    Game is amazing, microtransactions suck but this is just pathetic, doesnt deserve this bad of a review cause of a thing they will fix with simple social media backlash. Microtransactions are also optional, whats the fun in a game where you dont have to grind to unlock new things, if you got everything for free right away that would be insanenly boring

I think most people are review bombing this game for the wrong reasons , I preordered this game and have been excited for it since it was announced way back when,and have been playing it since launch ,and yes I was disappointed when the game was “Under Maintenance” for over 30 hrs but I understood the reasons behind it, as far as the gameplay goes I think it’s the best racing game ever created( a Masterpiece, if you will),I have already put in over 100 hrs since launch , I’m addicted to everything from the racing , menu books, customization, tuning , saving up for “Legendary Cars, etc.,and the developers have a lot more planned for those that are mature enough to stick with it,as far as “Grinding for Credits goes , I believe there’s enough variety here already not to have to keep racing the same high payout tracks over&over again and finally the “Micro-transactions are what most people aren’t angry about and in my opinion that’s understandable, but no one is forcing you to buy into them, it’s a choice ,one that I choose to never participate in, the fact the game is always online is starting to be a trend in video games as a whole , and like it or not , everybody should just get used to it , Sony isn’t budging!Thanks for reading , GodBless… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Actually the best racing game I have played in years. Beautiful graphics and a handling model wich is realistic, but also good for beginners. GT Café offers a great look into the history of manufacturers, cars and race series. Though legendary cars might be difficult to obtain for people that don’t have a lot of time, the grinding is something that always played a role in the history of GT games. The online service is not at its best yet, but soon that might be the perfect place for racing leagues.… Expand

If any of you have ever played a previous GT game you'd know it takes time and effort to buy the most rare cars in the game, but everyone expects everything to be handed to them nowadays.     Love cars and love the way the game progresses through from the cafe to themed races. Realism is at the top level. Have not found a fault yet.

    There‘s a song missing in the Track list: „Greed drives me wild“ by German Band „Blitzz“. But seriously: It‘s a shame how a fantastic game was ruined by greedy business people. If it was a free to play game, everything would be fine. But i paid 80 Euro (about 88 USD) for this!

    Just about finished the game, not once have I purchased ingame credits because as the game is intended to play you gain everything you need to finish the game just by following the licenses and cafe menu books. Everyone complaining about ingame purchases clearly haven’t actually played the game. Just jumped on the band wagon on trash talking about **** they don’t understand. I have enjoyed this game more than any other modern grid racing game and see it as a noble and high achieving revisit to the original gran turismo 4 which epitomized the GT brand in my opinion.     Polyphony changed its policy towards MT since you can now decently earn credit. So I change my note. Still the game needs more solo content (more competitions).

    I don't know what all the hub bub is about. This game is addictive and so much fun! Highly recommend. If you don't like "microtransactions" then simply don't use the option, sheesh. I can see Polyphony put a lot of love into this game.

    GT7 is excellent. To all the review bombs... Dude it was down for part of a day and the microtransactions aren't shoved down your throat. Get over yourselves and enjoy the game. Graphics and gameplay is amazing.

    This game deserved the harsh criticism for its poor economy and micro transactions. However, the latest update 1.11 does remedy alot of my complaints. Game is the best sim experience with a steering when on console!

    After the 25th March update, including the generous 1m credit pack for everyone, happy to give this game a 10. Just like the GT experience we all know and love, only with next gen graphics and an even more refined driving experience.

    It's really fun and High quality.The cars are good and the prices and reasonable.most of the cars are free, which is awesome and the money from the races and championships is much.its very ez to buy the card when u play this repeatedly!     Personally the game is pure joy to play, good mehanics, good graphics with great details on the car and overall nice design of game.
    I'm glad that they put tuning and customisation back and with that they bought me immediatly.

