    Although this game looks good, almost as good as Forza Horizon 5 to be fair it is really boring to play. GT7 is more similar in gameplay to Forza Motorsport than it is Horzon. Unfortunately GT7 does not have the detailed simulation side of FM7 or the open world fun of FH5 so this ends up as the worse of both worlds. If you don't have an Xbox or PC then this is the best driving gameAlthough this game looks good, almost as good as Forza Horizon 5 to be fair it is really boring to play. GT7 is more similar in gameplay to Forza Motorsport than it is Horzon.     Always online, pushed microtransactions...hours upon hours of grind to get ONE CAR.... This is coming from a person who does not like the Forza Horizon games where you get too much...     requires online connection to play single player. kicked me out of a single player tournament that i had invested 30 minutes into because of "server maintenance" this is ridiculous, i feel like i dont even own the game. regret spending 75 bucks , plenty of other racing games i could have bought instead.

    Je regrette mon achat. Les graphismes sont PRESQUE équivalent à Grand turismo sport sur PS4 pro. Les achats de voitures ont bondi! Sur les licences solo narrative Sony sont les meilleurs. Par contre sur jeux de voiture (Forza motorsport): la concurrence les exploses!

    Well, 80€ for a GT Sports copy with some basic fuctions. Short Soloplayer campaing, poor physicks. Thats not a real drive sim. If you guyd didnt buy it already, wait for a discount.

    I am a PlayStation fanboy and yet I am not satisfied by the game's graphics. Why is the game environment details as well as general graphics exactly like last GT game. These developers should have gone for a better looking game.

    I can’t make money fast enough to purchase the car I want, becomes it comes and go’s through a revolving door while I grind 10k a race. Ugh

    And there aren’t nearly enough ways to make any money of consequence.

    Forza is so loose and liberal with its gifts. Immediate, frequent, varied. How does Gran Turismo watch 5 iterations of Forza Horizon and think this product is okay. I feel like I’m scrounging under my couch to find enough loose change to purchase a pack of Oscar Meyer wieners. No one cared about sport. GT3-Spec was underwhelming. Whatever good will you once had with the community has been lost. Shame, shame, on your house. I wanted so bad to be loyal to you, because you came first after all. But you have forced my hand. If you love getting ripped off, while the person who's ripping you off does it with a grin and makes you feel like you're the luckiest person alive, then this game is for you.

    1- Few brand new cars to the series and tracks compared to GT Sport, we need more like: Porsche 918, Jag XJ220, EB110 SS, Mclaren P1, 720S, SF90 Stradale, 812 Superfast, Koenigsegg Agera, Chiron SS, Venon F5, Saleen S7 TT, Maserati MC12, Porsche 959, Cizeta V16T, Ruf CTR2, New V8 Vantage, New M3, New RS4 Avant, New C63 AMG Sedan, etc...

    2- Ai "Sophy" system it's totally Hardcore and unbalanced on the Gr.Series campaing events, they must turn down the Ai difficulty level -25% at least

    3- Making in game cash (credits) it´s a true grind, we need more cash gains and rewards to make the cars more obtainable as well the performance mods (without PAYING REAL EXTRA MONEY)

    4- Make us able to sell our cars again like in every other GT game

    5- Performance mods are too weak to the point that feels unrealistic, i know some cars in game that can produce with the same mods a lot more power in real life, like the classic VW Beetle, in real life i know there is shops that can make it with +300hps tuned to the max with a big turbo, but in game it´s about 100hps tuned to the max even turbocharged, we need a lot more HPs on this performance mods for all cars

First week was amazing, until you find out their "Career mode" called Café is finished in a matter of hours, all the used vehicules are way too expensive, can't sell any car so you have to grind the same races over and over to make money...but wait a minute! Update coming in! Rewards are cut in half! Wtf? And if that wasn't enough, the damn update makes theI was so hyped for that game.     Go buy GT Sport, the cars only cost $5 in that game. This is an obscene mockery of a franchise that has been near and dear to my heart since I was a child. It's a good game at the core, but I can't in good heart recommend it. The microtransactions' predatory nature makes it a overall miserable experience.

