    hoy en dia mayo 3 2021 apenas pude hacerme de una play 4 por fin y me lleve una gran decepcion con este juego.... es una porqueria. lo mismo que el primer juego, publicidad engañosa ya que te dicen que jugaras con uno de los personajes mas amado joel y terminan matandolo para ponerte a una mujer-hombre y que no trae nada bueno a la historia.... porqueria

    The graphics, the gameplay all good (no major changes in gameplay section, but stil good).
    The decision to play a lot of with Abby is not working for me and there are some stories issues that are going to make me to never finish the game.

    This game is a masterpiece I don't care what other people say. I enjoyed this games story and it's gameplay being a major improvement over the original the ending of this game was so perfect I won't spoil it. Personally it one of the best games I've ever played

    I finally picked this game up a week ago, after reading all the reviews and watching the spoiler videos pre launch. I knew it would be a tough pill to swallow. I decided to tough my way through the emotions and just give it a chance. Have to say that all the hate is misguided and this is an absolute masterpiece. No one should have been allowed to review until they beat the entire game.

    Gameplay fenomenal, gráficos esplêndidos, física tão boa ou até melhor que a de Uncharted 4 I.A muito bem trabalhada, ambientação detalhada e tudo isso em um hardware limitadíssimo como o do PlayStation 4. O mesmo já não posso dizer sobre a história do game. De fato, não vi nenhum tipo de lacração na    Neil Druckmann lascou a história do jogo... Dito isso, vamos direto ao ponto!

    Gameplay fenomenal, gráficos esplêndidos, física tão boa ou até melhor que a de Uncharted 4 I.A muito bem trabalhada, ambientação detalhada e tudo isso em um hardware limitadíssimo como o do PlayStation 4.

    O mesmo já não posso dizer sobre a história do game. De fato, não vi nenhum tipo de lacração na história e acabei por ter me equivocado em uma de minhas afirmativas na respeito da mesma. No entanto, a história é bem clichê.

    Não sou escritor ou coisa do tipo, porém acredito que teria sido melhor uma história de perseguição a Ellie com sua morte no final do game. Afinal, ela é a cura para o vírus, e teria de ser feito seu sacrifício em prol de uma vacina como mencionado no primeiro jogo, e reforçado no segundo.

    O contexto poderia ser esse com os diretores se aprofundando nessa narrativa, e criando várias linhas da história a partir disso. Ellie sendo perseguida por ser a CURA da humanidade junto de Joel, responsável por matar vários personagens no hospital por puro egoísmo.

    A história do primeiro não é tudo isso. Contudo, gerou impacto no desenvolvimento e intimidade entre os dois protagonistas. Enquanto que sua sequência não me fora gerado impacto algum.

    Enfim, nota 8.7/10. Eu poderia dar 10/10 para esse jogo no que ele se propõe a entregar no universo dele, só que para isso necessitaria de ter tido uma história decente.    … Expand

    I have just finished the game in the hard mode. That was a hell of a story. Not what we expected, not with the sexual choices we feel comfortable but no one can deny it was a very good story telling. Sounds, voiceover, music are all top notch quality. The game play is very similar to the first game but with little innovations. Graphics are as always amazing with rich details. Naught DogI have just finished the game in the hard mode. I am in a new part and can't go back. I observe that the good and the evil are not white and black in the contemporary scenarios. When you read both sides of the story, when you learn about the conditions that led to actions which seemed evil you may sympathize with the villain. Maybe every one of us is a villain in somebody's story. I guess this game explores the boundaries between the good and the evil in a merciless apocalyptic world. Personally I would pick the same choices the scenarist made me do during the game. Thanks for this beautiful game even though I would have preferred a different closure to the first game...… Expand

    Now the disgusting part of the game is its story. I dont have to see this paying 50$ and spending 20 hours playing it. This is the worst story and storytelling I've ever played.     After playing the game, I was amazed by the graphics & realistic gestures of this game portrays in real Apocalypse "End of World" scenario. The reason for the score was the story. It was to many cliches, dragged out srory, and many injustices in the sequel that makes you want to stop and start up the amazing prequel.

