    Super gutes Spiel, für einen sanften Einstieg auf die neue Konsolengeneration. Bin mit allen Sony Konsolen aufgewachsen, und diese Easter Eggs in dem Game sind einfsch der Hammer. Ich habe bei einigen Sounds Gänsehaut bekommen.

    Amazing game to be the first one played on PS5. It's enjoyable, funny and beautiful. Great showcase of dualsense that let's you discover all new functions of the controller. Every single option and secret gives you a huge satisfaction (personally I loved the idea for collectibles). It's much more than a showcase demo game. My first platinum trophy on PS5

    This sort of felt like an interactive museum. Really cool what they've done and a great way to show pride in their past and now present hardware. Makes me feel good about my investment in a ps5.

    It is a very fun platformer game. It perfectly showcases the PS5 controller new features. Walking with Astro through different surfaces (sand, ice, metal, etc.) is such a joy as you can somehow experience the textures through the combination of haptic feedback and the sound coming out from the control. If you are a PlayStation fan, the game will also give you a bit of nostalgia as youIt is a very fun platformer game. It perfectly showcases the PS5 controller new features.     When I read that this was a free game with the system I assumed it would be fun for about half an hour while other stuff installed then something I'd forget about, I was wrong. I played non-stop for 3-4 hours and still keep going back for more with the time trials.     Um prato cheio para donos de PS5. Um jogo lotado de Easter Eggs e muito gostoso se platinar pegando todos os colecionáveis. Pra quem nasceu ali depois dos anos 80 e antes dos anos 2000 e curtiu todas as gerações do PS vai amar esse game! A parte do controle é sensacional. É incrível a precisão do Feedback Háptico.

    I do not understand how it is possible for free basically PS5 test game to be so good. Better than most AAA games which utilizes best new feature from PS5 game pad. When you are on ice you are literally on ice. You have that feeling. Also, the game hits highest nostalgia levels. I hope there will be a sequel.

The music was absolutely banging (turn Jungle GPU up loud) and the PlayStation nostalgia was a wonderful touch. They went to lengths to explain that it was 'just a tech demo' but it's so much more... but also... WHAT a tech demo. TheI love this game so much.     Please play this game if you haven't already this game is a masterpiece. Every game developer should want to make their game like Astro's Playroom. After playing this game I do not think I will ever enjoy a game as much as this one right here.

    "Tech demo" is an insult to this gem. This is worthy to be called a game in and of itself. Short but oh so sweet, a good platforming with loads of nostalgic easter eggs. I really hope they make a full blown game with similar mechanics and gameplay. An easy 10/10

    After playing this game I had to sign up to metacritic to give a review. This might be the best game I ever played. The DualSense experience is pretty amazing while playing this game. The music is very uplifting and happy. This is a game we all need in 2020.

    And suddenly I wish Zelda BOTW was playable with DualSense.

    What a lovely start to the PS5 era!
    If you think this is purely a tech demo you’d be wrong, it does show off the magic of the dual sense controller which is the maybe the killer application this gen but it’s much more than this!
    A great little game and the music deserves a nod too and it’s a freebie.
    I loved it.

    This demo made me smile so much to the point my cheeks hurt.
    The characters are lovable, the Easter eggs are a joy, and the whole thing is nostalgic.
    Lastly, the gameplay is inventive and I'm just excited to see how future games will use these mechanics.
    If not, I can only hope they make a whole game out of this.

    This game was truly amazing. Getting the platinum for it as a long time playstation fan was well worth it and I was able to find and understand just about every Easter egg in the game. Truly a masterpiece and I want more from ASTRO. I want a full game or a sequel of some sort.

    This game is a true masterpiece, and a tribute for those who are long fans of Playstation. The Easter Eggs, the attention to detail, the game design, the haptic feedback, the art direction, along with soundtracks are things that makes this one of the best games I have ever played. It made me feel like a child again, back when games had another concept.

