    it's sad to see another instinct where a game does not live up to the Hype. The game is nothing more than a cash grab and a pointless grind. Vanilla Destiny had a better story than this.... The game adds nothing new to the shooter formula let alone to video games at all. All the delays for what? to build more hype? What a shame. DO NOT BUY.

    An absolutely terrible game. Not the game they advertised: Massive downgrade - last gen graphics, horrible gun mechanics, cheap sound. Generic in just about every way possible with zero innovation. Biggest fail since Watch Dogs. Nice looking backpacks though.

    This was one of those games I was looking forward to for months. I pre-ordered it and everything! When starting the gameplay on Tuesday, there was all of the excitement that goes with it. The game started a little slow with similar missions but most games have "training" period so I remained confident that it would soon pick up. After a few more hours of gameplay, sadly it didn't get much better. All of the missions have a grinding, monotonous feel. Also, it takes a full 2 clips of ammo to take down “easy” rioters that can kill you in 2 shots. I knew this was an MMO from the start, but the game really forces you into playing with others as some missions you just can’t get past alone. Sometimes I just like to go Han Solo and not HAVE to rely on others to help me out, you know? Hopefully, an update/patch can fix that for people who like unaccompanied play too.… Expand

    More cheap console dirt. This game is clearly not optimized for PC. For a hardcore gamer, this game lacks content, creativity and style.
    - Darkzone is a cheap copy of games like Rust and DayZ. Run around, kill others, loot the same spot over and over, get to the helicopter, wait, wait, bring stuff home, wait again for more stuff to bring home.     - Leveling and "Roleplay" System is basic, at most. The Skills read good but their effects are underwhelming.

    Get this game if it gets on sale for 20$. Full Price, this game lacks of content, originality and fun. There are Indie Games which have more to offer for less money. Also, don't listen to publisher driven hype trains and bought reviews.    … Expand

    Very repetitive and lacks story. Doesn't connect your actions to the whole of the game very well. Seems to focus more on continued combat and grinding then on story development.

    Everyone is comparing this game to Destiny but should really be comparing it to Diablo 3. It's basically Diablo 3 with guns and minus any semblance of creativity or imagination. Maybe that's your thing? If not, too bad because you won't find any here. If you are new to duck and cover shooters, you are going to have a bad time since the tutorial is severely lacking. Maybe that's your thing? If not, too bad because you won't find any here. If you are new to duck and cover shooters, you are going to have a bad time since the tutorial is severely lacking. This game is very stat oriented, to the point that if you don't have blue+ gear, you are going to have a bad time. In fact, you are probably going to be forced to group to finished every mission and every mission is the same.

    The game gives the illusion of choice with stacking stats and three different ability trees but there is only one stat that matters, firearms (dps) and one ability (healing) that matters. Everything else is pure garbage compared to these.

    Right now there is no end game, except doing daily missions of the same again and again. The Dark Zone is a joke too. It's the same as everywhere else in the game except the enemies are even tankier, and other players can shoot at you. At low levels pvp like this is fun but at high levels the penalties for going 'rogue' take the fun out of it for very long. There are not pure pvp arenas either.

    I gave this game a 1 because it managed to run on my PS4 without crashing, which is me being generous. Don't waste your money on this game.    … Expand

    the division is too bad, it is suck too much, repetitive gameplay too boring to play for so long, I tried but could not continue to be, I made a mistake buying this game when I to spend money on a game, not a product failure like this, I would not recommend a friend or anyone here to buy this product because it is a big disappointment

    Random does not equal fun, I wish more developers would understand that. I'm tired of building the same weapons and gear over and over again trying to get the talents and skills I want. I would rather spend 10 times the materials and actually build what I want then spend hours playing a game and not moving forward.     I dont know what ubisoft would thinking to develop this game , it really sucks , I dont know where to start but one of the things that made me sick of this **** was that was you should be online even for playing story , how ever the story was cliche and the ****tiest story ever , only gameplay was good , I wish I didnt buy this game

    Super cool game until you get killed for the 70th time by a shotgun that is 17 miles away from you. I have by nos more than 2 das of The Division, probably I shouldn't give only "1" for the game, but, after you play you will fell the same way I am.

    If you like games
    - that lack any diversity (same environments and enemes over and over)
    - without any meaningful story,
    - grinding,
    - bad controls
    - bullet sponge enemies
    then this is for you.

    About an hour of playing i already had buyers remorse.

