If you are looking for an immersive, gripping story with memorable, deep characters that undergo significant character development which reflects their personality traits. Combining all these aspects together to make them feel real and alive. Well... avoid this game at all costs.

Whereas in the last of us 1, you had all those things. It was the biggest strength and draw for the game.

Characters that felt real, and reacted to their situations as their personality dictates. A constant struggle between survival, and finding joy, a reason to live. It was especially apparent between adults and children. In TLOU2 every character is dead inside already, their bodies just haven't stopped moving yet. They are so flat that you could replace everyone with anything else and the story wouldn't be affected at all. So forgetful, so meaningless the entire way through, and I'm not talking about the "main story arc" everyone is raging about. It's like this the whole damn game.

Even if you completely remove the story, the characters, etc. from the equation the game is still mediocre at best. The combat is sooo boring and clunky just like the first game. it's just expanded on a little in TLOU2 but it plays the same. Also, the incredibly tedious and un-needed push dumpsters/ladders around is still in the game! There is so much useless filler in this game, and not the fun exploration/discovery type like in zelda, witcher, or other similarly open-world exploration games. One of my friends literally dozed off on the couch while exploring some ruined buildings at one point.

The only saving grace of this game is the art direction and the graphical fidelity. The art departments did an incredible job! The world looks truly breathtaking, the animations are incredible, dynamic, and incredibly varied. Have you seen the mud?! It looks SO real when you walk and slide through it.

I really feel for those in the art departments that worked so passionately on this project, only to be associated with all the other downfalls of TLOU2.

So ultimately I give this game a 3.5/10, purely because of how much incredible work the art team did. Without that, I'd give it a 2/10 simply because the game seems stable.

When you make a linear story-driven game more akin to an interactable movie than a game, you better have an incredible story and immersively real characters to make it a successful title.

So before writing this review I wanted to take my time, digest & think about the whole thing. I did not want to rush in and review this in the heat of the moment out of the fear of acting on impulse and giving a biased score. I'm going to try and be as objective as possible, so buckle up for the ride.

Let's start on a positive note:
The game definitely does not deserve anything below a 6/10 or 6.5/10 however bad you may think it is. The improvements over the first game are very noticeable not only graphics-wise but also from a gameplay and audio standpoint.
The graphics are probably the first thing you'll notice when booting the game up. Naughty Dog always delivers top-notch graphics for however long they've been releasing games on Sony's consoles. They are top dogs (pun intended) in the industry along with very few others such as Rockstar when it comes to attention to detail, illumination, effects, droplets of rain on character's skin, the tracks you leave behind in the snow and everything else that makes games visually pornographic.
The gameplay: chef's kiss; the animations are smooth, transitions blend in so seamlessly when you're changing direction, walking, jogging, sprinting, jumping, crawling, shooting, reloading, diving, swimming or swinging. I simply have no words to describe how good the gameplay actually is and the game should be played at least once for this reason alone! it really is THAT good.
The music is also on par with the first game. Gustavo Santaolalla's magic... Nothing less of excellent. The tunes for this game contribute so much to the atmosphere whether you're in a cutscene, in combat or exploring. The gameplay audio, ranging from the sounds of the guns shooting, breaking glass, walking on snow or stepping in puddles to hearing that blood gushing out when you slice someone's neck with the switchblade. The voice actors also did more than an outstanding job.
In short this is a very polished game and you can see that the delays have been put to good use. Trying to find faults from a technical aspect, (not that they don't exist) is, most of the time, almost like trying to find the needle in the haystack.
Something that I noticed that wasn't as perfect was the A.I. The enemies are now so much more intelligent, they try to flank you in numbers, they check their angles and occasionally watch their back to see if someone is sneaking up on them. The only flaw I noticed is the friendly A.I.: they will act like sitting ducks sometimes and sometimes they sprint right into the face of the enemies while they are screaming: "Where did they go?!" and that is a bit immersion breaking... After beating the game on Survivor (hardest difficulty at the point of me writing this) I can truly say that the A.I has improved by a lot, even though there is still way to go.
During my gameplay I did not use Listen Mode as it would, in my eyes, make the game too casual to play. I won't judge/rate this feature.
There are enough infected battles, some new types as well that have their own "special abilities" and all the returning infected have been overhauled and improved upon: Runners are so much more aggressive now, Stalkers are more terrifying than ever etc. Dogs are also a new addition and bring out new ways on how the player decides to approach certain situations.

