    The perfect introduction to the dualsense and the ps5 in general. This should be everybody's first game on the ps5. In addition, as a game it stands on its own. It saddens me that even high budget and highly praised games don't come even close to this gem.

    Un plataformas sencillo, pero muy divertido que cumple perfectamente con lo que se puede esperar de un juego demo gratuito. Toda la jugabilidad está basada en las nuevas características del mando Dualsense, siendo el juego que mejor explota esto hasta la fecha. Además, durante los distintos niveles se pueden ir encontrando distintos guiños y easter eggs que hacen referencia a sagas míticasUn plataformas sencillo, pero muy divertido que cumple perfectamente con lo que se puede esperar de un juego demo gratuito. Toda la jugabilidad está basada en las nuevas características del mando Dualsense, siendo el juego que mejor explota esto hasta la fecha. Además, durante los distintos niveles se pueden ir encontrando distintos guiños y easter eggs que hacen referencia a sagas míticas como Resident Evil, God of War, etc, así como mucha nostalgia a través de los coleccionables, los cuales son consolas y periféricos históricos de Sony.     This is an amazing and short platformer and I love it for both those reasons. Ya this is a controller demo and tech showcase, but it’s the best one I’ve ever played.

    I honestly didn't expect much from a game that was only supposed to be a demonstration of the capabilities of a next-gen console. However, it is a very engaging and time killing game.

    This is a lot of fun and really showcases the PS5 and it’s controller. Also it is free. Everyone should give it a go. I’ve only not given it 10/10 because it is a short game and a little too easy.

    Man! This isn’t just a wonderful showcase for the haptic feedback, dualsense and adaptive triggers, it’s a sensational game. My only gripe is the god awful music that just repeats and repeats. And, I wish it was much longer. You can platinum this in under 8 hours. I want a full game of this. It’s repost underrated

    Hermoso videojuego, increíble que una demo se disfrute tanto e incluso más que varios juegos completos, si este juego tuviese más niveles fácilmente podría ser un titulo más.

    La jugabilidad es muy sencilla, un plataformero que aprovecha al máximo de las bondades del nuevo Dualsense, que se compone de 4 mundillos fragmentados en etapas y un jefe final. Un aspecto que me gustó mucho    Hermoso videojuego, increíble que una demo se disfrute tanto e incluso más que varios juegos completos, si este juego tuviese más niveles fácilmente podría ser un titulo más.

    Un aspecto que me gustó mucho son los coleccionables: los gachas y piezas de rompecabezas que contienen consolas y periféricos de anterior generación de PlayStation, muy curioso, incluso vi artículos que no conocía y yo que creía que ya había visto todo.

    Otro punto me gustó mucho es la cantidad de referencia de grandes éxitos clásicos y juegos representativos de Playstation, como God War, Crash Bandicoot, Gravity Rush, Uncharted, etc, etc.

    Una demo que todo usuario de PS5 debería pasarse sí o sí, incluso diría platinarlo, una corta aventura mientras recorremos y observamos toda la trayectoria de PlayStation.    … Expand

    As a launch title for PS5, this is a amazing love letter to PlayStation fans like me, and boy I was impressed with me being a little boy playing Lego games and THIS is what exactly it is.

    For a free-to-play, PS5 pre-installed game, this little game has a surprising amount of content and challenges to do. The PS5 dualsense controls are on full-display here and make for an extremely enjoyable time. Both me and my daughter who was watching me had a massive smile on our face throughout the entire playthrough.

    A sheer platforming joy, Astro's Playroom would be an amazing game even if it wasn't a free "tech demo" for all PS5 consoles. Great use of the DualSense controller makes for an awe-inspiring experience that I love to let my friends play and have fun with. While brief, the amount of quality content and fun collectibles make this a great title.