Keep your apology...keep your game...even keep my money. Clearly lacking quality management.     Better if Ubi changes the name to Tom Clancy's The Glitch because at it is now is just a glitch simulator. Glitch, bugs, cheaters running rampant and no end content. All the fun you can take from this game is ruined pretty fast as you are going to encounter any of the previosly mentioned issues or all of them.

    How this game scores above a 30 is beyond me. While the solo campaign can be fun for an hour or two, the rest of the game is horrid. They code is broken and buggy (some things do the opposite of what they say, like +damage to elites) and were only fixed when pointed out to the people who's job it was to actually code it, the enemies are boring and not really fleshed out, and theHow this game scores above a 30 is beyond me.     It is all just filler!
    Imagine a turkey ok, now the outside of the turkey is a delicious idea of a game, LOVE the dark zone, with its rich meaty skills/gadgets. The trailer was ubisoft letting us taste the turkey, just a bite, and on the release of the turkey, dinnertime! March 8th!     The very definition of mediocrity. Bland mechanics, shooting feels uninspired, missions are mind-numbingly repetitive. An unsuccessful mishmash of tactical shooting, RPG, and MMO; Ubi should have picked one and stuck with it. Wait for this game to drop in price, or borrow from a friend...

The division is an ok cover based shooter (although no player uses cover in PvP but ubisoft over looks that ) up until lvl 30 (the max) upon reaching this milestone the game changes from exploring    Lacking vision and end game.     High end gear is extremely difficult and rare to find. Crafting is , to be honest, a joke as you can not craft nothing decent unless you spend 300,000 dark zone points and need to be lvl 75 in the dark zone. Multiplayer nerfs lover gear score players as group quickly kick any player with a low gear score which , in essence, means ubisoft is acutely rewarding players who have used the cheats and exploits to get the best gear.
    The utter lack of thought that ubisoft has approached the end game with is shocking, and please remember this game was 4 years in the making!!! Every update they are tweaking and changing things. Upon launch named weapons were considered the best, after the update they are nothing short of a joke.
    Save you money. DON'T BUY THE SEASON PASS!!! Get another game, hopefully something non ubisoft so they can't screw it up!    … Expand

I can't play it due to Delta, Bravo and Garbage errors. I have never rated a game a zero and generally despise people who do because they are usually just being dramatic. Worst experience with a game ever and that'sI was very much looking forward to this game. It could potentially be a very good game, maybe even a great game, but here is my dilemma you see, I can't play it. Why you ask? I can't play it due to Delta, Bravo and Garbage errors.     This game is just a cheap cash in that does nothing original. It's just a shallow third person cover shooter with other players and loot (whoop de do). The graphics are good but they pulled a Watch Dogs again, meaning they lied to their consumers. There are microtransactions and plenty of connection problems. Just a overall shallow and cheaply made game for the casual gamers everywhere.

    horrible AI, a bad story, low motivasion to do anything in this game. it is obvious that reviewers are paid, this game is garbage, enemies are almost as bad AI as the npc civilians. all in all, this game is as many others: a good idea served only as a side to the main dish, **** and poo poo

    About 12/13 hours in, game has become rather repetitive, PvE driven content is dull, PvP content can either be tough and fast paced or just repeatedly get stomped on. The story tries to deliver a realistic modern apocalypse however the bullet sponge enemies really ruin the atmosphere. Not exactly worth retail value, I personally regret my purchase at launch.

    Updated to Version 1.01, still got this Gamebreaker Bug (cant activate agent) before the first mission even. I paid 60 Euros for this piece of Shyte that refuses to let me play....WTF UBISOFT ???????????????

    gonna sell the game to a colleague at work whom i dont like haha

    I am one of the few people who read the book and I am sorry but the story isn't that good. Since the gamplay is life a poorly made shooter RPG thing there is nothing special about the game. And you have to play on a server. Who knows if we will always be able to play. They come out with a demo in 2013 that took my breath away, i dont think i'v ever been more hype for a game at any point N my life. I mean the graphics were out of this world better then that of Crisis @ The Wither 3, then not but Two years later they come out with video of a game that has seen a massive graphicseveryone needs to open there eyes can yall not see what ubisoft is doing.     3 Years for one of the worst downgrades ever seen, repetitive, and 20 hours to get max level, that's just not worth $60. Not what was promised at all, nothing new and way too repetitive.

    It builds a strong foundation on the gameplay front, offering up rewarding combat and simple skills, but doesn’t follow that with anything substantial, being content to let the standard end game grind and excellent-yet-stressful PVP try to cover all the questions its writing leaves you with.
