    Complete and utter trash. Yes, they put effort into it, they put millions of dollars into it. But it still somehow managed to be total garbage. I'm convinced that they spent money on fake reviews - I don't think game journalists, of all people, are beyond accepting a deal of "I'll give you the game before it's released, you give it a 10/10, and I'll give you $100,000, just sign this NDA".

The craziness of this story climaxed when 70% of the dev's crew preferred to give up the lifeboat, even facing a prelude of one of the worst economic recessions ever seen. The only triple A-thing of this game is the engine, maybe, and the graphic use of it (oh my god, almost). Druckmann steals every achievementThis game is a dysfunctional disaster.     Great graphics. nuff said, One of the best looking PS4 game.

    Gameplay, its the same with minor improvement from the original game. And after you play it for 20 hours, it become boring and tedious. AI still dumb

    Story, well its revenge story, bad one that is. Compared to the original game, this one feels unlike the unique "human" side of the post apocalyptic story the original game had. And this game even try to drag the playtime to agonizing hours of playing character you don't know and probably don't care at all. All i want is the dynamic relationship between elie and joel which -fortunately- i still can enjoy through the flashback scenes.

    Overall, i feel disappointed, i wish the leak aren't true, i refuse to beliefe it from the bottom from my heart. They throw away what i love from the first game and give me cringy coming of age revenge story. Mediocre naughty dog, mediocre.

    Gameplay 3/10 (nothing new, same old thing, generic stealth mechanic)
    Graphics 9/10 (One of the most beautiful PS4 game ever)
    Story 3/10 (This score for the flashback scenes)
    Replay value 1/10 (Play it once means you done with the game, hell you dont even need to buy the game to enjoy the story)

    This game is a huge let down.. I found myself pushing through it just to finish it. There is nothing here to keep you hooked and you don’t feel attached to the game like you would if you play the first one. I played the first game through 4 times and still play the multiplayer. I will never play Part 2 again and I am upset that they profited off me buying it.

Why give the game a 1 out of 10, while the game is great! It looks stunning, combat is great and responsive, I love the way you get extra skills and unlock more branches as you go by finding books and exploring the map is just plain fun. The only thing I dislike is your follower standing in the way sometimes. I think I’ve played around 6 hours now. 90% of reviews were made without even playing the game. People are just too stupid to get their own opinion about it, so they board the easy hype train and write a negative review without playing it at all. Well, play it yourself to find out if you like it or not. Don’t just negatively review something you haven’t even laid your hands on yet!… Expand

    Playing this game was a complete torture. It was so painful, that I truly started to became more humble in life. The Last Of Us 2 was so bad that stopping the game was a blessing, and relief. And YES the graphics was extremely beautiful, but the storyline trashiness completely over shadows. it. A zero score isn't enough to describe how bad this game is.     The Good:
    -Graphics are awesome
    -Dog you can pet -A lot of accessibility options for people that are blind for example. -Gameplay is alright. The Bad: -The story completely drags the experience down as a whole.     The Bad:
    -The story completely drags the experience down as a whole. The new characters that are introduced don't really have or give us any reasons as to why we should care about them the same way we cared about the previous game's characters. It tries to pull off this extremely serious tone but it does it so much it reaches a point where it becomes the most hilariously absurd thing i've ever witnessed with a friend. If you're in for a great story, you are better off elsewhere as it is simultaneously unsatisfying and unrewarding.
    -The game really isn't that challenging or throws punches at you. It always feels like you're being lead by the game, instead of having the player adapt to the game's difficulty itself. There's literally a option to "Skip Puzzles"

    The Ugly:
    -The gameplay while it's alright, the maps are huge as hell, which means it takes a lot of time to really clear out an area. This can be boring if you just can't get into the game, or in my case, aren't laughing with a friend at how hilarious the prone system is.

    -The prone mechanic is broken as can be. It takes away all the challenge of stealth and reached a point to were i would fire literal loud GUNS at people and yet they still couldn't find me. Incredible.

