    I think people on both sides are being very dramatic. This game isn’t a masterpiece, but it’s not the worst game ever either. The graphics are some of the best in the industry and the gameplay is ok, but the story is very bland. If your playing this game for the story, don’t expect the level of uniqueness and effort that the first game delivered. The story is uninspired and nonsensical. IfI think people on both sides are being very dramatic. This game isn’t a masterpiece, but it’s not the worst game ever either. The graphics are some of the best in the industry and the gameplay is ok, but the story is very bland. If your playing this game for the story, don’t expect the level of uniqueness and effort that the first game delivered. The story is uninspired and nonsensical. If you’d getting the game for the gameplay, you would enjoy it. Overall, the game wasn’t the worst, but it wasn’t the best either

    Terrible game, terrible plot, terrible story. While many like to say the game’s political messaging has nothing to do with its abysmal performance, I beg to differ as it corrupts the storytelling itself.

    This game is nothing like the original and I do not appreciate what Nate Druckman has done to it. The fact the games industry allowed anyone to publish good reviews of this game is exemplary of the poor ethics in games journalism, and the opportunism displayed by Naughty Dog. Not worth the time to even watch, let alone spend money on.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is nowhere near deserving of anything above 5. I’ve chosen 3 because I think its bastardizes the series but would probably more aptly give it a 3.5, for two reasons:
    The game is a technical marvel and graphically is very impressive, the best ND looking game to date and one of the best looking games of this gen. The game also includes unlockable flashbacks with Joel and Ellie and these are what really give the extra .5 I would realistically give and also why the game is only a 3.5. If the whole game had more of Joel or Elie or introduced new characters that had such a deep and well thought out relationship as Joel or Ellie, Part 2 would’ve been fantastic. Unfortunately, beating Joel with a golf club 2 hours in dashes this. As soon as we take control of Abby, the one who murders Joel, the story becomes confusing and jumbled, with multiple flashbacks and jumpcuts and is very hard to follow. Abby herself is unlikeable and very hard to find any sympathy for. The other characters are forgettable and have no defining characteristics that make you want to find out more about them, apart from Dina, who makes sense because she’s Ellies partner.
    Ellie herself is less likeable, constantly hating on Joel and the majority of males to be honest, she’s simply an **** even to Dina but I immensly enjoyed the interactions she had with Dina and the small respite in the game with her and Dina living in the farmhouse was really cute and did go someway into exploring Ellie’s response to intimacy and romance.
    The ending, the point I will end this review on, is atrocious. The whole game is revolved around revenge, of course. Ellie tracks down Abby after getting seperated from her earier in the game, leaving Dina and Dina’s baby behind (obviously, not their baby, Dina was impregnated by another character earlier but then they broke up). Abby has been tortured and beat and is essentially being crucified, on death’s door. Ellie frees her and they both go to a nearby dock, to escape via boat. Ellie then threatens to kill Lev, a boy Abby has been travelling with, if Abby doesn’t fight her. This devolves into a fist fight (in a world where guns exist and Ellie actually has a few on her person and in a world where survival of the fittest dominates), where Ellie gets the upperhand but then let’s Abby leave with Lev, despite murdering her friends and 100’s of others and the whole point of tracking Abby was revenge for Joel. Ellie then comes back to the farmhouse to find Dina and the baby gone and tries to play guitar, only to find she can’t as she lost two fingers in the fight with Abby. One more cutscene plays, where Ellie says in a flashback at Jackson, the starting area, she can’t forgive Joel for saving her at the hospital, credits.
    Let’s hope and pray TLOU3 is never made or if it is, with Druckmann far away as possible. If he and the other management who made devs work 100+ hour weeks for this game leave, I wish ND the best on their next game, otherwise, people on the bottom of the ladder, get the hell out and don’t look back.    … Expand

    Incredibly poor choices in the story. More CG than gameplay, its like a bad interactive game. I believe that some public will enjoy, but for me, its like the got final season, just using ways to impact without considering a lot of thing from the first game (Joel character totally destroyed). I only liked to play guitar lol

    Gameplay is way better than in TLOU 1, graphics and detail too. I mean, everyone who played it will say the same. I wont go further into it as it is kind of obvious just looking at 10 minutes of gameplay.

