    Dopo la morte di Joel, la voglia di vendetta e di vendicarlo ti assale e il gioco ti prepara per viverla.
    Il problema inizia quando inizi a vivere la storia da Abby; vani tentativi di farti amare un personaggio banale e odioso, con una caratterizzazione che ti porta a fartelo disprezzare da subito.
    Personaggi importanti che muoiono senza manco un minimo di focalizzazione su quanto accaduto.
    Un gioco che per quanto lento sembra non finire mai e che non ha un degno finale, ma tutto il gioco si può riassumere con "come se non fosse successo nulla".
    Grafica e dettagli di altissimo livello che vanno a scontrarsi con un IA non proprio "Intelligente" e cambi di dinamiche di gioco per cui non puoi essere minimamente pronto e ti obbligato al morire al first try.
    Il finale penso sia il peggio possibile, neanche immaginabile prima di giocarlo.

To think this game is about revenge is exactly what consumed Ellie throughout the course of the game and led her down a painful and self-destructive path towards the end. The closure we're given between Ellie and Joel on the porch was a light at the end of the tunnel for Ellie's road to finally leave the past behind and reconciliate with herself.     Disgusting what they did to Joel. He deserved better. It’s ridiculous what the creators did just for “shock value”. It’s lazy story telling. When movies and games do this it’s pathetic. Just like the dog being killed in the movie “The Lobster”. There is a specific name in theatre and film when this happens, but I can’t think of what it’s called exactly..what I can say is people who thinkDisgusting what they did to Joel. He deserved better.     Saben este juego es muy curioso y por eso es mi juego favorito historia para toda la vida, este juego te hacer sentir sensaciónes que en ningún otro juego te hace, lo más parecido es Red Dead Redemption 2 pero este es especial aparte me gusta que de ahuevo te quieran mryer la historia de Abby ya que te hacen ver qué Ellie y Joel y todo ellos no son los únicos importantes en esta historia

The dead of Jessi, like a **** If this characters are like humans why you keep leaving Abby if she is who commited her vengance, is annoying.

Basing it as a sequel it's not bad, but some of the previous points are thrown out, for example, Joel and his brother's personality not being cautious as the stories they told from the first game, Ellie's personality changed a lot, it's shown that she still has the heart to collect cards but not get PSVita? , etc.

    The story is much more focused on Abby forcing people to like her rather than Ellie or Joel which was loved from the previous game. Abby's character didn't get much depth and didn't even hesitate to kill Joel even after being was saved by the Miller brothers when she got separated from her group and being overwhelmed by the infected.

    The story and it's graphics are the only thing that hold this game together, but the story failed to live up from its predecessor. The gameplay is already generic since the first game and the weapon customization is not that deep.

    All in all it's not a bad game if the first game didn't exist.    … Expand

    The Story is very Good and the graphics are incredible.
    Its very brutal but it underlines the Story.
    Thank you Naughty Dog for creating this Masterpiece of Storytelling

    Gameplay incrível. Nunca vi algo tão incrível em um jogo. Alguma apessoado reclamam da história, mas pois não entendem que esse é um mundo apocalítico e ninguém está salvo! Sim, fiquei muito triste com oque acontece, mas assim como na vida real, merdas acontecem e você não pode mudar.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. if i were to rate this a year ago when the game came out this would no doubt be a 10 for me. i loved my first play through but going back a few weeks ago i have some issues with it.

    the games far too long. on average it’s took me around 23 hours to beat. i get that they want you to play as both characters but does each section need to be upwards of 10 hours? and on top of that you also have to do the unnecessary santa barbra 2 hour killing spree just to get to the end of the game and have ellie do nothing to abby. the person she hates the most and who she’s wanted dead for the last 25 hours of gameplay. what-

    the love triangles. one is pushing it but 2? really naughty dog? at least with dina, ellie, and jesse you have some character development and they come across as somewhat interesting but mel and owen are barely characters. owen is only there to be a love interest for abby but then mel is there to be the love interest for owen... how does that make any sense? and then owen just ends up cheating on mel, his pregnant girlfriend with abby the night before ellie comes and murders them. talk about jamming plot into the span of almost no time.