    Its very clear Naughty Dog put a lot of effort into this game, there's no doubt about that. The way they've been going about it though in terms of arguing about it with the people online is...really bad. There's some hints of a good game buried in here somewhere, Maybe if the gameplay improved since the previous one, or if some of the story elements were changed. It's not the worst game ever, but it's certainly not good.

    5/10. A Shallow experience, that yields unrewarding results and an ending that leaves an outcome nobody really is going to like....at all.    … Expand

    I was not able to sleep yesterday...I wasted ₹4000 on a really really bad game. The game's visuals and gameplay is outstanding but the story makes me go mad. I didn't know any spoilers about the game. Excited. Hyped. Thank God I got the physical disk. I am going to sell it but I really feel bad for the one buying the disk. I will say that person that the game was TRASH before handing it to him.

    They kill Joel in the first couple hours. The destroy established character development and to rub it in, the game director self inserts himself **** one of the characters. A complete disaster.

    So, even part 1 looks overrated in 2020, but for 2013 it was really good. The only thing that cool in part 2 is graphics and animations. Also cutscenes looks great. But gameplay, main plot is disgusting. I wonder how this game rated by critics almost like rdr2

    The game is great. I'm not a reviewer but wanted to offer my 10 cents into whatever is happening here. The story is bleak, often very harrowing and sometimes hard to go through. I have been loving the small element of exploration too.

    When Joel died I can't say I was expecting it (as naive as I am) to happen so soon. It sets up a great story and playing as Abby too made it more difficult for me to side with anyone. It didn't take me long to realise that there are no real heroes or villains in the game, just life and death. I highly recommend playing this before reading anything that deliberate trollers have to say,. Yeah the game might not be for everyone but there is not a game in the world that deserves the lowest score.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I created an account right after finishing the game just to write a review on this travesty. I have never seen such a massive disconnect between a game's fidelity and its narrative outside of indie games (which generally tend to have great narratives but lack the budget to provide outstanding visuals).

    After waiting for 7 years, the worst has come to pass and Neil Druckmann has killed off yet another series due to his frankly unbelievable retconning of character's personalities; Joel and Tommy in particular feel as if aliens are wearing their skin and masquerading as them, making bone-head decision after bone-head decision.

    Newly introduced characters are about as dry and unlikable as they come, with the exception of Jesse who has some great moments. Dina has the impact of a forgettable, throwaway background NPC. Speaking of forgettable, I wish I could forget about the 10-12 hours I spend playing as the game's main villain, Abby, after she brutally massacres the alien pretending to be the first game's beloved protagonist, Joel, after the alien humanoid saves her life.

    Plot holes aplenty in this adventure, ranging from "mildly infuriating" to "absolutely infuriating, why did I waste time and money I cannot get back on this game?" Whether its Joel and Tommy announcing to a group of armed strangers their true identities, or Ellie finally tracking down Abby yet again after killing hundreds of people who had no direct involvement in Joel's murder - only to shy away from closing the deal because it's "not what Joel would have wanted" (despite claiming herself that Joel would be "halfway to Seattle" if it was her or Tommy that was killed) and letting Abby get away with Lev and two free extra fingers! What a steal!

    Visually, the game is phenomenal. What an immense accomplishment by the environmental artists at Naughty Dog. I urge them to seek employment elsewhere, and escape the sinking ship as fast as possible. Gameplay is dated and boring, but I'll give the game 3 pity points for the amazing scenery.

    So in summary, 3/10! A little something for everyone.    … Expand

    - Did ND really expect players to feel empathy for Abby, who literally comes out of the blue because you killed some random surgeon in the first game and kills our beloved Joel?

    - What's the point of Ellie finally getting her hands on Abby if she just lets her go when vengeance was literally right in her fingertips?

    - Who thought that baiting people with game trailers was a good idea?

    - Was it Druckmann's plan to pander to the LGBT+ community so he could use the "you're just another homophobic/transphobic biggot" card to dismiss any genuine critic of his terrible writing decisions?

