Very disappointed, 1 step forward 10 back, GFX are great, action and stealth are sub-par at best, and wow the story? did they fire the whole writing department?

No way this game is worth all the 10/10 media reviews not going to be trusting them again any time soon.

I enjoyed a single playthrough of the first game, it was short sweet and to the point. This game is not. The story is frustrating, upsetting, and unfullfilling. I found myself turning it off out of frustration more than anything. The Gameplay feels almost tacked on to the story, its ok to be frank, I didn't enjoy most combat sections.

I think seeing their perspective was supposed to make me feel for them but I honestly just spent the second half of the game wanting them dead. The ending felt daft too, like a big waste. Its not a 0 by any means but its not a 10 either. Also yes there is a bit of £representation" in the game but it doesn't really beat you over the head with it, much like the first game didn't (in fact there were a fair few people who didn't even realize it was in the first game).

It doesn't really connect to the first game, the themes of revenge and redemption have been explored in games before and in a much better way. I keep reading that this game is supposedly "brave", but I do not see what's brave about it. There is no real twist, no revelation, no character development...so what is brave about the game?

I have been reading/ watching/ playing zombie, dystopian and post-apocalyptic media for years and this is by far one of the weakest examples I have ever come across.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Huge fan of the first game. Let me start by saying it’s ok to not like this game. The revenge story I can get behind. Even a revenge story where the main character loses everything. What I can’t get behind is a game full of unlikable characters. Killing Joel was a huge moment. Joel is a character loved by all and it brought out so many emotions. The whole entire second part of the game is spent playing as his killer. Did they take this time to make her likable and relatable? No. Did they take this time to add meaningful interactions with the rest of the cast? No. It was hours and hours of bad writing and bad pacing. The most enjoyable moments were when I killed so I could see the little cut scene where Abby died. The end was wack. Ellie throws away her whole family to not get revenge. Why did she do this? Because she had a vision of Joel on the porch playing guitar. This game was dumb and had terrible writing. The first half was so good. It just sucks that the second half was so atrociously bad it made me regret playing the game at all. One of my favorite games of all time is ruined because the sequel was so bad. Congratulations Naughty Dog. You tricked me into buying the most expensive edition and bait and switched out with the sorriest excuse of a story that you could’ve come up with. Rent this game if you have to play it. It’s terrible. Just play the original. That game at least had some heart and soul. Part 2 is just a waste of 20+ hours. Expand

Favourite characters are reduced to one-dimensional hatred driven messes. Most newly introduced characters are equally if not more despised. I found the gun-play, stealth, crafting, and set piece interactions to be very boilerplate and just disengaging on the whole.

The reason I bring this up is because TLOU Part II is, in nearly every aspect, worse than its predecessor. The main protagonists and general characters of the game's story are uninteresting and inferior to those of the original. The narrative is a mess with some segments feeling detached and unnecessary while the moral absolutism of characters' motivations and actions are simply at odds with the themes of revenge the game wishes to paint in shades of grey. The gameplay is largely the same affair from the original with minor superfluous enhancements and less brain-dead "puzzles."

I went in not expecting much, or about something on par with the original, but somehow came away with a newfound sense of disgust and disappointment. Thankfully, I got a full refund at my local game shop as the clerk was sympathetic to my and others' plight.

The Last of Us part 2 is an incredibly beautiful game (graphically), yet it resonates in a vastly different manner to its counterpart with a much bleaker, much grittier, and more violent outlook. Whilst the first game naturally had these elements, it seems to be dialled up by about 10 here and pulls some very heavy punches within the first hour and until the end.

Now this is not a problem in of itself (heavy narratives are perfectly fine), the problem stems from a lack of those brief flickers of hope and happiness we see in a world full of death and despair that were so memorable in the original. And whilst there are some moments that are indeed like that and others that are designed to have the same effect, they are so few and far between in The Last of Us part 2 that the events that transpire before or after tend to sour them.

This is a game where I had to take regular breaks from playing because I became so exhausted and exasperated with what was happening over the course of the game. Narratively, the story is lacklustre, their themes overtly grim and any threads that the previous instalment had to offer are immediately discarded. Characters are seemingly weaker in context, with Ellie no longer being the cocky, smart mouthed teen we loved (which is understandable given the time frame and events that occur but it is still key to her personality), whilst others are practically non-existent and lack any development or interaction. The introduction of new individuals attempts to get us to be sympathetic to them and their reasoning whilst expecting us to forgive and forget (continually showing us Ellie having PTSD flashbacks) what caused this game to transpire in the first place.