    the pacing. if you’re telling me this game has good pacing you’re objectively wrong. if you actually wanna play the game you have to wait 2 hours and slowly sit and wait to watch joel die so you can go to seattle and actually play the game and forward plot. it’s obnoxious. and no i’m not mad because joel died, he absolutely deserved to. joel was by no means a good person and people tend to forget that because he’s the main character saving this girl but he hurt a lot of people and i think he deserved it. as much as i loved joel i can’t say his death was unexpected it was just the question of how. and i think his death was fine. he had literally no option but to go with abby because he would’ve died there and then by zombies if he didn’t go. but you play for 13 hours as ellie getting revenge for her father figure that was murdered in front of her and then you wake up for day 4 and jesse immediately dies, tommy gets pinned, ellie looks as if she’s about to get shot and then boom. you switch abby. who you play as for the next 9-10 hours of the game. i physically had to stop for a bit after the switch because it was so **** stupid. the only part that saved abby’s section was yara and lev who are by far the most interesting characters in that game. them and the seraphites kind of ways are very interesting to hear about and see. the rat king boss fight is also really intense and enthralling and i can’t say i was expecting that. as well as day 3 with abby when you get to the seraphite island and make it to yara and lev’s mom to find out she’s dead and then have to escape the island in hopes of getting away from both scars and wlf is really fun and exciting. but that first day as abby is truly miserable. they present it as if it’s an entire other game and start from scratch with a brand new storyline 12 hours into a game you thought was already getting a bit repetitive; but for the sake of ellie and to see how she got out you kept going. and those flashback placements.. my god. you have a day full of action you’re psyched for the next exhilarating thing and boom you’re in a museum with joel. it’s a real turn and while i loved seeing joel it felt out of place and just there for the sake of being there. also the ellie storyline of revenge is bad but also let’s go kill all of these people one by one brutally for information about someone we’ll end up sparing is extremely confusing.

    overwhelming positives:
    as i said yara and lev’s storyline really shined and made the game for me. hearing about what they’ve been through and lev’s backstory is so so interesting and always had me wanting more. the visuals and atmosphere were stunning and you feel as if you were really in a post apocalyptic version of the areas. i also loved the combat mechanics and the stealth options. never have i seen a game do stealth better then this one. the ability to duck in a building and hide in a room after mowing people down or lunging into a field of grass and picking people off with your silenced pistol was so so cool and fun. day 2 as ellie really stuck out because of its nonstop combat and exploration of areas whether it be in hillcrest or the hospital there was always something new.

    overall the game sticks out. for good and for bad. it will still resonate with me for making me so invested in something during a time where it was hard for me to enjoy life. and while it has some major flaws it’s still at the end of the day the last of us, not the one we all loved years ago but the one that showed us how brutally honest that world can be. it’s an extremely raw and emotional game that should be seen as it is. it’s not groundbreaking it’s not horrendous. it’s the last of us part 2.    … Expand

But the story was utterly butchered thanks to the new 'direction' they took the game. Killing an essential character that everyone loves (Which also was on the box art and everything to make believe that you would actually play as joel.) pure for shock value is such an weird way full of plot-holes is bad. Really bad. Rewriting Joel's character to make him trust strangers is weird and didn't feel like a man that survived as much as he did in the first one.

    gameplay 9/10
    story 3/10 because the beginning parts were nice.

    While it was not what I was expecting nor what I wanted this game was one of the most emotional and powerful things I have experienced. While many will disagree with the strong narrative choices chosen by the writers I think it was bold and the ending will leave you thinking about the last 20 hours for days to come.

I felt the beginning felt rushed to me, but I don't think it's too bad. Just a few coincident that could be annoying to some. These are probably due to wanting to get to the main meat of the game, butAwesome. Engaging story, fun mechanics and interesting characters.     Sabían que venderían mucho, ya que el nombre del juego vende, se las quisieron dar de inclusivo y le jugaron al verg@s, pero que creen no les salió bien, todo lo contrario es la peor secuela que haya jugado, lo único que hace bien es cagarse encima de todo lo que hizo bien la primera parte.     This game was a profound experiance, equal parts aggravating and traumatizing. I really don't understand people's disappointment, experiancing a story is not always about getting the fuzzy, touchy feely positive buzz. Not every story has a happy ending, and not every story needs one.

