    It surpasses the first delivery in everything, emotional and full of action accompanied by an excellent technical section and a very good soundtrack. Without a doubt, this is the best game of the year and one of the best of recent times.

This is a absolutely stunning masterpiece, at the beginning of the game, you have the most breathtaking fight with thor and the game got some new attacks and later then, you get a new weapon and a new skill tree but I am not gonna spoil for you and man, you will be experiencing the most breathtaking game ever, from the muddy and moist and warm svartalfheim to the freezing cold of midgard and alfheim brings back a lot of memories too. There are a lot of things to explore and it will take you months to finish the game, so all I can say is just sit back and enjoy the game, when you finish just give your most honest opinion and This will be GOTY this year!, mark my words!… Expand

    Ragnarok is a good game, but a disappointing sequel, it doesn't improve very much in comparison with it's predecessor, I was expecting a sequel that changed and improved everything like Horizon Forbidden West did, but what I get was basically the same game, with a different story and differente boss fights.

    These Game is Outstanding. It's not in any way a DLC to GOW 2018, cause there is so much done to create it. Starting with a huge variaty of amazingly beautiful, full of life, small cratures, particles and very sharp textures and high resolution. Game starts sslowly, and the further you go, more Action you get, so as Larger enemies, bosses and etc. Story line is very good, and fightingThese Game is Outstanding.     Es un gran titulo que, aunque no reinventa las mecanicas implementadas en el juego anterior, mejora enormemente todos los aspectos que hicieron grande al god of war 2018, haciendo a Ragnarok muy superior con una historia entrañable que marca el fin de la saga nordica.

    Jogo é literalmente o mesmo jogo de 2018, deveria ter sido vendido como uma dlc, nenhuma evolução em gráficos e gameplay. O final é decepcionante. 7h de Cutcene total.
    Filme interativo e extremamente fácil até na sua dificuldade mais difícil.

    No por 80€.
    No se puede consentir todo a Sony, no pueden vender un juego que lleva en el nombre una de las sagas más emblemáticas de la historia del videojuego, y que visualmente no innove en nada con respecto al de 2018. Es un juego pasillero a más no poder (falsamente la prensa de los videojuegos a nivel mundial nos lo han querido vender cómo la octava maravilla    Lo siento pero no.
    No por 80€.

    No se puede consentir todo a Sony, no pueden vender un juego que lleva en el nombre una de las sagas más emblemáticas de la historia del videojuego, y que visualmente no innove en nada con respecto al de 2018. Es un juego pasillero a más no poder (falsamente la prensa de los videojuegos a nivel mundial nos lo han querido vender cómo la octava maravilla en un mundo abierto).

    No haces más que andar adelante y atrás en multitud de escenarios mientras Atreus te calienta la cabeza. Los escenarios son aburridos, repetitivos a más no poder. Los oponentes y sus físicas son de risa (por no decir que se quedan bugueados más de una vez, al igual que Kratos que se me ha quedado flotando fuera de uno de los escalones por los que trepas en dos ocasiones), las formas de atacar de los diferentes tipos de adversarios son básicamente las mismas.
    El audio merece una mención a parte, porque también falla. En ocasiones se quedan pillados los sonidos de respiración de Kratos en bucle, y también otros efectos sonoros.

    Es un juego lento, carece de ritmo (hasta hacerse tedioso y aburrido) y para colmo tras 12 horas de juego te puedes echar las manos a la cabeza con el absurdo inclusismo metido a calzador.

    Lo siento, soy un fan acérrimo de la saga. Pero esto no es ni la sombra de lo que ha sido Kratos y God of War.

    Por suerte la tienda online donde lo he comprado no pone pegas a la hora de devolver un juego abierto. Recuperaré los 80€ y cuando valga 20€ o incluso menos, entonces lo volveré a comprar por el mero hecho de tener mi saga favorita completa, pero poco más. Porque es un sin sentido lo que le han hecho.    … Expand

    Simply magnificent. In a day and age when we get incomplete or sometimes outright broken game releases, GoW Ragnarok stands as a towering achievement in the industry. The story, gameplay, visuals, sound design, acting, everything about this game is state of art. And above all else, it's ridiculously fun to play. Highly recommended

    La verdad el juego me enamoro tanto grafica como artisticamente, la paleta de colores es fantastica. He jugado la version con parche y 0 bugs o fallos y tambien recomiendo jugar en modo rendimiento ya que es un lock perfecto.

    Picking up a few years after thr events from God of War 2018 and bringing a really satisfying conclusion to the Norse-Saga. Do not want to get into spoilers, so i'll keep it short. I've finished the story and am on my hunt for the last few trophies.
    Gameplay got improved upon in every way!
    The highly sought after enemy variety was more than taken to heart and they delivered!

