A história é boa, o conflito interno do protagonista é interessante. Entretanto, acaba enrolando um pouquinho porque o arco secundário mescla com o principal.
Obs.: Não cheguei a jogar a versão de ps4, então não sei em que aspectos teve melhoria ou não.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.

What more is to say, about a game with great scenario, battle mechanics, graphics, everything? The Game Of The Year voted by the fans, but the critics were just got paid not to give this title! But we all know who really won the 2021 awards and why (despite the bombing) is the highest user rated game of it's generation! ;)

Its basically assassins creed with cool graphics. 1 point for the graphics/art style. Other than that its a very shallow game not worth the time to play if you've played any assassins creed or open world ubisoft game.

Great take on feudal Japan. Realistic and mature story with well developed characters, all of which are transformed by the events and atrocities of the mongol invasion. Main theme of the tale is how much can one sacrifice on morals in order to protect what's dear to him. The protagonist name Jin Sakai translates to person on the border.

It's OK. I like that the wind moves you subtly, and playing without the map is made quite possible because of it. Other than that it's exactly the same as many other open-world games. Big empty fields that exist for visuals alone, serviceable action/combat, serviceable stealth gameplay and while the story can be good at times it didn't have to be over 20 hours long.

This expansion is fantastic! Iki Island is beautiful, with a lot to explore, new weapons, abilities, armors & a really good story. The only setback is the $10 USD charge for the PS5 improvements. The colours are vivid and diverse.
The combat is great as well. It's got great punch and looks great. It's relatively simple in the beginning but it looks like it might have some depth to unlock.

The only thing I can say is that the price is ridiculous. £60 just because it's on PS5 but with the DLC? It's a game from last year. The price is ridiculous. It should've been £40 maximum. Thankfully I got it on sale

It's basically Assassin's Creed in terms of gameplay. It has the same standard stealth assassination, climbing stuff, shooting arrows, okay combat that's very simplistic and easy, and the occasional slightly harder enemy.

The characters and story are all boring as hell.

If you've played harder games like Sekiro, Dark Souls etc, you will find this stupidly easy even on hard.

I sound harsh, but I was expecting so much more. I think it's okay, but I've got through act 1 and i'm just bored, I feel like i've done this many times before and its got nothing new that I can think of.

If you love open world games with heaps to do maybe you will like it (most people do), if you like challenging games with interesting story/characters and satisfying combat, I don't think it's for you.

The PS4 version was good, but the PS5 version takes this game to the next level. The resolution and frames per second are nicely enhanced, as well as the loading times which are INSANELY fast. The sheer level of detail within the world such as the foliage, particle effects, character details, and just the overall diversity in the world is breathtaking.

The controls are very responsive and the adaptive triggers are SO well implemented. Just traveling across a bridge or different form of terrain will change how the triggers react. You can feel every bit of pressure when you pull back on the bow. The soundtrack and voice acting is very good. NOTE: I played it with Japanese audio and English subtitles which is the way I highly suggest you play it. It made it more immersive and I found the Japanese voice acting to be really good. You can really hear the emotion in the dialogue even if it’s not your native language.

Ghost of Tsushima made me put these incredible developers near the top of my list for favorite developers in the industry. Their previous works were good, I enjoyed all the Infamous titles and earned all the trophies for them, but Ghost of Tsushima is in a different universe in terms of quality and the love that has been poured into it is overwhelming. This game to me solidified Sucker Punch as some of the best in the business. Please support amazing developers, especially ones who you can tell poured their heart and soul into the game like they did on this one. I expected some fun combat, but what impressed me most was the amazing story and dialogue, especially the further you get into the game. I’ve literally played every game you can think of, but this game in particular impressed me the most with its story telling because I did not expect such a powerful and epic journey as the one you get in this game. The way the story unfolds and its discussion of Honor and how far will you go to stand by it even in a time when people don’t deserve it, is just so cool and a great idea for this setting. The code of the Samurai is Honor, and sometimes living by tradition or not evolving when the world around you is dishonorable can ultimately cost you everything. The Expansion ‘Iki Island’ is gorgeous and again, the story is massively impressive(especially towards the end), and it made me tear up. Overall, one of the best stories in an open world game, ever. Overall, Ghost of Tsushima ends up in my TOP 3 favorite open world games of all time. It cements itself with The Witcher 3 and the original Red Dead Redemption. I’m so thankful for these developers and this phenomenal game. Thank you so much Sucker Punch. If you’re reading this and you haven’t played it yet, GO BUY IT! It’s a must own for PS5.

Ghost of Tsushima for me was GOTY. Its by far the best Japanese Samurai themed game i have ever played. Most of the reviews that has gave this game less than 10 most probably got lost because of the navigation system in the game. The wind is a major part of the game and an on going theme.

I was never interested in Samurais growing up so it was completely new to me but i learnt so much and it actually got me to appreciate the whole meaning of what the Samurai are and what they stand for. The combat is fluid and every time you defeat even the lowest of enemies you feel like the biggest badass in the world its literally like watching a movie. The PS5 enhancements of taking advantage of new controller is very cool and very noticeable.

BUT the reason i gave the Directors Cut a 9 was because im not 100% convinced its worth the price tag. I mean £70 for a new area which is great dont get me wrong but £70? It just seems abit steep for what you are getting when you could go and buy the preowned PS4 version for possibly £30 less and still enjoy the incredible story.

P.S. Ignore the reviews commenting on Graphics. It does not need an enhancement of Graphics it genuinely is beautiful and you will ride your horse through fields of blossom in absolute awe. Trust me.