The circumstances these characters find themselves in often defy logic and mostly feel like a push to get a rise emotionally without the narrative to back it up, the extent of which will see certain individuals lose all sense of caution and awareness to force them into situations that they would otherwise not find themselves in. Meanwhile, Ellie finally finds some semblance of happiness and a normal life despite her trauma in the end, only to throw it all away by her own choice in a stupid decision that has no pay off and repeats a previous plot point that also went nowhere and lead to more death and unhappiness.

Gameplay wise, there is no further evolution from prior, apart from maybe a few more animations, polish, and ways to traverse the world or in combat. AI seems to be much stupider this time around, with your companions being the most egregious as they block you from trying to get in cover or take a shot which is very confusing given how good it was previously. Meanwhile, the second half of the game where you switch characters had me bored out of my mind and was entirely too long, to which it felt like filler.

Overall, however, I would not say this is a terrible game as others might see it. Thematically it is a Last of Us game; the gameplay is solid and the voice acting, animation, world and environments are amazing. However, it is such a departure from the character themes in the previous instalment that such passion is very understandable. There are elements here that I really enjoyed, however it mostly just left me hollow and emotionless, especially given how it ended.

The "game" doesn't feel like a game at points. Playing the game is a bleak and boring experience, with the game mechanics going practically unchanged from the previous game. The poor gameplay experience really is one of the game's key faults, as games are supposed to be fun and engaging, not glorified walking and stealth sims. The other fault is the story. Although it is not as terrible as others claim in my opinion and the LGBT representation represents a social leap forward for gaming as art, certain specific decisions as to the direction of the story itself are not effective, although understandable as to what they were made. The set up works, but everything else falls to crap after the first half. Maybe I was biased against it, after all, it isn't only a console game, but a Sony product, and due to a few scandals at Sony and its subsidiaries I wouldn't buy a Sony product even if it would be near perfect. Maybe I was biased against it, because I have seen gameplay videos and seen some pretty lazy writing that made the game weaker, and the only kind of action games I enjoy are the ones that come with a good story.

Maybe. But with all the nice graphics and audio, they have spent a lot of money on elements that were important in a lot of games I have played, and those games just didn't age well. They have spent a lot of money on aesthetics that would be surpassed in next-generation, even at lower costs. Yet in the writing, I have seen some cheap tricks. When someone who will at other places enjoy hurting others (and acting like a psycho) just happily playing with dogs to build sympathy that is cheap and bad writing.

Normally honest critics tend to spot such problems, but when they want to be on good terms of powerful publishers, they quickly forget how to spot that. Or they forget their integrity. If they would promise me a rather average game, with the somewhat badly written story and amazing graphics, I would feel satisfied and happy. But as both Sony and crooked reviewers promised a masterpiece it was a disappointment.

Just before I would stop feeling disappointed, there was always some minor or not so minor issue that refreshed this bad feeling. And overall we don't buy or play games to feel disappointed by them.

But as a gamer who enjoys subscription services like Origin Access or XBOX Game Pass that come with many games, I would say if they were honest about it and would promise a mediocre game, it wouldn't be much worse than a random game in the vault.

It wouldn't be much worse than "fan favorite" games like FIFA 2020 from EA Sports. That game is also unpopular for some reasons, but in that cases, EA makes a game for their fans, players and know we want them to spend all the money and even more (from MTX) on having good models of players, venues, etc. and they spend a lot in the graphics department, and we have to accept the not so slightly outdated gameplay.

The Last of Us 2 spent a lot of money on amazing graphics, really. Too bad that players who enjoy the franchise were attached to characters like Joel and mourn their loss. That anger combined with disappointment over the game is pretty loud on the Internet. I couldn't care less for Joel. Sony lost me when they had their rootkit issue, when they mishandled data breaches, when they betrayed the trust of customers repeatedly and acted all entitled about it. So there was no way for me to care about Joel. But it looks like Sony forgot the fact they should make their products for their customers.