    TL:DR: Any claim, that says, that the "feminism" in this game killed is, ist completely wrong. This game is completely different than TLOU 1, a very bad continuation of this legendary game imo. What they did to Joels Character is really stupid as he acts completely different than in Part 1. As for Ellie, I liked her developement, which is the only good think about the story. (Except the ending, which again makes no sense). For people who are looking for a new Game with great gameplay, detail und graphic I definitely recommend it. However, if you come from TLOU 1 and expected something similar good storywise you will get disappointed big time, just like me.

    I kind of hate to say it but this game disappoints me and surprises me so much, i dont have any words for it. For starters, Joel died way to early. For people who wanted to see more Joel and Ellie action this will come as a big disappointment. Not only did it not make any sense in the beginning, but it was way too early. Next big nogo: They forced you to play as Abby, the killer of Joel. I mean, its kinda ok to do but then you also have to trying to kill Ellie with her. This is the biggest disappointment in this game ... As far as character development goes: The die way to fast to build up any relationship with them. They just feel blant with no depth in them. I liked Levs story though, that one was really ok. The rest was just plain boring.
    Abby just feels like a unloveable person to me. I could not build up any relationship with her like I did with Ellie and Joel. She acts and looks like another npc within the world of TLOU who is not worth talking about. I know they want to progress the story with her in the upcoming titels, which I am not a fan of.

    The Ending is really inconsistent. Why did we take the long path of revenge, killed dozents of innocent people to only let the person live, that killed Joel, Jesse and shot Tommy? Everything that was build up in the story for nothing, literally. The only reason that they let Abby live, is that they want to continue the story with Lev and Abby. I have no problem if they do it, but dont call it The Last of us as it as nothing to do with it. Back to the story: In the end we see Ellie retruning to the house, see her playing with a guitar which see can play proberly because of the two fingers missing and after that going away with the guitar in the camera. It feels like a goodbye ellie ending for me. We will probably see more from her, but she wont be the focus on the series anymore. My guess is that we join her journey on returning to jackson or something along the lines, maybe in a dlc.

    The game has a really poor story, but good graphics, details and gameplay. You can feel the love put into this game from the devs. However, I cant say the same about the writers. For me the game completely destoryed both Ellie and Joel just to push a new char into their story, Abby. They try to once again revolutionize the gaming industrie but failed hard. For me it only gets 6/10 even if I want to give it even more. Biggest disappointment of this year yet.    … Expand

    So here is what I think:

    Pros:
    - gameplay
    - graphics
    - atmosphere
    - sound
    - music

    All those parts are undeniable very good. Its top notch. Sure the controls sometimes feel weird but they do in most of the games. It would be unfair to say this game isnt up to date in terms of all those points I mentioned.

    Cons:
    - story
    - character design
    - character development
    - plot holes

    So, even with all the pros this game is really really bad. It makes NO sense that Ellie act how she acts in certain parts of the game but that isnt even the biggest thing about why its bad.
    The reason is: character development.
    If you kill one of the most beloved characters early in the game (Joel) and want to bring in new main playable characters like Abby, you HAVE to bring WAY more backstory in order to make the player feel with her.
    I mean she KILLED Joel!
    How do you make the player like her? Bring more and more backstory before she does that. Let the players play 2-10h as Abby when she was a child or whatever. The backstory of her is basically told in 10minutes and then her dad is being killed. Thats it? And now I have to feel with her and understand why she killed Joel?
    Hell no!
    That is weak story telling. Really really weak.

    Then there are all the other new characters. Nobody is likeable. Like really. They all feel empty. They are only shells without any meaning.

    This game is just bad. Do yourself a favor and dont buy it. The reviews the journalists wrote are either bought by Sony or ND or are heavily politicly influenced. Sad thing is: because of that same journalists will most likely make this game GOTY. What a joke.

    Safe your money and buy something else.

    And last but not least: this is technically a very good game but the story/characters is/are SO bad it just doesnt matter how well the rest is done.

    You want a good revenge story? Watch "Oldboy" then you know how to make a good revenge story that shocks everybody to their core.

    This game right here? Its garbage.

