    One of playstations best ever games made in my opinion as someone who has been gaming for 25+ years. The graphics are incredible if your lucky enough to own a ps5 and a lg oled c1 this game is simply beautiful in 120 frames mode. The game has a new weapon, a spear which is great fun and new realms. It is anything but the same as the old game. Anyone complaining is playing on the dated ps4One of playstations best ever games made in my opinion as someone who has been gaming for 25+ years.     This game is a masterpiece and must be played!!!!
    Awesome graphics, the world's look amazing, the frame rate is adequate...... And the story has you at the edge of your seat from start to finish.
    I purchased this game on the PlayStation Store........ I have last gen AND current Gen versions........... I have been playing the PS4 version on the PlayStation 5 and I have zero complaints with the games stability? Maybe the PlayStation 5 Is making the game run and look better?
    I won't post any spoilers but the story was tugging on my heart strings at certain points, I actually finished the story earlier today and once I unlock all trophies on PS4......... I am loading the PlayStation 5 version and starting again because I have loved every second of the game     … Expand

    This is by far my favourite story game of all time this is the closest thing to a perfect game in my opinion everything is just perfect from the story to the graphics and the combat to the characters ,the dialogue,the scenery,world building I can go on and on but you get the point this is a new bar in the gaming industry Santa monica studios you mad scientist you did it again.

    It’s a must play if you have a PlayStation. It improves upon Gow 2018 in nearly every way. Better combat, more boss fights, more enemy variety, more world variety. The story was more grand and complex, and some of the emotion and tension that was there in the 2018 game was missing. Despite that the story was extremely emotional. These moments will probably hit you hard. My only complaintIt’s a must play if you have a PlayStation. It improves upon Gow 2018 in nearly every way. Better combat, more boss fights, more enemy variety, more world variety. The story was more grand and complex, and some of the emotion and tension that was there in the 2018 game was missing. Despite that the story was extremely emotional. These moments will probably hit you hard. My only complaint is that I wish the game wasn’t over. I got the platinum trophy and have seen everything there is to offer. There are still characters that I would like to speak with but can’t, which is disappointing. If you are even thinking about buying the game, just do it. You won’t regret it. 9.5/10… Expand

    A masterpiece game , feels like a great avengers movie ! And great combat , in the gameplay you can feel the swinging of the axe and blades , new moves has been added to the gameplay with little action button changes , old gow moves has been added like the gow 3 pull , you can pull enemys towards you , and a sory with lots of surprises , also make sure to do the side tasks while playingA masterpiece game , feels like a great avengers movie !     THIS is a masterpiece! It tops part 1 with some easy steps, the gameplay is a bit better, smoother, faster....the soundtrack....oh man this is awesome! Mimir is such fun, the talks between the crew are so good written, made me laugh once in a while. More boss fights than in part 1 and I think I did not even scratch the main story. Little easter eggs are cool. The world looks stunning! JustTHIS is a masterpiece! It tops part 1 with some easy steps, the gameplay is a bit better, smoother, faster....the soundtrack....oh man this is awesome!     The game is literally perfect. They took everything that worked in the first game and made it better, changed or improved everything that didn't work, and introduced new things that are just as good. I could not have hoped for a better experience.

    Easily game of the year and perhaps even game of the decade.

    My game of the year!

    Absolutely incredible way to end off the Norse mythology storyline to Kratos' legendary story. I'm not a gamer who worries or cared about earning platinum trophies but I loved this game so much that without even paying attention I ended up Platinuming God of War Ragnarok.

    For me this is without a single doubt the greatest story/game i have ever experienced. It is better in every possible way in regards to its prequel from 2018, which already was outstanding, but what Santa Monica Studios has delivered here is a true masterpiece.

    Why people give this game anything less than a 9 is beyond me. I crave single player games with a good story and it is clear this game picks up right where the og ps4 GOW left off. The graphics are unbelievable, combat is just as fun, more exploration and rewards. I’m only a few hours in but this is absolutely everything I imagined it would be and more.

