    Best racing game I've ever played! Graphics are crossgen, which is a bit annoying, but what they did with dualsense was unbelievable! You can feel the car! Thank you Sony!

    One of the best installements in the GT series. Driving feels awesome, specially from the first person perspective.
    A lot of tracks and cars, and many fun modes to play.
    Photo mode is one of the best features in the game, everyone should try it wether you like taking pictures or not. I’m not rating it a 10 because graphics look a bit outdated for the PS5.     If you like Racing and Cars, this is the best game out there. There is no comparable racing simulator period. The funnest aspect is to try and win races with your favorite car (in my case my own car). This game is really for people who like racing. Don't worry about the micro-transactions, there are really just a shortcut for people that want the cars quickly as you can earn the carsIf you like Racing and Cars, this is the best game out there.     The game is addicting, collecting, tuning, and racing my cars has kept me waiting anxiously to the end of the day so I can play more Gran Turismo 7, only complaint is the lack of more modern cars, aka: Tesla Model 3, Porsche Panamera, Aston Martin Vantage, Lucid Air, Mercedes Benz AMG Gt 4 door, Genesis G80, Kia Stinger, BMW M3, and of course more SUVs.

    I will give 10/10 if the always-On disappears, but as of now I can recommend the game.

    Also, the singleplayer needs always on connection to work, as does almost all the content. Your cars are only accessible online, even if bought with microtransactions (real money), they are not available if the servers are down or your internet is out.
    With a new patch, it is harder to earn cash, so you are being pushed towards microtransactions for the expenive cars (which apparently got more expensive)
    As of right now I can not recommend this, because it is completely unplayable. You will see an error message and the loading screen, that's it for me.
    To PD: Make the singleplayer and the garage etc. available and playable offline and stop the aggressive push to microtransactions. And fix the servers or at least tell the community whats up and for how long.
    Then I will give a better review!

    Sin duda es un juego en cual se intenta renovar tras ya más de 8 entregas qué ha tenido, se ve una clara evolución y lo que más me llama la atención es que no solo te mete a las carreras y ya, es un juego qué esta enfocado a enamorar a la gente nueva y deleitar a la que ya conoce el título con historia del automovilismo, si bien peca en calidad grafica, algo obvio ya qué sé hizo paraSin duda es un juego en cual se intenta renovar tras ya más de 8 entregas qué ha tenido, se ve una clara evolución y lo que más me llama la atención es que no solo te mete a las carreras y ya, es un juego qué esta enfocado a enamorar a la gente nueva y deleitar a la que ya conoce el título con historia del automovilismo, si bien peca en calidad grafica, algo obvio ya qué sé hizo para ps4/ps5, en las repeticiones, modo foto, café, se ve muy bien los modelado y renderizados, creo es un título qué vale la pena jugar, aunque como siempre ha sido, es un juego qué no todos disfrutarán, es un simulador, no un juego de carreras casual como burnout o need for sucede.… Expand

On the graphics side, I think they're utterly mind-blowing, you've never seen cars in a game with such a high level of detail. The sound design is top-notch, from car engines to the soundtrack everything feels and sounds great.     Gran Turismo es una gran entrega para la nueva generacion. Creo que de nada nos sirve compararlo con Horizon Forza 4 el cual es un gran tributo a Mexico con grandes graficas. En este caso hablando de Gran Turismo 7 es una enciclopedia virtual de vehiculos que ademas de ser divertido te enseña historia de las principales marcas de vehiculos asi como de los mismos vehiculos en una narrativaGran Turismo es una gran entrega para la nueva generacion. En este caso hablando de Gran Turismo 7 es una enciclopedia virtual de vehiculos que ademas de ser divertido te enseña historia de las principales marcas de vehiculos asi como de los mismos vehiculos en una narrativa progresiva y lineal la cual es una de las formas principales de ir avanzando en el juego. Al tratarse de esta manera su progresion, lo hace un juego de carreras diferente. Hablando de la musica cuenta con gran mezcla de musica de generos electronicos hasta musica clasica. El control Dual Sense funciona perfecto en donde cada bordo, choque o movimiento del vehiculo se siente. Si cuentas con una PLAY 4 o 5 te recomiendo que compres la edicion especial ya que cuenta con la version digital para el PS4 y en fisico para la PS5.     GT7 is excellent. To all the review bombs... Dude it was down for part of a day and the microtransactions aren't shoved down your throat. Get over yourselves and enjoy the game. Graphics and gameplay is amazing.

