    Although I have read negativ comments about it before even I have played this game, but now after I just finished it I would say that this is a game that will provide you with adrenaline, emotions and an exciting story.

The story doesn't play out how I would have wanted it to go (I would have loved more time on the road with Joel and the older Ellie), but considering the direction the writers felt they needed to go, it's a very impressive and gut-wrenching story. I've never been affected emotionally by a game like I was by this one.

    Gameplay wise, it's nothing groundbreaking (save for the animations), but it's very fun and tense. And it's all wrapped up in superlative graphics and sound design.    … Expand

    I have never felt so emotionally engaged in a game before, I highly recommend it, but need to have an open mind and let the story play out, instead of trying to fight it. Brilliant game!!

    The only problem I can find with this game is that is so far ahead than anything else before it that some people are not ready for it. Of course the game will make you upset, that is the whole point, it's an analysis of hate and its consequences. If after finishing the game you still feel hateful then some part of the message was definitely lost on you.

Красивая графика, проработанность деталей, не идеальный, но всё же захватывающий сюжет, улучшенный игровой процесс. Местами не совсем удобное управление, но это терпимо.     Всем тем букашкам которые поставили нули игре я ссал в ладоши. Только что прошел эту игру, и она оставила после себя столько эмоций что очень трудно все это выразить. Вообщем то вся игра, весь геймплей - это игра на эмоциях и нервах. После второй части игры мне будет невероятно трудно перепроходить первую часть, и смотреть на маленькую и еще невинную Элли без наворачивающихся слез наВсем тем букашкам которые поставили нули игре я ссал в ладоши. Sometimes too repetitive and slow paced (a bit dull) and the ending was awful (but not badly written). I wish, I as a player, could have had more influence on things like killing Nora but I also realise that it was meant to be uncomfortable as it was a part of Ellie's development. Loved little details like the soldiers calling out the names of dead people I kill; their friends.… Expand

    There are a few criticisms I've seen that I want to address.

    Secondly there's the people who dislike the story. To this I'd say each to their own, but I personally enjoy stories that challenge me. This won't be for everyone but by no means is it objectively bad. That's just ridiculous. Ignore anyone who says this. It takes some surprising and unusual routes, but the story to me was fantastic, challenging and original. I've never played a game that made me experience so much emotion, or stay with me in the same way. That said, that's my opinion, clearly a lot of people didn't experience the story the way I did. I think that's a shame because I found it truly astounding.

    Lastly I've seen some criticism of the scavenging gameplay. It's almost exactly the same as the first game, so if you didn't enjoy in that, expect to find it tedious in this. For me, it pulled me into the world and enabled me to truly explore the utterly stunning scenery.

    There's no denying the astonishing amount of work that went into this game. Regardless of opinions around the story, the environments, animations, textures, lighting and design are all the best that I've seen in our current generation. Please when considering this game, read the nuanced reviews, not the hate filled ones.    … Expand

    Between the amazing storytelling with so many twists and turns that you literally don't know where it will go, and the intense, violent and solid gameplay, there is very little I personally can fault the Last of Us Part II for.
    It did become a little boring at times, with segments running very long and becoming repetitive.     With all this being said, I do understand why some people do not agree with the decisions made in this game. It will, and have, split the people playing it into so many different categories. The only real way to find out if you will like it or dislike it, is by picking it up and trying it out (either borrowing it from a friend, get it preowned or even support the amazing gameplay developers who struggled to get this game in such an amazing state, by buying the game). The effect of the story is not something that can be described well. You will have to experience it.    … Expand

Play as abby was awesome and the fact that we could understood both sides of storys in an apocalipty world is amazing, definitly, I liked most the story and tô play with abby which lost his fathers than play with ellie. I was very sad to kill the dogs from WLF, then the scenes were abby help animal and throw the ball to the dog make me confortável and happy playing, everything in this game was special... You Need to play and get your onw things about it. But for me me, its one more of the Bests games that i had played.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. TLOU2 is an emotional rollercoaster from beginning to end. The gameplay, graphics, sound, and cutscenes are are all excellent. Some levels such as the escape from Scar Island and the hospital basement fight are breathtaking. However, the choice in the story line will undoubtedly cause some friction in the gaming community. The story line is my only serious complaint amount the game (Spoilers):
    1) Killing Joel early. His death shouldn't have taken place so early in the game. Joel is the patriarch / hero of the first game and deserves more than 15 minutes. 2) Abby - her motivation for revenge is justified. However playing with her for half the game after she brutally bashed Joel head in just doesn't work for me. She also sleeps with her Ex who has a pregnant girlfriend. Her redemption story line doesn't pass for me...