    Yo e seguido la saga desde sus inicios y. Mi última referencia es el gt6 y puedo decir que el 7 a pesar de todas la críticas es un juego de.largo aliento,se las intenciones que quisieron transmitir de que esto no fuera un juego de un día y ya ,si evidente falta corregir muchas cosas pero ái paso con GT SPORT ,para mí juegazo

    The game was always great. Gt always took hours to get the very most expensive car. What gr1 cars are only 1million. That was 20 races 2hours around only. I'm 33 but I didn't jump on the hate wagon. All these grown men giving it a zero pathetic.

    This game is the best gran turismo i have played so far. It has many cars to collect, a fun campign like cafe menu to play through, fun missions and licenses. The on-line mode is fun to play on. You can play this game perfectly fine without using micro transactions like any other gran turismo game. I have play for 50+ hours so far and have gotten through the game and am buying plenty ofThis game is the best gran turismo i have played so far.     It’s a well put together GT game, I can tell the devs took their time. The driving is a perfected evolution of old GT titles. The game expands much wider than previous releases and brings way more. To bombard this game with hate centering around reward payouts and how you can’t purchase the most expensive cars right away, is a mistreatment this game does not deserve.     so fun, feels a little more forgiving than past games, so kinda arcadey but loads of fun, I'm racing all the time i can get in and the AI can be challenging and testy, amazing car graphics, obviously environments are lacking in detail and fidelity but that's gran turismo for ya what u expect it ain't gta but that great lighting in the game helps, use it with a wheel and let er rip

    Best racing game to date. The issue that got everyone to put reviews is the game was down for a day because some issues with an update that went wrong...during an earthquake. Though there wer plenty of issues with the update itself. They are fixing everything they messed up in that update as well as well as some other things people did not like or thought were missing in the next update.Best racing game to date.     Having played several Need for Speed games, and a few other racing games, Gran Turismo 7 is my first racing sim. I was very impressed by the realism, ridiculously high detail, and overall gaming experience, especially on PS5 outputting 4k 60Hz. The photo mode absolutely sick. Easily gets a 10/10 from me.

    Its an evolution, not a revolution from GT Sports but its a great game on its own rights. Micro transactions dont really get in the way of gameplay. All new AAA games are way too expensive but if you wait you can catch it on sale for real VFM

    Best racing game so far. Visual graphic next level with RT turned on. To those who are crying about credits, start playing instead of crying. This is Gran Turismo, where you have to work if you want any better car. Nothing should come easy.

    I love Gran Turismo. GT1 was my first ever video game when I was 6 years old. 22 years have passed and my love for it hasn't changed. There may be some ups and downs, I hope people will give the game a second chance.

I haven't been forced to repeat any races to earn more credits or pay for any extra credits - I was expecting more of a grind to reflect a real life driving career. The licence challenges areOutsourcing graphics, plus a refreshingly challenging single player game. Physics are closer to real racing than before, especially when combined with a wheel and pedals, a step up from GT Sport! I haven't been forced to repeat any races to earn more credits or pay for any extra credits - I was expecting more of a grind to reflect a real life driving career.     The greatest GT game of all, and I've been in love with GT since the first one. This is epic, and in my opinion the drama around the update was over blown. Barely noticed any difference! Amazing, amazing, amazing

    Amazing game from a driving perspective,still a work in progress,but in the right direction.
    Patch 1.10 will come in a few days and should solve all economy-related issues and add more events.
    Haters are doing its thing but they forget to tell when Polyphony does something right,they only talk about the wrong

    Para mí, el modo campaña de GT 2 siempre será el mejor y lo guardo en mi corazón.     Le pongo un 10 para promediar el review bombing injusto. Si bien se tomaron decisiones creativas que no fueron acertadas están escuchando a la comunidad y parece que van hacia un camino en el que la comunidad sea quien forme el producto y eso es notable también.

