    One of my favourite platformers ever! Great showcase for the new Dualsense controller and introduction to the next generation of gaming. Loved every easter egg and the songs were perfect! So catching and fitting for each level. After growing up with the PS1 and owning every Playstation console - it brought back wonderful, nostalgic memories. Incredible game and it's fantastic that it isOne of my favourite platformers ever! Great showcase for the new Dualsense controller and introduction to the next generation of gaming. Loved every easter egg and the songs were perfect! So catching and fitting for each level.     Honestly this game despite being bundled in with the system was the best experience I've gotten on the PS5. From the bubbly and cheerful music to the detailed levels and the cute atmosphere. It's an amazing showcase of both the system's graphics and the controller's potential to future games, I would even go as far as to say it's on par with what Wii Sports did back in 2006. The nostalgiaHonestly this game despite being bundled in with the system was the best experience I've gotten on the PS5. The nostalgia is also very intense with this game since you collect consoles and accessories from all PlayStation's past both successes and failures. It's always a great feeling when you collect them around the different levels and also spotting the neet Easter eggs about all the great games Sony and others have offered to all the consoles.     This is handsdown the best platformer/arcade game on ps5, and it's also the best example of utilizing dualsense to it's full potential. I wish that all the AAA gaming studios follow suit and make full use of the dualsense features, because that will truly redefine next gen gaming. Also, chasing the platinum was extreme fun.     Certainement le meilleur jeu préinstallé sur une machine. Très belle nne ambiance et surtout, l'utilisation de la dualsense est incroyable. Je souhaite que tous les futurs jeux en bénéficie en se sens sur ps5. Juste incroyable et novateur.

    Truly a wonderful experience for gamers of any age and preference. I'm a 33 year old male ARPG enthusiast and I actually take time from Demon's Souls to play this haha. I haven't smiled and laughed so much while playing a game in a long time! A combination of fun and revolutionary gameplay, experiencing the truly next-gen dual sense controller, and the pure charm of the experience gets aTruly a wonderful experience for gamers of any age and preference.     This game is a truly masterpiece. Such a big surprise! Good platformer, Astrobot is adorable, the music is very good, the graphics are great and it brings tons of nostalgia and fun... for free!

    Jogo simples, cheio de referências, graficamente agradável, de graça e uma homenagem a todos os fãs e até mesmo a marca Playstation.
    Ele é desafiante, bom pra quem quer fazer speedruns e até mesmo é fácil para platinar (eu em 3 dias platinei em 91%)

    Basically the Playstation Mario to show off the DualSense... Mate, this game is insane and an incredible pleasure to your hands. A bit short, but lot's of replayability and accessible for all players young and old. Also features speedrun courses vs the world, in which you can sink hours to master the course.

    Astro’s Playroom is way more than just a technological demo. It’s probably the best way to introduce players to the new DualSense controller. And it comes free with PlayStation 5.

    This game is amazing !!! I had such a wonderful time playing it. The visuals are great and the way they enhance the PS5 controller experience is spectacular. Also, the environments with all it details it just soooooo cute and I love every little detail in it.

    I highly recommend this game !!!

    I expected just a short demo of dualsense, and i ended up smiling the entire game. This game is a masterpiece, even just being a "tech demo". It feels like a crime to get this game absolutely free!

    It’s an amazing game that fully uses Dualsense capabilities to make an amazing, truly next gen experiencia, I bet everyone that owns a PS5 , and is a PlayStation fan is going to love it, it’s full of Easter egg and collectibles about PlayStation history.

    An amazing little game. Might not be long (took me 4 hours to get the platinum trophy) but it is full of heart. Amazing music, stylish gameplay, a great introduction into the DualSense and just in general a hard trip down memory lane. Amazing! I hope we see more of Astro in the near future!

    This game is so much fun! The graphics are really great looking how stylized they are, and Astro is so cute lol. Its pretty short of a game but it's got a good amount of content. The greatest part of this game is what Sony did with the controller, every surface you walk on you can feel in the controller and shooting the bow or gun feels amazing!     Every time I jump back to the game I have a huge smile on my face. The haptic feedback and adaptive triggers do magic! and finding small references to the history of playstation and its exclusives in every corner is great. Plus, don't forget to use Activity cards, it cuts that fast loading times in half!

    A perfect tech demo. You’ll catch yourself smiling in wonder as if you’re a child again. I don’t recall any other games making me feel like this. A solid 10/10. Could be an 11/10 if it wasn’t so short.

    I went into it because it was already installed on the Playstation. I gotta admit I never expected it to be that good with all its collectibles, colourful theme and them Easter Eggs. Pretty much playable for everyone.

