    Amazing game! After tge failed launch of Diablo 3, Diablo 4 recreates itself with great gameplay and character classes and customization options and the skill trees are back, I can't get enough!

    I was unsure about the PS5 port, and it has some hiccups, but overall, I love playing couch coop. It's a festival of fun and visually stunning. Love it.

    I played Diablo 1, when I was 12 years old and played the entire franchise. It helped me, to not grow up entirely. It's soo good to be back the past, and be a Child again :)

    I am really enjoying my time in Sanctuary; killing goatmen and beasts, dismembering bandits and thugs, and squishing spiders and spirits by the thousands! The story is compelling and the enemy hordes seem endless. Jump right in and have some fun!

    Changed my mind after completing the game. Awesome! Good job blizz. Hope there will be no aggressive donate. The story is pretty good. Especially in comparison with past games. The paragon system is so much better and so exciting. Resources, economics all good. D3 has so many promblems at the start. And they did almost all things right this time.     I can not understand the reasons for such hatred for the game. Yes, there are sometimes certain technical problems. But they will most likely be fixed soon. Point about microtransactions is generally funny. I see no point in whining about buying skins in the game if you already have a bunch of free alternatives.     'Predatory monetizing tactics' is the most stupid thing I've heard.... You dont have to buy them cosmetics... I've really enjoyed it so far, yes it could be improved but this is one of the most solid releases in ages!!! Most games need patching before they are even playable nowadays... One thing im not a fan of is the mobs scaling.

    I enjoy PoE for a different reason entirely, it's like turning up the speed substantially but the downside is I have to follow build guides closely. I have 700 hrs in PoE and that is considered as a new player. You could play PoE for 10,000 hours like Zizaran and still find new things about the game.Diablo IV does not replace PoE nor is it trying to, its more like a plug n play where you don't have to look for third party resources to enjoy your experience.

    I can easily see myself alternating Diablo and PoE. The main concern I have is that I will have to farm renown each season, in which case I might do it for the first season, then not come back for years. It would just be so insanely monotonous to do it each season, even with the game being as fun as it is. The first three renown levels are fine and happen naturally, but the last two take substantial effort that is not challenging, only time consuming.

    Crafting, I hope they add more crafting options in season 1. It works out fine for release since we have a lot to learn but this won't be enough for long term play.

    Bosses, would be nice to have more Uber bosses like Lillith, maybe bring back old bosses from D2. Give us an Uber Butcher etc.

    Uniques, are awesome but I think having more options to define builds would help with build diversity. I don't think the devs should worry about people fulling slotting with all uniques, since we still need our other aspects and the Unique gear is usually lacking important stats.

    Connection issues, have been a thing. I've played every day since release and have had 4-6 times where the servers went down, it only happened after official release, not during the early release. I was never locked out longer than an hour. Otherwise, I've had 500ms spikes in the open world but for a release these days it was actually pretty good.

    Lastly, I think the worst thing to give credence to negative reviews are the bugs. Just to name a few, the "cannot use abilities" bug really threw off my groove day 1 but it's only happened twice. It's embarrasing that Shroud lost his 100 druid to the bug in HC. Also the HC world first team had it happen on their stream, which is not good publicity for people watching Twitch to see whether they want to play the game. To my knowledge the major bugs have been fixed.

    I enjoyed the gameplay - fun overworld content with friends.

    Annoying that it’s an item level chase and not as much of a skilled gameplay type of game but overall quite fun.

    All abilities and clases feel great. You can clearly understand when you are in endgame and when your character scales. About 400 hrs of content for the average player. Lots of gun, cant wait for season to try out new clases

I don't remember playing a game that keeps me glued to the screen this much since maybe the original Modern Warfare 2. Playing 4-5 hours a day leaves me with a feeling    My GOTY until now.

    All 5 classes are pretty useable in end game.
    My clan has variety of classes most being lvl 80+ pushing endgame nightmares 40+ and everyone seems to be doing ok. You might have to respec your class for endgame , so the game does require some balancing but for now its not an issue.

