    It’s an absolutely great game, if you haven’t played the first and didn’t love the characters that the first had created. The plot holes and the spit in the face of fans is just too much not to go ahead and write a review begging you not to waste your time, I’ve just finished the game and I couldn’t be more and angry and more upset and what I just went through. I’ve not enjoyed the last 8It’s an absolutely great game, if you haven’t played the first and didn’t love the characters that the first had created. The plot holes and the spit in the face of fans is just too much not to go ahead and write a review begging you not to waste your time, I’ve just finished the game and I couldn’t be more and angry and more upset and what I just went through. I’ve not enjoyed the last 8 hours of gameplay at all and it’s infuriated me to see such betrayal of the fans and to just disregard the story previous and how fans might feel during the 2nd half of the game. 5/5 if you haven’t played the first 1/5 if you have.… Expand

After playing around 17hours so far, I can honestly say that this is a brilliant game. I can admit that other than Ellie, I haven’t really felt for the characters in this title like I did in the first. Even the bad guys made me pity them in the first game. But that does not mean that there is nothing that keeps you emotionally attached, far from it.
    All in all, a stupendous game that falls short of the brilliance of its predecessor by a hairs width.    … Expand

    Naughty Dog is sadly gone now. People don't make these kinds of decisions overnight, it was 7 years in the making and knowing this story. Yeah unfortunately we'll have to find our gaming fix elsewhere.

On my first assumption it delivered in spades, I hated every single character including ellie. Joel was the only person I identified with and I won't spoil what they do to him. My second assumption however fell flat at my feet. It maintains all of the immersion killing flaws of the first game,(Poor Enemy AI, stealh detection) as well as the gameplay that made the first game feel like a grind. (prepare to spend half of Last of us 2 crawling around, throwing bricks at walls ). The animations are quite good but after after a while you begin to see through the illusion of a seemingly dynamic action system and into the reality of a very nice canned animations system that triggers the same regardless of different approaches and conditions that should mutate them. i.e. jumping on a horse without anyone else already on it will trigger the same animation as when your partner is waiting in the saddle. Due to the momentum and carelessness of the animation your character would almost certainly knock the other character off the horse IRL. Once again this is of course pretty standard for a modern game but my point is that LOU2 is not the revolutionary game that LOU1 was. All in all, I could have done without LOU2. It only served to tarnished the sentimental appreciation I had for of the first game which is now tarnished by the nauseous bad taste from the second game.    … Expand

    A masterpiece. The story is a hard to swallow pill but reflective and so far extremely captivating. The details are incredible, not to mention the amazing graphics. Give it a go, instead of mindlessly trying to corrupt the review score of this game.

Unfortunately, it is the second half that people were most enraged about and without it, the first half simply does not stand as well on its own. I think as a whole, the story works out to be very grippy, reasonably compelling and as mentioned above, rather smart in its execution when taken as a sum of its parts. It does not match the brilliance of the first game, but then again that's something it never could, and should be approached as such, with a fair chance.

    The gameplay has been improved upon and overall feels really chunky, with great heft and great and conveys the gruesome nature extremely well. It starts to get a little bit tiring eventually, but leaves a lot of room to approach encounters differently, so that might have been down to my choice of doing things. The game does start to feel a little winded by its climax as the formula never really changes that much. Ultimately, it does feel very satisfying to play.

    This is greatly reinforce by the best in class animation, graphics and sound design which honestly make for what I think is the most technically accomplished game of this console generation. Face expressions are now convincingly animated in game, be it in combat or conversations, and they look great. Seattle itself also serves up one shade of beautiful scenery after another and the presentation is impeccable. This is all backed up by excellent sound design which offers lots of customization and an option to enable maximum dynamic range in the sounds (meaning loud sounds are louder and quiet parts quieter, or as they were recorded, with no reduction in any direction) and if you have a quality sound system this game will reward you with a brilliant sound experience.

    Overall, I walked away impressed playing this game. As a huge fan of the first game, I approached the sequel with an open mind and while I understand where some of that criticism comes from, I think a lot of it is simply not justified and is just a jaded response by those who were not happy with the direction ND chose to follow.

The magic of The Last of Us part 1, was that despite this exterior world being like this, Joel and Ellie was not once they grew to like each other. Comparatively, Ellie and Dina's dynamic is nowhere near as positive, uplifting or for that matter, interesting.

    I think the worst part about this whole experience, is that during the various flashback sequences, the game shows us these more likable characters/version of characters, that we grew to love in the first game, before pulling us back into this sad, cold and generic new story.

    This might be the game with the most wasted potential, I have ever witnessed.    … Expand

With enemy that instantly lock onto you after their vegan powered third eye senses you from a mile away while looking in the complete opposite direction. It adds to the suspense and makes the game so challenging that Naughty Dog had to create an entire menu section to allow you to complete the game if you are finding it too hard.

    Not sold? It’s truly a masterpiece, 10/10 and you have a tidal wave of not paid for, completely honest and non-nepotist “critics” that do this for a living!    … Expand

Lou part 1 was probably the greatest story telling game that most of us had ever played with incredible emotional connections to the characters. All that said, I’m extremely disappointed with part 2. Killing off Joel to destroy the patriarchal protagonist that we all loved with this new age juiced up golf pro with a grudge was more than a slap in the face for those of us who truly had strong feelings for his character from the first game. I hope that the negative honest reviews continued to pour in. If the writers of Lou 2 continue to create content for naughty dog then my days of loving and enjoying this company are done. Video games are supposed to be a grand escape from the SJW bs that is constantly and forcefully pounded into every other aspect of our lives on a daily basis. Why wen we have lesbian sex camera cuts off straight away, when we have trance/gay sex we need to watch most of it? Either show both property or cut off both at a similar manner... Saw the leaks, but decided to give the game a shot anyway in hopes the leaks were a mis-characterisation. But man do I regret my dicision.. Within 2 hours they kill off Joel in the worst way possible without earning it whatsoever, by a character know nothing about. And thats just the beginning. I stopped playing after 9 hours. Watched the rest of the plot points on youtube and lets just say I'm glad I stopped playing. If you loved TLOU 1, then ignore this game.… Expand

They killed Joel, made Ellie a character that makes nonsensical choices, not to mention the whole Abbie plot, if that is even a plot.