    3) Ellie is missing for half the game. This game is about Ellie (well at least that's what marketing told us). Additionally, Abby storyline has the better gameplay (hospital, scar island, sky bridge).    … Expand

Отличная игра!Я понимаю почему бомбят некоторые фанаты, т.к.     I used to be one of the haters. But I finished the game yesterday, I understood the message behind the game. So I changed my mind and rate it 9. I think the game doesn't deserve the 0 Bombing. Especially the 0 from the one who rated crackdown3 10. The review bombing is nearly over and people finished the game which improves a lot to the score. To bad those can't be deleted even thoughI used to be one of the haters. But I finished the game yesterday, I understood the message behind the game. So I changed my mind and rate it 9. I think the game doesn't deserve the 0 Bombing. Especially the 0 from the one who rated crackdown3 10.     I love the game how it is. I dont know why people behave like it is their own game. Naughty Dog made their version based on the world and environment. Of course I maybe would like another path of the story, but people have to accept what Naughty Dog did.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I loved The Last of Us and when I heard about a part 2, I was extremely excited. I watched all of the trailers, followed all of the news, and counted down the time until it would finally come out. I pre-ordered the game and started it up the minute it was made available to me. After playing for about an hour and a half, I was shocked and in love with the story. The next day, I saw all of these reviews saying it was an awful game and a "SJW" propaganda game. I wanted to keep a clear mind before I read/saw any analysis. I just finished the game yesterday and I would say that it was an odd experience. The story was done really well if you have the capacity to step outside of your own perspective. The fact that Abby and Ellie are the primary characters seemed an odd choice, until the story comes back together. Abby killed Joel, because Joel killed Abby's father (the doctor from the first game), and now Ellie wants to kill Abby because she killed her father figure. It is easy for us to pretend a boss/enemy is a worthless character, but when we know their stories, their actions, their friends, their culture, it becomes much more personal. I'm still digesting the ending of the game, which I initially thought was really bad (I still sway in that direction) but I'm wondering if a better understanding may come. People have complained about an LGBTQ+ agenda but they quickly forgot that Ellie was gay in the first game (so it makes sense that she is with Dina) or the transgender character (who doesn't appear until the tail end of the game and is very briefly discussed). It is unfortunate that telling a story equates to an agenda for some people.

    Story - 7-8/10

    The gameplay was essentially the same as the first game but added some additional features which helped improve the experience (I loved the prone mechanic), and the ability for the dogs to track you was a great idea but seldom saw its vision in gameplay. Overall, the improvements outweigh the repetitive aspects.

    Gameplay - 5-6/10

    Graphics were incredible, of course 9/10

    Overall, 8/10

    The first game was clearly superior to this game, not that it means the Last of Us part II is a bad game. Game series evolve and have to build off of previous formulas, when the first game of your series is a solid 10/10, it makes the job to blow the minds of your fans extremely hard.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game isn’t about revenge. It isn’t about hate. And it sure as hell is not the story we as fans wanted told but instead is the story that needed to be told.

    The last of us part two is about love. The type of love that consumes you and blinds you, you nearly lose yourself in it. Just like saving Ellie was Joel’s redemption in part one, that single momentous act that brings him back from the brink... going after Joel’s killer is Ellie’s undoing. You see her go through this journey backwards as she slowly becomes the very monster she’s trying to kill.

    On the flip side, you have Abby. Playing as Ellie fills you with rage towards this woman, you want nothing more than to make her pay. Playing as Abby, on the other hand... ND does something tremendous here, something absolutely insane, and you know what? It works. Walking a mile in Abby’s shoes (literally) makes you understand her motivations, playing as Abby four years ago, seeing how young and happy and innocent she is (sound familiar?) with her dad makes you yearn for the life you know Ellie and Joel could have had. This whole two sides of the same coin is illustrated so beautifully you just know, in some other timeline Abby and Ellie could have been friends.

    You walk a path with Abby where she questions all of her motives, all of her loyalties, to save these two kids from enemy tribes. The parallels between Abby/Lev and Joel/Ellie are unmistakable and completely intentional.