    I doubt people review bombing the game put a single hour into the game.    … Expand

However, one small downside that I experienced is the tutorial, which I found to be lacking. Many mechanics were notI could've easily given it a 9.5. It is a solid game with good graphics, and the sound design is phenomenal. Kudos to the developers! The number of abilities, items, dungeons, and cosmetics in this game is enormous, allowing for countless possible builds and strategies. However, one small downside that I experienced is the tutorial, which I found to be lacking. Many mechanics were not thoroughly explained, and some of the advanced tooltips for items and abilities were not available at the beginning. You have to manually enable them in the settings. Additionally, I encountered a bug where if you lose connection for a second while in a loading screen, you get stuck in an infinite loading loop. To resolve this, you have to manually restart the game and load it again. I was hoping for error handling that would prompt me about the lost connection and return me to the main menu to try logging in again. Another thing worth mentioning is the need for a function that can automatically match solo players with others for dungeons or other activities. During my gameplay, I struggled to find someone to play with in a party. Overall, it is still a very good game, although there are some areas that could use further polish. I hope these issues will be addressed soon.… Expand

It felt like a complete upgrade from the third game in every way, and in some ways definitely exceeds even D2. The only two thingsPlayed an unhealthy 127 hours in the first week + early access, and despite having hiccups with the game, I have to admit that it launched in a strong state. The campaign definitely felt great for an ARPG, and it introduces areas and characters at a good pace. It felt like a complete upgrade from the third game in every way, and in some ways definitely exceeds even D2. The only two things that I truly disliked about my experience was the balance and the traversal. Mounts don't feel great, and druid/necro had almost no movement abilities, making any traversal feel slightly annoying. Pretty much every class that needs to use basic abilities to build up their resource feels really bad, because basic abilities do literally nothing outside of utility. Some abilities were also just objectively awful, like Decompose, Rabies, some minions, and even Sorcerer conjurations. This will probably be changed within the next three months though.

    But the big reason I'm giving this a 9 is the accessibility and comfort when on a controller. Holy **** Path of Exile and Last Epoch felt awful on controller compared to this. I had to learn mnk just to play them and have fun, but now I never want to go back to it. Movement feels crisp, the UI actually works, and skills having toggle settings made playing this feel easy on my hands. The screen reader, decent colourblind settings and the keybindings helped me enjoy this so much. Few games exist where I can play for hours without a headache and discomfort, and this is thankfully one of them. It also has local play which was absolutely perfect and I'm so happy to have it back.

    I'm currently a lv76 Necromancer, and I'm still enjoying the game. It has issues, sure, but the ease of access, great visuals and sound effects, strong campaign and well executed open world make this a damn good package. The only thing I absolutely require Blizzard adding is a server selection with more options, playing at the bottom of Africa makes lag really ****ty.    … Expand

I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a game so much and couldn't put it down. There is sadly a cosmetic store but it is just cosmetic. So a negative but not the end of the world for a modern day game for me. The endgame could do with more being added on butThe Camapign is great.     I’m now at act 3 and I can say that this game is really awesome. Not a big fan of Diablo 3 and played just a little of Diablo 2, but 4th is really good: great story, cool graphics, no bugs on Xbox version. Hope endgame will be also good.

    The story is amazing, the cut scenes are masterfully crafted, the world looks and feels amazing, it's a joy to run around and explore the many different areas. On the flip side, the monsters just become reskins of other monsters very early in the game, there is a variety of around 10 dungeon bosses that you will fight over and over again if you want to clear every dungeon at least once, and I can't even count the times I had to "free 6 prisoners" or "find the mechanical stone" in a dungeon in order to advance to the boss room.

    On the good side again, character development and builds are amazing, there is a ton of options to choose from, you can re-do the skills easily and switch completely between different builds mid-game if you want to try another fighting style, the skills feel tight and impactful, and the combination between skills, equipment and play style works perfectly. Then again, some classes are just significantly weaker than others. Necromancers, rogues and sorcerers are massively OP if you know how to build characters, while the Barbarian is okay and the Druid looks and plays horribly.

    The quests are fun, there's a bunch of interesting small story threads, the NPC dialogue in the towns is interesting, in general the world building is fantastic, but then again the open world structure of the game puts you off the main story, often taking away the tension and energy that has been built up during story scenes. The introduction and the first few quests, where the game is still linear, feel so amazing, and then it gets more and more washed down by an overwhelming amount of blue exclamation marks.

    I love this game, that's why I gave it an 8, but there are many, many points that especially long-time fans of the Diablo franchise will definitely hate.    … Expand

    What I feel the game has build differently and have some aspect from D2 in terms of leveling. The game stepped up from hack and slash element to semi-opened world with concept of MMORPG. Overall the game looks great and can't wait the season theme how it looks like.