Why? Because they knew they can get away with it. People will buy The Last of Us 2, they will buy Playstation 5, and at the end of the PS5 era, they will buy a game that will be twice as bad as The Last of Us 2. In the end, they don't lose customers there, and they will be able to sell a few Bravia TVs to the "brave" leftish "social justice" warriors, whose bravery ends when they aren't protected from negative opinions by their mob mentality and their safe spaces.

it is a game that just represents Sony so perfectly...

I didn't like the story much though. It felt a little bit over at the end. Even for post apocalypse world.

    Where do I even begin?

Okay, first of all, I'll start with the graphics, as they're the least important aspect, I suppose, but I find them largely overhyped. Why? While the game looks fantastic from a distance, the image quality falls apart upon closer inspection. The worst offender is the implementation of film grain. If you're going to make a game that pushes the PS4, that touts PS4 Pro enhancements, and that is supposed to look great on a 4K TV, don't make film grain mandatory. Offer an option to turn it off. We don't buy new technology to play a game that looks like it's running off of a VHS tape. As for the graphics themselves, it's a fine looking game, but not the best I've seen from this generation. Many textures are rather crude. You'll come across many items within the environment that don't even look like they have textures -- they're bland, washed out looking, and muddy, almost looking like they failed to load like in old Unreal Engine 3 games. You'll also notice a lot of pop-in within the environment as you move throughout it. All of that said, the animations within the cinematics are tremendous, lending a realistic feel to the characters even if they're merely video game characters.

As for the game itself, it's the first game improved. You can now go prone in stealth, making encounters more enjoyable. Other than that, though, there's not much that has changed. If you liked the gameplay in the first game, this is that but slightly better.

Now where everything falls apart is the story. I'm not going to get into politics or social commentary, I'll specifically talk about the game. This is very much a story that pretty much ruins the first game. While it has its highs, its lows are incredibly low. Not only does it retcon some things, it ruins a lot of the goodwill that they had built with the first game. I'd say that 65% of the story is outright bad. That doesn't make me happy, either. The first game is one of my favorite games ever. The Last of Us Part II didn't ruin my love for that first game, but it does make me wish it would've been a one & done.

This is my honest impression, as I'm not interested in review bombing. If you come to TLOU merely for gameplay, I'd say maybe it's a 6/10, but I do not; I came mostly for the story, but I was disappointed with the presentation, too, after much was said about how strong that aspect was. I'm unsure why outlets like Digital Foundry found no issue with the low texture quality on many objects. I'm talking PS3 level quality. Overall, it doesn't look like a PS3 game, it does look like a PS4 game, making the low quality textures within the environments, and the heavy use of film grain, all the more jarring.

For me anyway it was the banter between Joe and Eli and it just being a awesome story with amazing characters. The first game has such heart and made it feel truly special. There’s a little of this at times in the last of us part 2 like the flash back at the museum. Otherwise all the TLOUP2 is, is a revenge story. A revenge story with a lot of far left propaganda shoehorned in which is not my idea of a good time. I could care less if someone is gay, LGBTQ or whatever to each their own. Most people could care less who someone screw all that matters is if you are a good person but when politics be it far left or far right are shoehorned into a game they will only destroy half of your Fanbase if you push them as hard as this game does. I will not be buying any more naughty dog games! Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Let me start this off by saying the first part was incredibly overhyped, it had only two highlights: main characters and graphics. The story itself was nothing to write home about (still, better than average), but the relationship development between the characters made it worth experiencing. Gameplay was honestly abysmal for such a highly rated game.

It's pretty much the same thing here, vastly improved, but still very basic gameplay, truly amazing graphics. However, the story-characters situation is reversed, the story itself is very good, but characters are often very sappy, stupid, tendentious and, quite often, boring. Though I admit I liked the universally hated Abby, she's the only one with any real development.

It's hard to convey what I mean by that and keep it short, it's also really not worth it since prolly no one will read it anyway, apart from resident SJWs and fanbois who will downvote it to hell, but I'll try.

I'll focus on the bullet points I brought up previously with a few examples, keeping it light on spoilers, mostly referring to minor details present in the game (which are the main way that they're trying to send THE MESSAGE through).

*So, about a fourth into the game you're playing as Ellie, trekking through a city with Dina, discussing how they're going to own a farm, sheep and so on, even though mere seconds ago they nearly fell into multiple traps, fought LOADS of enemies and they're going through hostile territory. The perfect moment for making future plans and showing THEY'RE ALSO HUMAN.

