    Who knew that combining Scrabble with Balatro would be so compelling? It's a crossover that works so well, and if you're a word game fan, consider Beyond Words an absolute must-play.

    There are so many mechanics in Beyond Words that it can be overwhelming but once you start to earn gold trophies, it sure feels awesome.

    Beyond Words takes the classic Scrabble formula and pushes it through a Balatro-esque roguelike structure and it does a decent job with that concept, even if it can drag on a bit and success relies on luck some of the time.