    Season 1 has just started and I am loving it. Difficulty has been slightly increased from launch making the game feel gritty and dark - true to the Diablo name. Loads of bugs have been fixed and the devs have released a roadmap of things to come which the community have been asking for.     Personally, I have loved the game thus far, I beat the story, made it to world tier 3, and have tried every class up to at least level 25. I find the story to be a lovely addition to the Diablo storyline, the cutscenes are gorgeous and well worth the work to get to them, I've enjoyed the abilities the Legendary Gear gives as well as how relatively easy it is to obtain. My only gripes arePersonally, I have loved the game thus far, I beat the story, made it to world tier 3, and have tried every class up to at least level 25. I find the story to be a lovely addition to the Diablo storyline, the cutscenes are gorgeous and well worth the work to get to them, I've enjoyed the abilities the Legendary Gear gives as well as how relatively easy it is to obtain.     Despite everything, I love this game, it's the Diablo4 I was waiting for long time.

    The music is fantastic, the atmosphere is excellent, the combats are nervous. The map is huge, the story, the quality of all the quest is superior as Diablo2.

    I have suffered zero queue : instant access each time. Thanks a lot Blizzard. It's a great great release !!!

I know some Diablo purists out there are hating on it...and I guess if this is nothing like what you are used to you'd be angry, I remember when Ghost Recon Breakpoint came out, and ruined everything about that franchise. But, If we are all being honest here, this is a great game, it's got depth, the character creation is awesomeThis is the most fun I've had with a game in a long time.     I love Diablo IV because it has fixed all the issues that were wrong with Diablo III, while also managing to incorporate many of the great qualities of Diablo II. I don't have much time to play the game with my job and extracurricular activities, but when I do I enjoy it immensely. I'm giving it a 9 because although it's great, there is still room to improve. It's not too complicated,I love Diablo IV because it has fixed all the issues that were wrong with Diablo III, while also managing to incorporate many of the great qualities of Diablo II. I don't have much time to play the game with my job and extracurricular activities, but when I do I enjoy it immensely. I'm giving it a 9 because although it's great, there is still room to improve. It's not too complicated, while at the same time being challenging when needed. Also, the couch co-op is what sets this game above the rest. Maybe people would be giving it better reviews if they had friends to play with. Doing anything alone for long periods of time is enough to make someone hate something such as a video game. When I'm able to play, I enjoy playing for long periods of time, then when I'm getting irritated or burned out I go outside, work out, and maybe even touch grass. This hard reset really helps to keep me grounded and reminds me that it's just for fun. There's more to life than this game, or any video game for that matter, so I'll enjoy it when I can with the friends and family that will enjoy it with me.… Expand

Skills are great, combat and "FEEL" of the game is amazing, Transmog is great, Paragon Boards are great and fun. MOUNT system is rly good, MAP is ENOURMOUS, Bosses have phases (i guess noobs probably dont get there is a breaker system in place like in Guild Wars 2) Open World is AMAZING, leveling is great. GAME isnt easy dont listen to anyone, i am a veteran player and its not easy if you are not paying attention you WILL DIE even on World Tier 1. Dungeons are okay, BOSSES are good, DODGE mehanic is a must have to go around your cooldowns, Transmog system is great, UI is not that bad as ppl say it just takes some time to get used to it. WORLD bosses are amazing and Fun - hard but rewarding loot piniatas to enyoj the world with others, world events are on Guild Wars 2 level, and thats something RLY great. It does feel like an MMO but hey thats fine so does DESTINY 2, they all do. We live in an online wolrd. What else, yea, oh store prices? POE and other games also have 20$ prices... Everyone does it, but i gotta give it to the skin designers, even the random ass yellow items look good, (IMO some look better than the store ones, and they are free.) LISTEN TO ME, im not a fanboy i think d2 is too old, i think d3 was rly bad, but THIS game, i think is one of the best arpgs of the decade. Bu hu hu the servers suck we have disconects, guess what, ALL GAMES DO. Give the Devs a break and dont trash the game, i mean MILLIONS of people are playing the game... it WILL get better. And as for bu hu hu i want a solo expirience, gues what, if you even tried to play, most of the time id DOES feel like you play SOLO. (excluding World Bosses, and Events, and Towns) you wont see many ppl there (great server layering congratz to the devs) and ENDGAME is GREAT. You allways have something to do, i hope seasons will be great i will buy them all i think. This game is a masterpiece 10/10 with minor fixes needed, dont listen to anyone pls, listen to me, i know what im talking about i have 2500 hours in Destiny 2. and almost 1000 in all other MMO's and Action RPG's, and BY FAR Diablo 4 is the ONE TRUE KING.