    Mi nota verdadera es un 8.5, más que nada porque la selección de música durante las carreras no me termina de convencer (ojo, las del lobby están muy bien) y por otro problema importante que a estas alturas me parece que GT no debería tener: las texturas de los circuitos. Siempre GT tuvo este problema y es que los circuitos tienen texturas de la generación anterior. No se ven mal, pero cuando las comparás con otros juegos que incluso son de mundo abierto (ej: Forza) te das cuenta de que se quedan muy atrás, lo mismo pasa con las luces sobre los entornos y los modelados en general salvo en las repeticiones que en PS5 se ven bastante bien, pero aún sin Ray Tracing otros juegos obtienen mejores resultados gráficamente.    … Expand

    The Gran Turismo 7 has more than 25 years of story, in this case the creator has a emotion relation with his game. There's a lot of buzz about the microtransactions, but i think PD has responded fast about the issue before to complete ruin his future. Very good game physichs for a simcade game, very good story mode and good online platform.

    Y'all are way too entitled. The game is amazing and obviously y'all don't know what a sim game is suppose be like. There was always grinding Gran Turismo and the ppl complaining about buying cars with real money, guess what u can play the game fine without spending a dime, u just got to work for it. Go play Forza or another arcade racer if u want it to be easy and less grindy

    Fantastic game, sad to see people review bombing it because they can't have a 18 mil right away unless they do microtrans. And it's annoying that people want to win every race and it to be so easy like Forza. The gameplay is fantastic, the graphics and details are stunning. If your a fan of GT this game doesn't disappoint.

    They actually listen to the players. Fixed alot of payouts so now it is actually possible to buy some of the more expensive cars without paying for microtransactions.

    The game ist just perfect. Graphics are incredible, its a lot of fun and everything is just on point. The new update just dropped and they fixed EVERYTHING and people are getting up to 50+ mio Credits because of the Tracks they did before the update. The rewards are now fantastic. BUY IT, PLAY IT, ENJOY IT!! Greetingz

    After 1.11 update they fixed the game economy and the mtx became useless. Although this should have been the case from the start but at least they heard the players. The only issue now is the ALWAYS ONLINE.

    But for me even before that it was greatest racing game ever created. The attention to detail on cars is just breathtaking. No other game offered such a details and love towards cars and car culture! I am really shocked.... Every car sounds good, some worse some better but in general, sounds are great in this game. Sounds of turbo, superchargers. exhaust pops, antilag, wind, transmission.... Just wow... Also every aftermarket exhaust and collectors change the sound note of your car.. Things like rear wheel steering in for ex.GT3 RS are there and they work.
    Every nut and bold, also the chassis, is modeled to the maximum level of detail currently available on consoles. They also went so deep and recreated realistic car paints with corresponding names.
    Another amazing thing is that cars spit fire from exhaust in a very realistic way (It was never done before!)
    Tracks are also really good with some exceptions. But details of tracks and whole lighting/weather is just new quality.

    Of course this game has some flaws, but. to me this attention to detail, today, in this world full of mediocrity, is just simply unheard of . That's why it deserves a 10.

    There was a time that I liked also Forza games ( till Motorsport 4) until they became " fortnite like " games for kids or just for people without any passion towards cars In new forza titles you are constantly bombarded with prizes and free cars, you get money for nothing, and you start with supercars, so you loose all the feeling of progression from very beginning of game. On some cars IN FORZA they just copy and paste sounds from car to car, whereas on GT7 they treat every car individually. Also in a lot of cars in forza they JUST DON'T CARE ABOUT CAR DESIGN, what I mean by that: take Mercedes AMG GT. In forza they just copy front rims and paste them as rear rims. And in reality Front and rear rims on this car have different depth and geometry. Because of things like that, they show they don't care. All they want is to fill your mouth with low quality car models, no details, illusion of good graphics and constant prizes and money for pressing one button ... Forza kind of simulates socialism xD You get money for breathing.

    That's why Gran Turismo 7 and PD in general is so precious and so good. Because they show THEY CARE about car culture, car design, and car enthusiast. I don't care about microtransactions. If you are stupid you will end up buying digital cars in a game. That's it.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