    Unbelievably good and by far the best game of PS4’s lifespan. It’s bold, original and it will make you feel all sorts of things. Pretty much every aspect is perfect but it’s really the story, specially in its final moments, that will leave a lump in your throat for a long time to come. Please do not believe the short-sighted reviews, this game really is one for the books.

Premetto che la Naughty Dog è una delle mie aziende produttrici di videogiochi preferite, perché le trame sono sempre appassionanti e i personaggi sempre magnificamente caratterizzati. Questa volta però ho notato un calo eclatante a livello di regia: la storia non è interessante, i personaggi non sono interessanti (a me hanno fatto incazzare, soprattutto Ellie, insopportabile!), l'evoluzione dei rapporti tra i personaggi non è interessante. Mi sono annoiato dal quasi inizio alla fine. Da estimatore del primo capitolo, il mio gioco preferito, posso dire che il secondo va a ad inquinare quella che sarebbe potuta essere una serie meravigliosa. Si trovano tematiche lgbt leggermente sforzate e il femminismo è espresso in tutta la sua pienezza: omosessualità, genitorialità omosessuale, transessualismo, la donna che va in guerra anche se incinta, la maggior parte dei nemici sono donne, la donna leader, l'uomo spesso è assoggettato dalla donna, l'uomo che si comporta da idiota (due tizi avrebbero avuto tutto il tempo e tutte le motivazioni per ammazzare Ellie e Dina ma non lo fanno, incredibile!!!), la donna possente/bodybuilder ecc (ci sono tutte le tipologie di donna esistenti mentre l'uomo non conta un xxx, si veda ad esempio la fine che fanno gli uomini rispetto alle donne). Io non ho nulla in contrario a queste riflessioni, anzi, la mia migliore amica è lesbica, ma costantemente si ha l'impressione di stare ad assistere a una discussione politica non connaturata al titolo. Voglio dire, quando videogioco mi piace godermi le belle storie, non assistere a propagande del cazzo. Inoltre anche il mondo di TLOU II è completamente diverso da quello di TLOU: non è più un mondo brutale ma una semplice guerra tra fazioni. In conclusione la trama la ritengo pessima e estremamente noiosa ed è impossibile stabilire un legame empatico con nessun personaggio eccetto Joel, che pur irriconoscibile rispetto a quello del precedente titolo sembra cavarsela. Per quanto riguarda il gameplay, discreto tendente al sufficiente: la schivata, unica vera innovazione, mi pare un movimento poco naturale, gli scontri coi boss non sono per nulla innovativi (decisamente meglio era il combattimento Nathan Drake - Nadine anche se parecchio scriptato), l'utilizzo dei martelli mi ha fatto sorridere ecc. Il comparto audio e sonoro è ottimo: meno male che Santaolalla ha fatto ancora il suo lavoro come si deve.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Last of Us part 2 is a tale filled with tragedy and even more death but this does not take away from the beauty that can be found within. The first last of us game is widely considered as a classic video game with very few faults, the story is both tragic and heart warming and the connection between Joel and Ellie is almost second to none. The second installment of the franchise however is a drastic change in tone. Almost instantly the player is hit with an emotional moment that is one of the main dividing features of this game and often causes the most controversy. The story also can be very disjoined at times with numerous flash backs and sometimes flash backs in flash backs. The gameplay is a massive improvement over the first game, making all melee weapons feel weighty and all the guns feel like they need extra precision. The graphics also are absolutely stunning, the sheer amount of detail within the vast landscapes are simply breath taking. All in all the story is a beautiful mess with disjointed segments and sometimes un necessary plot beats. The gameplay is masterful and fun and of course the graphics are drop dead gorgeous. If you are a fan of the first game I highly advise you to play this but with managed expectations.… Expand

Я никогда не забуду эту историю и ее персонажей! Что касается технической части игры, то она доведена до почти абсолютного идеала. Это настоящий пример качества того, как надо создавать игры.