When playing the Director’s Cut I was finally able to see the vision and passion of the developers. Experiencing Tsushima in 60fps is truly breathtaking with improved textures and lighting. It were minor changes because the game already looked good but they are noticeable.

Iki Island is a worthy expansion too due to the difference in environment, the backstory of his father and the small iterations in gameplay mechanics and enemies. Still, there is space to have a slightly better experience. More variation in missions (especially sides missions), more creativity in cinematics and more animations for Jin. There are a lot of black screens where you expect it to be a transition between gameplay and cutscenes.

All in all, an amazing experience with respect for the origin of this story.

    Pros:
+ The world is the real star of this game.
+ Wind and particles ... everywhere.
    + Soundtrack is fantastic
+ The feeling of the atmosphere and culture is great
+ Exciting stand-offs and the boss fights

    Cons:
    - Variation in (side)missions could be better
    - Lack in cinematic creativity (cutscenes)
    - The game very often skips animations or scenes where you expect it to be better polished

Advise: If you already played or own the PS4 version, the Iki Island expansion in enough to experience the atmosphere again. If you never played it before and want the best experience, the Director’s cur it worth it!

I wasn’t happy about how the director’s cut charged me for the upgrade, but I am willing to pay the extra to support a masterpiece like this. The stunning scenery and the elegant combat make this game a must-play for every next-gen player. 60 FPS does make everything smoother, and I truly enjoyed my new game + playthrough.

I really enjoyed the original on a base PS4 so I was excited for more content and PS5 graphics. However, Iki island is small; about a fifth of Tsushima, and felt a bit monotone. Ghost of Tsushima is a stunning game. I have never before played a game with such a vibrant open world. It feels lived-in, it feels living. Before GoT I never experienced ASMR from a video game. Now I do. The falling of leaves, petals etc make this a magical world akin to something from a Studio Ghibli film. Equal parts Journey, Bushido Blade and Tenchu this is a game that has been constructed to please the people who forked out for it. Comparing it to TLOU2 is unfair to Naughty Dog because GoT blows it away. I dont know why anyone would choose TLOU2's edgelord nihilism over the magic of GoT - a game whose creators went out of their way to make enjoyable. Also comparisons to Assassins Creed persist but speaking as a fan of AC since the first one (though not so much recently) I am not throwing the games under the bus when I say that AC has never been this good. Not even close. Jin Sakai is a great MC who veers away from the preaching that has become commonplace in Western games and proves that gamers do not need forced MCs who mirror them at the threat of twitter mob outrage. There could be a case made that it is not as long as some other open world games but I would counter that there is no extraneous flab in GoT. Just classy, relevant substance. Its side missions serve a purpose, add to the plot and build the world Jin is trying to save. The add fuel to Jin's desire to save it at all costs. It is so refreshing to have side missions that serve a purpose and aren't just 'Deliver this persons frying pan'. It is a game that makes you care about its casts philosophies without badgering you with encyclopedias on why you're supposed to care (a la Death Stranding). Its world is magical and you want to protect it as much as Jin does. It isnt an exercise in making you feel like crap like TLOU2. It captures the essence of nature and play (which in reality are intertwined anyway). Ghost of Tsushima is a strong contender for Game of the Year and it would take something godlike to deny it.

Ghost of Tsushima is a tough one to review, because it has a lot of great qualities while still being relatively mundane. To me, it feels like this game is an Assassins Creed spin-off still made by Ubisoft. I found the game to be good, but not great.. The gameplay is extremely lackluster in the combat, it really feels like a refined and polished Assassins Creed game - which again isn’t a bad thing, but to be fully objective it’s not that complex. It gets a little better toward the last act in the game, but it’s fairly straight forward. The stealth feels like the old Tenchu games, which is extremely basic, but the AI is absolutely atrocious in this game, which makes the stealth even more ridiculous. The game just gave me this unpolished feeling. The actual missions are mostly very much the same “clear this outpost” or “attack that group”, and they don’t really bring any excitement aside from moving the story forward a little bit. I very much enjoyed the story, however, It really feels that 90% of the game is filler. Act 1 is the longest act, and the storyline completely lost my attention until toward the end of Act 2. Once the story picks up, it tells a pretty good story. The world is beautiful, although a bit empty since it’s mostly just landscapes - again it’s not a bad thing because the landscapes are stunning, but there’s not much happening and it feels very empty. The lighting and grass effects are absolutely beautiful, especially in 4K and 60fps. There are a few areas where the the textures look a bit muddy, for example, the water looks really really bad.. None of the issues are game breakers by any means, but they just add to the feeling that the game is unpolished, even on the PS5. The atmosphere is excellent, everything including the historical accuracy, the music, the voice acting, the story, it’s all fantastic. My final thoughts: the game is good, but it polishes up a formula that had existed and has been overdone for over a decade now. Aside from the atmosphere, it doesn’t do anything particularly well, but it doesn’t do a single thing bad. It’s very much overrated, but it’s definitely a worthwhile ride. Expand

It’s more of a regular DLC paired with some improvements for the PS5 rather than a true director’s cut. However, the developers do deserve praise for how skillfully they inserted the expansion into the narrative of the base game. The story about Jin’s past and the sins of ancestors is great (as opposed to boring side quests), new enemies pose a challenge, and the game as a whole shines on PS5’s more powerful hardware. I wish the visual improvements were more noticeable though. [11/2021, p.31]