    Gameplay: Simples mas bem polido, nada de inovador mas isso não é problema. O que eu gosto no gameplay do Last Of Us é a busca de recursos e pensar no melhor tipo de abordagem para matar um inimigo. Jogo muito jogos de tiro em 3 pessoa e nenhum me faz parar e pensar com que arma devo finalizar um inimigo, isso é uma das mecânicas essenciais de last of us e para mim é a melhor parte do gameplay.

    Historia: Last Of Us é aquele jogo que vc termina e passa meses pensando nele, para mim uma das histórias mais envolventes que joguei na minha vida, eu adorei, merece muito todos os prémios que recebeu . Entretanto não gostei de duas situações que aconteceram no jogo, a primeira a morte de Joel, até pensei que isso iria ocorrer durante o jogo, mas não tão cedo como foi. A segunda ter que jogar com Abby durante a metade do jogo, entendo que queriam mostrar o lado dela, mas eu prefiriria jogar com Joel ou Ellie.

    Gameplay: Simple but well polished, nothing innovative but that is not a problem. What I like about Last Of Us gameplay is the search for resources and thinking about the best type of approach to kill an enemy. I play a lot of 3-person shooting games and none of them makes me stop and think with which weapon I should finish an enemy, this is one of the essential mechanics of last of us and for me it is the best part of the gameplay.

    Story: Last Of Us is that game that you finish and spend months thinking about it, for me one of the most engaging stories I've played in my life, I loved it, it deserves all the prizes it received. However, I didn't like two situations that happened in the game, the first being Joel's death, I even thought that this would happen during the game, but not as early as it was. The second having to play with Abby during the middle of the game, I understand that they wanted to show her side, but I would prefer to play with Joel or Ellie.    … Expand

Exclusive with the best graphics on ps4, best facial expressions in the history of video games, a jaw-dropping level design; exploration, stealth and shooter gameplay very dynamic and large and incredibly detailed scenarios. In addition to Gustavo Santaolalla's discrete but very striking soundtrack. Now on the issue of the plot of the game, as the creator and director himself had said before, it would not please everyone and was not made for that. It was made to really hurt. The sudden and raw death of one of the most remarkable characters in history, Joel. The introduction of one of the most controversial characters ever made, Abby. A script proposal with different points of view and an ending for Ellie with a very bitter and extremely depressing taste. All these factors were enough to split the consolidated fan base of the 1st game, and that was the intention. The Last Of Us Part II is not a game for everyone and never will be. The fundamental factor to like this game is to have empathy for characters that you initially hated. If you don't, you certainly won't like it. This is the most emotionally complex game ever made. In short, a remarkable, emotional and extremely sad story. I often say that The Last Of Us Part II was not the game we wanted, but it was what we needed.… Expand

    The most intense game I've played yet. The gameplay is pretty good but the cinematic quality of the cutscenes are incredible. I've been thinking about the ending to this day. Also, the last of us franchise is very special to me since it was the first game my sister had ever gotten interested JUST by seeing some cutscenes on the tv in the background. We were soooo excited for this game andThe most intense game I've played yet. The gameplay is pretty good but the cinematic quality of the cutscenes are incredible. The game is just an attempt to make you feel sad, it goes out of its way just to provoke sadness. Learnt a lot of things with TLOU 1, but with this game I did not take any learnings at all...One of the biggest insults to players I've seen in my life.     اللعبة تمثل كل ما هو سيئ في عالم الالعاب ،تم استغلال شعبية الجزء الأول من اللعبة في تحويل الجزء الثاني الى وسيلة اعلامية لنشر افكار مسمومة ، و منصة لترويج أجندة مدسوسة . اعلانات اللعبة مغالطة جدا و كاذبة ولا تعكس حقيقة اللعبة ابدا ، تم الترويج على ان شخصية جول ستكون من الشخصيات الرئيسية في اللعبة تماما كالجزء الاول ، و لكن تم استبدال جول بشخصية اخرى على خلاف كل ما قيل من المطورين و الاعلانات التي سبقت اصدار اللعبة. اذا كنت تعتبر نفسك لاعب حقيقي، ابتعد عن هذه اللعبة قدر المستطاع ، لانها ليست لعبة و انما "بروباغاندا" اعلامية على شكل لعبة و انصح باقي اللاعبين في عدم شراء اللعبة.    … Expand

