    Parece un DLC del primer juego... ha mejorado gráficamente y técnicamente se siente un poco mejor... pero no lo siento innovador, me siento jugando al primero. la historia incoherente con las decisiones de Allie y la manera en como terminan los personajes.... era mayor la expectativa.

I'm not going to spend too much time on the original, but what made that game great was how the gameplay tied in with the narrative. Everything Joel (the player) did was thematically linked to the overall narrative of a story of a father who has already lost one child and is tasked to protect another.

    Full disclosure - the gameplay of the first did not particularly stand out to me, but the narrative was strong enough to carry it home. And that is crucial, because the sequel absolutely failed in that regard.

    in TLoU2, you control Ellie. No big deal, already done that in Left Behind. I'm going to ignore her actions in this game simply because she's 19. I'm going to give that a pass because you can attribute most of her utter idiocy to teen angst, although even that becomes really hard later on.

    However, you do gain control of another character. This character is, without a doubt, the most repulsive character in any video game, and you are forced into the perspective of this character in order to humanise them. I do not mean repulsive in way most detractors would try to frame it - hateful, negative and bigoted. I mean repulsive in the context of a player of a sequel to The Last of Us. Even if this character was Nelson Mandela himself, the actions of him/her would immediately vilify them to the player, with no hope of redemption. It's like if Locke actually killed Master Chief in Halo 5.

    While I understand that, in the post apocalyptic world of TLoU, things don't make sense all the time, it does not mean the people living in it have no common sense. Unfortunately, nothing makes sense to the player as the actions of the protagonists in TLoU2 do not resonate like they did in TLoU. For example, if in TLoU you had a choice to save Ellie or leave her with the Fireflies, which would you choose? If Joel actually left her, would that make any sense at all? That would immediately ruin the game and its reputation because of how disconnected that would be to the narrative of the game.

    in TLoU2, you are forced into that disconnect, and that cognitive dissonance has genuinely made the game unbearable at times. As a result, the laughable story completely failed to provide a compelling reason to play the game, and this is not helped by the aforementioned average gameplay.

    I can make a case for the game being 6/10. It's not broken, it's perfectly playable with excellent graphics and average gameplay. Were it a standalone game, I can see it being a 7/10. However, It definitely loses points for being a sequel. The biggest kicker is when you finally finish the game. You do not look back and think 'I had a good time', because it felt like a slog with no payoff. One can argue it was to drive home the moral of the story. If that is the case, I cannot possibly give the game more any than a 6 because of how hypocritical and self-indulgent Naughty Dog is.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First off; they took characters we learned to love and respect, and kill them off like it was The Walking Dead. They take Ellie and paint her as a villain for trying to avenge the death of a man who was basically her father. They make the fact that Joel saved her a bad thing, which makes her hate him to an extent. They make Joel have an uneventful and dry death that even makes us want to mourn for him as he didnt deserve it at all. The writing is dry, the characters are shells of what we knew them to be. The fact that they took Ellie from a happy bounding 14 year old to a mean, awkward 18 year old just sucks. They made a bad ending where Ellie loses basically everything and doesnt even get the revenge that she deserved. They made every last scene of Joel and Ellie, the two who went across the country, bonding along the way. They make the whole fact that Ellie basically had her father die, a bad thing. They make you also play a second character who is literally evil, and yet she lives on with a child she bonded to. All Ellie gets is PTSD, a lost love and child, and two missing fingers.
    All in all:
    They ruin the characters we love, mostly Joel as he gets isolated from Ellie as she turns away from him. They make you sad during the whole thing as it is just bad people everywhere that you don't like.
    They spit on Joel's image and what he did in the first game, ruining everything the first game made to build up.
    Same with Ellie as she gets painted as some bad guy who is a killing machine with no limit.    … Expand

    I've not played the first one but still for me It was a great experience of playing this game, I didn't finish it yet, it will take some time but I freaking love it, 9/10

    The 1st couple hours are slow then picks up in action. Its the same formula as the 1st game that we all loved.