    There’s so much more I could say about this but you need to experience it for yourself to truly understand the depth and thought and absolute consideration that was put into every single moment of this game.

    This wasn’t the story I wanted, not but a mile, but it was the story that needed to be told. If all you took from this story is a generic “revenge is bad” or you’re left feeling a festering pain because you *didn’t* get revenge then you.... completely missed the point of the first game which lays the groundwork for part two. After all, didn’t Joel also have one single objective throughout all of part one only to not go through with it at the last minute?    … Expand

I didn’t know that it was possible to make Take on Me sound melancholy, but Ashley Johnson managed it beautifully. I would also strongly encourage people to re-listen to Future Days (the Ellie/Joel song) again after they’ve finished the game because it takes on a richer significance. Where the game really shines though is in its story and the character development. We see a softer, more vulnerable side of Joel and a harder, vengeful Ellie that built on what was set up in the first game. This isn’t a game that panders. If anything, it is asking fans to trust it as it leads us on an emotional roller coaster. I never felt like my trust was misplaced. Every scene struck an emotional chord and even though I desperately wanted different outcomes for some of the characters, the game’s events fit the tone and theme that they were going for and had an internal consistency that I could accept. I ended the game bereft and emotionally drained which, while not the usual gaming experience, did illustrate how video games can be a place to grapple with difficult and even uncomfortable emotions.

    TLDR: not only is this the best game I’ve played all year; it is the best game I’ve ever played.    … Expand

There are several people claiming that there are giant plot holes in the game, and from the ones that I have read most of these "plot holes" come from characters' decisions. Most of these character decisions are ones that stem from character growth and empathy. You can trace every questionable decision made by the characters to experiences along the way, questions they've had, people that they have interacted with that have changed their perspective. This game is about confronting challenges, and questioning opinions you may have had before, and I think a lot of people weren't happy with that. It makes YOU question how you feel about the situations in the game, the same way the characters have to question how they feel.

    As for the "political agenda," this game really doesn't shove anything down your throat. While there may be some characters in the game that are different, that's all they are: different. The only way it's going to bother you is if the idea itself bothers you. They have a backstory and then that's where that "agenda," ends. Each character has their own name, and seeing how people react to the deaths around them made each character feel much more human. Even the dogs have names and I feel terrible after each one I take down. And the ways the enemies get smarter after each kill is amazing. Then there's the story. Never has any story brought me so much emotion like this game has. It brings you to the extreme hatred after Joel is killed, then you start to sympathize with the killer. La vara siempre queda muy alta para alguien que no suele jugar mucho y para aquellos que han jugado todos los juegos triple A. Es que en un medio dónde un triple A es la excusa para obtener dinero con juegos "de balde" o que no toman riesgos artísticos, cien una desarrolladora como Naughty Dog a tomar todos los riesgos en un medio no acostumbrado a ello.
    Es una obra de arte. Y quizá el tiempo le dará la razón y no una calificación del 1 al 10. Porque es el sistema que hay yo le pongo un 10 porque a mi parecer se merece eso y más.
    La historia y la jugabilidad, el trabajo extenso detrás en cada detalle de esta entrega y todo lo que ha provocado de manera meta es tan solo un testimonio de su importancia histórica.

    Outstanding. Introducing new characters and a emotional story this game will stick with me forever. I cannot imagine this level of story telling coming around again for a long time. Very sad that this experience is over. I only fear that playing games will now feel so much less engaging compared to this.

    People rushed on to Metacritic after hearing bad reviews to join in after there was outcry from what happened in the first 2 hours. Put your big boy pants on and play the whole    I am baffled as to how anyone can give this game a negative review. If thought the story was rubbish, you didn't understand it. Put your big boy pants on and play the whole game, then form your own opinion. If it's still negative, fair enough, but a lot of the bad reviews are from the day it came out, and it shows, because as the days go by the number of positive reviews keep going up, from people who obviously did play the game the whole way through and were rewarded with an incredibly rich and emotional story. The early negative review bombers obviously didn't play the 30 hr game in the first few hours of it coming out.

    My thoughts on some major backlash points:

    Joel:
    You knew that would happen to Joel sooner or later, it's the natural turn of events. His past was going to catch up with him, otherwise what was the point of having Joel save Ellie be very morally grey at the end of P1? There would be no point at all if he got away with it. The whole story from the first minute of P1 all the way through to the final moments of P2 flow wonderfully well. I'm sure Naughty Dog aren't finished either, and will come back with an equally impressive P3.