Grinding for cash is an issue for someone who just want to race real people because the rewards for online racing are pitiful.     Seriously how long does it take for a company to go "OK this is all wrong. Let's just fix it." and do one big update rather than drip feeding utter nonsense every three months. Its online only, so racing offline isn't a thing, that includes ai. The ai cars are made of concrete (I though t this stopped in 2005) so knocking any form of ai car generally means high speed ramming, which by the way you always inevitably come off worse from, even in light contact situations.
    The list of issues with this game are inexhaustive, I could literally write an essay and this is now 1 whole year on from my original review.
    Actually terrible.
    Its really annoying seeing people stick up for it saying things like it's improving and giving it 8 ratings. A year ago I bought this game and it's still just getting to a point its playable.
    Dont get me started on the cafe and all the "people" I have to "talk" to because the designer couldn't handle the fact that it's just a game, so half the time I'm reading what some cretinous idiot thinks I should know and I can't just turn that option off.     The ticket/lottery system is also a joke. You'll esrn tickets for certain accomplishment in game, rated 1-5 stars. Don't get excited when you see the potential prizes though because the "spin" will almost always land on the smallest prize, usually a nominal amount of in game currency.

    Once career mode is over there is very little to do besides grind through races you've played dozens of times and buy new cars. There is always one type of vehicle and setup which will be better than others at a particular race and, once you find it, there is little incentive to change cars. The only reason I still play is because I'm trying to justify the $100 I spent to buy it.

THAT'S THE ONLY POSITIVE, because the micro-transactions and the forced online only policy completely destroys any positive or fun in this game. The only thing that I can thank this abomination for is that it convinced me to download a PS1 & PS2 emulator so that I could play GT 1, 2, 3 and 4!!! The only thing that I hope is that PolyphonyTo start with the positive, the game is gorgeous... THAT'S THE ONLY POSITIVE, because the micro-transactions and the forced online only policy completely destroys any positive or fun in this game. The only thing that I can thank this abomination for is that it convinced me to download a PS1 & PS2 emulator so that I could play GT 1, 2, 3 and 4!!!     Gran Turismo is a series I got into back in GT5, when I absolutely loved the game and collected almost all of the cars within it. I got Gran Turismo 6, I liked that game but didn't play it as much. I bought GT Sport to have a racing game on PS4, and I enjoyed that one despite it's focus on    I wish I'd never bought this game.     Gran Turismo is a series I got into back in GT5, when I absolutely loved the game and collected almost all of the cars within it. I got Gran Turismo 6, I liked that game but didn't play it as much. I bought GT Sport to have a racing game on PS4, and I enjoyed that one despite it's focus on online multiplayer instead of car collecting. When I heard that Gran Turismo 7 would be like the previous entries, I was excited. But man is this game anti-consumer.

    The races are unforgiving, one mistake and you can kiss first place goodbye unless you're an expert.

    The credit payouts are stingy, forcing you to grind for hours to but the car you want.

    The "rewards" give you one of five options to recieve, except the fact that all 20 rewards I've gotten have been the worst of the 5 rewards, and not once being a car.

    The Legend and Used Car dealers rotating inventories exploit FOMO (fear of missing out) because you only have a couple days you get that Testarossa before it's gone!

    But the worst part is the "micro" transactions.

    With cars costing up to 20 million credits, and 2 million credits costing $20, Polyphony Digital really expects it's players to pay $200 to get these cars. In conclusion, I've never played a racing game that has been so stingy and manipulative that it felt like the game hated me as a player. I will not be playing any longer and I will be very pessimistic about future Polyphony Digital titles.    … Expand

    GT Franchise is now pretty much dead, and probably for good. No real campaign.Promised updates (selling cars etc) never materialised. Aggressive micro-transactions. Always online connection - game is basically bricked when the servers go down and they've gone down several times, often days at a time. Window dressing the game with historical tid bits cannot conceal how **** and empty this game is.

    For the lovers Gran Turismo saga like me, you cannot allow that this ps5 game seems to be from two generations ago, the sensation of speed is null, it is like competing against grandmothers going shopping, the collisions are embarrassing , you don't notice any care in the game modes, the menus... nothing, online connection forced, it's a disaster...

    Gaming use to level the field, the Poor and the Rich could own and race the most expensive and rare cars....Now thanks to the new American controlled playStation , even in games only the rich get the best cars...Unless your a rich 5%er whale or pay pig , you are going to spend your time in GT7 driving cars not much better than what you can afford IRL.