    This game is a masterpiece. The combat is so much fun, the graphics are wonderful, the story is engaging and full of twist and turns and shocking revelations. Awesome boss fights as usual. 10/10 and definitely the GOTY, no doubt.

    An exceptional and well done sequel. Would be a 10 if the PS5 hardware was taken more advantage of, but I give props to Sony as they are trying to support their huge PS4 install base. Given the difficulty of finding next consoles for the first 2 years, it makes sense.

    God of War Ragnarok is a Masterpiece and better than God of War 2018 in all Respects. It is a declaration of Love to all true Gamers. I love Fromsoftware & Elden Ring I have to say that God of War Ragnarok is my GOTY 2022 and definitely one of the Best Games ever!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. So far only about 12 hours in and this game is incredible. They improved everything that was wrong with the 2018 game, which wasn’t much. In the first 5 hours, there were already more enemy types and boss fights than there were in the last game. The traversal is improved and it feels smoother. The story so far is good. Boss fight with Thor is probably the greatest boss fight I have ever played in a video game. Gameplay is improved overall imo and the sections with Atreus are amazing and unique but a little boring at times. I guess that’s my only criticism right now, that and lack of stun finishers. I also love the more rpg feel of this game where you have more skills, more abilities, and more weapon options. Can’t wait to finish this incredible game.… Expand

    Simply the best game ever made! For years to come!! Everything about the game is amazing the craftsmanship of the characters and the Norse mythology are just stunning and stellar.

    Es una pena que se haya dejado de seguir el camino del III y que tire mas a ser un uncharted con otra skin, los escenarios son un decorado. Demasiada poca libertad para haber cambiado la formula antigua que tan bien funcionaba a esto.. si estuviese bien echo, pues vale, pero no es el caso. Lo seguiré jugando pero de momento decepcionado, aburrido.

    It takes a special game to keep you enticed more than 20 hours in without feeling repetitive and that is what ragnarok did. From high octane combat to a beautifully crafted main story and side quests that rival the witcher 3. Hats off to santa monica for both a technical and creative masterpiece

    The game has several bugs. Some of them don't let me advance on the adventure. Others makes Atreus walk like a Blender 3d model. The fog is everywhere, and don't let me see the landscape. The movements are all from the previous game. There is almost no improvements in graphics, considering the GoW 2018 game. The PS5 version looks the same as the PS4 version. There is nothing new here for me.

    Overrated game.
    - no new graphic, used all assets from 2018 god of war game
    - bad lvl design with invinciblle walls
    - boring platforming and slow walking
    - no new enemies

    I've only played GoW 2018, so am not a GoW fans of the sorts. Now then, I would like to give my opinion as impartial as possible:
    *Mechanics*: Most mechanics here are the same of GoW 2018 and that's a compliment. Fighting is as satisfactory as expected.
    *Graphics*: Same graphics of GoW 2018 but worse performance, fog covering everything but popping still visible now and then. Graphics    I've only played GoW 2018, so am not a GoW fans of the sorts. Now then, I would like to give my opinion as impartial as possible:

    *Graphics*: Same graphics of GoW 2018 but worse performance, fog covering everything but popping still visible now and then. Graphics wise speaking; this game is a 80$ DLC.
    *AI*: Functional, there is obvious hints NPC's IA was not tested enough on all scenarios. This is one of the worst IA i've seen in most recent AAA games to be honest.
    *Plot*: Mind blowing, if this game was a book it could be a best seller.
    *Story telling*: There is a problem with story telling pace in this game, it is obvious to me Santa Monica tried to make this game as extended as possible for "only god knows" reasons, this game could be easily a 12 hours well paced frenetic video game, but Santa Monica extended the game up to 25 hours artificially by using cheap tricks like hidden loading screens and boring submissions with boring enemies EVERYWHERE, Santa Monica really messed it up in this regard.
    *Conclusion*: Enjoyable, but, it is not worthy enough for a 80$ price tag, this game is screaming for a PS5 remaster from day 1, such a shame...    … Expand

    God of war Ragnarök is the definition of a sequel and the ultimate advertisement for how far gaming has come. It is the block buster that puts to shame corresponding productions of other branches of entertainment. With the the slightly lighter and more humorous approach to dialogue and its style in general, the title is better in every other aspect than its predecessor.

    I can't help but tip my hat to the entire Santa Monica team. The deeper you delve into the game, the more you'll be drawn into the stunning story of a father and son against the backdrop of perhaps history's most horrific war. Throw in some casually endearing humour, great and fluid gameplay, and wrap it all up with an amazing audiovisual experience. [Issue#323]

    Thanks to an amazing cast that’s doing an outstanding job, a compelling story told through the eyes of multiple characters, and top-notch combat, this epic and heartfelt journey strikes all the right chord. It’s impossible not to recommend God of War Ragnarok, but just in case you had any doubts, I strongly advise anyone mildly interested in gaming to play Santa Monica Studio’s latest masterpiece.
