    Played this well into the early hours. My only minor criticism is for game-play, the platforming-like climbing is mostly linear and gets a bit repetitive at times and I find in some ways the shooting and killing multiple bad guys feels a bit out of character for this cheerful adventuring rogue, but thats a video game trope I guess.

Maybe that's what that author was going for - more readers and subscribers of the Washington Post just so that they could get the "shock factor".     Amazing title with visuals that make you stop in the middle of action and look around. Story is top notch and really, if you are on the fence, go out and buy it right now.

    Best game of the new generation, they were able to improve what was already very good, all expectations were surpassed with wonderful graphics, great gameplay and an amazing story, I can set this game as a must for anyone who has ums PS4. . . . .

    I honestly don't understand why a lot people on here just create an account to give this game a 0. Rating this game any less than an 8 is absolutely redundant. This is literally one of the best experiences that I have ever been amerced in, in my life. The graphics are awesome. The game play is awesome. The story is awesome.     This game is one of a kind. Its a masterpiece, Ignore all of the fake 0/10 reviews trying to bring down the user score and enjoy it. Graphics, Gameplay and Story are all absolutely amazing.

These games will grip you emotionally (a game in which you truly care about the characters), while staying massively engaging in game play (I love feeling like I AM the lead in an blockbuster film). If all of that seems a bit vague and hyperbolic, you're right, as I would be stealing the experience from you if I discussed much more in detail. I generally have a rule that I don't pay more than a dollar per hour of play that I'll get out of a game, but here I happily make an exception. It's worth every penny.

    Do your homework first. If you don't enjoy climbing, puzzles, or longer cinematics with A-grade acting and motion-capture, then go play DOOM and don't waste everyone else's time with a 0 rating review. There's a little thing called the Internet that has plenty of information to help you find out if this is your genre. This is the juncture between video games and movies, not exploding heads and over-the-top monsters. I can't wait to see Naughty Dog at the next intersection.    … Expand

    Quite plainly an exhilarating, but thoughtful experience that pushes to the limit what an action game can be. Trust Naughty Dog. They've learnt a lot from this series and its a satisfying conclusion that builds on previous entries as well as the Last of Us.

    I used to think that I needed to buy a $5,000 high end PC just to experience the best graphics in a game. Now for only $300+, Sony and Naughty Dog has allowed me to experience the ultimate gaming nirvana. Never have I seen such mind blowing graphics in a game, perfect animation and cutscenes which do not disengage from gameplay. This is not just a game, its a work of pure art.     Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is unbelievable, jaw-dropping, and, quite possibly, the best video game ever made. Everything about it is just perfect, as I always had a smile while playing it.

    An essential purchase for the PS4. Incredible graphics with Incredible game play backed up with a really good story that makes this series go out on a high. Not many games make me want to play through again straight after finishing but this one certainly did.

    I think this is my favorite in the series. the second game was a tighter package and slightly larger set pieces but the writing, story, and characters are better than they have ever been in uncharted 4. the set pieces and action sequences are amazing and maybe aren't as large in scale as other ones, but there is a lot more going on in these sequences and are more exciting than previousI think this is my favorite in the series. the second game was a tighter package and slightly larger set pieces but the writing, story, and characters are better than they have ever been in uncharted 4. the set pieces and action sequences are amazing and maybe aren't as large in scale as other ones, but there is a lot more going on in these sequences and are more exciting than previous ones, thats something I didn't think was going to be achievable. these sequences were so good that during these moments I just had the hugest smile on my face. the developers added enough to keep the gameplay from getting old, a problem that I felt was present in the 3rd game. the addition of the grappling hook was awesome, nothing made me feel more badass than using it to dive bomb an enemy undetected. speaking about being undetected the option to go stealth and not attack if you wanted to was a great addition, even though it was fairly simple mechanics. Even little things like being able to double team a bad guy with the other characters when beating them down was awesome and the little side conversations you could have or not have like in the last of us were things I really appreciated and added to the emersion. despite all this, the biggest thing this game does right is the story, it is extremely emotionally investing, and I appreciate that they do this without being gloomy like so many other titles. there are so many games that try to provoke emotion by being dark and depressing that its refreshing to have a story that's actually very light hearted in tone but still hits you in the heart. not to say that aren't sad moments, this game focuses strongly on betrayal, obsession, and letting go but it still manages to keep you laughing and smiling most of the way through. I was never bored for a second, but I can see the replay value not being that strong in the first couple chapters. best villian yet in the series in my opinion because not only was the villain a complete scum bag you could also understand why he does the things he does and even empathize with him, infact hes not to different from nathan drake, they happen to have alot in common. I cant talk to much more about the gaem without going into spoiler territory so ill just say that this is easily game of the year for me so far with dark souls 3 alomost on par. the perfect uncharted game… Expand

