    Writing this review to redress the balance of all the knee jerk extreme negative scores on this site because of credits payouts being nerfed early on. The credits and pay out issue was corrected very quickly within the month of release, and the game as it is today should be judged as it is today. This is a driving sim, so the better you are the more you can earn the way it should always have been.

    Great visuals, hdr, sound and an excellent driving sim that keeps being supported with new cars added, new menu challenges added, new or alternative track layouts and regular weekly competitive online races that get changed up all the time.    … Expand

    I actually think GT7 is fantastic. There is a ton of content, I love the car RPG elements of the game, and they have been updating with new cars, tracks, and fixes all year. I haven't played a GT game since the PS3 era and it has been great getting back to one. The graphics are hit and miss, sometimes the game looks absolutely amazing and sometimes not so much.

    This is the first Gran Turismo I've played since Gran Turismo 2 on the Playstation 1.
    Short and clear. The game is phenomenal. The racing in this game is addictive and it's hard to tear yourself away from this game.
    Yes, the game has a few flaws. For example, bad tires when doing licensing so you can't get the gold trophy. The microtransactions don't really suit this game either.    This is the first Gran Turismo I've played since Gran Turismo 2 on the Playstation 1.

    This is absolutely the best franchise since Gran Turismo 4 on the PS2 despite the microtransaction controversy the game is much more challenging than past entries The physics feel very realistic akin to assetto crosa The cars, feels very lifelike and handle, like the real thing.     Game is almost perfect in terms of actual race simulation, campaign with menu system is soo good, tuning is absolute best. Online multiplayer is still a beast like GT Sport and will improve in future as more events and championships gets added. Day one tracks and cars roster is very promising and since it’s live service and will be supported 5 to 6 years. I will expect the cars and tracksGame is almost perfect in terms of actual race simulation, campaign with menu system is soo good, tuning is absolute best. Day one tracks and cars roster is very promising and since it’s live service and will be supported 5 to 6 years. I will expect the cars and tracks to go beyond 2/3rd of existing day 1. License tests and missions are still tougher and helps you teach all the techniques you need to master the racing. Dual sense integration is by far the best and it absolutely helps you in sensing the feel of track surface, braking and acceleration stress and 3d audio helps in finding opponents positioning. Dynamic weather with day to night cycle along with wet weather is the best of any racing games. Overall game is top notch. There will be more updates with better rewards for winning races, don’t piss the game devs since it’s almost perfect in many other ways. As for always online, I am okay with it since GT Sport also had it and Devs themselves told you need always online for the game. If people are still pissed, then they’re dumb enough to think before buying the game. Always online is needed in order for anticheating with tampering save files in Multiplayer especially as the game will be complaint with FIA GT championships, which is key aspect for it to be online only. So people just need to calm down and enjoy the game rather than complaining for 24/7 about the game. It’s going to even better from here with free content updates for next 5 to 6 yrs… Expand

    Gran turismo shows that it is a high quality racing game. The progression in the game is fun as you learn a lot about the history of the cars. The driving experience is realistic, the graphics of the cars top, graphics of the landscapes rather meh. Microtransactions have not bothered me yet, in other words I have never had to think about buying something with real money.

    The best racing game I've ever played. Excellent setting, a game that is chosen by people who like an honest simulation or a scary arcade. Basically, only people who can't drive and prefer to play bad games like the NFS and Forza series don't like this game.

    People are review bombing this game because of its always online status and bit of a grind to get expensive cars. I'm loving this masterpiece and while agree that some edges could be smoothed, this game is deserving of your time and purchase.

    Forza fanboys are meltingdown because they know that Forza could never achieve the same level of attention to detail as Gran Turismo dose.

    Un juego que se siente muy grande y abrumador la primera vez que lo juegas, y tal vez lo sea. Lo más importante, el gameplay es muy divertido y la manera en la que implementaron el uso de los gatillos adaptativos es única, ya no me veo jugando un juego de carreras que no use esta tecnología en los gatillos, esto hace toda la diferencia.