А вот и нет, почему практически в каждой игре про зомби люди не используют защиту от укуса? И вроде бы гг ещё в прошлой части получила укус за руку, т.к. руки - это основной инструмент ведения ближнего боя, так может стоит перевязать их или ещё что-нибудь придумать? Не, зомби здесь не представляют опасности, люди ходят в легкой одежде и не задумываются о будущем.
    Наверное главный противник людей в зомби апокалипсисе является человек, но и здесь игра умудряется разрушить всю атмосферу, когда в патруль отправляют беременную мадам. И ты уже не веришь в опасность происходящего. Чего? Враги там стреляют по нам? Да патроны просто холостые, ничего страшного, просто не смотрите на них и они не будут отрисовываться.

    Сюжет банален и прост как день, но с такими логическими дырами, что в жанр игры хочется добавить "комедия". Эбби, которая всем так нравится по сути является той ещё крысой, предавая своб общину ради... чего? Девочки, которая считает себя мальчиком. Вот это ПОВОРОТ, вот это сюжетищееее.
    Концов вызывает отвращение и непонимание. Элли, которая решила тайком слинять и завершить свой поход, да бы наконец-то быть спокойной и оставить прошлое в прошлом, оказывается пойманной Диной, которая уже родила и вместе с Элли растит ребёнка. И фактически ставит бросает Элли, ведь именно так и поступают близкие и любящие люди. Поддержать человека, прикрыть и остановить в нужный момент, как это сделала Лев для Эбби, нееет, а зачем, гораздо проще просто кинуть значимого для тебя человека и уйти в закат.    … Expand

    The story prefers to shock the player, instead of building the characters, so we could empathize with them.
    Since I couldn't forgive Abby, the game forces me to play 10 hours with the villain, then don't even give me the option to choose the final. I didn't feel I could alter the story in the slightest, only watch.    … Expand

    There was a big hype before the game release and I heard many critics about this game, but to be honest, it was the best game I've ever played. I really don't know what to say, it is a masterpiece or some gruesome, depressing movie that spits in your **** face al the way. First of all, I want to talk about everything except the story. The graphics are amazing. My 6 years old poor Ps4 can show something incredible, I could not believe in it. But it has minor issues such as popping details and textures in front of you. The gameplay almost the same, however, it is really upgraded with motion matching technology and you can see love and care of devs in every NPC, zombie, they are looking amazing. Some of the people say: "This is boring, throw bottle there, kill him, shoot there, go find supplies blah blah blah", do not listen to them, it is a pure lie, the gameplay is actually fascinating, especially on higher difficulty. While playing The last of us part 2, I saw so many ridiculous features and details I could not believe my eyes, but when you want to destroy a bottle ( not a throwable), lamp, burn a car, burn a tent, blow up a piece of furniture, shoot off a gun or walk on corpses, you cannot do this and it's really **** upsetting. All those crunches and years for what? For **** carpet, if you barely walk by, it will be lifted by air(first zombie encounter in Jackson(Ellie)), the blood and gore sure look dope. Music is a masterpiece( at least it was not ruined). They decided to change Gustavo Santaolalla to Mac Qualey for more intense moments such as hordes, car chase, horse chase and so on. Now the story. Two hours seems peaceful( not Abby's sequence) until Joel's horrible death. Okay, I get it, **** revenge at all cost. The first part of the game we play as our beautiful Ellie then after Jesse's death we play as **** fridge till the end to know her backstory and her not related to the story path. Okay, I will swallow it too. IT WAS SO **** LONG AND UNINERESTING SEQUENCE I wanted to speedrun it. When I understood that I will have to beat the crap out of Ellie, GODDAMN ELIEE by the **** muscle fridge, I wanted to delete this game. I wanted revenge so much. After a while, I met Abby, started fighting with her. She would have almost drowned but Ellie decided not to kill her. REALLY? Well, I can understand why she chose not to kill her, to break a cycle of violence but it was so poorly written, shown that I cannot help but thinking about the mess Neil made of the story. He should have given us a choice to kill or not to kill the fridge or just kill her to show how revenge is bad and devastating. He should have forgotten that stupid idea of the CycLE of VIoLEnCe because we are killing too many people just not to kill the main target. I could not give it a 0 or 1, or 2, or freaking 3 but solid 8 or 7 'cause this is a masterpiece of everything except some parts of the story.     Like how did Joel and his brother come from nowhere to save Abby and her gang. Then how did Ellie end up right before Joel's death in the middle of nowhere?