    VERDICT 10/10 - if you dont like it dont trash it its just maybe not for you. Everyone likes different stuff, that doesnt mean you need to hate the game.

    HORIZONTAL PROGRESSION is a MUST. Great JOB devs, i rly like that WHOLE MAP feels impactful.
    all those idiots that say that they dont feel the progression, they are just below 60 IQ. It takes time to develop skill, and BEST in SLOT items for your character, TRUST me you DO feel strong when you do all the stuff right.

    It's amazing! As a fan of D2 it's everything I've ever wanted, something that Diablo3 couldn't solve. It's massive and there are so much to do besides main story. Add the fact that habings alts is so much easier now and coop as well as split screen, it's nice to play with friends.

    Don't get fooled by the predatory monetizing, just some haters that think the game have microtransactions everywhere, only skins. which are just an image to you.

    Diablo IV is a masterpiece. It's the best ARPG in YEARS, and one of the best (if not the best available right now). I'm playing it every day since the early-access, and I'll keep playing it until I've tried all classes and get to at least level 50 with each, so I can see which fits my playstyle the most.

    Overall, great game, smooth gameplay, amazing sound effects, good atmosphere and    Diablo IV is a masterpiece. It's the best ARPG in YEARS, and one of the best (if not the best available right now). I'm playing it every day since the early-access, and I'll keep playing it until I've tried all classes and get to at least level 50 with each, so I can see which fits my playstyle the most.

    Overall, great game, smooth gameplay, amazing sound effects, good atmosphere and the graphics are just right for a game like this.

    This game is fantastic. It's easily 10/10 for me. I love the complexity and fluidity of figuring out builds that work better than others. I love that the dark theme of Diablo has once again reared its head for players to fight back.     I like it very much! After d3 i was skeptical! But they nailed it for me! I love the dark horror theme! Gamepkay easy one of the best I played compared to other Hack and slash RPg! Story is proffesional and cool! Much still to come!

    Having played every Diablo game since 2 I am very impressed with the launch of IV so far. Game is gorgeous, keeps true enough to the original formula but adds complexity in areas that needed some love. Tons of fun with friends and gorgeous to boot.

It's the one to rule them all. Atmosphere, story, gameplay, characters, world structure, itemisation. Top notch. You can see developers loved working on it. The only thing I'm missing is the music in style od D1 and D2,I've been a fan of Diablo games since the release of the first one. I played all of them many times. Thousands of hours in total.     This is a fantastic game day one. I have about 100 hours in already, and I plan on making this my "home" game for the foreseeable future.

    Pros: - Open World: Lots of things to do in an open world field. Quests, World Events, Strongholds, Dungeons, etc. - Impressive Endgame: For a game that just launched it already has a lot to keep you busy after the campaign. Tree of Whispers    This is a fantastic game day one. I have about 100 hours in already, and I plan on making this my "home" game for the foreseeable future.

    Pros:
    - Open World: Lots of things to do in an open world field. Quests, World Events, Strongholds, Dungeons, etc.
    - Impressive Endgame: For a game that just launched it already has a lot to keep you busy after the campaign. Tree of Whispers (bounties), Fields of Hatred (PvP), Helltides (Random challenging areas that appear for a limited time), World Bosses, and Nightmare Dungeons.
    - Story Campaign: This not only has the best Diablo story, I would say it's one of the best video game stories I've played through in a long time. The whole thing is very morally grey, that makes you wonder where you stand. It's not just black and white like a lot of other fantasy type of games.
    - Combat: The combat is super fun, with a crazy amount of different builds and styles to try out. The way weapon and armor aspects can further change up the builds in significant ways always always keeps me interested and thinking of new possibilities.
    - The Future: The already plan to introduce new seasonal content ever three months to help keep the game fresh and interesting with the first one happening in late July.

    Cons:
    - Still some stabilities issues they need to work out. I get disconnected once or twice a day on my PS5.
    - Mounts need to be addressed for smoother riding. It's easy to get stuck running into a little hill for example.
    -Boss variety needs to be upped. I'm fine with the dungeons being the way they are, but encountering the same boss in several different dungeons is disappointing. Making each one unique would also give each dungeon its own distinction. Heck, even changing the colors and names would be better than nothing.