    This game blew me away. I was skeptical from the people telling me it was garbage but after a friend gave me his copy I was shocked on how amazing and innovating this game is with its story writing and it’s attention to detail in gameplay. This is a must play for all gamers

The graphics are wonderful, the gameplay is very good although similar to the previous installment, but the story is one of the worst of this year: The writers take the content very bad especially because the ending was very bad, do you really kill half the world and you forgive the antagonist? That message they wanted to give us is a total contradiction. A lousy narrative with a message that is not convincing. If you are true fans, this game is going to make you mad.

    terrible story. absolute polluting of the beautiful game the first one was. the game was still beautiful, but that was it. just an eye candy. wish they didnt make the second one at all. so that the first one could be just left as a masterpiece with the future story depending on each player’s imaginations.

    Not quite as great as the first, but I was overall very pleased with the final product. The visuals and gameplay is a huge improvement of the first and many other ps4 games, the story was emotionally draining, and the motion capture is beyond amazing. I still believe the pacing and structure could’ve been improved, but it doesn’t take away from the fact the I love this game.

    Horrible letdown that messes up everything good about the first one. Its just an excuse of a game to promote a "woke" cultural agenda. It may have great graphics, but this game is not worth your money at all. It ruined the thrill I had for naughty dog and I won't ever be excited to buy any of their future products again.

So this game already had huge shoes to fill, which probably worked against it in the reviews as the bar was set extremely high. Is this game as good as the first game? I would have to say no. But it stands on its own as a very good game, up there with the best of this generation. I will say that the open world aspects of the game were massively overhyped as you only encounter one area where this occurs early on in the game. This was probably the most enjoyable area and I would have liked more of this. Otherwise you have levels which are fairly linear. I also feel combat was fairly overhyped as it is not vastly different than the first game and is not much of an evolution. Combat however is still fun, a bit more variety in combat and openness in levels would have made this game even better. Ultimately the game is about mans darker nature and how it corrupts everything around it. This game is especially concerned with exploring the idea of moral grey areas and humanizing ones enemies. In real life there are no cartoonish villains, each person has their own rationalizations and motivations and naughty dog wanted to highlight this aspect of human nature. Naughty dog wanted to take you on a journey from hating someone to being able to understand someone. Reflecting all of this internal struggle is the different external factions at war with one another, pushed to the brink of survival. The game is concerned with asking the broader questions about human nature and what choices we will make in regards to one another. Will we choose to continue on a path of hatred, violence and revenge even though it destroys our lives - or are we going to rise above those decisions? Spoiler part - Having loved the first game so much it was definitely hard to lose Joel so quickly, however I feel it was a natural progression and consequence from the last game. It is easy to justify the killing of cannibals or one dimensional villains, but that is not reflective of actual human nature or reality and doesn't provoke any deeper reflection regarding our actions. This game is able to take us on an emotional journey a lot of games do not and judging by its polarizing reception, its clear that it was successful at provoking the emotions it intended. Anyone who would give this game zero to one stars is not being reasonable by any stretch of the imagination.… Expand

    The story and the gameplay here are all amazing. To be fair if you were looking for a cathartic ending that leaves you feeling good, you won't get it here. You'll get a gut punch and a slap to the face and then credits role but that doesn't equal bad, that equals reality and the way stories sometimes end in the real world.     En cuanto al apartado técnico, jugable y sonoro el juego es un verdadero 10 de 10, pero una historia tan pésima, con personajes tan olvidables y aparte mal contada, opacó sobre manera estas virtudes y solo me hizo sentir la necesidad de terminarlo rápido para parar de sufrir, cuando un juego me da esas ganas de querer terminarlo lo mas rápido posible porque me resulta asfixiante entonces significa que algo muy malo está pasando, y para mi la nueva obra de ND no merece nisiquiera un 7, es la experiencia mas espantosa, bochornosa y con un mensaje prograsista tan hediondo que me llega a resultar vomitivo y completamente innecesario, por todo esto este juego merece un 2 y creo que soy piadoso, 60 dolares completamente mal gastados.    … Expand