I would like to delve deeper into some of the things I mentioned but I also have to dedicate some words to what I didn't fully like, the thing that brings this game down to a 7/10 (at least at this point of me writing this review). The goddamn story, yes. You know this moment was coming. Actually not the whole story, but a big chunk of it that would take the score down by so much. If you haven't played the game yet, proceed with caution, some MAJOR SPOILERS be lurking ahead. Here we go:

First off, let me say that Joel dying isn't the problem... It's the way Joel died, the way he went and how we reached that moment was so out-of-character and more than disrespectful towards the protagonist of the first game. People find all sorts of excuses but sorry, I don't buy any of them.
Getting over that tragic moment is all fine and dandy, until about half-way through the game when the game flashbacks after a major cliffhanger. After that you are forced to play as Abby (Joel's killer) who is the daughter of the surgeon that was supposed to operate on Ellie and which Joel killed in the first game. ND tried to shove her ~15 hours long backstory down our throat and make us like/empathize with a character who we despised literally a couple hours in the game. Just no.
The ending is even more underwhelming, after failing to get revenge the first time, after killing hundreds, the death of Joel, other characters & including losing her friends before reaching this point Ellie decides last second not to kill the person who wronged her.

P.S.: The multiplayer i loved in Part 1 won't be out for who knows how long. Big L in my eyes.

True it doesn't feel like absolutely new game but legit successor and continuation of TLOU1. Abby's escape sequence in the first 2 hrs of the game is what we play games for.

The story gets review bombed by the hate parade & that’s unfortunate. There were rumors & hate groups came out in force but ignore that stuff. Living with hate makes you miserable, sucks the energy out of you. This game is super fun & the TLOU universe continues with an outstanding story. I think most people dislike the game because it’s not the game they would have written & it makes them feel angry. I’d argue in this case it’s just good storytelling (trying to avoid spoilers here). It’s not always going to work but I genuinely had my feeling change as the story progressed. Let’s be clear & state that at the end I 100% understood the story. I was emotionally confused which in this case is a good thing IMHO. I wasn’t sure if I was angry or felt complete. Was a bit confused as to who I was angry with. Do I have new friends & family or enemy’s. The story is clear but my feelings were stirred up. The story made me think about many things & look at the characters differently. If you loved Part 1 for the story & the emotions it make you feel this game do that & more. Play the game with an opened mind & you’ll have a fantastic ride. Expand

Not only does this game do that, but the purpose of the story doesn't even have a payoff with the most lackluster and disappointing ending in recent memory. Pointless sequel, identity politics constantly shoved down your throat, overall depressing and gross tone. The flashbacks are probably the only decent part of the game, but even those are rendered pointless due to the outcome of beloved characters.

Not enough to make one of the protagonists a lesbian, but let’s continue to push it further. Make the bar owner a “homophobic” person because he says the establishment is family friendly; force the player to play as a genderless looking character, kill off the best character in the whole franchise (Joel) disrespectfully so...

Huge disappointment of a sequel. Could have been awesome if they’d have kept all the pandering and social justice messaging out of it and simply focused on what made the first so great — a father and daughter relationship, post-apocalyptic survival, tense atmosphere, and so on.

John never pursues revenge because "it's bad". This is TLOU 2. The game tries to be profound when the story is just simplistic revenge, except you don't even exercise said revenge, you let the person who killed Joel and destroyed your hand go away because "revenge is bad". By the media reviews, you would expect this game would have a storytelling comparable to Watchmen's, except you get a script wrote by a kid.

Joel, the dude who mastered the ways of survival of this world, fell for the most stupid and plain trap in history. Joel would never fall for such a trap, they downgraded the past game character's intelligence.