    I finished it today and I can safely say it's the best of the series, Naughty Dog have improved every aspect of the game, most notably the visuals which are incredible. What's more impressive is the fact the game runs so well with those visuals, for the record I'm a "60fps guy" and 30fps usually hurts games for me but not this time, the devs did an amazing job of making 30fps feel smootherI finished it today and I can safely say it's the best of the series, Naughty Dog have improved every aspect of the game, most notably the visuals which are incredible. What's more impressive is the fact the game runs so well with those visuals, for the record I'm a "60fps guy" and 30fps usually hurts games for me but not this time, the devs did an amazing job of making 30fps feel smoother than it ever has with impressive motion blur and a mostly stable frame rate. When it's hitting its target it feels very fluid but it does have random slowdown at times and it's really noticeable when it happens because the game runs so well most of the time, sadly this slowdown happens during the final chapter and it really did taint the ending for me.

    The gameplay has also been improved, it just feels much better to play, especially when aiming and during melee combat. The devs even "stole" a little something from Tomb Raider where you can insert your climbing pick into porous walls, it's a small detail but it makes the climbing sections have a little more depth.

    I have never felt so attached to the characters on screen before, the feels were definitely brought this time, and because the visuals were so incredible everyone felt so real. It won't have you crying like The Last of Us, but the emotion was there this time when it has been lacking in the past.

    Overall the game was brilliant, a true technical marvel but far more than that. Oh and if you didn't know it comes with a fully fledged multiplayer mode with multiple modes, a good selection of maps and countless unlockables to keep you busy, it's actually a lot of fun and adds quite a bit of value to your purchase so you should definitely check it out after finishing the campaign.    … Expand

    Uncharted 4 is a great ending chapter to Drakes story. Naughty Dog has done an amazing job wrapping up the story for most if not all of the main characters, and possibly even setting up a new character to start a new game with.

    As far as story goes, it feels great. I love all the little cut scenes as Drake as he copes with a normal life.     As far as story goes, it feels great. I love all the little cut scenes as Drake as he copes with a normal life. You can really tell that him and Elena miss the adventurous life they both used to live. There is a scene early on in the game where you two sit down on a couch and just talk about things. This may seem slow to some but it felt awesome to me. They do a great job setting up both the story to come and in the past. Now as far as the plot driver, your brother, who has mysteriously never been mentioned before, I felt he was a bit forced in as a character, but Naughty Dog does set up a good reason as why he hasn't been around. Even so he does feel weak as a character to previous characters in the last 3 games. The villain of the game i felt was the best of the 4 games, though the previous villains always felt like weak characters as well.

    As far as the game play, it is fun but i feel inventive. Something about the cover just doesn't feel right after playing another Naughty Dog game, Last of Us. Sometimes you will just get stuck on cover when you want to move around to a different side or switch from one to another. I wish this was improved on from the previous games. Another issue with the cover in this game in particular is that they really wanted to show off how great this game looks, and trust me it looks breathtaking. Almost every cover that you come across in the game is destructible. Why is that bad you ask me? Well read on about some of the harder difficulties below.

    The gun play feels just as good as Last of Us or other third person shooters like Gears of War, but what kills the action for me is the AI. Both your companion and the enemy AI are very unimpressive. Most enemies will stand out in the open just shooting you, or lobbing grenade after grenade. As the game progresses you will come across shot-gunners and mini-gun guys. They are heavily armored and all they will do is walk slowly to you, even in the open. Other enemies will just rush you, sometimes with more powerful weapons and easily kill you. Most sections you will start out on one of the destructible covers i had mentioned earlier and with the limited ammo you have you cant really take your time as one side you are being pushed and the other just endlessly shoots your cover quickly destroying it. Now don't get me wrong, i love a challenging game, and of course there are easier modes that can be selected, but the actual AI does not try to get you out of cover by moving cover to cover and flanking you, they more just run at you and continually shoot at you.