    In the beginning I thought of this game as just a free goodie which would be mediocre but I was so wrong. It is a fantastic game and an excellent tutorial for learning all about the ps5 controller.

    A great way to start of the next-gen experience. It's a good platformer and a beautiful way to honor all the PS history while setting of the next edition. There's nothing to complain about, it's a good free game and a 4 hour platinum trophy.

I haven't seen anyone playing this game without a big old smile on their faces. It's absolutely brilliant. It's a fun platinum trophy to get. The game isn't too long but you could spend hours upon hours playing the speed run sections mastering the courses and getting your times down to best your friends scores in the leaderboards. I couldn't reccomend this game more. 10/10 and it's free, pre installed on every PS5... And that's a great price! Play this game.… Expand

    This is an awesome introduction to the capabilities of the PS5 console and dualshock controller. Great level design and fun gameplay. The collectibles are another plus as they cover the history of Playstation. Definitely a must play as soon as you turn on your new console!

    The game perfectly shows the potential of the new Dualsense, the different vibrations, audio, triggers, all of them are completely different in the PS5 controller. I’m looking forward to how devs can implement the new functionalities in their games, because I’m sure that if they put effort, the experience qill be awesome!

    This game oozes passion and love, passion for a simpler time of gameplay first fun and a love for Playstation History. It's a 5 hour free love letter to the PlayStation fans. Its criminal that some 'critics' scored it a 7/10. This is a solid game and should not be missed.

    This game is a love latter from Playstation to the players. So much fun and so much nostalgia from the playstation brand. I was expecting a good experience but this game still manged to blow my mind. Such a great job from Asobi!

    Best way to start your ps5 journey. It will give you a whole new experience with the dual sense, i have never seen this type of technology in only one game. Thank you sony for alway delivering mind blowing game

    This is a love letter for everything PlayStation related. Being included as a free game on every PS5, it invites us to play it, so we can learn what the console is capable of. A demo in other words. But as a free demo, it has a lot more than just "few minutes" like other demos, it's a complete game, filled with challenges and awards.     To be a simple demo game it is fascinating, the graphics in conjunction with the controller make an experience simply worth dividing from one generation to another, very well to start with the PS5

    By far the best pack-in game, even surpassing wii sports! The haptics are next-level. The triggers feel outstanding. Every surface feels different, from sand to metal to ice. You can feel each raindrop with the dualsense! The sounds from the controller compliment the haptics to enhance the feeling as well.     As a game, it was delightfully charming. Astro is very adorable. The music is fun and the levels have may secrets to uncover. The game also serves as a tribute to Playstation history and is done very well.

    I highly recommend that new PS5 owners start with this game as it not only shows you what the console can do but amps you up to enjoy your new PS5. In fact, I almost feel like other launch games are lackluster as they don't utilize the full breadth of features of the dualsense. Astro's Playroom sets a high bar for future games.    … Expand

    It’s fun but it’s also easy. I don’t see it as a regular game anyways. It’s basically one big nostalgia trip for anyone in their 20s or older with fun little mechanics thrown in. From the controls to the environments and models, the game just looks and feels perfect and whoever programmed the Dualsense controller haptic feedback for this game deserves a raise.

    People view it as a demo for the ps5 but its a full game with amazing haptic feedback and graphics. Its such a nostalgic game for gamers who had the other playstation consoles. You will love it!

    in my opinion, is an excellent game which show capabilities of PlayStation 5, and is free, and is a nostalgic Easter eggs, the experience, immersion, on dual sense is phenomenal

The platforming, soundtrack, level design, atmosphere, haptic feedback are phenomenal. The combat leaves a bit to be desired, but is still responsive and satisfying.

    Astro's playroom is a wonderful short but sweet 3D platformer with tons of charm. It feels like a mix of Super Mario 3D World level design with tight controls and more unique environments. The theme of the game taking place inside your PS5 and having all of the major games being recorded there is a very cute concept and a good excuse to put in plenty of fanservice. And the best part is,Astro's playroom is a wonderful short but sweet 3D platformer with tons of charm. It feels like a mix of Super Mario 3D World level design with tight controls and more unique environments.     The game is a great example of how the controller can be utilised in gaming. I found myself numerous times smiling at what I was 'feeling' happening. It is a charming demo that oozes nostalgia and celebrates what the playstation was and has become. A must play, and a pleasure to play.

    With all around fantastic gameplay, graphics, design, and just overall fun, I’d argue that under different circumstances, this could have even been considered a game of the year contender. I never realized just how much the Sony PlayStation had influenced my life until I played this game.