The game doesn't do much to improve the combat of the first, the I.A is plain potatoes and it's clear that Druckmann tried to force his agenda in this game too. Neil is such a narcissist human being that he inserted himself into the game TWICE. He is the character spitting on Joel's corpse and later on he appears as a card with max intelligence as his main stat. As a person who loved the first one and was hoping to see Ellie grow as an individual, I am disappointed.

Just like in the first one, Ellie is accompanied by someone most of the time. Then you play as Senator Armstrong. Then revenge is bad.

People seem to have issues with the story, i however really enjoyed it. Like many others, I despised Abby at first for what she did to Joel. But through playing her, I grew to enjoy her character. To the point where I didn't want Ellie to actually go after her and let it go. Great writing overall. The only real gripes that I have with this game is that the combat could feel clunky at times, especially during boss fights or when hordes of infected rush you. And the AI didn't feel that great, especially friendly AI when you ended up in combat, or when you wanted to silently take down enemies alongside the friendly AI, which is done in more scripted sequences. It literally is like a massive middle finger to anyone who loved and related to Joel and loved the first game. Literally the worst sequel of all time and the WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD WHILE PLAYING A VIDEO GAME!!!

Shame because the graphics are the best ever in a video game (though the amount of film grain is the worse I've ever seen, honestly), some of the best music and sound design ever, and amazing gameplay. My one complaint about the gameplay is the controls/aiming is no where near as good as the first game. There's something off about it that can't even be explained by the framerate being half TLOU:R

But anyways, unless you want to really know how terrible this game is, don't even think about playing it. I NEVER sell games, but for this one I have to even though I bet encounter mode would probably be fun, it's just not worth $60 IMO

The first game had a great story throughout and mediocre gameplay that was kept interesting because of the chemistry between the characters. Part 2 has a poor story with slightly improved gameplay but very little chemistry between characters. Its not 'politcally charged' at all - those criticisms are bizarre to me.
The game, for me, is split in two halves with an epilogue.
The first half is very good. You play as Ellie and she really remains as the only character worth a damn.
The second half's story, however, is a terrible convoluted mess. Flashbacks within flashbacks trying to get you invested in shallow characters you already know the fates of. An 'alternate' tale from the perspective of another - essentially the antagonist but the game purposefully tries to blur the line between antagonist and protagonist - which tries to fill you remorse for glorified random NPC's you killed as Ellie. I didn't give a damn about anything this other story the game tried to tell. It was a painfully boring 12+ hours. If the game continued telling Ellie's story instead of this, it would have been much better.
Eventually the Ellie and the antagonist's stories catch up and we enter the ending sequence/epilogue. The ending is as underwhelming equally as underwhelming, leaving you with a feeling of pointlessness and frustration - if you do manage to feel invested at all.
Its a real shame. It had such promise around the 12 hour mark but instead of developing further it just dwells on events which it tries to force the importance of.
An uninspired, drawn out and irritating story in a story-focussed game makes this not worth a play, especially at full price.

I thought what he did was criminal and cruel and i actually wanted justice against him. This game shows both sides of the story And emphasize on humans tendencies to take sides without even caring about the motives that stimulated the other side. Here you don't just see black and white. There is no villain. You will find out that abby was stimulated by the same motives that stimulated ellie. All the atrocities both did was to avenge or save their loved ones. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. TLOU2 is a near masterpiece but not perfect - technical aspects are a step up from the original, and the plot/story take some gutsy moves, which may or may not pay off (most did but some did not for me, which I explain below). This game requires a deeper study into its story and themes; "revenge bad" only scratches the surfaces of what the game is about.

Gameplay is largely the same as TLOU1 with some noticeable improvements; level design and environmental puzzles are far superior than TLOU1 (no more tedious ladder/pallet finding, or obvious waist-high crates for cover). Human AI is pretty good at the harder difficulty as they will flank you, call for assistance, and use stealth themselves. Infected are largely the same except that bloaters and stalkers are more aggressive (shamblers feel pretty much like bloaters from the first game). The semi-open world is clearly a 2nd iteration of Uncharted: Lost Legacy (the previous ND game to feature a semi-open world); it was definitely fun exploring it, but probably not worth doing it a 2nd time.