    Forced story such as Abby and her dad saving a zebra and playing with dogs while Ellie is shown to be hating animals. Like why? This was an obvious trick to make players like Abby and dislike Ellie and they failed miserably in it.

    "Revenge is Bad" I know but why is a pregnant woman out in the forests shooting and doing things she shouldn't.

    This game's direction was horrible as hell, so was the push of stupidity.

It developes a heartful and touching story that makes the player think about the weight of the revenge and its consequences. This game has a story that is too perfect for the gameplay its coupled with and while admittedly is underwritten in some areas, perhaps captures mourning, regret, and anger better than any game, movie, or book I've ever encountered. The last of us as a whole is about the effects of loving selfishly and the effects of loving selflessly. As Joel selfishly loved Ellie for the first game, the second is about how both Ellie and Joel learn to selflessly love and requires that you love the game selflessly as well. As infuriating as playing a character who you love makes the wrong choices endlessly, it brings out anger in you and if you can overcome will leave you with a better understanding of what the game is about. Ellie wanted to be the girl to lose herself for the sake of the world, but instead, Ellie's the girl who lost her world for the sake of herself.

Than comes the news of the sequel and i´m both concerned and exited and it´s now obvious that i had reason to be concerned. The sequel didnt improve in pretty much anything being worse in every facet. The memory of this beautiful story is now forever ruined because of the last of us part 2.

    I can’t describe into words the emotions I felt along the way of this amazing journey. It’s honestly the only game that has made me feel these things along with Shadow of the Colossus on the ps2. It’s a must play if you liked the first one and I highly recommend sticking with the game until the end.

    This is my first time ever reviewing a game and to start this with The Last of Us Part 2 is quite a complex an intricated task. I will spare you with the **** that yeah it got undeserved hate and **** because I personally think that's not what a review about this game should be. The Last of Us Part 2, in my opinion, is one of the finest pieces of art in story telling with intricate chracaters with an emotional development that is far deeper than one may think. It is understandable that some people are angry about some deaths. It is sadto see thse characters that we loved previously or learn to love just go ina licker of amoment. What oneshould never forget is that this world has never been a forgiving one. It is a ruthless post apocalyptic world where truly all sense of humanity has gone. Both characters that you play with, slowly but surely, you understand their mindset and their way of thinking together. As Abby, you are on the path of redemption as a player. She lost any sense humanity in her quest in avenge her father. And in total honesty, so did Ellie. The little girl that we carried all across the states is no more. She's now a ruthless killer avenging Joel. No one in this story is right. As human beings, we make mistakes more than we do good deeds. And we should be able to forgive each other. By ending the game as they did, Naughty Dog not only stops this cycle of violence, but also sets Ellie, on her path for redemption. Thank you for reading I hope you enjoyed it.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Let me start this off by saying the first part was incredibly overhyped, it had only two highlights: main characters and graphics. The story itself was nothing to write home about (still, better than average), but the relationship development between the characters made it worth experiencing. Gameplay was honestly abysmal for such a highly rated game.

    It's pretty much the same thing here, vastly improved, but still very basic gameplay, truly amazing graphics. However, the story-characters situation is reversed, the story itself is very good, but characters are often very sappy, stupid, tendentious and, quite often, boring. Though I admit I liked the universally hated Abby, she's the only one with any real development.

    It's hard to convey what I mean by that and keep it short, it's also really not worth it since prolly no one will read it anyway, apart from resident SJWs and fanbois who will downvote it to hell, but I'll try.