    I was incredibly disappointed with this game. At first they hyped up gameplay to be so much more grander than the orginal game when I reality it's almost exactly the same except for some "platforming". The story was very disappointed, it felt like bad writing. It was like they made a plot and forced the characters to fit into it even if it didn't make sense. Every aspect of the game was beautiful, the fact that the person that you made hero from became someone else villain, and that actions have consequences. Moreover, through the game the tension and hate was all over the story and it was way outside of people's comfort zone by making you play against the character that you loved in first episode and make you to break that view and understand how they actually damage other people.
    This game is brutal with some beautiful moments. At the end also by giving the power of killing and revenge to Ellie and Abby(in cinema) and how they forgive the other person they tried to give good feeling about each character to the audience in the darkest way possible, which shows they can be monster and kill but they choose not to.
    Amazing job from Naughty dog for not following any cliche and focused on developing great story. PLAY THIS GAME WITH OPEN MIND IT GONNA TAKE YOU WAY OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE.    … Expand

Forcing myself to finish, just to get to the ending, and wishing I could go back and stop halfway through. Graphics cannot make up for the abysmal story that is the Last of Us Part II. (Spoilers) This game wanted to act like a Game of Thrones rip-off by trying to kill as many main characters as it could, along with almost all the new supporting cast. Nothing about the story unique in any manner.

    Joel died, by a group of Fireflies, that were hunting him. For a story about revenge, each side in this story continually let people go, when it made no sense. Fighting as Abby for the Ellie Boss Fight was horrible. I wanted nothing more than to die, but alas, I could not continue the story if done so. Which, while on the topic of Abby, was a horribly written character. No redeeming features graced this character and it was sad to say that not even Owen (her love interests) could help. Manny, who was barely in the game was more interesting than either of these characters. All of which end up dying when you start her play through, so you already know how everything goes.

    The twists of this game were terrible. Pregnant women, people dying, and continual ending vibes wrecked this game. I didn't care for exploring because of how dull the game was and I missed the different vibes the first game gave you as you travelled across the states. All in all, a waste of time that I uninstalled as soon as I finished the game. It's a shame that this was the game I waited years for and even worse is how the play on words in the trailers affected everything I thought this game might be. RIP Joel.     Despite the political agenda, LGBT, femoc, and so on. TLoU 2 is good, isn't a game that evokes emotions good? Yes, all sorts of minorities definitely ruined the game, but even considering this tlou2 is a masterpiece game.

    Joel, a person who's been careful and paranoid as all hell for all these years just goes onto introduce himself to a bunch of strangers??? For all he knew they could have been a bunch of cannibals......

    And don't get me started on the shi*** ending, Ellie not killing Abby after all that she was forced to go through was the biggest kick in the balls any of us have ever experienced. This is exactly what happens when companies cater to the whims of the SJW retards.    … Expand

    In certain parts, the game is a masterpiece, but in history context, I think that Abby's character was played too much instead of watched. From the middle to the end, the history loses itself, but it's still a good game, I think that the negative reviews are a little exaggerated... but what can I do about it!?

Rather than a revenge story for Ellie, druckmann and his team of utter **** have made this a revenge story for Abby, who is Abby you may ask, well apparently she's some superhuman badass with arms like a silver back gorilla, who managed to take down The chuck Norris of videogames Joel, also she kills Tommy and absolutely destroys Ellie too. A ridiculous origin from a last of us 1 character with the least screen time. I cannot understand how Druckmann and his sheep completely balled this up. Worst sequel to a game period… Expand

    Note, I played the entire game. I played it because I am a fan of Naughty Dog, the series and to formulate my own opinion on the game without the influence of other people’s comments on the game. During my gameplay I did not seek any plot information. However, I did know Joel died in the game, and Abby beats up Ellie at some point due to spoilers.

    Gameplay:
    The game brings everything back from the first game and fine tunes it to be better. Scavenging and limited resources fits this game’s genre perfectly. Make every resource count. Combat with both humans and infected has to be strategized, specially if you play on moderate or above as you can’t run and gun your way through with limited resources. To me this is perfect. The few complaints about gameplay come in the weapon/resource swapping. A selection wheel would fit this game much better. For example, if you want to select a molotov and then get back to your second hand gun, you have to to press down on the d pad twice, throw molotov then press right on the d pad twice again, which feels clunky to do.

