    Thanks for listening to community input and fixing this beautiful game. Please update the roulette wheel - if the prize is predetermined (which it is) don’t bother with the wheel spin, it’s just wasting everyone’s time.
    GT7 is easily the best PS5 game released to date.

    I started 40 years ago in 1982 on Sinclair ZX Spectrum with Chequered Flag. My last 25 years went around GT. So far this is the best race sim I ever played on. I do not care about online problems and micro-transactions. Thanks a lot Kaz!

    This game is amazing in VR. It is packed with content and is top quality. My only issue is that it can be a grind to make money. This one game alone could keep you occupied for years. Brilliant.

    Je suis un grand fan de GT, mais ce qui ce passe actuellement je ne laisse pas passer.
    il faut laisser au joueur le plaisir de jouer et de farmer facilement si il le souhaite.
    le but est de collectionner de belles voitures, et ne de passer des millier d'heures pour se payer une clio.

    Great game as of v1.11 and shows that Polyphone understood they made a mistake and are rectifying it - in terms of gameplay and the current state of the game it is great and the game has a bright future ahead of it!

    Update: with the update promise I am updating my rating. If pd delivers these promises I will increase the score further more. Content update was the most crucial one.

    Looks like pd is listening !
    My biggest regret. I cannot be more disappointed. Microtransactions, limited menu career content. Stay away!!

    They fixed the issues related to low payment on races, and increased used car slots available, and added more missions quickly after complaints, at the current state of the game I would highly recommend

    With V1.07/V.1.08 cutting the payout by 50% in a already grindy game has killed the whole game so bad, you dont even want to play anymore...

    EDIT: PD has taken a Step back, bringing us an update that will raise payouts by around 100%. More events to come. This is a step in the right direction.     People complain too much for too little. Servers went down for maintenance for 1 day and all the internet comes to say b******.
    Game is awesome, and there is a lot of things to do.
    One point I agree, single player requires constant internet conection, but, a lot of other games requires too.....

    It's fixed now, and it's great. PD has vastly increased payouts thanks to backlash and now the game is back to its original brilliance.

    They listened, i have 1m credits as compensation for outage and alot more promises to fix thier issues, rare to see a game listen and respond so quickly, hope they fix playstation servicesin russia too

    Loving the game.
    Don't understand why people are now dropping bombs on this game because of microtransactions you don't need and the servers problems it had for ine dsy. This game deserves so much more love.
    Amazing game with great controls and gameplay.
    Looking forward to everything that is still to come.

    Amazing game! It has the looks of GT Sport and the gameplay of the classic GT classics. While you do need to be online to play the full game, long maintenance waits are rare. The gameplay has a new, refreshing concept.

    RESPECT our time.. I love GT but this is **** they're reducing payouts and pushing MTX. i was excited to get racing wheel bc the game itself is fantastic but everything around that is ruining the experience.
    -stop reducing payouts
    -stop pushing mtx down our throat
    -bring back selling our cars, this is a SIMULATION game. in IRL we can sell cars..
    -stop the rolling start BS, so annoying starting 19cars/40+sec behind so you just make your car OP and catch them quick to win by 30sec.. that is no fun at all and doesn't challenge anyone
    -make SINGLE PLAYER available OFFLINE

Alot of people in the GT7 Facebook group and in these reviews are so fixated on the microtransactions and always online aspect, but nobody is forcing you to buy credits, the in game economy (pricing and rewards) is much the same as it has always been and we connect most of our devices to "Always online" connections. I think players these days will findI think it's the best release yet.     Honesty, we haven't had a gran turismo game since the 6th instalment in like 2013, and although this game had its very buggy moments that lasted more than a day. I'm sure we can skip past that and just accept what we have and how great it is, with new cars, community favourite tracks and more. This game is worth the grind with its challenges and missions.

    Now post 1.07 it is very clear the direction    Base game is great (Cars, tracks, graphics, sound, physics, etc.). However, saw articles right off the bat about microtransactions and was initially concerned which nearly stopped me buying. However, reviews were convincing enough about the quality of the game and even though it was grindy it wasn't totally impossible to get some of the cars.

    Now post 1.07 it is very clear the direction this game is going in and it's extremely disheartening. Wish I had waited a few more weeks before pulling the trigger on this because nerfing payouts and increasing the focus on microtransactions is starting to ruin the game for me. The economy needs a complete overhaul. Until this changes think people need to stay away from this game altogether and very disappointed in Sony / PD.

    Update: I have updated my review to a 5/10 based on Polyphony's proposed show of faith. If they actually execute on it I would happily give this game a 10/10 and remove the negative components of my review above. I also encourage all users to do the same. For once, we have gotten a developer to listen to our feedback, so we had best reward them when they do so.

    2nd Update: Finally fixed the game economy for the time being. Updating my review to reflect this, but leaving the commentary above as a reminder.    … Expand

    It has everything I dreamed of gran turismo to become. Yes, it is grinding and seems unfair but the old games has always been grinding and I really feel that with this one, they nicely balanced things out. Or maybe I’m buyest on this one. I’ve always loved the Gran Turismo series and really been up to that grind on collecting the cars. IDK I like it

    Phenomenal game. It’s everything I ever expected and more. There are a few bugs I’ve noticed here and there, but nothing that prevents playtime & never interferes with the experience. It’s kept me absolutely glued to my TV since launch. As a car enthusiast, I appreciate everything about this game. Thank you to Kazunori Yamauchi for creating this masterpiece.