    Another disappointment is that they had added a grenade throwback feature in Uncharted 3, but it is missing once again here. This would of been a really nice feature as enemies will throw them at you....endlessly.

    A few things they have added is a rope to swing to new cliffs, making you feel like Tarzan, and a pick that you can stab into some cliffs to climb up, but it doesn't feel as open as the climbing pick from Tomb Raider.

    Overall, the reason I play the Uncharted games were for the story, characters, visuals and environment, but the combat leaves something to be desired. The combat is not bad, I just feel it was done better in other Naughty Dog and third person shooters.

    If you have played the first 3 or enjoy fantastic characters and story, this is a must by for PS4 owners.

The graphics are absolutely mind-blowing, for the first time ever I had to stop in a game to actually adore the beauty of the settings. The settings and scenes are diverse, the characters are extremely well-written and easy to like, especially the newAbsolute masterpiece from Naughty Dog once more. Uncharted 4 gives a beautiful to one of the best video game series there has ever existed. The graphics are absolutely mind-blowing, for the first time ever I had to stop in a game to actually adore the beauty of the settings. The settings and scenes are diverse, the characters are extremely well-written and easy to like, especially the new addition of Rafe is well done, the storytelling could come straight from a Hollywood Movie. The controls could use a little work though, sometimes you roll instead of hiding and some other jump sequences are not that crisp.

    Naughty Dog gifts us with new jump and stealth sequences, the enemy sequences therefore get a lot more entertaining. Enemies are my only critic in this game though, their design is boring, you meet the same enemies way too often. They also appear at weird points in the story and it seems like they are just there so you do not have an easy to walk through game and are not really fitting into the story.

    All in all there is not much more you could do to make this game better than it is - if you have a PS4 - buy Uncharted 4!    … Expand

    I don't want to add spoilers, if you know the series, this is more of the same to a clearly higher spec. A few sequences in the game were literally the most impressive graphics I've ever seen in this generation. The action runs alongside such brilliant voice acting and landscapes that I wish I could wake up in. Just beautifully done.

    I am struggling to understand what some gamers expect from an Uncharted game, and as to how the hell anyone can rate this game a 7/10 or below, let alone a ZERO. Another game viciously hit by sulking xbox gamers perhaps? People moaning about cut-scenes - there's a button to skip them!! That said, i didnt skip a word, by chapter 7 I was so deeply hooked in lore, characters and events that I wanted to watch every doubt roll across drakes face, or every skit of banter between the gang. It really is so immersive as it's so brilliantly written and executed.

    I never fancied Uncharted 1 and 2 back in PS3 days, no idea why, I was hooked on other games and felt the series wasn't for me, without playing them. Probably a lot to do with its negative reviews from tw@s saying its a movie you click buttons in occasionally. I got Uncharted 3 first after completing The Last of Us and having that void in my life for naughty dog games immediately afterwards (which is very much present right now after uncharted 4). Very few games grip me this way, stories twists and character development leave me often speechless, and eager to see whats coming next.

    The mechanics are not a million miles from U3. The shooting mechanic has vastly improved and the AI seems a lot brighter, often charging or flanking to compromise cover. This results in a more active shooting experience than I recently played in the tomb raider new games. As I progressed I really pushed the limits and by chapter 13, I found myself using anything in the scenery to swing from to get a new advantage point. On a harder level, this really pays off and looks extremely cool at the same time!

    I just dont have anything negative to say about this game. It's well written, made with a lot of love, made with fans in mind, polished to an extremely high standard - to date - the best the PS4 has to offer, and it is very VERY fun to play. I'm glad I waited for a price drop, but I'd have bought it at £55 had I known it would be so darn good!