    Ignore all the hate, the main game is still an amazing experience start to finish - up a little short. With time the game will only get better and the credit payout will be adjusted. Yes you had to grind at first but I have never felt the need to use micro transactions. It's my game of the year and with recent update I will be playing online for years to come.     Well it's still the king of racing games on consoles, beautiful sound and visuals, great gameplay for casuals and for hardcore simulator fans.
    There are some microtransactions and late game cars are pretty expensive so you have to grind hard if you dont wanna spend extra cash.
    Ne ertheless if you sink in to the game you're gonna love it

    A very good game. The physics are challenging for new players and old players. It's a very adaptive game and a passion card for all the automobilsm fans. One of the bests race games i've ever played since GT4. I still cannot understand why somethings are off, like the original tracks and some cars, but, well, it can be added with updates in future.

    I like how the game gradually reveals all its trumps

    But now let´s look for cons. What I really dislike is car physics It´s not the worst but It´s definately not simulation, with all asistents off car is still trying to point the front of the car in the direction of travel what the... ?? Devs should definately set this feature as optional otherwise It seems very arcade.
    Also there is no clutch button on DualSense controller, pitty.
    Game is very varied, sometimes you will get photorealistic scenes and sometimes scenes which looks worse than in GT sport.

    It´s a pitty that more than 5 year old driveclub looks way better in bad weather scenes.

    Look I’ve been waiting years for this game, this is the first racer I would really classify as a true next gen racing game it’s drop dead gorgeous, incredibly fun and authentic, Gran Turismo 7 is the king of all racing games without any hesitation and deservedly gets a 10 from me

    Seems people forget the OG Gran Turismo's. If not for the grind, many would complain its too short.

    Great game, I haven't been asked to spend a penny yet. Put in the work, the best cars take time, thats part of the reward.

    The Gran Turismo 7 has more than 25 years of story, in this case the creator has a emotion relation with his game. There's a lot of buzz about the microtransactions, but i think PD has responded fast about the issue before to complete ruin his future. Very good game physichs for a simcade game, very good story mode and good online platform.

    This game is a masterpiece. I understand the frustration and controversy around MTX however Polyphony are addressing this and making adjustments based on feedback in the next update. This proves they listen and care about their community, this game does not the deserve the rating it has on this website.

    Great graphics, music and gameplay. I will be spending many hours on this over the years getting my best times. Loses a point for needing to be always online and the microtransactions, although that’s not as big a deal as people make out.

    Great game, just needs VR support and more (newer) cars and online drift leaderboards. Long time Gran Turismo fan here, and was not disappointed. Yes it is a bit of a grind fpr credits BUT this is offset by the fact that you a grind for credits but I think this is offset by the fact that you win cars top easily. Look forward to future updates of what is already a great game.

    This is an incredible game. It got off to a rough start, but they listened to their customers, and in my opinion, they got things straightened out. It’s the best racing sim that I’ve ever played and I’m confident that it’ll continue to get even better with future updates.

While there is no 'uber' neural networked AI to smash you yet, the AI itself is vastly improved and cars are constantly trying to overtake - however since its GT and you can tune your cars to be so much more powerful a lot of races can be made very unfair in your favour :)

    The weather effects and new physics model is    Don't be fooled by the haters, this game is excellent top to bottom. While there is no 'uber' neural networked AI to smash you yet, the AI itself is vastly improved and cars are constantly trying to overtake - however since its GT and you can tune your cars to be so much more powerful a lot of races can be made very unfair in your favour :)

    The weather effects and new physics model is just outstanding from a hardcore simulation sense driving this game with all the assists turned off is very close, and in some ways better than the best hardcore sims out there - this is not a joke, nor a exaggeration, when this comes to PC (please please please), this will be very much welcomed by those fans.

    Graphically, its a dream and due to its immaculate interior and exterior detail really can give you just a little slice of that feeling you get from actual car ownership.

    This game is absolutely exquisite. People saying that it's anything other than amazing our fooling themselves. The game isn't for everyone but it is left open for a much wider range of players. I had to give this a 10 out of 10 because of the amount of stupid reviews that are present here. Anything under a seven is just shenanigans. Fanboys need to stop being so childish!