    Graphics and sound:
    This is masterpiece in terms of technical achievement. You have to see it in person as streamed video takes away from the quality. This game kept making my jaw dropped every time a new location was shown. Its insane a console can handle those kinds of visuals. Sound is on par with the visuals as expected.     Story:
    The story really comes down to each person if they like it or not. I personally did not like some of the major events in the game. However the story does have some shinning moments that I enjoyed. The first major event is Joel’s death. Personally, I did not want him be killed off in the game. They way he is killed is terrible to say the least. His death does however fuel the anger of the player and you get in that mentality of revenge right away. I consider this event as moderately negative in my score. The second major events are killing off Joel’s killer accomplices. This was quite satisfying in terms of the overall story, avenging Joel. 4 are killed by Ellie, and 1 by Tommi. 2 of them maybe could’ve been spared (Mel and Owen) as they showed remorse or more redeeming qualities than Abby. This part of the story is highly positive in my score. The next major event is Abby coming back for Ellie and Tommi. This is a high tension part of the game. Unfortunately it pivots to show us Abby’s story for about 10 hours. This is a terrible move in terms of the story, completely lost interest in the story at this point as I was not interested or having fun playing as Abby. Abby gets as much screen time / gameplay as Ellie. I followed the story for the sake of understanding the plot and never in the 10 hours playing as Abby did I sympathize with her. In fact I attached more to 2 side characters in Abby’s arc, Lev and Yara. As I said, this is really going to depend on person to person, and I personally did not like or cared much about the story of Abby. The only redeeming quality that ever comes up for Abby is she saving Lev and Yara. Other than that Abby is not a good person but she isn’t evil either as a normal antagonist. She loses her father, killed by Joel, but the father was never explored/developed as a character so its pretty hard to care about him and Abby. I’d rate Abby’s arc as moderately negative. I didn’t see the point. The only decent part is saving the kids Lev and Yara. The rest of her arc is forgettable. Lastly, the end. We get back to the part where Abby finds Ellie, after 10 hours of playing as Abby, at this point I just wanted to wrap things up as the story had already dragged too much. They fight and Abby let’s Ellie live. Months later Ellie goes after Abby again only to let her go at the final fight. The ending is bad, mainly because Abby is not a redeemable person, there is nothing about Abby that makes her a character worth of redemption. The ending could’ve been easily saved by allowing the player to make the final choice, kill Abby or let her go.

    Plot holes:
    Joel and Tommi’s naive dumbed down personalities. This is so unfitting for these characters after the first game. They walk into the wolf’s den to be killed.
    Abby killing Joel after he saves her. Although Joel saves Abby, she never shows doubt or remorse.
    Ellie not shooting as soon as she opens the door. She had a clear a clear shot at Abby.
    Abby’s clan sparing Ellie and Tommi. This would never happen in the real world when 5 other people are there and know if they live they might come after them.
    Ellie and Jessie walking straight into the fight with Abby.    … Expand

    This is a pile of dog **** Coming from a hardcore fan that bought the PS4 just to play part 1 and had Part 2 on pre-order for the past 2 years. The story is garbage, the main cast is ruined and Abby is the character nobody wanted or needed. Never buying a Woke Naughty Dog game again. F* you naughty for ruining my favourite game.

The game constantly makes you feel lost when your actually always going the right way in some sense. If you loved the gameplay from the last of us then you will love the game play in part 2.
    I won't mention the story as very much to stay away from spoilers but I was slightly disappointed because I expected more, but that does not mean by any stretch of the imagination that this game has a bad story. I still found myself very immersed and liking a lot of the new characters (not as much as the old ones but good characters none the less). There are some cringe moments I can't help but mention but the are few and far between.
    Overall I really love this game and think everyone should play it, ignore all the bs reviews from all the sad c**ts that think this is a bad game because it didn't go the way that they wanted, 90% of them probably didn't even finish it so they have no right to put reviews up.    … Expand

Killing off Joel early and forcing us to play the completely boring and bland character that killed him isn't enjoyable in any way. From there on the game had already lost me.

    As a person who does not like political agendas being pushed into videogames (who almost canceled his pre-order because of the 'rumors'), I can say that this game is not 'the ultimate    Don't make up your mind before playing this game. The game is great-looking, the gameplay is vastly improved (and more enjoyable than TLOU 1 as a result), and the story is almost as good as the first one.
    As a person who does not like political agendas being pushed into videogames (who almost canceled his pre-order because of the 'rumors'), I can say that this game is not 'the ultimate SJW game' or a 'golfing simulator'. The so-called agenda is only communicated through subtle ways (like notes that can be discovered in optional areas). References to 'social justice' are only made when they contribute to the story, and I did not notice anything odd about them.

