This game is very cool It fixed many of the problems destiny had my only small complaint is that becoming rouge in the dark zone is not really worth it so it kinda takes away the the whole pvp part but the game is still very fun and I look forward to becoming lvl 30 would rate a 9.5 but I am leaning towards a ten!

So far crafting has saved me money during leveling and isn't crazy complex. Expand

P.S.- the matchmaking process sucks, but hopefully it will be fixed soon.

A lot of the early reviewers here seem to have not taken the time to actually play past the beginning of the game. This game is far from original, but draws upon what makes many other games great. As a former destiny player, I have been looking for something like this. The dark zone alone justifies the cost, and the story is better than expected.

The Division is a spectacular combination of RPG, FPS, and MMO mechanics in a well thought-out package, which should appeal to a broader audience than Destiny. - Story is a little thin
    Positives:
    - Epic coop, especially Dark Zone and Missions on hard (I haven't played challenge yet)
    - Super atmosphere
    - Nice RPG-elements (character tuning)
    - Motivation loot system

I'm loving it! Keep delivering DLCs pls.

    How could such a game deserve a 0 ?
Even the new Street Fighters which is a total failure doesn't deserve such an insulting grade.

The immersion of the single player exploration, the rush of looting in DZ, the level design, graphics, details, lighting, day-night and weather cycles, the story. I feel that this game does not have a single element that is mediocre or poor. And as a whole, it is what I always look for in games: believable, open worlds with great exploration and gameplay.

There are a few places that need improvement though: comparing weapons should also include DPS without any attached mods - comparing currently equipped, modded weapon with a newly found un-modded one is meaningless. There are a few technical glitches - I got stuck in a corner behind a door, had to fast-travel to get out the trap ;), and sometimes in single player I hear (for fractions of a second) what seems to be voices of other players.

The Division is the best game I have played in a while. Sure there are a few bad things. Leveling could be better and the stat system "especially DPS" is glitchy but overall it is an amazing game. I can't put the controller down because the thought of getting new better loot is too enticing. The Division is a great game and I can't wait for the free updates and the dlc.

Although there are a few glitches in the game, it is to be expected but updates will solve these issues. While playing this game, I actually feel like a jason bourne type of agent. This is a deep mmo shooter rpg with a lot of content, unlockables, outfits, mods, weapon types, leveling skills.
The main thing that I love about it, is that it is a tactical shooter. Spray and pray will not help you. You need to use your surroundings to your advantage and there are different ways to conquer your foes. You can climb your way up on scaffoldings and shoot from above. If you are in a team of players/npcs you can also flank your enemy while your allies draw aggro. It's very similar to gears of war in that sense.
The only thing that dissapoints me with this game is the character customisation at the start. It is very limited for an rpg game. You have a few customised faces, and just a few hairstyles and facial hair types. The tattoos are only on the neck and the war paints are basic. You can't even choose your body type (I wanted to be a muscle bound guy). Secondly, You have these emoticon things (applaud, salute, clap, ask for help and jumping jacks). Now why the hell would you have jumping jacks?! Couldn't we have something cool like pushups??
Anyway, the game is still in its infancy and knowing ubisoft, there will be plenty of updates and dls.
My advice to you is get the game. It's worth every penny

That's the essential nature, and essential problem, of The Division's underlying structure. It's asking you to hunt gear with no tangible reward in terms of what you can do, how you do it, or what you look like doing it. [May 2016, p.108]

It builds a strong foundation on the gameplay front, offering up rewarding combat and simple skills, but doesn’t follow that with anything substantial, being content to let the standard end game grind and excellent-yet-stressful PVP try to cover all the questions its writing leaves you with.