Alot of people in the GT7 Facebook group and in these reviews are so fixated on the microtransactions and always online aspect, but nobody is forcing you to buy credits, the in game economy (pricing and rewards) is much the same as it has always been and we connect most of our devices to "Always online" connections.     I am a long time GT Fan and this is one of the best Racing games in have Played. Sorry Forza H5, someone just took over your spot. The Racing is Brilliant, it is Hard to master but accessible for anyone. The Haptics and Triggers are amazing and wouldn't play it without them. The Textures and Models of the cars are some of the best i have ever seen, you can barely tell the difference fromI am a long time GT Fan and this is one of the best Racing games in have Played. The inclusion of Dynamic Weather, Time and Stars is a great Addition and add to the experience.

    The Cafe Menus, the main part of the game is something different and is a good experience. Gaining so many cars with minimal work is great while getting up to 6 Million Credits for more cars.

    The Tuning makes a return and is better than ever. The Added Customisation is great too, adding various bumpers and wings adds that "your own Car" feel. The Updated Livery Editor is way better than GTSport and i love that i could import mine from there.

    The Music Rally is definitely weird, but gives me Ridge Racer vibes trying to beat the time. The Arcade mode is just an Arcade mode, and that is all it needs to be. the Custom Races are better than GTSport for sure thanks to the Weather and Day settings.

    The Pre-made races and Championships are fine, considering you will be playing these more than other modes.

    Licenses and Missions return and well, they are difficult, but if you can try and push past that and keep trying, they add to the GT7 experience.

    The Car list is better than GT Sport with new additions. There 3 ways to buy them (Used, Brand central and Legend Cars) and 3 ways to Earn them for free (Cafe Menus, Licenses and Daily Workouts). Legend Car dealer is for your more rare cars that can have a hefty price tag, the most expensive being 18.5 Million with others low as 100K. the Daily Workouts return and now include Tuning Parts, Credits and Cars. there is 6 tiers with the top tier giving you Cars worth 3 Million Credits, and credits in the Millions. the lowest Tier gets you 5K Credits as the lowest payout

    Now for MTX... they are only there to top up your Credits. 100% optional and not needed at all unless you are someone who has a gambling problem. This comes to Progression... It is fine for what it is. you can get 500K Credits in 1 hour, so to get the rarest most expensive car will take you about 37 Hours Racing time. You might see others Complain about the times... but each one is wrong with their Estimates say it will take you 4 Days playing time or more... when in reality less than 2 days...    … Expand

    Its a great game overall, they pretty much fixed the whole economi in the game, i think they were testing us, now it feels great and rewarding, tuning feels nice, big stepup in the physics from sport and it feels great on logitech g29, kinda short, but still beautifull and TOMS of informations about cars.

    The online only thing is a bit drag, and to be honest it is the only reason I'm not giving it a 10. The server downtime when 1.07 was released was a kick in the teeth, but it was working flawlessly for me prior and since.

    With regards to the micro transactions, while they are there, they are not presented in an invasive way (like your pointer doesn't default to click on it or anything) and although I don't like "pay to win"platforms, the easiest way around it (and to send the message) is to not support it.

    The in game grind isn't such a big issue, even since patch 1.08. I have mainly been sticking to the Trial Mountain Cup which is roughly 10 minutes, four laps of Trial Mountain and an easy win as there is no PP limit. Provided you race cleanly, you'll walk away with $100K every 10 minutes or so.

    Online seems to be great fun also, but there are some shocking drivers out there!

    The main issue however, is that I will never be able to actually own and race the cars that I want to. I have 1-2 hours a day to play GT, and to be able to afford e.g. the Mclaren F1, I would need to grind the same race over and over for 3 weeks after they nerfed the already low credits output. BUT the car is only available for a few days in the time limited legendary shop, so by the time I have enough credits, the car is unavailable again. So – how I am going to be able to drive the Mclaren F1 in the game I paid 80 bucks for? Microtransactions! 200 bucks of them! And that’s only 1 car. I would have to keep feeding them hundreds of dollars in microtransactions to actually play with the cars I want.