    Looks like a higher resolution ps3    Gaming use to level the field, the Poor and the Rich could own and race the most expensive and rare cars....Now thanks to the new American controlled playStation , even in games only the rich get the best cars...Unless your a rich 5%er whale or pay pig , you are going to spend your time in GT7 driving cars not much better than what you can afford IRL.

    I would give it a 8 if it weren't for the greedy casino tactics making it basically essential to use real money to get the best cars or grind for 24 hours per car. It's a shame because there is an ok game in there if they made an actual career mode and rewarded skill but instead we get this rubbish.

    This might be the biggest disappointment Ive ever seen come from gt game, gt5 was a disappointment but they at least tried and were wasting a ton of resources getting everything up and running on the ps3’s extremely complex cell architecture. There is no excuse for this, they've had all the time in the world for this game and have come out with a GT Sport upressed PS4 game with a GT4 layout. Price of the game is worth it due to the sheer amount of content thats packed in but compared to the ps2 and 1 era classics, Gran Turismo has fell from grace as the ultimate simcade racer. Начал играть как только она вышла в 00:00, и она мне очень понравилась, так как фанат прошлой части. Поиграл 3-4 часа, выбил даже 6/54 ачивок и пошёл спать счастливым. Проснулся и сразу пошёл играть, но там замок.

    Я очень разочаровался в японцах, вы хотели пробудить ненависть во мне, но у вас не получилось. Я даже мог бы понять, если б моя страна была не права, но это не так. Так поступать, не разобравшись в ситуации, это очень глупо. От кого, но от вас я точно не ожидал. От людей, которые подарили нам философские знания из аниме Наруто, что надо на ситуацию смотреть с каждой стороны.

    Либо если вы обдуманно решили поддержать фашизм, как вы это делали в 1945, то ничего удивительного. Но вы должны знать, что добро всегда побеждает зло.

    Если хотите войны, будет вам война, я буду первым добровольцем, буду тренироваться, даже готов чтоб на вас вместе со мной упали ядерные бомбы. А то вам похоже было мало.     I've played GT7 for over 5 hours and suspect half of that has been in the menus. The gameplay is great but it's so infuriating bouncing around different menus to get the right car ready for a race to unlock the next track. GT7 feels incredibly dated compared to Forza Horizon now.

    Extremely disappointed. Waited ages for this and it feels like half the game is missing. Where are make-specific races and championships? Where are the endurance races? Where are the big credit rewards for winning? Also it feels like there's something off with the way the cars handle and the sense of speed. Cars feel heavy and sluggish.

    On top of that, it looks like the shaders were designed by someone who hasn't worked in graphics since PS3 days. Sure, the resolution and draw distance are great, but the cars all look like plastic, the foliage and grass don't look remotely real, and it all just looks... super fake.

    Edit: The fact that the MTX's are a thing isn't even the worst part, there's just nothing to do, and this is coming from someone who loved GTSport. It's just the same missions over and over, no diamond/ruby/emerald ranking, all the good circuits not included, it's just bunk.     Looks beautiful but the menus, constant menus, button pressing slow the game down to a crawl. Racing also feels a bit dull. If you not a racing sim fan than this isn’t for you. Also $40 extra for a single car = no thanks.

There are 420 cars which can cost up to 20,000,000 credits. If you win a 30 minute race it will reward you only 10,000 credits! Buying just a decent car for like 200,000 credits takes multiple hours grind, legendary cars even more than 100As a former Gran Turismo fan I'm highly disappointed. I guess that's the main reason for the ultra slow progression : Microtransactions. In GT:Sport you could buy a premium car for 3,000,000 credit after a few hours of grind or $5. The same car in GT7 will require dozens of hours of grind or a whopping $30.

    -2 weeks after release, they have lowered the cash prizes in order to favor microtransactions.
    -There is no way to contact the developer, 2 weeks after release I still don’t have the preorder bonus and can’t find an aswer for why it’s missing. This game is a scam.

    The good: -In some weather-lighting combinations the game looks amazing.
    -I do love the decal customization system.
    -The used cars market and legends store makes the game more interesting.

Am giving up on sony, they are really going down the hill. All the high ratings are just a proof that sony pays for the reviews.

    The physics seems spot-on for some cars, but for other like low cheap cars, I feel like I'm driving on ice, for example, the 500 Fiat race, the car's max speed is 55 mph and the turns are very large the car is just skating across the road as if my tires are made of plastic. It leads me to think that they build this game more towards the end game with racecars.