    You can't take a well-beloved story, mess around with it as you please and expect people to be happy with it and give you praises. Congratulations Druckmann, you just killed off a great video game series.    … Expand

ND set out in part 2 to force inclusion and alphabet identity politics upon fans of the 1st one. Gamers want to play games they don't care about that bs. Graphics are amazing though ND really lost what made the studio great when Amy and Bruce left. Druckmann and Gross need to be fired asap by Sony. Reviewer's are an even bigger joke, very few of them are unbiased when they're getting early copies and perks from studios. Check out skillups 25 minute review if u want an unbiased perspective of all that's wrong with this game.

    Writing an plot are kindergarten level. Joel saves the new ? Character Abby. Him and his brother then proceed to tell them their names and where they're staying lol.

    The new strong ? character brutally kills Joel then they force u to play as the new ? character for around 10 hours. Don't worry he or she has a fully stocked 24 hr fitness and bigger muscles than any of the males in the game.

    They then force to try to be sympathetic with Abby as u save children/relive good memories of her crazy surgeon father that was wanting to dissect Ellie. I thought the decision to force players to play as the character that kills the most beloved character of the PS4 gen was the dumbest I'd seen, but it gets worse.

    There's a weird sex scene involving Abby and her boyfriend, which didn't need to be shown and afterwards I'm sure most players will be believe it's a man. There's Lev, played by real life trans person, that's trans in the game that kills her own mother lol. This game is all about forced inclusion and they wouldn't dare kill off any of the alphabet characters lol.

    I'll skip a bunch of garbage and get to the end. Ellie tracks down Abby to get revenge for Joel. She finds her/him strung up and instead of killing her let's her down for a boss fight. Abby somehow managed to bite off two of Ellie's fingers. Yeah he or she is like the terminator with a Rottweiler jaw lol. Ellie then has her almost dead, but sees a flashback of Joel and let's her go lmao. So she kills hundreds of people to get revenge, pregnant women, probably kids too and let's the main villain go. ND should have a script at the end that says no trans or lesbian characters or people were killed during the making/playing of this game. ND pulled one of the worst bait and switches in recent entertainment. They'll still a lot of copies the first month, hopefully word of mouth will kill it off. They sold around 20 million of part 1. This will be a standalone game with a patch on ps5, so they're gonna feel the lack of 2 sku sales. GameStop be ready because you're about to be flooded with trade ins of this garbage game    … Expand

    It’s really good. I avoided most of the discussion surrounding the story once it leaked so I could experience it on my own and I have to say, I don’t understand what everyone’s upset about. I’d hate to think that it’s just because the main character is gay, because the amount of negativity is astounding. But at this point that’s all I can think of. The only downside to the game is that, aside from a few new features, the game is functionally identical to the first one, which is great if you enjoy the first one like I do, but still disappointing when compared to the “gameplay footage” shown at E3 a few years ago. Loved the graphics, loved that they kept true to the original mechanics , loved the story in all of its unpredictableness. people are here talking about social justice warriors, i get that.

    End is ridiculous, all for nothing. Kills many people to exact revenge in end but then doesn't because a flashback of her killer father figure playing a guitar suddenly gives her a conscience.

    Awesome game with many great moments, fluid gameplay, a Joy . To many reviews on here bombing it due to them not liking the story. Very undeserved, this is a great game.
    And some parts may upset people but that's life, there are no guarantees. People should be made to prove ownerships of games before being allowed to post reviews

    los personajes y su desarrollo son nulos se resume en que son pseudo esteriotipos de minorias y ya

    en el apartado tecnico y ambiental en relacion al entorno esta bastante decente,dejando de lado en algunas partes las texturas penosas que van negativamente en contraste con lo demas,la jugabilidad aunque la mayor parte este scripteada esta vistosa lo cual le suma y resta

    Je lui mets la moyenne car pour le boulot des devs niveau graphisme animation et tout le reste car sans eux le jeux aurait été mort, par contre le scénario est trop film hollywoodien ND a tuer sa licences alors qu'elle avait un gros potentiel, comme dans le premier opus pas de réel changement niveau gameplay