    Astro's Playroom serves as a showcase of both the PS5 console and the Dualsense controller, and does a wonderful job of such. The game takes full advantage of the controller's capabilities, from the haptic feedback that makes it feel like raindrops are falling on top of the controller to the adaptive triggers that make all of the gimmicks feel totally unique from one another. But if that wasn't enough, the game is also a complete joy to play through from beginning to end. I had a smile on my face the whole time during my first playthrough, and I'm not even a long-time PlayStation fan! There are only 4 levels (5 if you include the final boss fight), but they are all wonderfully designed, packed to the brim with easter eggs and interactive trophies you can collect, and each represent a part of the PS5 console while also serving as callbacks to each of the previous PlayStation consoles. If you're a long-time PlayStation fan, there will be so much here for you to appreciate with all the callbacks to various games and accessories, but even if you aren't, you can still enjoy this as a great 3D platformer with tight and smooth controls, creative level designs, and plenty of collectibles for 100% completion. I found all of the gimmicks throughout the stages to be a blast to utilize, even the ones that required tilting of the controller to progress, because the new technology of the Dualsense made the gimmicks feel all the more unique and special. (It also helps my case that I grew up with the Wii so I'm more accustomed to motion controls). There are a multitude of trophies spread throughout each level in addition to puzzle pieces that fill up a mural in the PlayStation Labo room, with the trophies on full display in the same room after you collect them. The coins you collect in each level can also be used in a lottery minigame that can get you more trophies or puzzle pieces, and it's a great crash course on all the kinds of PlayStation accessories that have been released throughout the years. There are even speedrunning levels you can play after beating a given stage, and they even feature entirely new level designs to accommodate the faster nature of speedrunning! The only negative thing I have to say about this game is that I felt that the sound design was rather loud at times, and I felt the need to turn the volume down at points due to such, but even that is just a nitpick I have with the game. Astro's Playroom accomplishes what it sets out to do so well that I honestly consider this to be one of the best games to come out in 2020 despite only being 3-4 hours long. If you manage to get your hands on a PS5 at retail price, please do yourself a favor and play this gift of a game.    … Expand

    (In my opinion of course), Astro Bot is a game brand that with each game shows the capabilities of each accessory and console that comes out of the brand game, for example the previous game of the brand Astro Bot Rescue Mission that came out on the PlayStation VR platform showed its capabilities and even showed that VR Can be an extraordinary experience. And now Astro's Playroom has arrived on the PlayStation 5 and showed us all the capabilities of the console and the new remote, in the new game you can find robots with camera caps and if we look at what they shoot we can see that they recreate excerpts from PlayStation games from all PlayStation long history. And consoles from PlayStation history.
    In short Astro's Playroom is an extraordinary experience that in my opinion anyone who buys a PlayStation 5 must play the game first or if there is anyone who has not played even though he has a PlayStation 5 must play, the game is an amazing experience not to be missed!!!    … Expand

    Astro`s Playromm ist ein extrem gutes Spiel, es setzt den Dualsense Controller richtig gut in Szene, spielerisch macht es mega Spaß und auch die Grafik ist wirklich sehr gut.
    Ich habe das Spiel mit einer Platin Trophäe durchgespielt und alleine das zeigt schon wie geil ich dieses Spiel fand, Astro fand ich schon im VR Ableger richtig gut, jetzt wo es aber auch ein Non Vr Spiel gibt, das    Astro`s Playromm ist ein extrem gutes Spiel, es setzt den Dualsense Controller richtig gut in Szene, spielerisch macht es mega Spaß und auch die Grafik ist wirklich sehr gut.
    Ich habe das Spiel mit einer Platin Trophäe durchgespielt und alleine das zeigt schon wie geil ich dieses Spiel fand, Astro fand ich schon im VR Ableger richtig gut, jetzt wo es aber auch ein Non Vr Spiel gibt, das dazu noch kostenlos auf jeder PS5 ist, sollte wirklich jeder PS5 Besitzer dieses Spiel spielen, wirklich extrem gut gelungen.

