    just here to say to say this game was amazing it has its pros and cons just like every over game in the industry but it deserves its praise. The people giving this game a 0 need mental help are biased and most likely virgins.

    El juego esta genial pero aqui vienen mucha gente a poner malas notas sin jugarlo solo lo vieron por youtube solo es cosa de revisar las votaciones de algunos y se daran cuenta de quienes son los ardidos en esta vida no hay que ser tan tonto de dar mala critica sin haber jugado el juego solo porque te duele no poder jugarlo

    It’s pretty much the second half of the first game. Basically as if it were a giant DLC and clearly is a PS4 game that is slightly enhanced with higher FPS and Resolution for the PS5. The games concludes the story arc of Kratos and in a rather uncompelling manner and basically makes the story of the first game pointless. This game could have been a DLC

    I'm very disappointed. A lot of decryptions have destroyed the rhythm of the game. This is not the god of war I want. At the end, many things have not been explained.

    Kratos is the greatest video game character of all time! That's how I choose to start this review, Kratos' development has truly come full circle. he has come a long way and seeing him going from causing the fall of a pantheon to saving the Norse realm growth we cannot ignore, enough to get you emotional. I give props to SIE Sony Santa Monica for giving the love and respect the characterKratos is the greatest video game character of all time! Seeing how evolved his relatonship with Atreus is during the cause of Fimbul winter is heartwarming. His love & trsut for his son can truly tug on your heart strings. His relationship with Mimir has improve drastically, seeing him value Mimir's council indicates how come he has grown.

    Boss fights are taken straight from the pages of FromSoftware, with the combat we all love from the previous entry. This is the sequel we all deserve, it feels more than a sequel. It is the next chapter of a larger story and it was done so well.

    As a fan of the previous game, I didn't think a sequel could surpass it. Oh how wrong I was. God of War: Ragnarok ups the stakes, action, and emotion all the way up to 11. The story and characters are phenomenal and improve upon the original in every way. The visuals are once again striking and the action is upped thanks to new gods to fight and enemy varieties, although the rest of theAs a fan of the previous game, I didn't think a sequel could surpass it. Oh how wrong I was. God of War: Ragnarok ups the stakes, action, and emotion all the way up to 11. The story and characters are phenomenal and improve upon the original in every way.     - too much QTE, combat is not as immersive as that of a Souls game
    - boss battles and designs are really underwhelming and easy
    - Asgard looks like an Evacuation Center than a home for the Gods. - this are 7 hours worth cutscenes and the story/lore pales in comparison to something like Planescape Torment, Pillars of Eternity or even Disco Elysium - The Norse Characters Sounds too    - too much QTE, combat is not as immersive as that of a Souls game

    10 hours in, all I can say is that the story is so good and I want to finish it soon. But....This is clearly a PS4 game, which has been optimized for PS5. The cross-gen roots and bottlenecks are visible in asset quality, textures, etc. Combat is amazing. Performance is smooth @ 60 fps. But it's possible only because of it's compromise in visual quality.

    Game design doesn't evolve, and the story hangs around with a lack of creativity. Unlike its predecessor, which was properly directed as a holistic experience, this game feels like a machine made up of soulless modules. Even if the goal was to safely implement a familiar experience, it could have been packaged more freshly, but this game feels like the previous DLC that lacked such effort

    This game is aboslutely awesome...improved gameplay with more options and more variety in enemies and boss fights make the gameplay feel the best in the whole series. The main story is amazing and characters are very well written. The side content feels rewarding and fun just like it was in the previous game...THIS GAME IS A MASTERPIECE.

    Teniendo en cuenta que este juego fue pensado originalmente para la PS4, se ve genial en PS5 que es donde he podido disfrutarlo, no obstante, creo que el salto más importante ha sido en el combate, si bien gran parte de este ha sido acogido del primer juego, en esta secuela se ha mejorado tanto en fluidez como variedad, si tuviera que describirlo con 2 palabras serían extremadamenteTeniendo en cuenta que este juego fue pensado originalmente para la PS4, se ve genial en PS5 que es donde he podido disfrutarlo, no obstante, creo que el salto más importante ha sido en el combate, si bien gran parte de este ha sido acogido del primer juego, en esta secuela se ha mejorado tanto en fluidez como variedad, si tuviera que describirlo con 2 palabras serían extremadamente satisfactorio, todo lo que un juego de esta saga siempre promete sin siquiera anunciarlo, con respecto a la historia, exquisita como siempre, complementando conocimientos que ya teníamos y siendo esta una versión adaptada de el “ragnarok” de la mitología nórdica debí decir que pareciera que es la historia original (ya que tiene algunos cambios pero lo principal se mantiene) ya que está tan bien sustentada y estructurada que olvidas que alguna vez mencionaron que no sería exactamente como en la mitología.
    La evolución de Kratos es sorprendente, en el primer juego de lo notaba como alguien cansado de la vida que encontró un rastro de esperanza en su hijo, Atreus, ahora habiendo evolucionado ambos se puede ver como Kratos es más expresivo, tanto en su relación con Atreus como con la de sus amigos, nuestra curiosidad e interés con sus vidas, siempre manteniendo su sabiduría y cautela por delante, este juego es simplemente perfecto en todo aspecto, no esperaba menos de Santa Monica Studio o de la saga de GOD OF WAR, gracias por esta experiencia.    … Expand

    excellent sequel, I liked that it feels like a familiar but fresh game with new mechanics, new stories in the conversation and sometimes funny conversations, new friends and enemies. You can see that they made an effort because from the beginning that I played it, it kept me wanting to know more. in quality it is very good and if you can see the graphic improvements for the next gen.