    I'll focus on the bullet points I brought up previously with a few examples, keeping it light on spoilers, mostly referring to minor details present in the game (which are the main way that they're trying to send THE MESSAGE through).

    *So, about a fourth into the game you're playing as Ellie, trekking through a city with Dina, discussing how they're going to own a farm, sheep and so on, even though mere seconds ago they nearly fell into multiple traps, fought LOADS of enemies and they're going through hostile territory. The perfect moment for making future plans and showing THEY'RE ALSO HUMAN.

    *Later on, Abbynator teams up with a trans boy, Lev, who journeys to his mother, who rejected him because of her traditional beliefs, to make her accept him being trans. They quarrel, he kills her by accident, his sister comes up to him and tells him it was self-defense. So it's ok to force others to accept that you're trans, sound logic.

    *Overall, Abbynator, while being the best character IMO, has some tendentious moments as well. She crushes all the puny men in her way, most of the time they don't have a chance against her. Of course, she also gets crucified by the end of the game, along with her little trans martyr and refuses to fight Ellie. And pulverizes everything with her bare fists, she no need baby man tools.

    *Only women are capable of forgiving.

    *Apart from Abby's father (who's dead), there's not a single positive white or black male character in the game, all of them turn into **** at one point or another. There are positive males though, so there's that.

    *Good uncle Tommy, which always did right by Ellie, at the end forces her to seek revenge. Makes perfect sense, especially in the light of him previously trying to trick her into staying home so she wouldn't go out.

    *Two tiny, but STRONG women are going around lifting, by the look of it, 300 pound (or maybe even more) doors all by their lonesome. This is a very minor and gamey detail, but it's just so ridiculous that I couldn't omit it.

    That should suffice, the game is chockfull of moments like these, which take away from the experience IMO and could've been done better, especially with the game relying so heavily on it's story.

    Also regarding what all the fan bois are raving about, that is Abbynator terminating Joel and her whole story arc, it's hard to sympathize with her knowing Joel's motivations and the way Fireflies received him after going through all his toils in the first game, but she couldn't have known that and is fitting for her character.

    With all that said, the plot itself has some weak points as well, like cheap overreliance on romantic and sexual relations between characters and cheap drama.
    In one case, extremely cheap, backed by bad writing. I'm thinking of the scene in which Ellie and Dina go to a theater where Dina explains she's shocked with Ellie's immunity, only to reveal few sentences later that she's pregnant. Instant drama. This scene imitates **** movies so hard it's hilarious, it would be acceptable if Dina was established as a drama queen but she's not and it makes no **** sense whatsoever.

    And of course, it's far from being original, while the first game was an amalgamation of different stories with some original bits and pieces, this is a straight up old school western, with a clearly biased modern social commentary tacked on.

    To sum it all up, good game; average story; basic, linear gameplay that only serves as a bridge between parts of the story; worth experiencing if you've got a PS4 or have a mate with one and a lot of time on his hands (this game is LONG and drags on because of the poor gameplay). They should really be making movies instead of games.

    Edit: Oh, and it's excruciatingly boring, combat is fine, has a good feel to it, but stealth has no depth and it's unfortunately the better option most of the time.    … Expand

    Not a bad game but by far the most disappointing one I’ve ever played. Writing is contrived and lazy full of plot holes and convenience, gameplay is serviceable but outdated and gets tedious due to the games run time with a lack of innovation and set pieces, making for pretty poor pacing. Characters are extremely unlikeable from both ends and make ridiculously unbelievable decisions whichNot a bad game but by far the most disappointing one I’ve ever played. Highlights were flashbacks and could’ve been much better if they were arranged in a more cohesive order. A brave but poorly executed sequel. I’ll save you 25 hours and however much money by saying revenge is bad, because that’s really all this games narrative has to say along with other basic level messaging to lecture the player, rather than immerse them in a captivating, character-building story like the first game did so well.     My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.
    I waited 5 years to play this
    And they gave me a horrible intro and **** ending
    I just want to forget about this game.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