Every world is based after a part of the PS5 and the very end of every world represents a PlayStation console in some way. Let's say: at the end of Cooling Springs you are in a small area in which the skybox is the PS3 menu. Also spoilers I guess: the final boss is the tech demo from the PS1 that then turns into a green dinosaur. That is mind-blowing. It is too perfect. Like I just said, I wasn't a PlayStation fan before, but I have to appreciate all of the references, both trough game cameos and artifacts. This isn't a very long and difficult game, it will take you 5 hours at most to get the Platinum Trophy, but this is a goddamn techdemo. Even what we have here: 4 worlds and a final bossfight, tons of references, tons of collectables and all of the other trophies. This is an incredible game. Nintendo made us pay 50$ for a crappy joycon tech demo that you would have fun with for about 30 minutes, Meanwhile, Sony gave us an amazing 3D platformer for free and they put a lot of effort and love into it.     One of the best games of all time. It is short and there isn't any hardcore gaming going on but it's a fun platformer with great music that is a love letter to all things PlayStation. If you've grown up playing PlayStation, you'll love this game.

But honestly, the best part about the game is that it's a showcase for both the console and the controller since the game utilizes every single gimmick the controller has and it's creative and amazing what they could do with it.     Team Asobi has made one of the most underrated and fun platformer games ever! I LOVE ASTRO and love all the DualSense features, all the PS hardware, and game characters! I can't wait to play Team Asobi's next game!

    So much more than a tech demo. Through ingenious level design and heart-melting charm, it delivers the greatest love letter to video games yet seen. This could be the new standard for platform gaming - a masterpiece.

    Absolutely fantastic game, even better that it came free on the PS5 and showed so many of the fun things they've done with this console.

    The music/sounds are fantastic, it's a pretty easy platinum trophy, and down right just enjoyable to play.

    Amazing free game to welcome you to playstation 5. I loved it, couldn't stop playing, even tho' I'm not usually big on these types of games and prefer AAA.

    Astro's Playroom es un juego encantador, que perfectamente podría tener su propia franquicia dentro del género de plataformas. Es precioso de principio a fin, con una jugabilidad increiblememte precisa y cómoda. Muestra todas las posibilIdades del nuevo mando de PS5, creando una experiencia muy grata. Sin lugar a dudas, recomiendo a todo el mundo estrenar su PS5 con este juego.

    Perfect game to demonstrate the new dual sense controller, fun for anyone and perfect trophy list. I found myself in my 30s enjoying this game in its entirety.

    This game is a 10 but it’s more of a showcase rather than a game. I got the platinum in like 6 non stop hours because it was so enjoyable and interesting.

(except maybe the blowing on your controller thing, but if you mute it you skip that weirdness) it's pretty short, but almost every frame is filled with Easter eggs from PlayStation past. I completed the game in a couple of days and was left wanting more, that I'd have been willing to pay for!This game is absolutely wonderful. It highlights the features of the DualSense excellently!     I'm a sucker for a great 3D platformer. If only this game was a full blown game and not a tech demo. i liked this so much it was hard to play sackboy after which is also a great game. But this was just so good that it outdid sackboy and imo kinda sabotaged it by accident lol

    for a thech demo i'was shocked how good game it is. the game shows you the dualsense controller abilities and new technologies. easily the best demo i ever have played for sure 10/10 :D

    Super good, a lot of fun to play and more than just a demo. It may be short (3-6 hours I'd say), but it's still a full game, and the best part is that it's free and already comes preinstalled on the PS5. If you do happen to get hold of one, you should definitely play this.

    Easily one of the greatest games on PS5. It looks amazing and its a simple techdemo for the PS5. My only gripe is that I wish the story was just a bit longer as you can easily finish this in at most, 2 hours. Other than that, this is a 10/10 game and easily one of the greatest games Sony has released.

    With all around fantastic gameplay, graphics, design, and just overall fun, I’d argue that under different circumstances, this could have even been considered a game of the year contender. I never realized just how much the Sony PlayStation had influenced my life until I played this game.

    Astro’s Playroom is way more than just a technological demo. It’s probably the best way to introduce players to the new DualSense controller. And it comes free with PlayStation 5. [Issue#308]