The first game was a masterpiece, including its DLC story focused on Ellie, and Ive been waiting for a sequel ever since.     I’m giving this the highest possible low score simply because the graphics, gameplay, and main cast performances were all still good. But dear god, the writing. I’m moving forward with the mindset that TLOU 1 is a one and done game.

It had its moments... it had a touch of emotion at the start but the whole thing feeling like a stupid lecture about: violence = bad at the expense of our favorite characters dying was not appreciated. You can tell the critics voted it up based on the idiotic politics of the game not the quality. Garbage game will not live up to the hype that was behind it. Waste of 60 quid in my opinion probably wouldn't have played more than an hour or 2 if i had it for free. Mostly forced myself to go through it.     Graphically it is gorgeous and I believe pushes the PS4 as far as it can probably go. The performance was also decent throughout the game, with very few barely noticeable dips in FPS. There are some bugs in the game, but nothing game-breaking.

    I enjoyed the selection of weapons and modifications that come with said weapons. AI is somewhat better than TLOU but nothing impressive tbh. I suppose we will have to wait another 10-20 years for AI improvements that might make games feel challenging without relying on "do more damage to player"

    The biggest failure for this game is the story itself. It is confusing and extremely painful to watch/play. I am not even referring to the excessive and unnecessary violence that takes place throughout the game without any reason whatsoever.

    I am referring to the fact that you commit all of these violent acts in order to get revenge... And after having murdered enough people to equal the population of a small village, you let the person you went to kill and get "revenge" on... Go.

    Rendering the killing of all those NPC lives meaningless. It makes Tarantino and Michael B movies look amazing in comparison.
    The one thing this game does right is angering the viewer/player by making them watch one of their favorites and arguably one of the most beloved/favored characters in decades, and then follows it by FORCING!

    The player to play as the one who murdered Joel in order to redeem her and or give us some background and understanding why she did it.
    However, at that point, the majority of people are thinking about only one thing. I want to strangle this character. Which they never get to do because she is this amazing new character that we are supposed to feel for and have some sex scenes with. Why the unnecessary and completely pointless sex scene? I don't know...

    Final thoughts. A lot of naive and brainwashed individuals will tell you that angry trolls and fake accounts/bots are the only ones reviewing it. I say to you, read the reviews of TLOU. They were very likely written by the very same people who are now referred too as "Toxic" by the corrupt "critics".

    All the 10/10 reviews were written out of fear of being blacklisted by Sony and or Naughty Dog. You see, review copies and everything else that comes with being a Sony Shill, are all they care about. Not you the customer.

    ND played on our/your emotions, they used Joel on the trailer in a cleverly edited way, which in the game turned out to be Jesse... Covering Ellie's mouth from behind. Except we saw Joel on the trailer. They used that to bait people in and it worked. They, later on, forced all reviewers to never mention Abby or what happens to Joel, because if people knew, they would cancel their preorders.

    This game receives a 3/10 for dishonest marketing during its initial trailer, a terribly written story that tries too hard to be all "revenge bad". Oh, and by the way... I just finished killing 20.000 people to make my point this game was trying to make.    … Expand

I’m only about 5 hours into the game so take it with a grain of salt but I can agree with most of these reviews and am truly baffled by the number from the “critics” giving this game a 95! Honestly, I almost stopped playing after Joel was killed. I almost threw up I was so disgusted with how ND decided to kill off probably the most loved character in gaming history. Truly a slap in the face.

    It’s also questionable, imo, to have such a “woke” storyline. Practically turning off most gamers. I’m not homophobic but I would appreciate if not everything in my life is someone/something trying to push their progressive political views on me.

    If I wanted that **** in my life I would create a Twitter account and join the “woke”, “cancel-culture” crowd of 20-30 year olds with a functioning brain power of 5 year olds.

Para você ser inteligente de fato, precisa estar operando estes 3 pilares em harmonia e de forma saudável. 1- Ícone: É a palavra em si, seja ela escrita ou falada. Sem nada atrelada à ela. Um exemplo: Nutella.

    2- Significado: É tudo aquilo que vem em sua mente com a palavra Nutella. Pode ser um doce muito gostoso. Ou uma geração fraca e chorona.

Usando uma Narrativa. O referencial é a narrativa do jogo. Mas tem um problema aí, o que acontece no jogo não é referencial. Ele é significado. Never played the first part, Joel dying didnt bother me much, and in the end I actualy liked Abby more than Ellie, she had more character and likeability. I also liked how the game tells us that there is no good or evil, its about perspective. But the story seemed a bit pointless, in the end no one gets what they want, nothing was achieved. And the SJW stuff was way too much, it hit the bar when telling us that Levi identifies as a man. Why do such a thing to a 13 year old girl? I mean she is living in a insane tribe and the world ended, who would care. Very few characters I liked aswell, Abby, Owen and Tommy was my favorites, the rest didnt care. The gameplay was very fun, had a blast with it but it got boring very quickly… Expand