    Ignore the trolls, Xbone fanboys and idiots... this game is a masterpiece. 10/10 all day long    … Expand

I am not even finished yet with the story (Chapter 5) but I have enjoyed it so much already. It feels like a movie.     This game is worth every penny. Please disregard any naysayers that tell you any different. A beautiful game with a fun and adventurous story. The controls are responsive, the graphics are polished and the character development is ON POINT! I cannot praise the last iteration of the franchise enough. Thank you for listening.

Read some reviews for that. If you enjoyed the previous installments, you'll adore this game. It's the best in the series, with insane graphics, a cool villain, lovable characters, more diverse and fun gameplay it'sHere's the thing. Reviews are useless for this game.     Naughty Dog did an amazing job on this game. When you finish it you actually feel like that's how it was supposed to finish. There isn't a reason it shouldn't have finished like that. Fallout couldn't do it, batman couldn't do it. No game on/off the market could do what Uncharted 4 has done and I don't think any game ever will. TLOU was great but the only people you really pay attention to is Ellie and Joel. In this game you care about everyone. Henry Avery, Nathan drake, Elena, Sully, Sam, Charlie, Chloe, Rafe, Nadine. The fact that I actually remember the villans shows how amazing and how big of an impact this game actually made. You feel for every one of these characters and even if Henry Avery isn't physically in the game you still want more of that character and you actually want to discover the treasure and you actually want to keep on playing until you figure out what happens. In most games you probably want to play as the same character but do something totally different than what the story actually makes you do. In this game I felt hooked and I didn't want it to be another adventure and even though the ending was unpredictable I didn't feel like it was forced or like it didn't have to happen in all honesty i'm very excited that it did happen and it's probably one of the best endings to a SERIES in gaming history. There will always be another 10/10 game but there will never be another Uncharted. No game can even try to come close to how this game is. There's always gonna be FPS games and 3rd person shooter games but I don't think there will ever be a game like t his. Uncharted 4 deserves a 10/10 game and in my opinion it is one of the best games I've ever played, no It is THE BEST GAME i've ever played. This is why I give uncharted 4 a 10/10.… Expand

    Naughty Dog does it again. With all the hype surrounding this game, i can't believe that ND had lived up to it and even delivered better than expected. This is a more matured game when compared to other Uncharted games. Looking forward to more greatness from ND. MUST BUY for all PS4 users.

    Incredible game! Wish there was more combat but overall I loved it. Very immersive game. The aiming felt way better and I loved the climbing sections. Yeah the crates got overused a lot but overall the game is wonderful

    Naughty Dog has made yet another visually perfect game along with movie quality cut scenes and storyline. It is filled with action and is an emotional journey. The music is astounding as well, i would strongly recommend this game.

    This game is the most beautiful game realease so far in the PS4. I do not undertand why people give it a zero. This is my humble opinion:

    The gameplay is fun, the grapichs are stumbling, the story is exceptional. This is excellent action adventure game para esta generation. The olnly complaint I have is the cover system.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. first off id like to say ignore any reviews that give this game a 0, im not saying it cant have bad scores but people saying its just too much like the older games or has a lackluster story (in their opinion) and then giving it a 0 or 1 is ridiculous. Even if you dont like a game, it does not deserve a 0, especially when you can tell the amount of effort that went into this game. ( there was one review that said naughty just gets praised for graphics and is taking away from lesser known studios who actually put work in to make a game and that one in particular irked me a bit)
    anyway, as for my opinion the game is great i mean uncharted has always been a game that was known for crazy set peice action and good characters, but in this game the focus is shifted towards the story a bit more and i think it pays off for fans. I loved the other games, but getting to see more of nates backstory and finding out he has a brother, it was great. It may not be as good for someone new to the series as it starts a bit slower, and is a little slower towards the end ( neither parts are too slow to where is lost interest though) and if you're new you've probably heard about how awesome the set pieces are so you may be dissapointed to see less of those and more focus on the story. However, i think the story is setup well for fans and newcomers, so the game is still great for both. No spoilers in this but i just want to touch on the ending, not the epilogue although it was great. The part where you have you're final encounter with Rafe (not a spoiler, i mean most games end with an encounter with the antagonist), i just wanted to give my thoughts as ive heard mixed feelings about it. I thought it was good, it was very cinematic and caps off rafes character as you see him have like outbursts of anger throughout the game, then he just goes like crazy, while still being like a cocky rich douche with the dialogue during it. The fact that it was kind of a QTE (although its not full on qte) didnt bother me either. I mean what did you want, just Nate running around shooting a bullet sponge? rafe is a normal guy, whose rich and being involved in fencing makes sense) so a sword fight i thought was great, no dumb stealth thing where you had to like flank him and if you went out of stealth you like died instantly. I was fine with it though as even though it was a bit more story focused, its still uncharted where all this crazy **** happens, and tons of things go wrong, but theres a happy ending.     again ignore those people who give it a 0, i mean even if people dont believe its a 10 (and i could see why as there are flaws, i.e box pushing, they just werent enough to deter me from giving it a 10) its not a 0 game by any stretch of the imagination, i mean at its worst id say i could see someone giving it a 7 but any lower than that id say there just ****ting on a game was hyped up, regardless of the fact that for most people it delivered. The gunfights are good, and there is a decent amount of guns to use. Some weapons are much better than others though, which isn't really much of a bad thing. The hand-to-hand combat isn't the best and is kinda dull but its not to often. The stealth is simple yet fun. The puzzles are either really hard or really easy but there pretty cool. I have to admit the parkour/climbing isn't all that great and is kinda boring ant too often. But I love the swinging. Its super fun swinging around and killing guys like rambo/spiderman/tarzan/indianajones. The story is great and makes you care about the characters. My only problem is that Sam doesn't appear in any of the other games and you can tell they had to find a way to fit him into the story. But you'd think that since Sam was such an important part in Nathan's life he would have at least been mentioned in other games. Oh well, still a great story. Another thing that bugged me (like I mentioned before) was the boring parkour parts especially towards the end of the game I started getting really bored with the parkour. The multiplayer is pretty fun, but I wouldn't get this game just for the multiplayer. If anybody gives this game a bad review they should be whipped with a giant wet noodle. Definitely worth $60 Thats it. The game may not be perfect but I'm still gonna give it a 10/10 cuz its so good.    … Expand

    From a Naughty Dog standpoint, I preferred The Last of Us but I find it hard to compare the two.

    An important note: I had a really cool revelation when playing that I was acknowledging an NPS as an actual person. Without giving anything away, there is a character that is rather pissed at Drake. I found myself avoiding hunting for the treasure collectibles to ease his/her demeanor.

    I'm excited to see what is next for Naughty Dog. I likely would've given this game a 10 if i had the nostalgia factor.    … Expand

I give this game a 10/10 because the graphics are insane and are hands down the best on PS4.(I don't think anyone can argue with me there) The story line is rich and it is full of surprises. Well, to be serious, as a player who played the first 3 games of the series, this game is the perfect ending you could ever give to the legendary Nathan Drake on his adventuring games. The perfect formula to do it? Well just let him team up with his long lost older brother Sam and have them start and adventure to find the treasure they dream of getting in their childhood days. The campaign gives you a very good pace of how the story moves, from the prologue's adrenaline rush chasing to the end's somewhat relaxing and laid back tone. All in all, The guys who made The Last of Us also made another Masterpiece in Naughty Dogs. A 10/10 for sure in this aspect.

    Gameplay - The game borrowed some elements from the Tomb raider series using that rope mechanic in platforming. However. Its not that really bad since the game used it in very complex areas of the game. The gameplay of the series gives you a perfect blend of various and different gameplays we all gamers experienced and played like the game Signature platforming where we accustomed to see how Drake's athleticism easily get by those many traps, there is also a shooter based mechanic, a melee combat which obviously borrowed from TLOU, Stealth, chasing sequences and exploration. As a gamer, its really nice to enjoy all that in a single game. A good 10/10 again for me.

    Multiplayer - Now for me, I think Naughty Dog just put this in here so that you know, Gamers can have multiplayer in the game. Its not bad though tbh, But its not that good either. The modes could get funny sometimes and interesting but the single player campaign really is the strength of the game. An ok 8/10 for me.