    I will not spoil the story but I think it gets better as you progress further. The locations you visit throughout your journey are all expertly designed, and environmental storytelling plays a significant role in supporting the main themes. Just when you are sure you've beaten the game, the epilogue begins (with a play-time of about one and a half hours). The epilogue is also fantastic and it reminds me of Max Payne 3, which is another great game. I personally thought the ending was well-executed and would be upset if it was crafted in any other way.

    In short, you should not miss out on this experience. Even if you decide you don't like the story after finishing the game, the lowest realistic score you could give to this game is 7,5/10. The game does not deserve the 3.9 User Score it has now.    … Expand

TLoU is the only series that has ever impressed on my emotions, and this second installment is no exception. In fact, I'd say Part II affected me more than the first. Please play this game and give it a real user rating; I am confident this game is not worth the currently low rating of 4/10.

    I have to say that this "nerd rage bomb" is disappointing. It must be the result of a generation that can't handle not getting a trophy for coming in last place. Life is complex, and there is just as much interesting drama and context to learn from while experiencing the low points. I used to be a person that would discount the critic reviews thinking they were biased by industry politics, and I would instead focus on the consumer scores believing that I could not be deceived by my nerd peers. I really loved the game, there was something’s I thought should have been different but with all games there are some things not everyone will like but all in all I feel this game is worthy of trying. I never seen the leaks before playing so I didn’t have it spoiled for me, the story is very dark and there is a lot of violence so I can understand some people will be turned away from that but the game is one of my favorites and I really enjoyed it. The story is very interesting and shows us some different perspectives that have a lot of emotion. Naughty dog did real well with this game in my opinion. Thank you.… Expand

    It is something we've only seen in Red Dead Redemption 2. In most places even more beautiful. The woods, the snow, the lighting, the water, the high resolution textures and detailed models are a state of the art on this generation of console games. 10/10

    * Animations and Special Effects*
    Same as with graphics amazingly detailed body and facial animations. The take downs are very brutal thanks to the detailed skin and muscle rendering. Blood almost looks like the one you see in real life. The monsters have one of the most detailed animation that I've seen in games. They are just so well made. 10/10

    * Game Play *
    I played on the Hard difficulty and added maximum enemy difficulty to carefully fine tune my experience. I my self love stealth action and horror games. So this game is just um my alley. Most of the time in this game you find your self scavenging, looking for clues to open safes, crafting upgrades and modding weapons, reading letters, trying to get past or dispatch enemies in pretty brutal ways. My only problem with the game play was the lack of indication when I'm about to progress from one room into the other. This has cost me a couple of unopened safes in my play through. I hope these can be ironed out in future games. I liked that in some areas you needed to hold triangle to enter an area but you could also cancel it using the circle button, but this was unfortunately not an option in some of the earlier levels. 9/10

    * Controls *
    A little bit harder to aim in this game, compared to the first game. Here you need to watch how your character breaths or unlock a skill to learn to control it, in order to make deadly head shots. The PS4 controller is very nicely utilized in this game. The rumbling is just perfect and goes along with the audio. In return your characters are more agile, they can dodge attacks and do counter attacks. You can now jump up on many platforms and squeeze through narrow holes, which makes the game play even more intense in some situations, where the enemy is chasing the main protagonist. 10/10

    * Audio *
    While I'm not sure if the game supports 5.1 Surround Sound, because in the options I could only see home theater, TV and stereo headphones, the sounds were really well made. The gunshots and monster roars are terrifying. When you take down enemies you can hear them gurgle when they take their last breath. 10/10

    * AI *
    The AI seems a lot smarter than the old game, especially the human groups. They seem to know how to flush you out and their combat skills can really wear you down if not straight up beat you on the spot if you are not paying attention. I like how coordinated they are, how they try to circle in on the player and corner them. They utilize grenades, sniper rifles, melee weapons and sometimes even bring dog companions to sniff you out. 10/10