    The combat, the puzzles, the STORY (strongest point of the game). It's just better in every aspect than the last. The first worlds aren't that entertaining but when you unlock more abilities, armors, characters, Incredible side quest, then it becomes one of the best games I've ever played. 10/10 recommend it to anyone who likes a good story game. Acting is superb.

I can recommend to play the first title to get fully immersed by the story. You won’t need it but it’s a direct successor of the first title. The visuals, the soundtrack and audio concept, the dialogues and cutscenes, the world and character design, the gameplay, the story concept, the game UI - just everything is one of the best in it’s class. It’s an unbelievable masterpiece in every second from start to finish. Santa Monica Studio is the most professional game manufacturer in this world (besides Naughty Dog and Guerilla Games). You just don’t need more reasons to get a Playstation. Don’t listen to any of the bad ratings here, they never played the game by sure. And we all know why they never played it, just because they can’t.

    Everything was so perfect, but the final scene just pushed me out of this world, it is the most emotional moment I’ve seen in a video game since a decade, probably of all time. It’s truly heartbreaking. A video game which makes me cry is something which is really rare and there is no handful of games which ever could achieve it within 30 years of playing games. To fully understand you will need to play the predecessor. I’ve enjoyed every second of this game so much and I can’t wait to continue this journey. Thanks a lot    … Expand

    I played 34 hours and went through all the story quests, and after that, I can say that I had a positive experience of the game as in the first part, in some moments even better. It will appeal to many but not all. PS: I hate hints in this game.

    Un juego sumamente inmersivo. Vemos más allá de los personajes y los reinos que nos presentan, además que la jugabilidad se ve perfeccionada. Unos dicen que este juego es un DLC del GOW de 2018, nunca estuvieron más equivocados, este juego hace ver al de 2018 como un DLC sin ningún problema.

    Picking up a few years after thr events from God of War 2018 and bringing a really satisfying conclusion to the Norse-Saga. Do not want to get into spoilers, so i'll keep it short. I've finished the story and am on my hunt for the last few trophies.
    Gameplay got improved upon in every way!
    The highly sought after enemy variety was more than taken to heart and they delivered!

    Незабываемое приключение в которое хочется вернуться сразу после прохождения, невероятно красивый мир, классно прописанные герои и суровый Кратос)). Для меня эта игра года!!!

    The story's continuation with 2018 was perfect, gameplay has improved significantly. The story was of course perfect (thankgod there was no drop in quality/ anticlimactic end). A must play

    I really enjoyed it and i think it is the game of the year in my opinion i really enjoyed it and it has lots of surprise which is incredible

    Fantástica la forma que tiene de mejorar en mecánicas y combate. Gráficamente superior al anterior. La historia es emocionante y emotiva.

    The games feels amazing and the cinematics are the best I’ve ever seen in a game, and it did a great job compared to its predecessor, like Horizon did.

    Story was amazing, gameplay was impressive and a big step up from 2018s already great gameplay. New worlds, enemies, boss battles on an epic scale like older GoW games. The wait was worth it.

    One of the best games around. Amazing storyline game play and graphics. A perfect example when a developer actually cares about a game and don't just want revenue with expensive in game purchases like call of duty. Definitely game of the year

I went in to this has something to simply pass the time and I've finally finished it and this game is probably one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. From the storytelling to the core fighting just seems perfect. My only issue with this game is it could of had far more haptic feedback and adaptive triggers but overall one of the best story driven games you will play this generation… Expand

    I can't help but tip my hat to the entire Santa Monica team. The deeper you delve into the game, the more you'll be drawn into the stunning story of a father and son against the backdrop of perhaps history's most horrific war. Throw in some casually endearing humour, great and fluid gameplay, and wrap it all up with an amazing audiovisual experience. [Issue#323]

    Thanks to an amazing cast that’s doing an outstanding job, a compelling story told through the eyes of multiple characters, and top-notch combat, this epic and heartfelt journey strikes all the right chord. It’s impossible not to recommend God of War Ragnarok, but just in case you had any doubts, I strongly advise anyone mildly interested in gaming to play Santa Monica Studio’s latest masterpiece.
