Truly pathetic.. first y'all go on with your false advertising.. inserting Joel into scenes wich don't exist or he's model is just swapped out for Jesse's with the same exact **** line... You knew people weren't gonna buy this dog**** if you told them Joel dies at the getgo by playing a bit of golf with that mother****** Abby.
    Yes Joel needed to die for the story to work but he didn't need to die like this.. you guys literally dumbed him down just to serve the plot.. the Joel I knew and loved would never have trusted Abby enough to go back to her mansion and neither Tommy nor Joel would've uttered their names like "hi my name's **** Joel I killed the fireflies we live in a city downhill oh some big guns y'all got there you have ammo?here take mine and shoot me in the goddamn leg".
    And it wasn't just Joel.. Ellie is extremely unlikeable.. alongside with Dina and Jesse.. on Abby's side is the same **** unlikeable characters and even tho I felt ok with Owen's character the pacing and the timing of them flashbacks were so dog**** that by the time we got to them I couldn't care less and was already over the fact that they died and just wanted to get back to Ellie or just **** finish the game..
    Ellie's and Dina's relationship feels as forced as homework felt in the 3rd or 4th grade.. not because they're both females.. swap Dina out for a male character and it still would've been utter garbage...
    I ain't even gonna talk abou the ending cuz that **** made me wanna wash my eyes with **** Griffin acid from the Witcher because that game was actually amazing.. but rn as the metascore stands this **** is better than TW3...
    This game proves that good graphic doesn't make a good game.. I also like how youtubers had to mute certain sections because of copyright.. like you know people are gonna make content so why make the half of it **** copyrighted...
    The only two characters that were decently written were Yara and Lev and none of them **** matter at the end..
    0/10 for this hot **** garbage game.. would've given it a 1/10 if Abby would've **** died or Ellie atleast.. they cant both live we want closure ... And yes I say Ellie because by the end I hated her just as much as I hated Abby and would've had no problem if she died... **** Neil Druckmann and **** Naughty Dog!     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. So much here is good. this is the best looking game on the PS4, probably ever. The use of difficulty settings, etc was done amazing, and the gaming industry needs to apply this to future games. It allows total customization on how you want to experience difficulty, rewards etc, and it's very well done.

    The game makes a huge mistake when you have to play as "Abby", after killing the character you probably love the most as a fan of the series. At times I felt manipulated as a player having to perform forced actions that Abby makes, The "Scripted" action of killing the dog as Ellie, felt very forced, and then introduced a weak story around it. The story felt cheap, poorly written and forced. I was not invested in Abby's character whatsoever, although I will admit she has the best combat scenes in the game.

    The ending was poorly written, and very gut wrenching, and did not make any sense at the end. Narratively speaking it was very bad.

    I give it a 6/10 because graphically its beautiful, plays okay, but gets repetitive.    … Expand

    This is The Last Jedi of video games. It's the Terminator: Dark Fate of video games. This is a story based game first and foremost where the main characters are very important. The game play comes second. So the story is what makes or breaks a game like this. We all fell in love with the story and the characters in the first game, but in The Last Of Us Part 2 you hate the story and the treatment Joel and Ellie gets. Both their characters gets destroyed. Joel and Ellie are totally out of character in this game and doing things that contradicts everything we've learned about them in the first game. The new main character is totally unlikeable and a complete failure.

    The music is good, the graphics are good, the voice acting is good, but it all comes down to the story and that fact is that the story is a complete failure. Naughty Dog has a done a game for themselves and the woke crowd on Twitter. The game is not for the fans of the first game. They took all the things fans loved in the first game and destroyed them and replaced them with a progressive agenda.

    My interest for this game died about 2 hours into the game when there is a key event in the game that will upset the fans. Prepare to get your expectations subverted. After that I was not engaged in the story at all, I didn't care what happened and the attempt to get you more involved in the story backfired totally. For the rest of the game you really are just hunting down people to get revenge and in the end that is also a failure because the ending is not at all what you want as a fan. The developers totally missed the mark on that too.

    DON'T BUY IT! CHECK TWITCH OR YOU TUBE INSTEAD!