Overall I still think TLOU2 is worth a playthrough so that you can form your own opinions. It is quite difficult to critique the game having watched someone else playing it, or reading a plot summary etc. since there are so many details which are easy to miss, including many instances of foreshadowing. Out of 10, I'd probably rate it 7 or 8, definitely not a 0 or 10.

    ==SPOILERS BELOW==

First, it is worth briefly discussing Joel's death. Obviously we hated watching it, but it felt justified: Joel did a lot of shady things and it would eventually come back to bite him. Basically, this is TLOU, not Uncharted. Why would Joel give his name to a bunch of armed strangers? Well, blame Tommy, who revealed both their names to Abby. Obviously Joel is a changed person compared to the first game, but we still see his skepticism (e.g. he wanted to "ride out the storm and get out of your hair", then later asks "what are you all doing out this way?").

Second it is worth discussing Ellie's and Abby's sides and why we play half the game as Joel's killer. Abby's story is "one step ahead" of Ellie's; Ellie seeks a path of revenge, while Abby's story details the consequences of that revenge and how it didn't bring Abby closure (until encountering Yara & Lev). The reason we play as Abby is a bit more than the cliche "two sides of the same coin"; we are additionally asked to see the parallels between both stories and how they intersect each other. I actually dug Abby's story and even though Abby doesn't know Tommy/Ellie are hunting them down until day 3, it was fun to see Abby's side knowing that we already visited and interacted with the same people and locations playing as Ellie. One issue is that I couldn't really care much about Owen and Mel since we know they were killed at the end of day 3. Owen's conversation with Abby in the boat contained some nice foreshadowing regarding Lev but besides that I couldn't care much.

The Santa Barbara chapter annoyed me the most; gameplay-wise, it had the most ludonarrative dissonance, since Ellie is the most upgraded at this point (in terms of max health, weapons/upgrades), yet in the story she is weakened and had been impaled and hung by a Rattler trap. It would've been more interesting to play the Santa Barbara chapter with no weapons, reduced health, and forced to rely on stealth or the Rattlers' clicker hostages (which I didn't realize you could unbind them until my 2nd playthrough).
At this point, Ellie likely went to Santa Barbara not with the main intent of killing Abby, but escaping her months-long PTSD/nightmares and finding closure. Was leaving everything behind to travel 1000+ miles, again, except all alone really the best way to do that? However there's some interesting situational irony here: if Ellie did not go to SB, Abby and Lev would be dead, but Ellie ended up freeing them. Perhaps the game could have ended at the farmhouse with Ellie struggling to cope with PTSD but with Dina at her side, and Abby could have bitten off her fingers during the theater fight. Tommy then arrives with knowledge of Abby's whereabouts, we cut to Ellie contemplating this, and the game ends.

The ordering of flashbacks within the main storylines was interesting and I'm not sure if it paid off for me. Ellie's flashbacks (especially the museum) were brilliant and probably should've been placed at the very beginning (perhaps with the hotel as a tutorial level). The current order made me ask why Ellie would go lengths to exact revenge on a person she had cut ties with, which made it obvious (along with some Ellie/Dina dialogue at the beginning) that Ellie had at least begun to reconcile with Joel.

However there are so many story elements that worked: the portrayal of guilt, forgiveness, how thirst for revenge can destroy a person and their relationships. I think with some changes to the above issues it would have been a 10/10 for me.

It’s not so much the ending of a characters fate that’s disturbing, but the political agenda behind it. Now I get it’s art and it’s a creative freedom of speech, which by all means is allowed. I loved Part One greatest game of the generation! Part 2 same thing everything is top notch. However I can’t stand Abbey I respect her, and her purpose. Along with everyone in her group, but certain encounters made me put the game down, and walk away. I just finished the game this morning. If I were blind to everything Naughty Dog as a company has done up untill this point and solely focused on The Last of Us 2 (TLOU2) game, I’d give the game a 6/10.