*Later on, Abbynator teams up with a trans boy, Lev, who journeys to his mother, who rejected him because of her traditional beliefs, to make her accept him being trans. They quarrel, he kills her by accident, his sister comes up to him and tells him it was self-defense. So it's ok to force others to accept that you're trans, sound logic.

*Overall, Abbynator, while being the best character IMO, has some tendentious moments as well. She crushes all the puny men in her way, most of the time they don't have a chance against her. Of course, she also gets crucified by the end of the game, along with her little trans martyr and refuses to fight Ellie. And pulverizes everything with her bare fists, she no need baby man tools.

*Only women are capable of forgiving.

*Apart from Abby's father (who's dead), there's not a single positive white or black male character in the game, all of them turn into **** at one point or another. There are positive males though, so there's that.

*Good uncle Tommy, which always did right by Ellie, at the end forces her to seek revenge. Makes perfect sense, especially in the light of him previously trying to trick her into staying home so she wouldn't go out.

*Two tiny, but STRONG women are going around lifting, by the look of it, 300 pound (or maybe even more) doors all by their lonesome. This is a very minor and gamey detail, but it's just so ridiculous that I couldn't omit it.

That should suffice, the game is chockfull of moments like these, which take away from the experience IMO and could've been done better, especially with the game relying so heavily on it's story.

Also regarding what all the fan bois are raving about, that is Abbynator terminating Joel and her whole story arc, it's hard to sympathize with her knowing Joel's motivations and the way Fireflies received him after going through all his toils in the first game, but she couldn't have known that and is fitting for her character.

With all that said, the plot itself has some weak points as well, like cheap overreliance on romantic and sexual relations between characters and cheap drama.
In one case, extremely cheap, backed by bad writing. I'm thinking of the scene in which Ellie and Dina go to a theater where Dina explains she's shocked with Ellie's immunity, only to reveal few sentences later that she's pregnant. Instant drama. This scene imitates **** movies so hard it's hilarious, it would be acceptable if Dina was established as a drama queen but she's not and it makes no **** sense whatsoever.

And of course, it's far from being original, while the first game was an amalgamation of different stories with some original bits and pieces, this is a straight up old school western, with a clearly biased modern social commentary tacked on.

To sum it all up, good game; average story; basic, linear gameplay that only serves as a bridge between parts of the story; worth experiencing if you've got a PS4 or have a mate with one and a lot of time on his hands (this game is LONG and drags on because of the poor gameplay). They should really be making movies instead of games.

Edit: Oh, and it's excruciatingly boring, combat is fine, has a good feel to it, but stealth has no depth and it's unfortunately the better option most of the time.

The entirety of LOU has 10k reviews... this has 60k in 3 days lol, so I don't put any stock into the internet troll jobs that are trying to tank this game.

This game isn't a masterpiece, let's get that out of the way. It has an innate flaw built into the story in that it is attempting to build empathy and tell the story from both sides of the coin. In essence, Ellie isn't the protagonist, and Abby isn't the antagonist, these are two people born into a brutally violent world. Both are on the warpath, on quests of revenge after having things done to them that entirely destroy their family, and both are unique in they were powerless to stop it from happening. This game is best boiled down to a tale of two people on a quest of acceptance in finding peace with what the world has done to them, and to ultimately find empathy, and the story works incredibly well. My only real complaint with the story isn't the story itself, but rather the amount of time invested into having to play Abby. Literally half the game is from her perspective. I understand the need for symmetry in a story like this, but I would have preferred a longer more Ellie focused approach, 65/35, 70/30 would have been enough to get the point across I feel. The game play mechanics are smooth, polished, and well done, and the horror elements are there like always, specifically in the hotel/hospital sequences with Abby, those were terrifying, and RAT KING!!! HOLY MOLY!! WOW! As for the people whining about gay relationships etc., politics., I'm a Southern Conservative from Texas, registered Republican, and there was nothing in this game that I remotely considered in your face. The game handled it's messaging well, without being overtly in your face about it.

Overall, the game is a solid 25 hours if you move through the story at a decent pace, and one that I greatly enjoyed. It's not perfect though as I've said. The Abby length of play reminded me of Metal Gear Solid: 2, thought not near to that extreme, and I wish we had more time with Ellie. I do admit though, I ended up liking Abby, felt her struggle/pain, and empathized with her the more time I spent with her, so the idea of telling the story from both angles worked well, though I do with it were a bit shorter.