    Despite my cons I still give this a 10. Not because it's perfect but because it's exceed my expectations and has a promising future. Not to mention a less buggy experience than a lot of other games recently (Redfall for example.) A lot of the low reviews are saying things that are just factually not true. It's not pay to win, you can trade in the game, etc. All in all, a great to start to a great game.    … Expand

    Perfect ARPG without the extreme complexity of a spreadsheet ARPG. Few things need to be balanced/fixed but they are minor issues.

    Complaints about monetization are overblown hard, you have the foundation for hundreds if not over a 1000 hours laid out for box price without any microtransactions needed.

I really hope they change their mind and allow loadouts, because even as a super casual player I'd like the ability to save my builds so I can experiment with a new build without losing my old one, and storage is definitely too limited, but overall a very solid game. If they add these quality of life improvements it'll be a 10

Whichever itch this gameplay loop scratches, or whatever dopamine hits I get from dungeon crawling and looting up, inject this into my VEINS! Seriously tho, the jump in quality and feel from D3 to D4 is wild to me. Everything just feels and looks better. Also so many quality of life things in this game that are justI give it a 9.5 it’s really close to being a dam near perfect game to me. Whichever itch this gameplay loop scratches, or whatever dopamine hits I get from dungeon crawling and looting up, inject this into my VEINS! Seriously tho, the jump in quality and feel from D3 to D4 is wild to me. Everything just feels and looks better. Also so many quality of life things in this game that are just nice. (Being able to respec for a few duckets is among the best).

    I acquisitioned the game and it's absolutely good, good dark atmosphere, very good graphics (better than what I've seen from Poe2 showcase so far), campaign story is good, a lot of content to do, and you never get bored, builds are satisfying to work with and if you know what to do you'll have a good time. They made only 2 CGI cinematics (Intro & Inarius vs Lilith), in the past blizzardI acquisitioned the game and it's absolutely good, good dark atmosphere, very good graphics (better than what I've seen from Poe2 showcase so far), campaign story is good, a lot of content to do, and you never get bored, builds are satisfying to work with and if you know what to do you'll have a good time. They made only 2 CGI cinematics (Intro & Inarius vs Lilith), in the past blizzard used to make at least 4 per game, wish they would make more. I'd give it a 8/10 but since a lot of people downvotes it unjust I'll give it a 10 (people are upset for scaling/itemization/or they simply don't know how to diverse their builds or how to play it). Many of the things are improved weekly, the game is constantly handled well by blizzard so far, wish they would have made the same good job with Warcraft 3 Reforge and not outsource it.… Expand

If you are new to ARPGs, maybe try a cheaper game to see if you like them. Worth it for me as a long time player.

It actually makes me want to sit, relax and enjoy it instead of skipping like every other ones. The leveling experience could be improved on some classes but overall feels great and rewarding. I partly felt this way too but after seeing how fast they are pushing out content and how well feedback is listened to and influcences their design decisions is giving me more than hope.

    I really dislike the review bombing that some people are doing. Giving a game a 0/10 is just plain unfair.

The main campaign had an intriguing story, the graphics are great, and the gameplay is addictive. The endgame could definitely be beefed up, and I'm hoping that's coming, but so far it's kept me entertained for over 200 hours. A few annoying bugs to beI've been loving D4 for the most part.     After a quick patch everything seems to be expected, been playing with Sorcerer and immensely enjoying it. There are still some issues with inventory management, but except for that, I enjoy playing it.

You can zoom in and out, the characters have more depth than they did in diablo 3, story is better than diablo 3 too, and I have had no issues with serves or logging in.     This game isn't a 10 and this game isn't a 0. It's a solid 8. The story is actually good and the gameplay is good. I'm knocking points off for an almost complete lack of innovation. It's the same thing you've played 1000 times. Barbarians are still using the same exact moves. That being said, it's still fun. Hopefully live service improvements and a better end game push this game up to a 9.

    Most people havent reached World Tier 4 or killed Lilith,
    the first Season hasnt started and so hasnt the Battlepass.
    Yet people downrank and reviewbomb like spiteful Children.

    ps: Blizzard doesnt care... they already got your Moneys.