    А почему мне не хочется этого признавать? потому что он был очень тяжелым. В игре то и дело убивают или калечат героев, к которым тебя привязали, не обязательно до смерти, зачастую после. Постоянно меняется время событий, то тебя переносят на 4 - 3 года назад, то 6 месяцев, то вперед, поэтому и игралось на одном дыхании, она не успевала тебе надоесть, не было какой то статичности, впрочем как и в первой части. Финал игры был особенно тяжелым. Всю игру нас готовили к тому что бы мы убили Эбби, хотя и под конец я этого делать не хотел. И вот, последняя встреча, кровь, крики, плачь, и они расходятся. Казалось бы это хорошо, я не хотел смерти ни одной Героини, но внутри осталось пустота, как и в доме Элли, когда она туда вернулась. Сбылся ее главный страх, она осталась одна.

    Ни один сюжет в играх не заставлял так себя обсуждать, наверное это что-то значит.    … Expand

Roteiro, jogabilidade incomparável ... é tanto ponto positivo que nota 10 é pouco. Enfim, de fato as notas não importam. Joguem o jogo e dê a sua nota. Pra quem "joga" no YouTube, a diferença é absurda. Não dá pra nem pra comparar.

    This is my first ever review on Metacritic. I felt the need to write this because I feel a wrong has to be righted here (User Score). A wrong which many other users have done in rating this game poorly, due to various reasons. Some did it because of a hate for other sexualities, some due to the violence portrayed, some because they could not digest things which the game showed ("How could the villain be good, or the hero be bad, and so on"). Some people came and put ratings even without playing the game!
    I felt the need to come here and explicitly give a perfect rating not only because I liked the game and wanted to push the rating up, but because this game is as close to a perfect portrayal of human emotions and human beings as anything can get. It's a masterpiece. It's a game which people would feel fortunate to play in their lifetime, if taken in the right spirit. Never seen a game present a story in such a beautiful way. Has an unbelievable variety of atmospheric effects, next-gen graphics, brilliant gameplay, great music, and the absolute best in plot presentation. It's a game which is not only played, but experienced as well. And experience you will; you can't miss that. This is the epitome of achievement in game development. Naughty Dog, take a bow!

    Amazing graphics, better than the first when it came out.
    Well written daring story that challenges ones emotions to the extreme, almost like the first one, but even more. And the gameplay is really smooth and fun, I would have given it 11/10 but it lacks multiplayer.

I was not expecting what happened to Joel, which played with my emotions, but as the story goes on, the twists and turns are superb. At first you wouldn't think it, but after finishing the game my favourite character is abbie, which goes to show how compelling the story is.

    After reading and watching different reviews I thought the game is not worth buying. I got mine on the winter sale. And I don't regret it.
    Technically the game is awesome. Graphics and gameplay are astonishing. Plot is good, but controversial. It makes you think a lot about revenge, human nature, good and bad.

    2. every time your character is entering a dark building or so, the first thing it does is screaming something like "HEEEELLOOOO IS SOMEBODY HERE???" or is shouting and talking with some friend which is waiting outside. Every time that happened i was like "what?? shut tf up! what if there are enemies in here?"
    but i guess those points make the game even more intense, because every gunshot is valuable and the horror intensifies when the character is shouting like an idiot.

    I did not play the first part and i do not understand why all the people are butthurt about this game, but i read the negative reviews and most of them say "the story is the worst story ever in a videogame", "the characters are so bad" and "that is such bad writing". Are you serious? Objectively, thats just not true. The story is great and therefore it must be some bs agenda against the game because the main character is gay or it's different from the first part... I don't know.

    You can dislike some things in the game, but you cannot have played this game and give it 0 Score. That's so disrespectful towards everyone who put all their heart in this game, and you can clearly see that everyone involved did. User core is 5.7 - are you kidding me?
    I just created a metacritic account to counteract to this nonsense. And every positive review has this rate of "100 of 900 people thought this is helpful" hahahaha you little butthurt kiddos. bye    … Expand