    * Story *
    Alright, I'm not going to lie, it's a mixed bag to say the least. Some decisions made by the characters from the previous game doesn't make much sense in the first couple of hours. It needs some explanations, that you only get later in the game and you have to have a very good memory to remember these in detail to put everything together. The one time when Joel and Tommy follow Abby into a hide out without questioning the trustworthiness of the lady who they just met. As far as I remember Joel wasn't trusting outsiders in the first game. The story presents the same story, but shows the action and its effects on both sides. Characters that we kill as Ellie, will show up in Abby's story as close friends. The game shows the similarity of both Ellie and Abby and the environment where they lived. It made you question all the time, why these two are trying to kill each other? The ending was kind of satisfying to me, because it showed that the game is not just all about a revenge plot. There's forgiveness. Ellie forgives Joel for lying to her and she does the same to save her self from killing Abby (who in the end also found someone to care for). In the final scene Ellie realizes what it cost for her to satisfy her craving for revenge when she basically looses everything (her family, close friends and the ability to play songs). It's a bitter sweet ending, but a fair one. 7/10

    All in all the game would be a 9.2 if MetaCritic would allow it. I can definitely suggest anyone who likes survivor horror game with mature stories to pick it up. You just can't go wrong with the Last of Us Part II.    … Expand

    This game really is a masterpiece and in so many ways the defining game of this generation. Few games can match the scope of TLOU2 from the almost next gen graphics, storytelling, acting and gameplay.     Most of the criticism appears to be centered around the choices ND made on the story. Whether you personally wanted to the story to head in certain directions is very much up to personal preference, but you can't argue it's expertly done. I don't agree with every creative decision but the execution is second to none and a hell of ride for the 25 hours it takes to complete. To me this is the pinnacle of what video games can achieve as an art form compared with cinema, television and books. The best entertainment challenges the consumer, and that's exactly what ND have achieved with this game.

Waiting a full 7 years and wasting a good amount of money on this game for the fastest 2 hour disappointment only to once finishing the game an even bigger disappointment. Story could of been better. Should of had an option to at least make this a tell-tale based game for a better outcome so that we could of stuck to what the original story could of been .Advertisements were a huge lie. Not once do they mention you play as an unknown random character for a majority of the game. People who defend this game by calling the own who dislike this game will automatically call you a hater for having a woman lead. Yet they seem to forget we've had female leads such as Samus, the tombraider, Aya Brea (Parasite eve), and many others.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The only reason i'm putting a nine, is because of the way the game left off, and how you're dropped into Abby's story. Besides that the story was amazing. I honestly think that people aren't taking the story for what it is, and they're just getting worked up over a character's death. Yes, it sucks. But that's what makes a good story. Plus it seems they're judging Abby's character before they even get to her story. Yes, you heard that right, she DOES get backstory, you DO get to understand why she killed someone. Yes some characters aren't fleshed out too much, but you won't get to know them for too long anyway. The characters that stick around, and that matter? Grow in so many different and subtle ways that you truly have to think while you play to understand what's going on. ND I applaud your story writing skills. I applaud your bravery in making something genuinely amazing and daring. I'd love to play another LOU.… Expand

    I really enjoyed the first one.
    I enjoyed this one.

    The "open world" is absolutely fantastic. I enjoyed the graphics, the cutscenes. That ellie plays guitar so well, seing her in a happy relationship with dina, and the story itself without chekcing on the pacing or the telling, just the story if it was just a novel was really good.

    I can understand the people, who are angry, but not to that extend:

    Every person is well build, the motives are clear and you understand why they're doing it. I could not care less what sex they prefer to be called at or what partner they like, every person has an absolute right to be there.

    To kill Joel was a good decision. Maybe not in the first hour, but he had to die for the stuff he did, as is explained multiple times in the game. it just makes the game more sad and realistic that he was just coming to good terms with ellie the day before he died.

    The time as Abby: i see what they wanted to do, but i didnt like it that much. I understood why she killed joel and as the lets player said, in her shoes you would have probably tracked that guy down aswell in an post apocalyptic setting where your dad could have saved the world. but I couldn't come to enjoy the time as abby. it it were a seperate game like a dlc, i would have liked it better.

    The ending wasn't good nor bad. i understand what they wanted to do, i would have liked a happy ending, but thats not the nature of this world and thats not what they wanted to tell you.    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
