GOT-DC is just not worth the amount devs are asking for.(period)
on the other side> IF you have not played GOT original and buying DC instead. its somewhat worth the "remastered" money.

The game itself is so good, but this movement made me to dislike it a lot, I prefer to keep the original one instead of being scammed.

Aug 24, 2021This is the best possible version for one of the best games of the last generation. The new island, new enemies, duelsense and 3D audio features, along with the real world feeling they captured is just incredible. It's a must play especially if you haven't played it previously.

Aug 24, 2021I wish me dad could get games of this quality on gamepass. But sadly he can't. Xbox game studios don't have the talent. Another masterpeice from Sony's 1st party studios. This time with higher framerates, enhanced graphics, and whole extra Island to explore. Brilliant.

The atmosphere, visuals, the combat, the mechanics were a little difficult to get used to, but it was very well made, the story was one of the best that I have ever seen. This game is truly a masterpiece.

Learning more about Jim pass and his dad I just love it. You can also pet so many Animals like cats and foxes like who doesn't love that? Anyway this is a 10/10 and I would recommend you to buy it and try it out on yourself you won't regret it. -

I am outraged by this director cut as they charge for the upgraded version and it turns out to be the same as the one on ps4. I do not recommend it at all. -

Aug 23, 2021I paid the $20 to upgrade and add the expansion on PS4. This game is FANTASTIC. I've played it through twice regularly and just started a New Game+ with the expansion.
If you are on PS4 or PS5 and have never played the game? It is still worth the $60 price point (or $70). It the last 10 years - this is a Top 5 game of mine. -

Story is solid (at least from the few hours I've played), combat is a blast, haptics may not be quite as good as Returnal but it still gets some use out of the controller too. Based on the negative reviews the biggest problem with this title is a company wanting to be paid for their work.

More content was missing from the basic game, otherwise there was nothing to complain about. And now everything is fine. Reason to buy Playstation 5 if you don't already have one.

For players who have already cleared the game, playing the Director's Cut version is still an unforgettable experience.

However, the developers do deserve praise for how skillfully they inserted the expansion into the narrative of the base game. The story about Jin’s past and the sins of ancestors is great (as opposed to boring side quests), new enemies pose a challenge, and the game as a whole shines on PS5’s more powerful hardware. I wish the visual improvements were more noticeable though. [11/2021, p.31]