    Character continuity:
    I've seen people say that they think the characters are too different from P1 (i.e. Joel 'trusting' Abby, Ellie changed), but what those people fail to realise is this: people do change. And this has been accelerated by the fact that they now have semblance of a relatively normal and happy life in Jackson. It's been years since Ellie and Joel were travelling across the States, they're in a stable setting now. Of course they're going to change. Joel undoubtedly becomes more trusting of people since having Ellie to love as a daughter figure, and being surrounded by regular people who are not a threat
    As for Ellie, her sudden coldness and change of character (to the player) is a result of the extreme emotional turmoil she faces from two angles: one is the aftermath of what happened at the hospital, and Joel's eventual telling of the truth. This is gradual, and we as the player don't see it immediately (it's more slowly built on as the root of the friction their relationship have been enduring, and even goes way back to the last frame of P1 when it's left ambiguous as to whether or not Ellie believes Joel). In the final flashback, we see Ellie willing to try and forgive Joel for it, but tragically, it never happens. That feeds into:
    the second angle from which her change of character comes from. Joel's sudden you-know-what hits Ellie like a truck on fire filled with bricks. Their relationship was just beginning to be on the mend, and Ellie knew she had been a dick to Joel for a while, but she never really realises it until the night before. This is evident from the dance when Joel gets involved in the whole Seth being a bigot thing, and Ellie pushes him away for trying to protect her. She says some pretty hurtful stuff to Joel, and you can see her regret it immediately after, and that crushing regret resonates all throughout the game. It's heartbreaking, but this is what loss does to someone. Ellie becomes almost unrecognisable - while she was sort of naive from growing up in the QZ and not unnecessarily violent in P1, she is the complete opposite now. She tortures her enemies for information, she's unable to let her rage go and she kills others without batting an eye. This is so new for us, we last saw Ellie whipping out her joke book, making sweet conversation with Joel. It gut-wrenchingly tells us the sheer impact it had on her, and we also see it when even Ellie herself is shocked at her uncharacteristic behaviour after torturing a certain someone for information, and killing a pregnant woman in cold blood. There is profound regret there too, especially the latter, but she never feels that until its too late.
    I'm honestly surprised people expect Ellie to be the same person she was when she was 14.

    Letting Abby go:
    Ellie's redemption comes at the very end when she lets Abby go in an unbelievably poignant and profound moment of tender realisation, but then learns the ultimate lesson when she returns to the farm to find that her family has left. Ellie was unable to choose her family over her guilt, regret and anger. I think that is really powerful. I think what people fail to realise about the significance of letting Abby go, is that Ellie has not forgiven her in the slightest. And when Abby spared Ellie & Dina earlier, it wasn't out of forgiveness either. It was for the other people in their lives. What started as a story of revenge changes - by the end neither of them get that, because by the time the credits roll it's morphed into something else entirely.

    I thought TLOU2 was, simply put, incredible and brave.    … Expand

I can’t recommend this game enough to people looking for a unique experience. There’s an old quote that can be modified to do TLOU2 justice, “For those who’ve experienced it, no explanation is necessary.     Never has any form of media challenged me this emotionally. The story is an absolute rollercoaster of emotions from start to finish, containing some of the most heartfelt, most upsetting and most distressing scenarios I have ever experienced. It asks you to re-evaluate your opinions on certain characters a number of times. It explores the idea that in the world of the Last of Us, no character is truly right or wrong, no heroes or villains and that blind revenge will leave make you lose everything.

    The narrative structure of the game is extremely ambitious and complex, and may not be for everyone. Even though I personally enjoyed it greatly, I do find the story to have some pacing and structural issues that affect the flow of the game, especially in the latter half of the story.

    Another minor issue for me is that I found a few side characters to be under-developed and would have liked a little more back story to make later scenes including them more impactful.

    Overall this is a brilliant, unforgettable game and piece of storytelling that will live long in my mind.    … Expand

    If you want more of the same from the first game, you won’t get it, and tonally it has a very different feel, but it is it’s equal in every respect.

I beat the game on Moderate difficulty and then immediately played it again and beat it again, this time on Survivor+ (this game really ought to be played on Survivor, by the way).