    Well, I don't know why but I've jumped on that hype train and expected way too much from this game. In fact we got a remastered first part with better graphics and a worse story. Level design is almost the same, all the levels are small and feel so, even if you compare to uncharted I felt more freedom there. And yeah I know it's 2020 and we all are super tolerant and so, but come on, thatWell, I don't know why but I've jumped on that hype train and expected way too much from this game. I got bored after the part we leave our city and start to solve how to open the gate, it so obvious that I turned my PS4 wich I bought with a bundle of the last of us 1 and went to sleep because this game is waste of your time.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. If you are expecting a fun, happy, relaxing game, The Last of Us Part II is not for you.
    Without comparing it to its predecessor, Part II handles itself very nicely. The graphics, environment and music in this game are, without a doubt, some of the best in the history of games. However, the game struggles in following a single plot, and it could arguably divide itself into two games: one with Ellie's story and one with Abby's story.
    Ellie's story is, with the exception of the way Joel is executed and her relationship development with Dina, what we were expecting from Naughty Dog. A violent, crude, brutal story of vengeance. The relationship with Dina is not appealing enough. This is caused by the inclusion of Abby's story into the game. The developers didn't focus enough in a single character, causing a lack of character development that ends up bringing the game's story down with it.
    Abby's story, on the other hand, is going to receive endless backlash. For us (players) to be able to play as a character as Abby, who tortures and cold-blooded murders Joel, Naughty Dog had to give us more reasons, backstory or empathy. That for only 15-20 minutes of gameplay as her. They didn't accomplish this. This also got us to miss a great part of Ellie's story.
    They accomplished something valuable. We get to completely hate Abby, and make us want to get justice for our beloved Joel. However, the ending goes against everything we worked for. Ellie breaks the revenge cycle by sparing Abby, but loses everything for doing so. Before this, Tommy separates from Maria and loses mobility on one of his legs. Meaning all of the characters from the first game get a depressing ending to their stories. Not only that, but it feels incomplete and empty.
    The only one who gets a "happy" ending is the character we grew to hate: Abby.
    It answers some of our questions from the first game, but with the worst possible outcomes. Ellie knew Joel was lying to her, and she doesn't quite forgive Joel for it. They get close to fixing their problems and become an ideal father-daughter relationship, but never accomplish this because of that big lie.
    Objectively speaking, Abby's actions are as justifiable as Joel's, but we get our hearts broken by them. From a player's perspective, they ruin everything we built in the first game in the most gruesome way possible.
    Comparing this game to the original:
    Gameplay: 2>1
    Soundtrack: Questionable, but 1>2
    Graphics: 2>1
    Environment: 2>1
    Character development: 1>2
    Story: 1>2, because of the plot holes.
    Suspense: 2>1
    We all knew Naughty Dog wasn't good with endings, but this was utterly ridiculous.    … Expand

    Absolute masterpiece, the storytelling is breathtaking. Graphics, gameplay, acting, everything is superb. Best game of this console generation and second best game of all time, as Part I is the best. Thank you Naughty Dog :)

    Very boring game. Go from A to B, watch a cutscene, rinse and repeat. Didn't like the story too, nothing new, secondary character are bad represented, and plot twists can be easily guessed. Same bad combat system of the first game too.

    Graphics... That's the only good thing about this. Everything else is either mediocre or down right awful. The game play did not evolve one bit since 2013. It's still a walking simulator that's more a movie than a game, which would be enjoyable if it had a good story but God damn is it bad. The story simply broke my heart and not in the good way. It's like a spit in the face of the entire fan base. It's like the worst fan fiction you could possibly find. Seriously? This is what you came up after 7 years? Did Twitter write this game? It's full of plot holes and the characters you fell in love with in the first game are completely ruined and you are forced to play with the character that ruined them. I don't mind the woke stuff but when so much of it is obviously forced down your throat it feels like the entire game was built around it so if people don't like it you can pull the victim card and say that they are ists and phobes and whatever. And the director to preach so much about sexualising women in games is bad only than to put that Abby scene in the game? I can't unsee that. WTF were you thinking? I'd rather watch 2 girls one cup on repeat while eating. Let me tell you a little secret western game devs. People are playing games for entertainment and they'd rather see pretty things while doing it than ugl.. excuse me FUGLY ones! This is never going to change. How is sexualising men was never an issue? People don't like to be preached to and to be told what to think. In a video game setting, that choice should be always ours.

    Useless gameplay mechanics, too much effort spent on dull, gray graphics that get boring in the first 5 minutes due to utter lack of colour, and absolutely laughable plot made more by an edgy middle-schooler on Tumblr than a AAA game studio. Progressive agendas win once again in the war against quality video games.

Fue uno de mis juegos favoritos de la generación pasada estaba en segundo año de secundaria cuando todos hablabamos de lo genial que era Jugar con Joel del shock de ver el principio y ver lo que sucedia con la hija de Joel, Sentir esa interaccion entre Joel y Ellie nervios de jugar en esos escenarios, y luego salio esta entrega no les voy a mentir me encanto como se veia es asombroso el nivel tecnico que tiene este juego, la mecanica de juego no soy fan del esquivo pero esta bien, visual, musical y jugabilidad excelente pero realmente era necesario, realmente valio la pena sacrificar la historia por algo tan simple por un "Plot Twist" tan basico como lo fue este juego y con un final taaaan cliche de idealismo moral naaa...… Expand

    This game is a masterpiece both looking and gameplay wise. Don’t listen to all these fake reviews that bash this game for no reason. Either they didn’t get more than 1 hour in or they are against lesbians. Either way they are bashing a great game with so much to offer making it a lasting staple in the final months of the current generation of consoles.

    The positive reviewers like to act like they are making good points when arguing why Joel was meant to die. One can argue that Joel deserves to die in order for the plot to move, he was never established as a morally good character and he made a selfish decision which condemned the human race. They set them self up with an insurmountable task of creating empathy for Abby. And they didn't even try, we got a ten minute scene where she saves a Zebra with her father then they reveal Abby is the person who convinced them Ellie should be murdered to save humanity. If the writers are trying to make the player empathize with Abby why would they establish her as the one who condemned Ellie which inevitably led to Joel killing her father?