9.0/10, really solid, fun, ambitious as hell game.

there is a reason why people hated the last season of game of thrones, when there is such a build up from the previous seasons you cant fail this hard at the story.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I hope the developers read these comments. As a game developer myself, I always did, even when I disagreed with the comments. This review is for them:
    -The Good/Great:
-Environments/Sound/Physics/Tech Art was the best I have seen in a game. An unbelievable masterpiece. You should all be proud. The Art Director and team deserve a medal.
-The inclusion of diverse characters. Well done. I applaud you. My favorite character was Trans-gendered and it's nice to see.

    The Bad:
-Gameplay. There is a lot to write about here. The gameplay was one of the worst parts of the game. Overall, the level of violence was too much.
-Game Design. This is the same game mechanic as Drake's/The Last of Us/Day's End... For goodness sake let me pick up more than 9 (that's right NINE) bullets. Ridiculous. There are many other ways of ensuring a player can't horde bullets. Lazy.
-Story. There is a lot written about this so I won't' rehash all of this here. The characters weren't true to who they were in the first game. As an example, there is no way Tommy would have pushed Ellie to go find Abby at the end after Ellie had settled down (this was Tommy's whole motivation for creating a community!!). And he certainly wouldn't have said "well I can't go". BS. One example of dozens.
-And my worst gripe: Abby. This was handled so poorly. I absolutely detested playing this character for what she did to Joel... and that was half the game! If you want to understand my score, that is the major part.

Here's the key take-away: PLAYABLE CHARACTERS NEED TO BE LIKEABLE. You need to connect with them on some level and Abby was a dispicable character... DO NOT MAKE 'The Last of Us 3' WITH ABBY AS A PLAYABLE CHARACTER !!!!!!!!!! That will ruin the game. Period.

    Good luck.

Not organic. I imagine the talks at Naughty dog went something like this, " Lets see how progressive a game we can make then turn all the characters upside down make them all anti hero-hero's. That will give the players agency, Right?" Big swing and miss in my opinion, and I don't even mind the progressive nonsense, it just comes off as overt. They got ti right in The Last of us one DLC. That was great. If you want to look to the right way to do these things look at movies like Alien or the game Alien Isolation. They get it right. Or even the new Tomb raider. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. In its own right, TLoU2 is a good, maybe even very good game: beautiful graphics, stunning lightings, very dark (I love dark!), unforgiving, disturbing, a gritty revenge story, ... The game mechanics which worked fine in the previous ones are the same, with a few welcome new ones.

As a stand-alone game, I would have given it an 8 or even 9. But TLoU2 isn't its own game .., but the sequel of one of the, if not THE, best game ever. And as a sequel, IMO it fails to reach the perfection of its predecessor.

As must have been spoiled already everywhere, Joel dies by the end of the intro. In itself, it was a shock, a sad and dark (did I mention I love dark?) surprise. But that doesn't mean it has to be a bad idea. Just like in GoT or the Walking Dead, killing main & beloved characters is an excellent way to bring the player into the story, and is a very powerful triggering factor for the main storyline. Much more than the death of another "close" character which we would just have discovered (Dina, Jesse, even Tommy). Kudos to the writers for the guts to pull such a move!

But courage alone doesn't always pay off. One hour into the game, we are left with only half of what made Part 1 so good: the evolving relationship between Ellie & Joel. And in the next 20 or so hours of play of Part 2, nothing or no one will fill the void left by Joel's removal from the game. We don't care a second about the new character (Dina, Jesse, Yara, Lev, ...) and certainly not Abby, Joel's killer whom we play for almost half the game. I think the only supporting cast member which the game really makes likable is ... Alice. At least that's the only one who's death (afterward) saddened me.

Never do we reach the emotional heights of Part 1, although we sometimes have a glimpse of it in some flashback scenes about ... how Ellie & Joel's relationship soured over the years between 1 and 2 because of Joel's secret (lying to Ellie about what happened in the Fireflies' hospital). And that made me wonder how THAT story would have made a much better Part 2 than what we got. Joel could have been killed (after all, his whole storyline is one of redemption), although much later into the game, even by Abby as a playable character. At least, had we been playing Abby for some ten hours BEFORE the murder, knowing her background, maybe we could have liked her and been torn between her and Joel in a duel that would leave one dead. I understand that the writers wanted us to contemplate both sides of the story, but literally forcing us to play Abby (whom I wanted to see dead from Joel's murder to the finale scene) AFTER she killed Joel didn't work. At least for me ...