    It does have a pay-to-win feature that is never accepted by the gaming community. This feature can take away that magic of the made the game feel so rewarding in prior versions which is earning your car through the grind.    … Expand

I know that doesn't make sense now, but you'll get it when you play it. It is all over the place. It's not awful. But it's not an 8/10 game or a 9/10 game after all that considered. They simply went back to the roots of the series, used the power of new tech to make it look better, changed how they present it all kinda, and now are charging people for fake money to buy these fake cars. Just do a car pass. Don't ever ever ever sell in game currency in games that aren't free to play. It's so bad. And to top it off, the game is a grind. And I can't help but wonder, did they finally go back to the grindy CarPG roots of the series just so they could get people to buy the currency????

El taller donde uno ve los autos tiene un fondo gris horrible, las ruletas para conseguir autos parecen de un juego web de los años noventa. Incluso El número que muestra la posición en la que uno sale en la carrera es feo, parece que está hecho en letra arial y sólo sale "1.". Es tan mesquino en todos los apartados este juego.
    El catálogo de los autos tiene un diseño pésimo y deprimente, todo es plano, todo es gris. El juego no invita a jugarlo. y para poner la guinda a la torta, el juego está plagado de micro pagos, ya que, para poder conseguir el coche que deseo debo pasarme horas y horas en un juego lento, repetitivo, con malas físicas y feo, para poder disfrutar del coche que quiera. Y la otra alternativa es desenvolsar cientos de dolares para poder "disfrutar" en algo este pésimo juego.
    Juegos como este, son aquellos que desinsentivan a los jugadores a probar juegos de carreras. Es todo lo malo que se le puede atribuir a un juego de carreras, y es muy triste que algunas compañías sigan subestimando a su público y entregándoles juegos sin terminar y sin nada de cariño detrás. Este juego es frío, gris, aburrido y abusivo.

    Muy pocas mejoras desde el GT5, nada novedoso. En las redes sociales se esta comparando el GT7 con FMS7, ambos juegos de simulación de conducción, en donde se ve en el video que claramente el FMS7 siendo un juego de simulación del 2017 es mucho mejor en varios aspecto en comparación al GT7. Lamentable por parte de Sony, en donde claramente se les ve que en los dos últimos juegos como HFW yMuy pocas mejoras desde el GT5, nada novedoso.     Aburrido, carisimo, graficas dignas de un juego de movil... que mas decir la nota es la merecida. Si fuese ps3 seria otra cosa pero esto no se puede dejar pasar en 2022. Ni hablar de los micropagos y la conexion permanente.

    Pra quem gosta de GT, vai continuar gostando, porque o jogo manteve as origens ao mesmo tempo que inovou em outras partes, como o modo Café. A física do jogo, dirigibilidade e gráficos estão quase perfeitos.

I was going into this with low expectations and it just blew me away. Certainly a must buy for all fans of racing games and cars in general. UPDATE - online only and servers are down. They literally deleted this game from people who bought it and even played a while. Today they deleted store. No refunds for ps plus.     they totally took the fun out of this game, every race is a rolling start and you catch up to the guy in first in in 1 lap then the game boost the guy in front so your chasing for the last 4 laps by hundreds of a sec its just annoying and predictable to the point i kind of hate this game.     Grind Turismo is the most apt name for this title. The only worthwhile activities this game offered was the exploits that by this time have already been patched out. The daily "roulette ticket" reward system is probably the most offensive non-random anti-player-biased act I've experienced in a game. The lack of career content in terms of race activities on each of the tracks make for perhaps about 2-3 weeks of viable play time, maximum. Hey, not bad for a $100 title that still hs the audacity to offer MTX! Specialized tuning opportunities are hidden behind a "random-reward" wall that the player won't gain access to, even if he plays the game daily for the next century. The pre-1.18 patch roulette ticket glitch allowed players to circumvent the engine swap aspect of this, but alas this is no longer possible thanks to the latest patch. If this game is offered free PS Plus, I'd happily recommend it, but in terms of value as a premium purchase it's nothing short of a disgrace in spite of its so-called fixes in response to initial player backlash. Something that was designed from the ground up to exploit people for their money, cannot be fixed afterward and still be profitable.… Expand

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