    In terms of gameplay, everything good about The Last of Us 1 has been improved.    It's not perfect, but considering everything that this game gets right, I think it's fair to call it an absolute masterpiece. I beat the game on Moderate difficulty and then immediately played it again and beat it again, this time on Survivor+ (this game really ought to be played on Survivor, by the way).

    In terms of gameplay, everything good about The Last of Us 1 has been improved. Combat is more varied, more excited, more tense, and much more brutal. Even for a seasoned gamer like myself, this combat made me stop and say "Oh my God!" a few times. It's just so intense - in a good way! There are fewer ladders, more areas to explore, and many more options as to how you take on your enemies. Also, new infected!

    In terms of the story, it is of course hugely controversial. But I think it's tremendously well done. It's not as perfectly tight as the Last of Us 1 and there are a couple awkward jumps in timeline. But it's so ambitious and manages to make you think and feel things that few games before have ever even dared to try. For that alone, I think this game is deserving of special recognition. It has been a couple weeks since I beat the game for the second time and I'm still thinking about the characters, pondering their choices, wondering what they could or couldn't have done differently. This game really makes you care about the characters and their choices and makes you think about the costs of our actions in life. It's brilliant.

    Like I said, the game is not perfect - there are some bugs that can be really distracting, and there are some oversights in the plot. But, all in all, this is easily one of the best games I have ever played in over twenty years of gaming. It is a worthy successor to an all-time great game, and stands alone as a masterpiece in its own right.

    After playing though the first half or so of the game, I would like to honestly say that the critical score is undeserved. The Last of Us Part II is not without flaws, but all in all, it is also undeserving of the current user score. Most scores need to be scrubbed without a doubt. That being said, I can see the game for what it is. Is it a masterpiece? Far from it. Is it a blast to play?After playing though the first half or so of the game, I would like to honestly say that the critical score is undeserved. That being said, I can see the game for what it is. Is it a masterpiece? Far from it. Is it a blast to play? Depends on your definition. Does it deserve the hate from the fan base? Perhaps somewhat, but certainly not to the degree it’s been given.

    The gameplay is an enormous improvement from the previous game. Stealth mechanics are far better: being able to craft silencers for the handgun is useful, hiding in tall grass to get the drop on enemy guards is exhilarating, and finally being able to craft arrows for the bow makes that weapon far more invaluable for stealth encounters. The crafting system is also greatly improved. Aside from the usual supplies – such as first aid kits, Molotovs, and bombs – arrows can now be crafted, silencers for the handgun, and improving your melee weapons restores them to full durability.

    Skills now are greatly expanded, and training manuals must be found in order to expand your skill tree. Whereas previously training manuals simply improved durability of shiva and bombs and healing, now they unlock new skill trees to improve. Supplements found in the world still function the same, but now you have greater variety for how to build your character to better suit your playing style. Weapon upgrades have been simplified and improved: instead of just increasing ammo capacity or power in increments, each upgrade improves a single aspect of the weapon. An example being ammo capacity of the handgun: instead of increasing ammo capacity by 1 round over 3 or 4 upgrades, now it is a single upgrade of 4 rounds. Ammo reserves have been scaled back, but enemies now drop ammo more frequently.

    Combat has been greatly expanded. You can dodge enemy attacks, greatly increasing survivability and combat prowess. Stealth does have greater emphasis in the game, but is not necessary. However it is strongly recommended since certain areas in the game have numerous enemies and can easily overwhelm you. Dogs are also great at tracking you, so it is also recommended to give them priority over other enemies in an area that has them.

    Now we get to the most fun part to review: the story. ***DISCLAIMER: this review was written about more than halfway through the campaign, so all opinions here on out are subjective, and should be not taken as an endorsement for nor as bias against TLOU2. This is a spoiler-free review.***

    The story begins 5 years after the events of the previous game. Ellie is older and more wise (and perhaps more jaded) in the ways of the world, and has been living in Jackson with a growing population. She’s made fast friends with a few people – namely on-again-off-again couple Dina and Jesse – and has been living her life the best way she can. However, the past finally catches up with her and Joel, and tragedy strikes in the most horrific way, which sets her off down a very dark path.