    There’s a lot of cars that I just want to buy so that I can tune them, make liveries, and photograph them in the scapes mode. But because of the insane grind to gain credits, I am reluctant to use the credits I actually do have. Even for cheap cars that I just want to fk around with. I can’t afford do that, as the in-game currency is too scarce to use them just for photo mode and making liveries.

    Make no mistake, I want the most expensive cars to be something you have to grind and work for. It’s just that the level of grind is too extreme, to the point that mtx is the only realistic way to obtain them. The broken economy in the game makes it really difficult to enjoy it, even though the driving itself feels good.

    Been a fan since GT1. GT Sport and its multiplayer focus pushed me away, but GT7 pulled me right back in with the focus on single player. I feel like i'm playing a better version of GT3 and i love it.

    I really enjoyed the game. The bugs and championships with fairly low rewards don't bother me to the point of being angry, I just have to spend a lot more time.

    However, GT 7 is incredible. The graphics are superb and the racing is absolutely brilliant and the most fun I’ve had on a racing sim for years. The attention to detail on the cars, reflections and circuits is astonishing.
    Now, a quick jump back to the original GT on the PS1. I remember spending literally DAYS grinding the game to save enough credits to buy certain cars. That’s the enjoyment of the game, or any game isn’t it? I want to race on a racing game, that’s kind of why I bought it? It’s no secret that all developers are using micro transactions in all types of games! Even a pre-order is a micro transaction dangling the carrot in front of people to pay a bit more to get a little extra. I’ve been playing GT 7 for over a week and have felt no need whatsoever to even consider buying credits for real money. The fact they are there does not annoy me in the slightest. The fact I can literally get every car in the game by playing the actual game is what I thought people realised when purchasing. For anyone really complaining just think about it, race cars, win races and grind for the credits. Don’t be upset because you can’t be bothered to grind and want to fast track but can’t because you don’t agree with the cost of micro transactions. The game is truly awesome for anyone reading these reviews. Ignore the majorly critical reviews or take it with a pinch of salt. ✌    … Expand

    This game was besieged with haters rating the game low because THEY didn't get everything THEY wanted in the game! I LOVE the game myself. Improvements are being made; bugs are being fixed and new content is being added. Plus Kaz reached out and explained to everyone what happened.

    For the sake of your game, I saved up and bought a ps3 and gt5-I played on an analog TV almost every day (amg school, Vettel Suzuka, Northern Loop and a lot of cars and stuff and stuff) and then gt6 -Senna-moon-stars sky, academy GT in silverstone!
    Later I bought a PS4 and GT sport-photo realism and super lighting seemed incredible at first!
    And so I wait and buy g29 and playseat and buy GT 7!!!
    Download, launch and after 4 hours you take away my game (which I bought and played) and for a week now I've been looking at the lock on the icon and how the game goes on YouTube!

    Easily the best in the series. I'm very impressed with the new AI who will put up a real fight through corners on the harder difficulty now. Improved physics although still on the SImcade side but getting closer to PC sims :) Absolutely stunning graphics especially with the dynamic time and weather systems which were sadly missing in GTSport.     Y'all are way too entitled. The game is amazing and obviously y'all don't know what a sim game is suppose be like. There was always grinding Gran Turismo and the ppl complaining about buying cars with real money, guess what u can play the game fine without spending a dime, u just got to work for it. Go play Forza or another arcade racer if u want it to be easy and less grindy

Play on a steering wheel preferably and then say that the game is not good ... impossible. PD fixed the blunder that made me this time the game economy was balanced. Gran Turismo 7 is getting better every day after the complaints made, many unfair and heavy but some really necessary and important so that the game doesn't become boring and tiring. Now all that's left is to remove the "always online" to make it perfect. But I will give the development team a 10 as an incentive, as I believe they are not primarily responsible for the forced and clumsy attempt to force microtransactions out of reality.… Expand

    Amazing racing simulator that’s great for both newbies and veterans. It’s got a real nice atmosphere so you’re pretty much chilling in between the exciting races. The car customisation is also easy to use with lots of features. The graphic options are the same. It was tricky to figure out how to get my photos out of the game. Nowhere did it say that you could use the website!

    We moaned, they listened, great game with plenty of tracks and cars to drive, this is the driving game i spend most my time on as there's plenty to keep you busy , even if it's just beating all your friends lap times

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]