    Sorry. Its my principle to never give a perfect score. There are no perfect games for me. Everything has a weakness even how small. Regardless, An obvious GOTY contender of the year if not THE Leading of the pack for that award. A memorable and epic experience was given to us by Naughty Dog for an ending of a beloved franchise.     This game is absolutely a masterpiece. The characters and plot are all very intriguing and the graphics are top notch. The moment I started playing this game, I could not put it down. I would recommend it to anyone who has not played it. I'll be looking forward to what Naughty Dog has in store next. I would definitely give this one a 10/10.

    This game is truly fantastic in terms of storytelling and character development. Various new gameplay elements are added. Though it is not perfect overall and it might be a 9 for me, I am going to give a 10 here to balance those unreasonable "0 score" reviews out there. It is funny to see someone saying this game's graphics is average.

    Amazing game. It has some of the best graphics/acting/sound/storytelling I've seen, and this includes gaming on a high end gaming pc. The voice acting is amazing and it's a fitting end to the uncharted series. This is the only developer left, that goes crazy about details on this level, and you can really feel the love and attention this game got during its development.

    This is good final game in a series of fun action adventure games. I can see that not everyone would be into this, lots of cut-scenes and a bit light on game play in the first 6 chapters. Many levels are kind of linear. But the art direction, graphics, story, acting, controls, AI, and script are as good as I have seen in a video game. I am enjoying it a lot.

    I have yet to play a game I would give a 0 too. This is about as far from a 0 as it gets. Not everyone has to like it, but giving a this game a zero is total stupidity!    … Expand

    Best graphics I have seen on the current gen consoles, absorbing story, great game-play, the gun mechanics have greatly improved and sound awesome. Yet to try Multiplayer but the single player campaign is 9/10

    This by far and away hands down the greatest game i have ever played in my life! The graphics, the gameplay, animations, the audio quality just plain makes other developers look lazy. Naughty dog once again shows why they are the best there is and nobody can even come close to what they do.

    Amazing game, I am not a big uncharted fan, but this uncharted is a master piece in its technical side , graphics are very impressive, null load times and very stable fps. The work is big and so beautiful that you really enjoy searching for notes or treasures.

    Obviously this game is worth a 10 and that's just for the singleplayer campaign, the multiplayer is not the best but that's not why people are buying this. The story, characters and graphics are topnotch.

Not only is this the best game of the current console; it's also the game that other companies will have to reach for. This is the game that we, the PS4 owners, have been waiting for.

    The game is perfect in every way. Just do yourself a favor and buy it. It's the best game since "The last of us" if you ask me. Both are on the top of my list.

    Played the story non-stop + one more time after that (speed trophy). Wasn't even tired after it.

    In terms of work and quality, Uncharted 4 easily follows Uncharted 2 as far as the storyline goes, and how that storyline is presented (cutscenes; environments; voice acting; motion capture, etc). To me, Uncharted 4 is a sad, sad gem of a game. I say gem, because it is one of the best games in the PS4/PS3 lifetimes; that's 10 years so far. I say sad, because, well, it is a game born at a time when many gamers want for games to become like a sport: compete, compete, compete. Others want games to replace their reality: VR. And others just want games to be portable, quirky, odd, cartoony fun. Uncharted does not fit into this schema. (SPOILER ALERT) If you are old enough and paid attention, the little easter egg from NaughtyDog found in the game's beginning and epilogue was put there, if anything (beside gauging gamer demand for a return), for gamers who have grown up with the studio to see how a simple platformer featuring a wacky orange tornado creature-man-thing gave rise to the original Uncharted and, eventually, Uncharted 4.

    For those who may be confused, simply pay attention to how the game mechanics work... the way that, despite how movie-like the game is and has always been, enemies always seem to work like an old classic video game, in that "shooting gallery" style, and not, for example, like how they work in other 3rd person shooters. Despite all its polishing and great storyline, at its core, Uncharted 4 is still an incredibly beautiful 3rd person platformer. I point this out because so many have called it a "climbing simulator." Of course it is! All 3d platformers are "climbing simulators."