    Santa Monica Studios si que hizo un gran trabajo en este titulo, llegue con espectativas muy altas y aun logran sorprender. Este es un GoW 2018 pero 100 veces mejor en cada aspecto, desde el apartado visual hasta el narrativo, definitivamente un juego de cada 100 años.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. from my point of view practically perfect game, remodeled gameplay that corrects old shortcomings well, adds gameplay correctly even with atreus and does not get bored above all, always pushes you to go further, very well built characters, continuous story with choices NATURAL that does not make you doubt a wrong choice as it would have gone, but makes you feel like you find it right that it went this way and not just for the happy parts of the game, it moves away from the old game but at the same time no, the game pushes you to go further and further and the side missions work the same way, this is all a sequel should have, then needless to say beautiful art and audio sector that hardly a person would not appreciate, this game is all that that a sequel should be and have, difficult to maintain such a pace in every moment of the game.     The intro is amazing, really fast pace, it doesn't waste time to get the story going. The environments is vast and beautiful. I only wish this game was built for the PS5 as some of the textures and graphics looks like a PS4 game which it was built for that first. If you loved the previous game this is must, its a must buy!!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Simply the best game of all time. It has improved upon the 2018 game in every way imaginable. An outstanding story with an outstanding perfomance by the actors. You can't help but be completely immersed. It is no longer just a game, but a cinematic masterpiece. The character developmet is amazing, the scenery is beautiful and the ending is perfect. Kratos feels human, he feels normal. He is no longer cold and emotionless. He finally stops being overprotective of his son and realizes that his path is his choice to make. He makes peace with Freya, he no longer has a problem with calling his fellows friends. He has grown so much as a person and that is beautiful to see. As much as I want him to go back to Greece, to hear the old music play again or perhaps even see "the man he once was" I know this was the right thing to do. And I am happy for Kratos. We need to accept that certain things come to an end. And that it is time to let them go. His old life is left behind, as it should, and his new life has gotten it's happy ending. He has suceeded as a father, he is worshipped by men and can now spend time at peace with the people he most loves. These characters are so well written it really makes you feel as if they were real. As if you were alongside them on their many journeys. And it really makes you care for them. I have personally fought depression and a sense of meaninglessness for a long time now, but this game has singlehandedly brung back my love for life and motivation to better myself. This is true art. It is more than that. I truly congratulate all of the people that have worked on this massive project. All of the actors, engineers, developers, artists, writers and of course the director, Eric Williams. I'll be honest, when I heard Cory Barlog won't be directing this game I have feared that it might fail. Cory said that he is "leaving the game in good hands" and boy was he right. It is a shame I have never heard of Eric prior to this game, he has really proven himself to be just as good if not even better than Barlog himself. I can't wait to see what Eric and his team will create in the future. This game is a masterpiece, and that is an understatement.… Expand

    Mejora totalmente lo que parecía ya perfecto, su gameplay esta mucho mas pulido y se siente con fluides a comparacion del juego de 2018, la narrativa e historia son muy increbies, trajo consigo una gran variacion de boss fights y enemigos al igual que traer nuevos personajes bastante memorables y carismaticos.

    Masterpiece! The game is better in every single way: enemies, places to visit, storytelling etc. If there's a game that deserves your money and time it's god of war Ragnarok. I was afraid of what they were aiming but it's better than anything I could imagine.

    Without a doubt, I did not think that this saga would surprise me again as it did in 2018, but how my mouth shut up! The truth is, it is a wonderful game that shines in its artistic section, soundtrack, immense history, It is undoubtedly a masterpiece that will close for a long time, Santa Monica has done it again.

    Anyway, it is just the same game as 2018 game. It has a lot of cuts seen, linear experience. You do not feel like a god ...their is no epic fight seen. I think they focus more on the narrative and the story. sadly, it did not clic with me .....

    I really liked the previous work and thought that it would bring about breakthrough progress, but I was disappointed. In the same situation as the previous work, I was very upset that the decryption and map running became more and more. It seemed that I was playing with the Assassin's Creed. It was strange that many of the materials were reused in the plot arrangement.

    This is how you make a video game. Wow developers need to take notes. Games today release so broken and unfinished well not God of War Ragnarok. Story is incredible, graphics are next gen, characters and voice acting are perfect, the gameplay is as good as always. Way to knock this out of the park. 10/10

    The graphics are better, the characters are more realistic and believable and the combat is much more fluid and fun from the early hours of the game. Would it have been better if it was a ps5 exclusive? Probably but honestly I cant complain. Just see for yourself go on any comment of them and click all this user's reviews I guarantee you half of them have Elden Ring with a 10 and probably no other reviews. The other half all the games they ever reviewed are xbox games.

    How I know? because even if you have things that you dont like about this game whether its pacing or maybe you think the story is not as good as GOW 2018. The Least you can give this game is an 8 if you're being fair by any stretch of the word.

    Gran juego, sin duda un gran desarrollo de personaje para kratos, el como se ha vuelto cada vez más cercano y empático con su hijo, con los que le rodean gran desarrollo de la historia y un gran gameplay adictivo que te impulsa a aprender mas sobre él, ya de por si el de 2018 era una joya, este es una obra maestra.

    I can't help but tip my hat to the entire Santa Monica team. The deeper you delve into the game, the more you'll be drawn into the stunning story of a father and son against the backdrop of perhaps history's most horrific war. Throw in some casually endearing humour, great and fluid gameplay, and wrap it all up with an amazing audiovisual experience. [Issue#323]

    Thanks to an amazing cast that’s doing an outstanding job, a compelling story told through the eyes of multiple characters, and top-notch combat, this epic and heartfelt journey strikes all the right chord. It’s impossible not to recommend God of War Ragnarok, but just in case you had any doubts, I strongly advise anyone mildly interested in gaming to play Santa Monica Studio’s latest masterpiece.
