    It's ok. The constant references are cool, and the base platforming is rock solid, but the gimmicks (especially the monkey part) can get annoying. Its also incredibly short, running at only about 2 hours. Obviously this isn't a huge problem since you're not paying anything to get it, but don't expect it to keep you interested much longer than how long it'll take for a bigger and betterIt's ok.     Astro's Playroom is a 3D platformer that comes pre-installed on all PlayStation 5 consoles. It’s only a couple of hours long, but as a demonstration of the capabilities of the new Duel Sense controller and a celebration of the history of PlayStation its pretty effective.

    Sympathetic little game to introduce the PS5 player to his new console’s capabilities. Independently of that, the game has a great artistic direction and works very smoothly. It is quite short and will not keep you busy unless you want the platinum trophy, but SONY clearly nailed it if that is how they want to introduce their new hardware to us. Give it a try, it is free anyways and itSympathetic little game to introduce the PS5 player to his new console’s capabilities. Independently of that, the game has a great artistic direction and works very smoothly. Give it a try, it is free anyways and it offers a fair deal of fun and a fresh experience. However I cannot guarantee that you will not lose interest after a few hours playing this game. I understand that people are giving 9/10’s but I personally need to remain balanced and also acknowledge that despite it being a nice ‘gift’ from SONY, this game gets boring quite quickly and clearly tells you that this is it for the introduction of the console.     Great 3D platformer to showcase PS5 new controller. It is really simple and short game, but yet so fun to play and max out. Finding all the collectibles and references was a real joy. It is good to take a break from "real" grim titles like Cyberpunk, to just remind yourself what gaming really is about – joy and relax.
    Pros:
    + Music, levels, and characters are a real joy + Fun gameplay    Great 3D platformer to showcase PS5 new controller. It is really simple and short game, but yet so fun to play and max out.     Fun game and amazing for people that know they'll PlayStation history , I got a platinum it because I just enjoyed it that much and I cannot recommend it more it is free so you have no excuse not to play it

    I expected to hate it. I thought it was vapid shovelware but I was wrong. It is a charming love letter to the playstation's history and is a great demo of all of the new ps5 controller functions. The haptic feedback is great. You can feel the grass as you trot along, the wind as you struggle against it and the water as you dive in. I did not expect the poignant 'oof' moments this game gaveI expected to hate it. I thought it was vapid shovelware but I was wrong. I dare anyone to not be charmed by this. It gets a 6 on the basis that it is a tech demo but it is more than that would suggest. If they doubled the size and marketed it to kids it could be a huge hit.

    At first I didn't get the way I was supposed to play through this game and platformers are not really a favourite genre of mine so I didn't gel with it, but...

    Then I realised the order of things and surprisingly found myself quite enjoying the game. The graphics are bright, colourful and good and the use of the new controller's features add interest.     Its cool to see all the history of playstation and feels good to collect all that and have it in your game and the game is decent fun sometimes but beside that its not very good.     Juego sencillo y nada pretencioso pero que no tiene mucho que envidiarle a grandes clásicos de las plataformas.
    Lo más esencial es el cómo explota el DualSense, las mecánicas súper divertidas, y es lo que quiere ser, una especie de demo técnica para iniciar la consola, muy disfrutón y que está más que bien.
    Sí que es verdad que está un poco limitado de todo, en especial de duración y    Juego sencillo y nada pretencioso pero que no tiene mucho que envidiarle a grandes clásicos de las plataformas.
    Lo más esencial es el cómo explota el DualSense, las mecánicas súper divertidas, y es lo que quiere ser, una especie de demo técnica para iniciar la consola, muy disfrutón y que está más que bien.
    Sí que es verdad que está un poco limitado de todo, en especial de duración y mecánicas, además, gráficamente no explota para nada la consola, pero eso, es fácil, rápido y entretenido de jugar. No se le puede pedir más.

    · Cosas buenas: posiblemente sea la mejor forma de estrenar la PS5, todos los homenajes y guiños que tiene, y el uso del DualSense
    · Cosas malas: por desgracia, es muy corto, me gustaría seguir jugándolo. Gráficamente no es nada de otro mundo, y lo peor de todo: te deja con muchas ganas de más.
    · Conclusión: No hay mucho más para añadir, te lo pasas súper bien jugándolo pero se hace muy corto, aún así, es un "must" para estrenar la consola.    … Expand

    This game is a fun, engaging platformer. The only reason that my score is a 7 is because it is so short and, consequently, the mechanics aren’t given enough time to breathe and grow. I hope there is a full version coming out in the future; I guarantee that I will pay full price for it.

    So, ich habe mir am Montag endlich eine Playstation 5 gekauft und musste unbedingt den Controller und das Game testen. Ich muss sagen, der Controller ist richtig cool und das Game bringt es auch zum Vorschein. :)
    Das war es aber auch schon. Nette Demo mehr aber auch nicht.

    Gameplay: 9/10
    Grafik: 7/10
    Umfang: 5/10

    jajajaja jugue este juego cuando aun tenia la ps4 y en realidad esta entretenido para pasar el rato pero no creo que sea un 8 o un 9 ni un 10 así que le daré un 7, es muy bueno para jugar con la camara

    Teknoloji demosu nasıl olmalıdır ın tanımı bu oyun. 1-2 saat te biten bir oyun olmasına rağmen bu süreyi size dolu dolu geçirten bir oyun. Ayrıca ücretsiz.

    Platform ben fatto, ma molto breve e troppo semplice.
    E' da considerarsi una dimostrazione delle potenzialità del controller dualsense, più che un vero e proprio gioco.

    Best possible introduction to the PS5 console and the controller. Just play it right after plugging the console for the very first time. Also, really enjoyed a nostalgia trip to the past PS generations.

    A good tech demo for the PS5. Even if you are familiar with the hardware changes, it's still worth playing, especially if you have been a long time fan of Playstation.

    With all around fantastic gameplay, graphics, design, and just overall fun, I’d argue that under different circumstances, this could have even been considered a game of the year contender. I never realized just how much the Sony PlayStation had influenced my life until I played this game.

    Astro’s Playroom is way more than just a technological demo. It’s probably the best way to introduce players to the new DualSense controller. And it comes free with PlayStation 5. [Issue#308]