Another issue I had was the game's length. It is too long. OK, most of the levels are superb, but in most cases, the pace of the game feels like "go clear that level and come back to base camp to move on with the story", while in Part 1, the story unfolded both within gameplay phases AND cutscenes. Besides, although beautiful, several levels felt too far-fetched, more at home in Tomb Raider (burning village), Uncharted (skyscraper's walkway), or even Resident Evil (looking at you, hospital basement's boss). Every time a character said "it isn't far", I knew some floor will crumble under my feet and throw me into some dark (I love dark, btw) basement just for the sake of lengthening the journey.
I would have loved shorter levels, but more focus on character development and storyline.

To conclude, I would strongly recommend that game as a much better & darker (really, I love that) version of Uncharted or Tomb Raider, to anyone who hasn't played Part 1.
But I would warn Part 1's veterans that they will surely be HUGELY disappointed by this game as a much less well-written sequel to its near-perfect predecessor.

Technically you cant complain about the game art and programming wise, but the story is irredeemable in the way it treats the players expectations, the death of Joel is frankly cheap and disgraceful ending for his character, the violence of his death is the kind of emotive basic garbage taratino would use to hook his audience, the revenge plot is too basic in its abuse of the players sentiment, lesbians are small percentage of the actual game audience, but they make you play out this garbage dull lesbian relationship that seems founded on so little real underlying personality chemistry, i'm just not feeling it, the Asian guy just some seed father garbage spare wheel to their lesbian relationship, the inconsideracy towards characters in this game would only makes sense from the ego of a third wave feminist, they also make you play out the game as abby the character who murdered Joel, so repulsive, this game could not be anymore aggravating in the way its make the characters play out the game, proof if any were needed that a technically amazing game with an unsatisfying ill thought out story is going to be **** no matter the skill deployed elsewhere. Ideally both. But if your gameplay's the usual action-adventure cookie-cutter stuff, and the story absolutely atrocious, the end result isn't going to be any good.

This could be the greatest game ever made, and I'd still despise it because of the crunch development. That's what's p***ing me off the most about this game, the fact that a horrible, abusive practice went into making it and game journos are letting the man responsible get away with it with no consequences because he's hiding behind progressivism and using it as a defense for his actions. I never would've bought this game, it just never appealed to me, but I'll gladly drag it through the mud for normalizing crunch.

The game looks beautiful. The environments, the characters, they look great. The sound and music is fantastic, it really draws you in the moments. The gameplay is largely solid. Very similar to the original. A small is I came across was AI companions moving in your way and pushing you out of hiding. Other than that, the gameplay while solid can get repetitive. My main issue is how the gameplay conflicts with the storytelling.

So where does this game fall apart? The storytelling. Now for a game like this, where the main focus is storytelling, that's a big hurdle to fall down on. This is just a story that didn't need to be told and ultimately lead nowhere. In the first game we grappled with what is right and what is wrong. What would we do for the ones we loved. You struggled with Joel and Ellies growth as characters. This game wrestles with similar issues, but does a much worse job of doing it. It lacks any sort subtlety like the first game and thorws it all in your face. It feels forced. They are so obviously trying to make you feel a certain way that it doesn't feel real. It ultimately feels pointless and you wonder why this even needed to happen?

A lesson to all game developers. When making a sequel for a story based game, ask yourselves why. Will this necessarily expand on the characters and story as a whole in a meaningful way? Is this needed? If the answer is no. Then just leave it be. Just like this series should have been left alone.

The story is great, the acting is top notch and the character development is amazing.

If I had to find some negative aspect, I think the "third act" of the game was a bit rushed and It could have probably been more satisfying if done with a little less rush.

    Certainly a must have.

It is necessary to drive with the sledge rags all these creators and their defenders. Therefore, purely fundamentally put 0 points. The big reason Abby exists is because Joel killed a no name character in the first game. Ellie is stopping the cycle of revenge by not killing Abby? She literally kills hundreds of people while just trying to get to her. It’s far too late for the moral high ground.

The story as a whole feels like a big compilation of progressive inclusion. I get wanting to be inclusive, but it feels like they just had a checklist of people to include and taped some stuff together. If you’re going to do it, try to actually do it well.