    AHH My friends, Naughty dog and Sony just released Art! I remember going to the midnight launch of the first game 7 years ago. Going home and have my world turned outside down. Story with heart, heavy themes, emotion and impact! Its what made me focus on story driven single player games. And these creators stick to there vision creating the story they wanted to tell and for us toAHH My friends, Naughty dog and Sony just released Art! Well, or at the extreme, buy at a discount in a couple of years. the plot is ill-conceived and not interesting, and the ending is simply not logical, even taking into account what the author wanted to say. Almost all locations can be cleaned by shooting opponents if you do not miss to often (passed on an average difficulty level) Closer to the middle of the game there is a feeling that you are watching an uninteresting series and are already ready to quit, but still you want to find out what happened in the end since you already started.

    To co zrobili z Joelem, a i jak poprowadzona została po tym fabuła przekracza ludzkie pojęcie. Chyba pozazdrościli twórcom "gry o tron". Pokazali, że da się zepsuć coś epickiego bardziej jak zrobili to nawet twórcy GoT w 8 sezonie.

    Уровни довольно комплексные, любителям зачищать углы есть где развернуться. По    30+ часов на высокой сложности.

    По поводу сюжета....повествования идет несколькими циклами и полная картина возникает только в самом конце. Есть спорные моменты, но они были и в первой части.
    Я крайне советую самостоятельно ознакомиться с этой игрой (хотя бы по скидке), как минимум ради игрового процесса, это образцовый стелс экшн. Тем более, не стоит пропускать если имеется консоль.    … Expand

Играется очень бодро, проработанность мира действительно поражает, дизайнеры актеры и аниматоры, мое почтение! Я посмотрел много обзоров данной игры после ее прохождения и могу сказать что с большенством из них я не согласен, так как критикуют вообще все гемплей, проработку персанажей и так далее, но это даже близко не так все эти вещи сделаны на самом высоком уровне. Особо порадовала время загрузки игры после смерти ГГ, оно очень короткое и это очень круто, так как в некоторые игры просто нет желания играть из за долгих загрузок. Игра сделана в плане оптимизации очень и очень качественно, но еще бы эт оведь Naughty Dog… Expand

    The Last of Us 2 e não há spoiler ou qualquer coisa que substitua a experiência inacreditável que foi esse jogo. Agora este é o melhor jogo da geração pra mim (antes era TW3). Eu não esperava POR NADA que vi nessa história. E que gameplay 10! Obrigado Naughty Dog.

    The story is awful. If you played the original for the narrative, just go watch a few hours of gameplay from a streamer before deciding to buy this game. Don't waste your money.

I'm shocked at how obsessively it tries to make me sympathize with Abby, seeing her as a victim, while taking so many kills and brutality for granted. But even withAfter all the criticism I read in advance, I wanted to make up my own mind about the game and thought that it can't be that bad. After the end, however, unfortunately only one word describes what I experienced: disappointment. I'm shocked at how obsessively it tries to make me sympathize with Abby, seeing her as a victim, while taking so many kills and brutality for granted. But even with Ellie, there is never an option except death. Why do all the characters have to attack me in key scenes? I just want revenge on Abby and leave countless piles of bodies like it's nothing. I am always the invader and the aggressor. I find the justifications for my actions very disturbing and the permanent twisting of the facts in the question of guilt very troubling. And all this in a game world where humanity is perishing. The graphics, the technology and the storytelling are simply terrific. A really super development team had to implement an unworthy story, whose main character had to compulsively cover all minorities of our current time. Sad.… Expand

    Gráficos: Los gráficos de este juego son lo mas punteros que se ha visto y esto se debe a ser un juego de finales de PS4, si en una PS4 Fat o Slim corre bien, en la PS4 Pro y en PS5 debe ser muchísimo mejor

    Y por ultimo la historia: El juego refleja muy bien el comportamiento del humano en su estado mas primitivo como la guerra, los conflictos ideológicos y religiosos, la venganza, este ultimo trata muy bien como el resentimiento consumen y deshumanizan a Ellie y a Abby al punto de perderlo todo, este juego no es sobre Abby o Ellie, es como su nombre lo dice, es la historia de los últimos de nosotros