    The game also introduces Abby, a former Firefly and current member of the well-armed-and-trained Washington Liberation Front, or WLF. She’s had her fair share of tragedy, and by the time of the main story of TLOU2, she’s become a ruthless soldier harbouring a hateful grudge against the man who had killed her father. She serves as a foil to Ellie, and the story of TLOU2 details the similarities and stark contrasts of both young women, both in terms of personalities and motivations for why they did what they did.

    NOTE: I already knew what the storyline of TLOU2 was and what the main plot points were, so I already knew what to expect. I went into this game with an open mind, knowing what I knew, but have changed my initial opinion of the game since playing it as far as I have. I intend on finishing the game, and so far I can say that the game does not deserve either score it has received from both critics and users. As I stated, this is not an endorsement for nor bias against the game, Naughty Dog, or Sony Interactive. It is just my honest opinion, because people can and should form their own opinions.    … Expand

    Seriously recommend playing this game alone or with quiet observers. I mean it just take the games atmosphere and characters in even the grunt ai characters dialouge is good. This is hands down a beautiful game expressing moral dilema and the grey area of stories. I dont know why everyone is hating on this game ao much its amazing and a great sequal. The story is awesome and really drivesSeriously recommend playing this game alone or with quiet observers.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The greatest, most brilliant story I've seen in a game. A story that perfectly depicted human nature when the structure of society is all but gone. Joel's death is a high price to pay, even for the storywriters, but it is the fuel that will keep you hooked to the game for the rest for the rest of it, craving for vengeance, only to realize that vengeance will not solve anything. And from that point on it becomes a battle of Ellie against herself and her own traumas. Ellie ends up killing the people in the gang completely blinded by her desire for revenge, including the only WLF guy who stood to defend her (Owen) and a pregnant Mel. Only to end up finding an Abby who has finally tried to redeem herself and for once do something nice for another person. Had Ellie killed Abby she would have proven that ellie is as **** as her. And it was by forgiving abby, and by fighting her on a one on one fight ( even though she started with a knife). That she really realized that the only way to forgive Joel, and to forgive herself was to forgive Abby. This story is out of this world its simply much deeper than anything I've seen before. The only real problem is that players don't really have the stomach for something like this. We have all been educated to live in a world of fantasy and avoid watching gruesome videos in real life, and this game forces you a mouthful of pain and brutality of a real world down your throat. I'm not saying this game is for everyone. But if you can see beyond all the blood and violence, you will find the most humane characters ever seen on a game. This is simply brilliant to me. To force people to accept the reality of some countries even today, but this time in the United states in a Post apocalyptic world. If you can't handle a story like this, I totally get it. I just think that the whole story is an instrospection into Ellie's mind and her Nemesis to show, that in the end, they are both just humans.… Expand

Through breathtaking graphics and Naughty Dog’s painstaking attention to detail as well as excellent performances across the cast The Last Of Us receives a worthy sequel with a powerful message that leaves me thinking about it day after day. The freedom of exploration and the beauty of the surroundings makes it a very pleasant experience to travel, although it also has terrifying scenarios that combined with an amazing sound design you will feel so immersed that you forget that it is a video game. I really feel like this is a gift to everyone who enjoys this hobby. I want to say thanks to Neil Druckmann and Halley Gross, Kurt Margenau, Anthony Newman and the entire team, extraordinary work and I can't wait to see the next project!… Expand

    The last of us 2 is a masterpiece that has been affected by irrational opinions, but the truth is that this game perfectly combines all aspects of a wonderful game both narratively and playable or graphically the truth is that this is a wonderful game and you should play it now!

    Beutiful and well made, the writing ain't perfect, but damn if it isn't powerful and good. I'd say if you loved the first one, you'll love the second just as much, if your willing to take a more bleak story

    I would like to thank all the haters because they helped me to appreciate this game even more because of low expectations. I was really surprised how really good this game is, everything from graphics, gameplay and story appeared to be perfect. The amount of detail and care they put in every aspect is insane. I think it would be extremely dumb to expect something lighter in a survival action that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world. The last minutes of the game made me feel my heartbeat in my ears... Also, the length of the game felt very refreshing, especially after 3-4 hours of Resident Evil 3 remake that left me frustrated. It's like going back to 90s and early 2000s, when a game took weeks to finish, and it felt like a journey. Kudos to Naughty Dog, they raise d the bar extremely high.… Expand

    Fantastic game. When it comes to video games, Naughty dog is the best in storytelling. Before you judge this game. Keep an open mind and follow the story all the way through. Its worth it.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