    Solid game!!, the game is better now than it launched. By far one of the best racing games out and is enhanced by the addition of VR and a Racing Wheel. I use the Logitech G29 and it’s the best. I highly recommend this game

    Recent updates (April 22) has helped a lot in fixing a number of things that made the game a chore to play in terms of earning money for cars as a result the game I can confidently say feels special and I would highly recommend it.    … Expand

But now lets talk about the game itself. And here i have to say, its a long time ago that i played a game that was so well done and made so much fun like gt7. Its hard and its challengy sometimes. But you can also just enjoy your car on the track if you want. And even when the game released as a service title, there is still a lot to do and there are so much cars that feel all so different from each other. I started playing gran turismo from gt4 and i have to say that gt7 is already my favorite of them. Sadly there is no ps5 to buy in europe and i am forced to play it on ps4. But it still looks and performs good on this old toaster.
    And if poliphony digital needs more money, just start to sell some franchise like shirts or hoodies or model cars. Or sell the game for more money only in the steelbook case. I totally understand that game development nowadays needs more ressources than back in the times of ps2. But keep the game great, because nowadays there arent a lot of good games anymore. And after patch 1.11, i believe that gt7 is going in the right direction. But if i am right or wrong, the future will show.    … Expand

I don’t understand all the review bomb it’s been getting due to microtransactions but many new games have been getting that we just have to get used to it and plus you don’t have to use microtransactions if you don’t want to.     Amazing racing game, the only thing that lets it down is the credit payout! Dualsense is really good for this game if you don’t have a wheel! Best racer I’ve played, FH5 was good but I prefer more realistic racing! Had some of the best online races I’ve ever had in GT7! Highly recommend, would be a 10 if credit payout was evened out and was abit higher! 9/10

    Loved it, a realistic game with great gameplay feedback.
    The graphic is outstanding and the cars are perfects.     Launch was a bit rough but this game is very enjoyable. I really like the automotive history and sheer volume of cars to collect. Polyphony is addressing early concerns and within a month or two i honestly think it will be nearly fixed. People have stupid expectations these days... Geez compared to some of the crap out there this game is amazing.

    Very great game. You're not even forced to buy ingame credits. If everything would be cheap in the game than it wouldn't be fun to play anymore after a month. In this way people just have to keep on grinding.

    This game is proof that you can never take the user review score serious. I understand the frustration but 1s and 0s? Grow up. The credit earn rate was fixed anyway so it’s not even an issue anymore lmao. It’s a fun racer and a return to form for gt. Don’t let the children reviewing on here discourage you from trying it out.

    It's a pretty good game in its current state. Being online only is a big con but it hasn't affected my experience with the game at all. Microtransactions are expensive but can be largely ignored. My main complaint is the lack of single player events on a lot of tracks (Mount Panorama, Monza, etc)

    O jogo é lindo! E no quesito simulador, não existe melhor jogo, é claro que as microtransações e a conexão com a internet o tempo todo foi um tanto quanto decepcionante, mas se consegue acumular créditos na jogatina e gastar como bem entender.

    Fantastic simulator and sequel. MUCH better than GT sport but I’m not much into the online portion. Enjoyed it on release but even better now after the patches

    I like the game! Actually it's one of the best racing games I've ever played. I drive with the Fanatec GT DD wheel and load cell brake. It's a pleasure for everyone who loves cars!
    Today they also fixed the credits issue!

Also notice how majority of those reviews created an account just for the sake of review bombing this specific game and another big portion gives 10s to several xbox games but 0s to all Sony games.     GT7 is an exceptional game for those that love sim racers. Very polish and fun to play.

    I haven't found a sim racer better than this, so if you like this type of games (like I do), go for it... you won't be disappointed.

    Its not a bad game. I am Level 18 with 1.5 Millions credits without buy any microtransaction. I have Lamborghini, Ferrari, Corvette that I win with race or buy in the game bank central. Yes at first you do 2 laps but when you increase your level you going to make race of 5 laps and up and you can custom race up to 200 laps at over 100K prizes. Se puede conseguir fácilmente más 200,000 créditos en algunos eventos.     Amazing game. Rough start due to microtransactions. They have since fixed a majority of the game's economy. Still needs to fix the online only issue. Either add to offline mode or remove online only altogether. Hopes are high for the future.

    Erste Klasse dieses Spiel! Klar hat es am anfang Probleme gegeben, aber wo gibt es die bei solch grossen Projekten nicht! Und die Hersteller haben auf die Fans gehört und viel verbessert und sie sogar immer noch dran das Spiel noch besser zu gestalten. Hut ab! Schade um die vielen negativ Bewertungen. Ich denke das ich noch viele Jahre spass dran haben werde!

    Best fun I’ve had on the PS5. Beautiful scenery, cars, livery…. Takes skill but the learning curve isn’t ridiculous. Love it!

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]