    The game is great so far you review-bombing non-grinding tantrum-throwing urchins. Seriously disregard the 0's, this game is great and I can't wait to see how it evolves.

    Due to time restraints was only able to play character to level 50 during initial release (barbarian). Playing rogue now during season one and having a blast. All the zeros seem to be mostly from folks that don’t like changes to their specific class or are grinding out late game. Can’t speak to late game, but from 1-50 the leveling experience in Season 1 has been a lot of fun.     So the game, it is good. I started with barbarian enjoyed the story, the exploration, the fights, the enemies, the missions.     So the game, it is good. I started with barbarian enjoyed the story, the exploration, the fights, the enemies, the missions. But then something was bad, the class.

    I started following a guide, because I didnt want to do the same mistakes I did in D2. So character was strong. But I didnt like Whirlwind. So I changed to a personal build and, lol, I was weak, and boring.
    I created a rogue thinking of a shadow build but I found out the Imbuement build. The game became so easy and funny. I killed the bosses faster than other classes. But ¿was it OP?, no. There were still bosses from strongholds that killed me sometimes. I had to rebuild me just to beat them. And that was enjoyable.
    The other 3 classes were funny too. Druid is weak, Sorcerer is pew pew and Necromancer is... a full tank. Oh yeah Necro was exploting blood with Overpower damage.

    The story was.. good, but not the best one. Neyrelle and Donan were family reasons, at least Donan didnt started like that but they changed the direction of his decisions. Then it is Lilith family story, it was cool. And Lorath with Elias story like father and son, again. It is to based on family. There were good backgrounds stories like Taissa or Mephisto. At least in general the start and ending were good.

    I liked the system of levels. I could play with my friend who was 10 levels down. There are some bad things about this but I go more for the good finger.

    The enemies were good. I found a lot of differents bosses. Even if they repeate in the dungeons, there is no need to farm all the dungeons. Their attacks are dogeables. So you need to think how to fight them.

    The scenary was perfect. Yes, D3 showed us the worst hell for babies. And here you enter a dungeon with a lot of blood, bodies, pain, etc. The good Diablo game.

    Really great game.. made me feel like playing Diablo 2 when wow first game out. I'm a casual gamer and really enjoyed the mechanics, the story and the dungeons.

    Это все таже диабло , из плюсов неплохой сюжет отдельное спасибо за чудесную русскую озвучку. Играть на одной консоли с другом одно удовольствие. Чего не хватило , так это хоть чего-то глобально нового

    I have probably only written two reviews on meteoritic maybe less. I though it important to share my thoughts here. This game is not a ground breaking block buster it's just a dam good hang. It is fun and relaxing to play with friends or solo. Upgrading your character making your spells more powerful and blowing away monsters.     Love this Diablo! Its a bit hard to enter the whole thing at the beginning... but after a few hours: Its really fun to waste time on the couch! ;)

    I really enjoy this game so far with my wife. Sure there is some improvements to be made, but the game looks gorgeous and dark, I really like the story line and there is tons of activities !!!

Some person take 100 in week, but normal peoples after nerfs spend 200 hours for leveling in nightmare dungeons. And then blizzard increased experience in dungeons, when most of people already talked in 200 hrs.     Overall, my experience with the game has been very enjoyable. The combat feels good, the graphics are great, and the campaign was incredible. I think the game is great for semi-casual players, but may fall off for hardcore players. We will see what seasons do for the game.

    Good:
    - I found the build diversity pretty good. I play a twisting blades rogue, and even just looking at build guides, it is great to so many different ways this build can be played, from a trap-based build, to an imbuement-based build, or something in between. Moreover, other builds are pretty good, even if not meta picks, such as penetrating shot and flurry.

    - Enjoy the open world nature of Diablo IV, and the fact that the overworld remains relevant all the way to level 100.

    - I enjoy the gearing process. I know some people complain about it being too simplistic, and maybe it is compared to other ARPGs, but I find think there are meaningful choices to be made with the gear. Finding upgrades is an enjoyable process.

    - I enjoy scaling, but I understand why others do not. I play with my brother who has a lot less time to play than me, and it's nice that we can still play together.

    - The combat is just fun. I enjoy the risk-reward of the rogue. Running into a large pack is dangerous, but if I can survive a few seconds, then I basically become invincible and do insane damage.

    - I don't think the monetization of the game is a problem. The shop is entirely cosmetics, so I could care less how much they charge. The early-access for $20 wasn't fun, but if it's an issue, just don't pay for it...