    Later on in the story we are introduced to Lev who saves Abbys life. This prompts Abby to betray the wolves to save Lev. This decision of Abbys feels like a fruitless attempt by the writers to establish Abby as a morally good character in order to gain empathy from the audience. They're trying to define Abby as selfless contrary to her making numerous selfish decisions. It's hard to say anything for certain about Abby's character because every other decision is conflicting. One moment she is selfless the next she is selfish. When it comes to condemning Ellie her morals are for the good of the many but when it comes to saving Lev her morals are for the good of the few. She gets very angry when she finds out Ellie has killed her friends yet she's already betrayed these friends and was prepared to leave these friends behind to help Lev.

    The story overall is nonsensical and revolves around and characters literally abandoning and losing everything in a fruitless quest for revenge. Both Abby and Ellie quite literally sacrificed everything over avenging the deaths of two people in a world where everyone has lost someone. Death and violence is around almost every corner of this world. Yet for whatever reason these two people are so special our characters travel thousands of miles killing hundreds to enact their revenge. Even after watching the bond which is formed between Joel and Ellie in the first game I have a hard time believing that Joel's death was enough to bring on this murderous rampage. Especially after Joel and Ellie’s rough relationship has been established.

    This world isn't the same world we were put into in the first game. There is no hope in this world, there is only violence and sadness. The violence is so over the top that by the end of the game I was completely numb to it all. The game heavily relies on shock value that was brought about through overly violent and grotesque actions perpetrated towards beloved characters which was so overly used it left me feeling nothing when the game came to it's final conclusion and this mattered the most. At no point were we given any sort of relief or loving character development which gave us respite from the sadness and violence of this world previously. In the first game Ellie provided 90% of this relief from the awful world we were witnessing. But she is now a shadow of her former self, despite spending her years safe and sheltered in a settlement with electricity she has completely lost the spark we saw in the first game. The conclusion of the game is hollow, hundreds die in this needless revenge plot and one singular person being saved who the player has established no empathy for is supposed to bring meaning to all the meaningless violence.    … Expand

Joel is alive and nothing has happened to him. I think the devs should make a part 3 about the main universe where Joel saves Ellie and continue the story from there.

    Ruined franchise by an almost unbelievable bad story. So much stuff to discuss in a post apocalyptic world and Naughty Dog chooses to focus on an empty and stupid vengeance, sexuality and gender. For the sake of this agenda, it even killed a very loved character in a very hateful way. After finishing the game, I wish I haven't played it to preserve just TLOU1 in my memory.

I'm really sorry, but as a person who had to put down his dog, I don't want to play a game that forces me to kill one while watching her suffering and then make rub it in my face and make me feel like an ****
    And the sex scene... One of the dumbest and most disgusting sex scenes I've seen on screens. Great job with "not sexualizing" women.
    The only upside is the graphics, which are gorgeous. The animations are top-notch as well.
    This game should have been great, but it really sucks what it turned out to be. And it really sucks for all those developers and artists and Naughty Dog, because you can see how much work was put in it and how many crunches they had to go through. But unfortunately, this game is ruined by bleak, horrible characters and even worse plot, that was written with a whole purpose of taking everything you loved about the first part, ripping it in pieces, and setting it on fire together with your house.    … Expand

    -Graphics 9/10: Not much to say here, the Game looks insanly good. Only negative is the frame-rate.
    Ppl should wait till the PS5 release to get the optimal experience out of it.

    -Level design 2/10: Holy **** are these Levels "just there". They look beautiful and all, but are so empty
    they are very linear with almost no 2nd path or something to explore. Even some
    Call of Duty Levels are more interesting.
    -AI 4/10: Improved but very dated, feels like Im playing a stealth game from 2014.

    Fazit: I would give the Game a 4/10, from a technical point the Game is solid, but the Gameplay and Levels leave much to be desired and are never the selling point of the Game. What remains is the story which can in some way be interpreted as an attack to the fanbase (yes its that bad and the leaks were 100% accurate). So I would only suggest this Game to the few people who liked the 1st Game not for the story, but for the Gameplay.

    edit: I'm shocked and disgusted that Naughty Dog and Sony managed to pay this Game up to the rating of a Zelda Breath of the Wild. Shame on you, shame on the industry and corrupt press, Im actually speechless and disappointed.

    Naughty Dog just nailed it again by making the most visually stunning and immersive game for the playstation. Its hard to believe a 7 year old console still has the power to run such beautiful graphics with state of the earth gameplay. Easily the Game of the Year for me.

    TLOU2 is an absolute train wreck of SJW meets too high expectations for me. I am in shock that this is the game that naughty dog thought fans wanted.

    Either that, or (more likely) naughty dog does not care what fans want. They used all of us who loved TLOU by taking a platform we all loved... and turning it into a nonstop lecture on the evils of white men.

    Oh, how brave.

    This game is being sold.
    I couldn’t play more than 3 hours of it... and I honestly disliked every minute of it. Congratulations on that naughty dog.

    By the way, I thought Control was awesome.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.
