, prevents you from selling any car. For me it's unacceptable in a single player game. It's also disgusting that they introduced microtransactions AFTER reviews - as a GT fan I'm deeply wounded.

    Los motivos son los mismos que todos conocemos:
    1 - Mas de 30 horas sin poder jugar a los dos días de comprarlo por culpa de un sistema que favorece al que piratea y castiga a quien gasta entre 70 y 100 euros por un juego en su lanzamiento. Lejos de agradecer el apoyo que damos al juego comprándolo ahora, este te recompensa imponiendo una política de conexión online permanente que afecta hasta el modo campaña individual, impidiéndote jugar en caso de que los servidores se caigan (como fue el caso).
    2 - Un sistema de juego que implementa unos micro-pagos tan agresivos que te "obliga" a pasar por el aro si no quieres morirte del asco repitiendo la misma carrera 300 veces hasta alcanzar los créditos necesarios para poder avanzar sin dejarte media vida jugando. Se nota la dificultad artificial implementada de forma maquiavélica para que los que no pueden permitirse dejarse 3 mil horas para disfrutar del juego completo.

    Resumiendo: una jugada muy sucia que se ha visto reflejadas en las notas y desde luego se vera reflejado en posteriores compras de esta compañía. Por mi parte intentaré disfrutar del juego lo poco que me permita y acabaré mal-vendiendolo en cuanto pueda.    … Expand

    That's a shame. I think a lot of people will be abandon GT Series after that.

    Great game, with microtransactions at first, which was understandable since most people work and don't have that much time to play.

    ...But they screwed up with the latest update. It's now a grindfest. Shame that i got the game two days before the last update, went from a 10/10 to regretting the buy.

    Game is unplayable. Like for real. You can’t play. Game is Online only and they have taken it offline for too long without any transparency. They made it even harder to get cars by lowering winning payouts. A car literally costs around $40 real money when in GT sport they were a couple dollars.

    Started out great then I reach end game and they patch out all the high credit rewards, if I want a 2 million credit card pay $40 or play for 20 hours, the 5 hours grind tracks and races replaced with 50% less and 70% less rewards forcing players who paid $70 for a game to buy cars. Avoid playing. This game is made bad to get you to buy credits and it will only get worse every patch.

    Won't let you play and the connections to the servers are spotty at best.
    I love when I am in the middle of a race and I get an hourglass and then get returned to the main screen for no reason...well, those were a good number of long laps for nothing.
    I guess I will be going back to Forza Horizon 5 again but I already beat that so now what?

    The game honestly started out great, but the flaws quickly came to light. Online only, meaning if/WHEN the servers go down you can't do anything. Additionally, they reduced how much you make from races, then say they don't want plays to have to repeat the same race over and over to get money...leaving just microtransations. Don't waste your time or money on this, get Game Pass and buy Forza.

    Game is fun, but daily workouts with minimal price on rulet are so bad. Every time you get the lowest price. Buy to win part of game is silly. After more then 30+ hour game was down and nothing from Sony or Poly, not even sorry.... Every other game do much better. Disappointed!

Grinding for that amount of credits in game will take many hours of the same boring events on repeat. The recent patch (1.07) only made grinding money in the game harder by lowering pay outs even more. Sony wants you to spend real money on credits. But even here the prices are absurd. A 12 million credit car translates to roughly 120 Dollars - and that's for a SINGLE car. To make matters worse, the game has many FOMO systems that try to push you to spend money quickly. Several of the cars in the game can only be obtained for a limited time, either because the shop's stock rotates or because you got an "invitation" to buy a car that has an expiry date. So you often have only a day to buy that 5 million credits car you want, leaving you with three equally unattractive options:
    1) Spend the entire rest of the day slaving away and trying to grind the money for 9 hours straight only to perhaps not make it in time after all
    2) spend 50 real Dollars to buy the car instantly
    3) wait weeks or months until the car goes on sale again

    This is by far the most predatory microtransaction system I've ever seen in a non-mobile game and Sony should be ashamed.    … Expand

    Been playing since GT1 but this has turned into a sh*t show!

    -Nerfed payments
    -Can't sell vehicles
    -Ongoing maintenance
    -Cant play while offline

    Polyphony Digital used be associated with quality and they had my trust that they would do right by the customer, not any more sadly.

    bought deluxe edition because i thought i could enjoy the content offline as in gt sport, not the case, unlike gt sport you cannot race your cars you have purchased offline, just a very limited selection of cars the developer has picked, disgusted to see such regression in a first party title, shame on you polyphany.....

    The game's quite good, but gets a 0 by default for its frustrating always online requirement that blatantly serves no purpose other than DRM for the microtransactions. I'll be keeping a very close eye on GT Sport, and if they shut down those servers without patching that game to function offline, I'll be immediately selling my copy of GT7 while it still has some value other than as a coaster.

It is virtually impossible to purchase the top cars with credits which means you need to purchase them with real money at $20-$40 for each car!!! What a greedy cash grab!     I had put about 25-30 hours into GT7 from launch until the recent update where they destroyed payouts, making it totally unrealistic to keep buying any worth while cars without paying for in gain credits. On an already full prices games. For example A custom 24 hour race in GT7 will payout around 250,000 Cr.
    The same in GT sport bagged you around 7,000,000.

    I'm sticking with pc when it comes to driving Sims. That or maybe get and xbox finally. I've been wanting to play forza horizon and would like to try it and gamepass as well. This game has pushed me over the edge. It's time to upgrade to xbox and pc.    … Expand

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