    Bad:
    - The inventory is quite bad. There are only 4 stash tabs, and only 33 slots in your inventory. Gems need their own bag, as well as nightmare sigils. I'm planning to play an alt, and I might make it on a separate account so that I don't have to share the stash with another character, as the stash size is frustratingly small. There also need to be a search function for the stash.

    - Respeccing is borderline unbearable. At higher level, the cost becomes insane, with it being around 10M gold at level 100. Even ignoring the gold cost, changing the paragon board is very tedious, since we have to unclick every paragon point that you need to remove to change it. This is outrageous to me. They should add the ability to modify the board, and then hit accept when you're done with changing it, like in WoW dragonflight. Also, if there are paragon points beyond the point you are trying to remove, there should be an option to auto unlearn all skills beyond that point.

    - The endgame feels very grindy, and repetitive. I am hopeful that this will be addressed in the seasonal content, we shall see.    … Expand

    I finished campaign and currently am around 60. The game is superb. I have been Diablo franchise fan since childhood starting from Diablo 1. This iteration makes improvements on the story, atmosphere and gameplay.

    I agree with lots of developers design decisions, especially how they approached level scaling and itemization as all regions are now relevant even in endgame.     I agree with lots of developers design decisions, especially how they approached level scaling and itemization as all regions are now relevant even in endgame. The game now requires combination of skill and some amount of planning in terms of character tweaking. There might be situations while fighting, where you need to revaluate approach or tactically retreat but that keeps combat interesting. I really like the fact that there is some resistance and monsters are not simply bending to you.
    You still make gains and there are ways to make your character powerful, so you can have your power fantasy, but things can kill you if not careful, which is so much better and that is how game should be: A bit challenging.

    Story is really good and satisfying and got me into Sanctuary lore again. It was quite ride with lots of cool moments. Much darker than D3, which I like but I would not say that atmosphere is as dark and heavy as it was in D1 and D2 (not sure if it is good or bad, but I think I would welcome something even more darker).
    Characters not as black and white as you would expect, but protagonist seems to be spared from dichotomy of good and evil and is quite one dimensional. Maybe in next iterations hero choices and impact on the events could be explored?
    Cinematics were masterpiece.

    Technically, game is fantastic. Graphic, animations, sound, gameplay, various systems. All is exceptionally well made. So much detail in there. You start to appreciate little things like busy towns, little tasks that npc do (skinning animals, fixing something, speaking, while surrounded by crowd, crows flying away as player approaches etc). Each town feels unique. You just want to be in this world and interact with it (eg. clicking on pile of stones to get the materials and to hear the sound and animation feels a little like first moment in D1 after killing first skeleton)

    Modern accessibility options: It is nice knowing that someone cares.

    There is some critique I would have: Lots of dungeons feel similar because of the same tasks/bosses that need to be done. I hope it can be improved over time, would be nice to have some variety so redesigning dungeons and adding new bosses would be welcomed.

    Option to hide whole HUD. I am not sure if I missed this but I do not think it is in the game (correct me if I am wrong). Please add this. Sometimes I like to just log in to enjoy the towns, surroundings and art.

    Overall, Blizzard did outstanding job here. I am so satisfied that I got my younger brother into the series again and I am trying to get my little brother into it as well so all three of us can experience the franchise like in 1997.    … Expand

Of course lost ark teeth grinding zoomers community will find mechanics and bossfights boring, and by their moans you can judge that the game is very good for what it was intended to be. A great story with a challenging enough hack'n'slash sequences in between. Is it for hardcore gamers? No, and that's good. Casual gamers exist too.     There's a fair bit to like about Diablo IV — best-in-class sound design, intriguing character classes, fantastic graphics and occasionally addictive gameplay all feel like the series in its prime. However, even the best parts are let down by an undercurrent of frustrating design choices: the cynical inclusion of a Battle Pass, a bloated open world, repetitive mission structure and progression that too often feels meaningless cast a long shadow that let the latest Diablo title down. Future Seasons may refine what's here, but many of its issues sadly feel baked into the core experience. All but the most die-hard fans may wish to wait for a substantial sale on this one.

    The visuals are probably what excited me the most. The way the game looks and the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm playing the old Diablo again. On steroids and on a quadruple screen TV, but the feeling is still there. [Issue#328]