There are many games that I have played over the years, and there are only a few that I've disliked to the point of actually getting a refund: this game is one of those few. Imagine if Square-Enix came out with a direct sequel to Final Fantasy VII, and in the first 30 minutes or so, you brutally murder Cloud Strife and he had no way to defend himself all while a party of goons forced Tifa to watch one of her closest friends die. That is what this game has done to Joel. While I will admit the graphics are superb, the story and gameplay, or lack thereof, is terrible. As many have said, this game would've done far better as a movie, and at least with bad movies, it's easier to wash the bad taste away afterwards.… Expand

    Awesome game, next-gen in a nutshell.
    I felt in love with this game, these extra little details, mechanics, gameplay. How you feel wepons, its physics. Of course, it's not a brilliant TLOU 1, but its no worse.

The difference on the talent on the scenario writing (the first one Druckman wrote it, on this one the lead writer was Halley Gross) is pretty obvious and chaotic. The story isn't the best I've ever seen but it's a ballsy move and I respect it for that. This game isn't for everyone, if you have a specific story you wanted out of this game then I suggest you don't play it.     Haber el juego esta muy bien, jugue al 1 me encantó y juge este y me gusto bastante. Entiendo que muchos se quejan por cosas que pasan que no gustan a todo el mundo pero 2 cosas... Tienen que entender que si el juego fuese como quizieran que fuese seria demasiado predecible y no estaria ala altura del primero. Y segundo tienen que ver el juego como que no hay protagonistas ni personajesHaber el juego esta muy bien, jugue al 1 me encantó y juge este y me gusto bastante. Tienen que entender que si el juego fuese como quizieran que fuese seria demasiado predecible y no estaria ala altura del primero. Y segundo tienen que ver el juego como que no hay protagonistas ni personajes principales tienen que ver todo lo que quiere hacer ver nauty dog y hacer reflecionar para mi la historia es arte si te pones a ver como la cuentan, pz la cuentan de una manera que te hacer ver desde diferentes puntos de vista y tienes quw wntender que ninguno es mejor q otro y lo que te hacen reflecionar. El primer juego fue del caso de una niña que es inmune y un contrabandista tiene que llevarla a los luciernagas para conseguir una cura pero ve que tiene que morir para ello y decide salvarla. El segundi es acto y consecuencias de las situaciones que pasaron y se van dando vistas desde varios puntso... Una pasada neserio vean el lado bueno no hay protagonistas todos son personas en un mundo dificil que hacen actos que tienen consecuencias y esta muy jien contado.

    Jugabilidad mejor que el primero

    Awesome game. It met all my expectations. The gameplay has become higher compared to the first part. Improved graphics, the atmosphere of the post-Apocalypse is also better worked out. For the characters, you can still worry and love them.

In it, the entire plot is not going according to the player's plan and it is shocking and disgusting. In technical terms, the game is not surprising, because something like this is expected from a team like naughty dog. But this game is focused on the plot and there are big problems with it. The plot is incredibly stupid, illogical and goes against the player's plan - it is shocking and disgusting. And when Abby begins to fight with the giant infected in the hospital it is believed that the team of writers is sitting on heavy drugs and mixing them writes the script for the game.     Les zones ouvertes sont grandes, les décors sont oufs et mis en scène avec brio mais on oublie rarement qu’on est dans un jeu couloir.

    Graphiquement, c’est une tuerie, le travail sur les textures, les lumières, le réalisme et les animations est bluffant et prouvera qu’on pouvait faire de très belles choses sur la ps4.

    Au final, malgré les points forts, j’ai purement détesté ce jeu qui est pour moi une hérésie et vient gâcher tout le génie du premier. Après je comprends que certains ai adoré, à défaut d’être un bon jeu ça reste une expérience vidéo ludique rare et très travaillée, sans concession et faite avec le cœur.     I feel so dumb pre-ordering this game, not worth the full price. I was so disappointed with how ND handled the Abby and her friends in the story , they don't feel like real characters and I was forced to sympathise with these irrelevant characters.