    After all is said and done, however, I cannot blame Naughty Dog if some people came to Uncharted 4 from "Last of Us." The two games are more different than they are similar and, no, it's not just the "zombie" thing; Uncharted has had "zombies" in the past. It's definitely the climbing. It's definitely the humor. It's definitely the climbing and the humor. For all intents and purposes, the Uncharted Series never took itself too seriously - except that part in Uncharted 2 where the whole village is decimated and everyone dies - and I'm glad Uncharted 4 provided a decently long, fun game with an engaging, simple storyline. For those who like more in-depth storylines, however, please do pay attention as you play to some of the more "thematic symbolism" in the story. Yes, if you are willing, Uncharted 4 provides a few underlying metaphors which eventually lead to the question Nathan, and anyone with great ambition, must ask themselves: What exactly is it all for in the end?

    Perhaps too existential...? Thankfully, the question is only placed before you for a quick moment; this IS a video game after all.

    To sum up - in a time when companies are dismembering video games for the sake of money and every best-selling game seems to be owned by EA or Activision/Blizzard, it was quite refreshing to "come out of the water" one final time - so to speak - with "Nate the Great."    … Expand

Not sure why there are any negative reviews, certainly people are entitled to their opinion and they could pick faults with the game, but really this is an amazing piece of work by Naughty Dog. Sets new standards in story telling and world building. Really happy with the way the game and overall story of Nathan Drake is brought to a close. Heres hoping for some DLC to closeFantastic game.     I never thought I would like other uncharted games more than Uncharted 2. But this is the one. For me, it is better than the second one and that is saying a lot. The game is excellent - fun gameplay, great story, good challenge. Started another playthrough because I enjoyed it so much. It was a great way to end the series.

Animations are phenomenal(both face and movements). Also I can clearly see impact from Last Of Us. That part has more emotions and more dramatic than predecessors. Gameplay is fantastic. In previous parts I didn't really like shooter part of the game but here I want even more of that. And oh man that chase part from E3 gameplay trailer is another level of action in games. Only one thing that I found weak is puzzles they are brainless. But is not gonna change that fact that is the best game on PS4 and best game of that generation.     From start to finish you are immersed in this game. The only thing I can say is PERFECT! ND and crew is what developers should strive to be. So much detail, the story is A1, and also the game play is absolutely fun and enjoyable. The only thing that I was bothered with is the multiplayer side not having a progression system, but that's just me nitpicking. That doesn't take away the fun ofFrom start to finish you are immersed in this game. The only thing I can say is PERFECT! ND and crew is what developers should strive to be. I played through 1 and 2 last 2013 and had a blast especially with Uncharted 2. When I got the PS4 I bought the Uncharted Collection to complete Uncharted 3. It's a wonderful work of art, combining the highest levels of sound design, lighting, cinematography and gameplay interactivity to tell a truly compelling story. It is truly remarkable how they have managed to tell a much more grounded story this time, within the same world.Uncharted 4, tells the perfect pulp adventure story.     Great ending to Drakes story, looks lovely plays is smooth. With no noticeable stuttering, easily going to be one of 2016's top games.

This game has some of the best graphics I have ever seen on console, great shooting, puzzles, and exploration, and an enjoyable story which kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the game.     Naughty Dog is just one of those devs who reliably and consistently create high quality games. From the get-go Uncharted 4 is an adrenaline packed adventure. If you are familiar with Among Thieves I'd say this one is as good if not better, with added tools to enhance gameplay and a new and interesting take of the life and character of Nathan Drake. This is one gorgeous game!

    The Washington Posts review is a huge outlier that should be removed, it just looks stupid and unnecessary. The lowest review score before that was an 80, then it just drops to a 40, his opinion obviously isn't valid considering every other reviewer disagrees with him.

Game play is seamless, and controls smoother than anything yet. The new mechanics are polished, and feel like they've been there since the first installment. And the graphics are just.. honestly unreal, so much so i shed a tear myself in a specific area. These are the best graphics on console of all time. Nothing can compare. If you have a PS4, you will have the time of your life with UC4.

    Stating that the forthcoming game will be the last rendezvous with a popular, charismatic hero is a rare phenomenon. I congratulate Naughty Dog on their courage and in spite of myself keep my fingers crossed for them to stick to their decision. The farewell party they threw for Nate is simply spectacular. This is how I want to remember him, not as an old man who rubbed his joints with pain cream and then found a UFO. Uncharted 4 is a brilliant game and a breathtaking demonstration of what PS4 is capable of. [07/2016, p.56]
