Despite some growing pains I still feel were massively overstated (they never really push the mtx at all, enough money for every car you'll ever need is easy to come by if you put any effort into actually learning to drive), this game has become one of the best racers ever made. Certainly the greatest simcade experience (leaning pretty heavily into bhe sim these days, but still very playable with a controller). The new VR2 mode is a revelation also. Sim racing is blessed at the moment, now we just need a return of arcade racers that don't feel like ****… Expand

    Another masterpiece by Playstation studios, this time Polyphony Digital, has raised the bar for customization and single-player career mode in racing games, not to mention the amazing multiplayer brought from GT Sport. Must buy for PS users.

    After first patch 1.0.6 One week after release i cant resume my caffee missions becase the game always crashing when i finish a race ...

    After patch 1.0.7 Two weeks after release the servers are down days and can still not play the game.

    Also really pay to win or massive grinding game

    EDIT: now with 1.11 Patch all my problems are fixed and can enjoy the game
    Rewards are much higher now

    this is one of the best if not the best racing games on the market, it's a game made for fans of cars, it seems like the devs themselves like car's racing, the game even teachs you about the history of cars.

    First off, I wanna say that I’m reviewing the game after the latest update as of the date of this review. I have played the game for about a week with my Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro racing wheel. However, I have found the duel sense features to also be robust and provide a great deal of feel to driving in this game. I can understand people’s initial frustration before Polyphony Digital released an update in response. As of now though, I think that this game is absolutely phenomenal. The rewards have been increased and now it feels possible to progress without feeling like you have to buy micro transactions. My only complaint is the fact that most of the game is locked behind being always online. However, I understand that this is to maintain the integrity of the leaderboards. Everything about this game is otherwise fantastic. I have not had this much fun in years. The physics of the cars and graphical details alone are simply astounding. The single player provides endless hours of racing exhilaration. The multiplayer will also continue to provide even more hours of fun for the bright future of this game. There is just so much to do and discover in this game. You can tell that the developers have an appreciation for cars and their history.… Expand

    Don't listen to those who complain because clearly they lack the patience and appreciation to this game, the little details that the Devs paid attention to are amazing and it's a great racing sim. I love how hard it is to earn your dream car and how much effort you have to put in order get the money.

    This game has amazing physics. There are very few bugs or frame rate issues, the game looks amazing. The dynamic weather is awesome and adds a new layer to the game.

    I have a playstation 5 and I played this game so I know what I'm talking about, I'm not a mere envious boxer who came here to give a low rating, this game is fantastic, a delight to play and enjoy the beautiful images of the scenarios, the cars are very good made the races well contested the physics is insanely good no wonder it's the best racing simulator there is, very good to be a real gamer.

    Amazing! Really fun, this is an RPG but with cars, the progression is awesome and you really enjoy earning new cars. This an awesome driving simulator and a really really great driving game.

    Of course, how many bad things are written about the game here, horror! I've been playing for 50-70 hours and I like everything, of course there are a couple of quibbles about buying paint for a car and for work games without the Internet, but it's not worth it that the rating of this game was 2.0

    Flawless gaming experience. Speed sensation is well simulated. Huge amount of cars and tracks. Learning curve well adapted. Don´t pay attention to MS bots :) enjoy this masterpiece.

    Launch was a bit rough but this game is very enjoyable. I really like the automotive history and sheer volume of cars to collect. Polyphony is addressing early concerns and within a month or two i honestly think it will be nearly fixed. People have stupid expectations these days... Geez compared to some of the crap out there this game is amazing.

    This is the best Gran Turismo since ages

    A lot of features and modes. Stunning visuals !
    And the DualSense if you don't play with a steering wheel is absolutly fantastic

    It's been a very long time since i got real fun to play sim race game and I can't stop playing this one

    Me gusta mucho este gran turismo en todos los sentidos, siento que hacía falta un gran turismo como los primeros que sea así de adictivo, y este tiene todo para ser una joya en la categoría de carreras .
    Tenía dudas en las gráficas porque mucha gente se quejaba pero son buenas muy buenas , sin duda es un gran juego mal calificado

    look they missed the mark in a lot of aspects, but it was clear its because they were investing everything in to VR.

    This game is absolutely exquisite. People saying that it's anything other than amazing our fooling themselves. The game isn't for everyone but it is left open for a much wider range of players. I had to give this a 10 out of 10 because of the amount of stupid reviews that are present here. Anything under a seven is just shenanigans. Fanboys need to stop being so childish!

    I am very excited about GT7. The graphics are really very nice. The sound is fantastic via the "Sony Puls3D" and the haptic feedback of the DualSense really gives you a mega feeling. Forza Horizon 5 is cornered by GT7. The only thing I don't like is that you are forced to "collect cars" in the garage and cannot sell or delete individual items. Nevertheless, GT7 is a mega game.

    Gran turismo 7 is a great game. It brings me back to the greatestnes of a full fledged numbered GT7, that we had with the likes 9f GT7. The new gameplay physics are also a nice improvement.

    The downside from what I can see is that Russian barbars have attacked Ukraine and are destroying their cities and killing civilians, therefore some of the reviews here are crying russians who give the game 0 score.

    I wish that metacritic would restrict the access for users from Russia at least until they stop their war in Ukraine and retreat. Also wish that metacritic could clean up their comments so that we would have a clean score calculated based on the reviews from the civilised world.    … Expand

    Very great game. You're not even forced to buy ingame credits. If everything would be cheap in the game than it wouldn't be fun to play anymore after a month. In this way people just have to keep on grinding.

The funnest aspect is to try and win races with your favorite car (in my case my own car). This game is really for people who like racing.     PSVR2 makes GT7 a whole new game. While I was really disappointed about the first days and weeks when this game was released, it now is my most favourite game ever. The immersion is massive, in my opinion it is worth buying the PSVR2 only because of this game.

    One Ukrainian guy here, come to say this game is amazing! one of the best gameplay experiences i ever had, with extremely deep details everywhere you put attention. This pretty much recalled me a lot of memories from my childhood. In case you can’t have it because your leader is in rush against a pacific nation, maybe you should consider to get a new leader. To everyone else, it’s a must play.

    Gave it a 0 at first for their MTX stuff but after they fixed it it’s 100% better. Thank you PD for listening to your fans, don’t do this ever again. On the other hand, the game itself is fantastic honestly, I can’t stop playing it, true definition of addiction.

    Absolute Referenz für mich in Sachen Grafik!
    Und man bekommt hier nicht wie bei der Konkurrenz aller 2 Minuten 10 Autos die schon über 800ps haben innerhalb der ersten menüclicks.
    Hier muss man sich noch anstrengen um alles auf Gold holen zu können/wollen.

    Gráfico fantástico, nunca vi efeitos de iluminação tão bons. Muitas pistas, muitos carros, modo campanha robusto, modo pra tirar a carteira de motorista, modo online competitivo igual ao GT Sport. Isso sim é Gran Turismo!

    GT non delude mai. Bella la revisione vecchio stile GT della parte offline che è più godibile che in GTSport. Riguardo le micro transazioni, c'erano anche in GT Sport, non capisco tutto questo astio visto che si può benissimo proseguire il gioco senza utilizzarle. (Il gioco dà abbastanza crediti gareggiando).
    La competizione online è sempre quella con qualche aggiunta di sfide a tempo. Adoro.

    Es un excelente juego de carreras, para los que le encanta el mundo de los autos pero que se les hacen muy pesados los simuladores este es su juego,el mejor Gran Turismo de todos, le pondría 9 pero lo doy 10 para compensar todos esos ceros injustificados.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
