Sep 3, 2023As a single player game to make the campaign and enjoy the story is a great game, however that is not the main goal of the game and what was designed for.
I was designed with multiplayer, character building and progressing and dungeon crawling for loot in mind and at that if fails miserably compared with the past blizzard diablo games.
A shame really ! -

Jun 11, 2023Poor story, insultive characters, giant step back for series. Skill, gearing, endgame that looks very raw. So many things just useless and pointless.. And there is even no Diablo in game, wow, im crying.

Jun 20, 2023Visuals are great, gameplay is the one we love but dying repeatedly because of the lag in a single player campaign is absolutely crazy.

Jul 18, 2023The game is too grindy and the latest update makes progress even slower. 100+ hours to max level when there is no build variety and itemization is very poor. I have a PS5 and I am a casual player. I am about to buy a PC so I can play Last Epoch and PoE2.
I have no doubt that Diablo 4 is one of the best games of 2026, today it's not this day. -

Jul 29, 2023I love this game. It's been such a long time coming, and the first 35 or so levels are an absolute joy to progress through. However, after that, it becomes dull, stretched out and repetitive. The game focuses on tedium as opposed to content to entice players to continue and purchase cosmetics. Once I complete the story, I likely will not return for another few seasons.

Jun 13, 2023This game is a game that should entertain you for thousands of hours so:
Campaign - 8 (12-20 hours playtime at best)
Content/Endgame/Gameplay Loop/ARPG Systems - 2 (the rest of the time you ll spend in D4 if you are an ARPG fan, if you are a campaign/story andy idc). Endgame is booring and unfinished unpolished. Ganeplay loop? Same 2 builds that feel bad. No variety. For a 70$ game? Pathetic -

Mar 25, 2024There's a fair bit to like about Diablo IV — best-in-class sound design, intriguing character classes, fantastic graphics and occasionally addictive gameplay all feel like the series in its prime. However, even the best parts are let down by an undercurrent of frustrating design choices: the cynical inclusion of a Battle Pass, a bloated open world, repetitive mission structure and progression that too often feels meaningless cast a long shadow that let the latest Diablo title down. Future Seasons may refine what's here, but many of its issues sadly feel baked into the core experience. All but the most die-hard fans may wish to wait for a substantial sale on this one.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jan 22, 2024The visuals are probably what excited me the most. The way the game looks and the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm playing the old Diablo again. On steroids and on a quadruple screen TV, but the feeling is still there. [Issue#328]

PLAYSep 17, 2023Diablo is back, and taking no prisoners. The top-quality, lengthy campaign will be enough for some, while the endgame should prove a welcome obsession for others. [Issue#30, p.84]