Next comes the completely rotten plot. The murder of Joyle is simply the wretched character of Messrs. (Ally), which changes 4 times per game. Abby so put out the lights. I was disgusted to play for Abby, because this character killed my beloved hero, and I was simply not interested in playing for her. And as for the ending, I’ll say this, “the game of thrones” nervously smokes on the sidelines.

Basing it as a sequel it's not bad, but some of the previous points are thrown out, for example, Joel and his brother's personality not being cautious as the stories they told from the first game, Ellie's personality changed a lot, it's shown that she still has the heart to collect cards but not get PSVita? , etc.

    The story is much more focused on Abby forcing people to like her rather than Ellie or Joel which was loved from the previous game. Abby's character didn't get much depth and didn't even hesitate to kill Joel even after being was saved by the Miller brothers when she got separated from her group and being overwhelmed by the infected.

    The story and it's graphics are the only thing that hold this game together, but the story failed to live up from its predecessor. The gameplay is already generic since the first game and the weapon customization is not that deep.

    All in all it's not a bad game if the first game didn't exist.    … Expand

    BUT!! the idea of shoving a horrible political correct story in player's arse just for political correction sake is definitely needed to be terminated, even not just for gaming industry.

    Almost all of the plot driving points are just stupid, long time survivors Joel and Tommy are just lost all the cautiousness, lead to Joel's death, Killing spree machine Abby just let a girl who is apparently closed to Joel go,and the ending which everybody hated.

    And the so call meaning of the story is butchered so hard, killing is a big part of LoUS, it is in the game mechanic let alone story. People get reward by killing especially in this sequel which we dealing human much more than the original, it is Apocalypse after all. You want to talk about circle of hatred, that is fine, put in the content, shows in emotions, alter some of actions. Not just consistent killing each other with cold blood and all of sudden spare some lives just for haunting them later at last second. They are just not what people will do in that situation.

    All in all, garbage story telling and script, have so much potential with changing ideas of integrated LGBT element in games among gamers but failed miserably, and hated it even more. 0/0    … Expand

    The rating is for the visuals, sounds and the gameplay. The first one was one of my all time favourite game. I expected the story to be so much better after the first one.

    The game is roughly divided in 4 parts, intro, Ellie, Abby, ending. In the intro and ending the 2 characters take turns in part of the story, but most of it is Ellie. In between you have a big chunk of gameplay as one character divided into 3 days each.

    When I got about halfway into the story and the timeline reset to day 1 and the perspective changed to Abby, I got a sinking feeling. Which became worse when I opened the menu and saw the skill trees and craftables. I realised I would be playing as Abby for the next big chunk of the story.

    I had no positive connection with her or any of her friends other than the intro in which she killed Joel. She killed off one of the important characters of the first game and now I had to play as this character without any further context (which does come some chapters later through a flashback). Though it was fairly predictable and I didn't care for it.

    If that wasn't bad enough, this game's characters seems to be written around a social politics checklist.
    - Gay people, check
    - People of colour, check
    - Transgender people, check
    - Manly women, check
    - Kill off almost all of the men, check

    It's fine to have these in a story, but not as a characters main defining feature. Most of the characters are bland and have barely any development throughout the game.

    Ellie's flashbacks showed glimpses of what the game should have been.

    While I could relate so much with the first game, I felt nothing in this game's big "emotional" events. I didn't care much when any of the characters died and the ending was very dissatisfying.    … Expand

    If you're looking for a game like this, but done right, consider playing Metal Gear Solid 2 if you haven't already.

Ellie pushed Joel off so hard about him not allowing his daughter to die. Also, you can complete the game by crawling on the ground and only if npc that are alerted of your position then they will not target you. Also ellie ends up with 8/10 fingers and alone.… Expand

    Story: 0/10 This game is nothing like we promised.That recipe landed it the game of the year back then on the PS3 and then again on the PS4 when it was released as a remastered version which I also bought. I had two TLOU1 copies total spanning two systems. That was just how good it was.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