    Enjoyed in playing the game for an hour. Graphics and sound are good. Tokyo Express way is my favorite course because I'm Japanese and living in Tokyo.

    cars are too much expensive. If you want some good cars, you should pay more and more.
    Just a few cars can be over the price of the GT7 itself.
    And the maker is lying, they say they don't want to do repetitive work just to get cars but they reduced the credit you earn. They just want you to buy cars and pay more.

    The game is fantastic, maintenance happens and is certainly nothing to get twisted about. As for cutting he earnings rewards… so you have to play more of a great game, there are much worse things in life. Great game, great work.

The incredible weather and day/night simulation along with region specific weather and star constellations adds a level of immersion and fine detail. If your goal is collect every car then the MTX in this game make it almost impossible not to spend real money, BUT collecting was designed to be only a small aspect of the game. Racing m, learning tracks and finding the right balance between car and upgrades/mods, is what Gran Turismo 7, and every GT game, has always been about.… Expand

    If you enjoy circuit-based racing games and looking at beautifully modelled cars it really is a joy.     If you enjoy circuit-based racing games and looking at beautifully modelled cars it really is a joy. The graphics are not quite where I'd like them to be, it pays not to look too closely or you will see the occasional pop-in and some odd, almost stuttering, reflections on the cars. But when you're engrossed in a race, trying desperately to get that 3rd place to progress, you won't notice.

    I've not been playing for long, only got 30 cars or so. Two I won on the 'lottery', so although you often 'win' the lowest credit amount it does give you some nice rewards. I've yet to not be able to progress because I ran out of credits. You don't need every car and so far found you don't need to spend much on upgrades to be winning races.

    I'm sure it'll get harder and the credits will need to be spent wisely later on, but I really don't see a need to spend anything on MTX later. As for the always online? Well I am always online anyway, so I don't mind.

    Is it a 10/10 game? No, maybe 8.5/10?. Why did I rate it 10/10? To try and counter the ridiculous review bombing going on.

    Easily the best in the series. I'm very impressed with the new AI who will put up a real fight through corners on the harder difficulty now. Improved physics although still on the SImcade side but getting closer to PC sims :) Absolutely stunning graphics especially with the dynamic time and weather systems which were sadly missing in GTSport.     Feeling annoying after paying a high premium price for this game to find that they are very greedy by micro transactions to purchase cars of your choice. Silly amounts of credits are required to collect the cars you want. Unless you want to use the free cars that everyone else uses, update, glad they listened, so much more fun and a an awesome game.

    Definetly the best Motor Racing game I've played on a console.
    I've had every Gran Turismo and Forza and the game play, physics, graphics and information are amazing.
    People who rely on Microtransactions, deserve to pay a premium as it is effectively a cheat way.

    To be expected to pay in addition to a costly £70 game with very few race types per track, poor music and pay-to-play mechanics, its just so disappointing. I can live with few race types per track as I assume they will add those in the future - but to ask you to pay for more cars while nerfing the ability to earn credits to play and earn the cars is ridiculous. The graphics are the best in any game right now, adding weather effects and 24 hour lighting to all of the tracks just makes to world seem more alive. The tracks have always been the best designed for techincal racing IHMO and the online racing portion is by far the best in the industry. It's like an automotive theme park for real world cars in the most amazing tracks, and soon, hopefully, for the Vision Gran Turismo cars again. The level of attention to detail and perfection is really breathtaking.

    Amazing game haven’t enjoyed Gran Turismo this much since GT2. The beginning is a little slow but the game is incredible once you get going.

    Gran Turismo 7 tiene todo lo mejor que tuvo Gran Turismo Sport con respecto al Online y su modo competitivo, con todo lo mejor que ofrecieron los primeros GT en cuanto a campaña, no solo es el mejor simulador de autos en el mercado sino también de los mejores juegos de carros y en general uno de los mejores juegos que han aparecido en el mercado, vale completamente la pena.

    GT7 is a refreshing return to the series' roots, with the classic formula being melded with the engine advances between 5,6 & Sport to create the best console sim experience ever.

    Shame the discussion is being drowned out by snowflakes that want stuff handed to them easily.

    I just not buy in-game credits. I have no ploblem with the system.
    The game is, as same as all previous GT games, pro-legacy autos, pro-ICE cars, and pro-Japanese cars, but not big problems to me.

    Visually stunning on a PS5. Fan since GT1. Plenty of content to get the wheels rolling. Controller Haptics are nice if you don’t have a wheel but the DD Pro is worth purchasing for a sim like experience. Plenty of future updates coming just like GT Sport in that regard so review bombing this game is childish and these kids needs to grow up.

    Gran Turismo 7 isn't a departure, but rather a newer, shinier GT game. Its physics model is accurate, and while the racing can be formulaic it's always a giggle. The attempt at humanity is a bit cringe,the lack of up-to-date cars seems like an open goal missed

    Seems people forget the OG Gran Turismo's. If not for the grind, many would complain its too short.

    Great game, I haven't been asked to spend a penny yet. Put in the work, the best cars take time, thats part of the reward.

    My gf bought this game for me as a surprise. I really enjoy the game, but the reward is not enough to continue to get into it, then the maintaine took me lots of time to wait for it. It made me really sad and mad. If you want to buy the game, $60 is not worth it, plz wait for its discount.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]