Astro's Playroom is filled with references and Easter Eggs to other Playstation titles and consoles, discovering them made the experience all the better. The designers of astrobot rescue mission put in another great shift giving us more openAstro's playroom is a nearly perfect pack in game. But it's more than just a tech demo it's all wrapped in an exceptionally fun platformer. The designers of astrobot rescue mission put in another great shift giving us more open levels than the previous game. The charm is cranked up to eleven as not only is this a great pack in game and a excellently designed platformer it also is a celebration of Playstation history. There are references to playstation everywhere including bot cameos of many famous characters that captivated my attention every time one showed up. The collectibles of the game are old PS consoles and accessories that also brought a smile. If you have any history with playstation there is something in here for you. While the platforming is as excellent as ever there are 4 gimmick game styles that highlight the features of the dual sense. most of these are fun to control and freshens up the gameplay. One of them is a monkey that uses the triggers in a cool innovative way however it is incredibly boring and repetitive for it's brief appearance. The only other negative is how short the game is. 4 levels with 4 subsections along with a boss fight and speedrun levels make up the entire game and it can be completed in 4-5 hours. However when your biggest complaint is that it ends to soon, then you have done something right.… Expand

    The game itself isn’t mind blowing, it has its moments, but leaves you right when it starts to feel a bit stale, to go have fun with your new machine, and dream of what could be in all of your favorite games…
    But maybe playing sackboys big adventure on the ps5 first softened the blow tha everyone else experienced as Astros Playroom more so feels like an introduction to that 3d platformer.
    That being said, theres room for 2 on your ps5, and with astros playroom already being there, tis worth picking up and giving a go to!

    Astro’s Playroom is a great love-letter to anyone who is a fan of PlayStation. It not only reflects on the past but also does an excellent job of showcasing the future as it takes full advantage of the dualsense’s new features that breathe new life into a game that would otherwise be quite simple on paper. Anyone that gets a PS5 needs to try this game out.

    It's more than just a tech demo, unlike 1 2 Switch. There's also another big difference between Astro's Playroom and 1 2 Switch : Astro's Playroom is totally free. No in-game purchase, already pre-installed on every PS5. You're gonna have a good time with this cool game. I can't wait for the third Astro adventure, which will probably be exclusive to the next generation of PlayStation VR headset.

En un comienzo, era una competencia directa de Nintendo, e intentó emular parte de sus éxitos con franquicias como Crash, Spyro o Medievil. Pero pronto, descubrió un nicho en la industria con juegos orientados a un público más adoslecente y madura, aprovechando el vacío de poder que dejo SEGA en la industria.Sony ha pasado por una transición generacional fuerte con su producto estrella. En un comienzo, era una competencia directa de Nintendo, e intentó emular parte de sus éxitos con franquicias como Crash, Spyro o Medievil. Pero pronto, descubrió un nicho en la industria con juegos orientados a un público más adoslecente y madura, aprovechando el vacío de poder que dejo SEGA en la industria. Comprar una consola de Sony en la actualidad no es muy recomendado para niños pequeños, a excepción de que este sólo quiera jugar Fortnite y Minecraft. Parece ilógico obserquiarle un PS5 a un niño para que pruebe Demon Souls o Returnal; los juegos maduros y cinemáticos apuntan a otro público, eso creo que todos lo tenemos claro. Pero, Astros es el argumentos para obsequiarle una PS5 a un chico que recién se adentre en el mundo de los videojuegos. De hecho, Zack Boy y Ratched a Clank complementan un combo que nada tiene que envidiarle a una Nintendo Switch con Mario, Zelda, Pokémon y Splatoon. Es la manera perfecta de adentrar, no sólo a niños, sino a un poúblico general en la nueva generación de consolas. Muestra de forma lúdica las bondades del dual senses, pero adolece en un punto clave: mantiene un escaso contenido, que plantea escasos incentivos a su rejugabilidad. Sony saber hacer juegos de plataforma, y Mario tiene competencia en un contexto donde parecía que era el absoluto rey. Esperemos que a futuro Sony se plantee explotar dicho potencial.
    Entonces, ¿Merece Astro’s Playroom una oportunidad? La respuesta es obvio que sí, de hecho lo he elogiado durante toda esta reseña. Su diseño artístico es precioso, sus maecánicas jugables sin intuitivas y sencillas de aprender, pero muy bien implementadas, tiene momentos muy divertidos utilizando las grandes particularidades del nuevo control de Playstation. Sin embargo, Astros no llega más lejos en la lista por presentar un contenido que deja con gusto a poco, como si de una expansión se tratase. Acá no evaluamos el contenido por su precio, de hecho el juego viene instalado de forma gratuita por lo cuál nadie fue estafado, pero se siente como un potencial desaprovechado que podría haber llegado a competir de tú a tú con las sensaciones que nos dejó Mario Oddysey el 2017.    … Expand

    This game was made to show off the amazing dualsense controller for the PS5, and boy oh boy, it nailed it. It's also a reminiscent of the playstation era. A great start to next-gen, with very fun platformer gameplay, ala Mario Odyssey. The downside, it's very short.

    Pretty nice litte demo. It is no doubt the best way to check out the new Dual Sense controller on PS5. The levels and general gameplay is quite diverse. The graphics on the other hand very basic. Generally speaking, good game.

    A great showcase of what the PS5 has to offer in terms of specs. It was also a great 3D platformer as well. Add some fun music and a charming artstyle (Sony please make Astro the PS mascot) and you have a tech demo to rival Wii Sports

    A very nice game that works as a demo for the new functions of the DualSense. Crazy haptic feedback & adaptative triggers. It also has a lot built around nostalgia and it's a very easy Platinum trophy to get! It comes pre installed in the PS5 so, it's a must play!

    Very fun game which is free for PS5 owners. It is both simple and fun to play. I even made my mom and dad play the game who did not play any video games before. There are so many different maps to play and they are very carefuly designed. There are lots of easter eggs in the game. This game is my first plat. I recommend it to everyone who has PS5.

    Half cute 3D collectathon platformer, half celebration of PlayStation's sprawling and vast history, Astro's Playroom is an adorable and impressive look at what the PS5 can do in the right hands. In this regard its extremely successful, with some sections having tiny changes that can be massively enjoyable.     It’s really hard to rate this game because it feels more like an overall experience than a game. With that being said, it shows off the capabilities and mechanics of the PS5 controller very well. As a game it is pretty short, but for what it is on its own merits, it is solid. Definitely replayable.

It's so much more than a tech demo; it is an outstanding game in and of itself that is absolutely worth your time.     infine i video che ci aiuteranno a sbloccare i vari trofei, il gioco è disseminato di citazioni dei vari titoli e console che hanno fatto la storia di playstation, e ad esso sono legati anche molti trofei che ci chiederanno di fare determinate azioni, e questo titolo ci fa subito sfruttare questa possibilità non tanto per prendere il trofeo di platino, ma per scoprire tutti i possibili segreti che il gioco nasconde.
    il titolo rimane ovviamente come una sorta di mega demo, quindi risulta limitato in alcuni aspetti come la difficoltà generalmente bassa, ma nel complesso è un titolo che si gioca con grande piacere e che ti fa capire tutte le potenzialità che la next gen potrà offrire

Finding all the collectibles and references was a real joy. It is good to take a break from "real" grim titles like Cyberpunk, to just remind yourself what gaming really is about – joy and relax.
    Pros:
    + Music, levels, and characters are a real joy
    + Fun gameplay with variety of environments
    + Variety of mechanics to keep you from being bored
    + Great collectibles and references
    Cons:
    - Cringy level names (like SSD Highway)
    - No real challange in the game. Even in optional content.

    With all around fantastic gameplay, graphics, design, and just overall fun, I’d argue that under different circumstances, this could have even been considered a game of the year contender. I never realized just how much the Sony PlayStation had influenced my life until I played this game.

    Astro’s Playroom is way more than just a technological demo. It’s probably the best way to introduce players to the new DualSense controller. And it comes free with PlayStation 5. [Issue#308]