[POSITIVE] It’s an okay game. Excellent ground-breaking in-game UI customization, modifications, and difficulty settings. Excellent beautiful environments, great graphics, and slightly better controls than the previous game (wish they would have done more with stealth options, but). And the flashback scenes are by far the absolute best part of the game! And if I’m being honest, I’d prefer if the entire TLOU2 was just those flashbacks.

[NEGATIVE] The story and characters. TLOU2 tries way too hard to be art, so much so, that it sacrifices the elements of morality for it. It tries numerous times to disturb you without ever earning it. Characters a badly built, poorly written and fleshed-out, and most of the time are out of character (e.g., Joel). Ellie and Dina’s dialogue interactions are poorly constructed, often leading to their “love” scenes feeling unbelievable, fake, and forced. The game uses cheap, artificial, manipulative story mechanics, instead of intelligent or thoughtful characterization to garner sympathy for the character of Abby despite her being the textbook literal definition of a mass-murdering sociopath (she doesn’t/can’t feel sympathy or regret, she doesn’t have morals, and she doesn’t have or can maintain loyalty). Finally, the sex scene looks like it was made by someone who has never had sex before or who has never had consensual sex in their life (you know, forget things like foreplay, condoms, or lube. Just bite the pillow and ram that sucker in dry). Never mind the fact that Neil Druckmann inserted himself in the game for self-gravitas.

I said I would have given this game a 6/10. However, Naughty Dog has recently done the following:
    1) Mislead TLOU fans by swapping out models and stories in the trailers for the current in-game models and story.
    2) Mass unwarranted/illegal DMCA take-downs by Muso Unlimited on all media platforms for any person who so much as even dares mention the game allowed before it was released.
    3) Bribing critics for 5-star overly positive review bombings before the game was released (FYI the Xbox and PlayStation store had 5k 5-star “user” ratings before the game was released when it wasn’t possible to do so as a player).
    4) Blackmailing and blacklisting social media companies and media personalities for any unfavorable or negative reviews.
    5) Naughty Dog forcing stores to disallowing cancellations of TLOU2 pre-orders.
    6) Naughty Dog forcing stores to not allowing gamers to return or trade-in TLOU2 game.
    7) Naughty Dog politicizing TLOU2 and pushing specific agendas and pandering to SJW’s.
    8) Sony being outright hypocritical on their censorship standards and what they consider to be X-rated content (FYI – Japanese games that show even slight cleavage or butt crack must have a lens flare or blur, but the sex scene in TLOU2 is 100% okay).
    9) The slough of double-standards.
    10) Publicly ganging-up on and bullying anyone who disagrees with Naughty Dog and TLOU2 and who doesn’t give the game a positive glowing review.
    11) Lastly, using all the same derogatory and defamatory PR tactics that were used for previous media like The Last Jedi. (E.g., if you don’t agree with us and our high and mighty personal view; then you’re obviously a Russian Bot, Troll, Homophobe, Sexist, Etc. Why? Because we aren’t mentally or emotionally mature enough to handle constructive criticisms and feedback without retaliating).

Knowing all of the above, I decided to give the game a final score of 2.5/10. FYI - NO game or movie is ever a 10/10 perfect flawless success with zero mistakes, or a 0/10 complete and absolute failure. Nor should it be. They don’t exist and those kind of ratings are inaccurate and unrealistic. Don’t believe or trust any company or person that gives a 10/10, 5/5, 0/5, or 0/10 score.

The Last of Us 2 is not a satisfying or entertaining story experience or even a story that needed to be told. Especially given how many other movies, shows, games, and books there are that tell the story of revenge and the consequences of revenge better.

I honestly could not be more disappointed in this game; I could understand their decisions early on but to have us play as the last character left that we have an emotional attachment to and then SWITCH halfway through and make us play as the enemy and force her storyline on us to make us feel bad is absurd. You even play as the enemy and hunt Ellie... and if she kills you, you lose the game. The ending is absolutely atrocious too, it's not even a payoff in a sad way... it's just no payoff at all. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.

I also think that the marketing and expectation setting for the game was misleading, now knowing the story. I'm sad that this is the result of 7 years of waiting, not a terrible game, but could have been excellent.

I love TLOU, but Part II just misses the mark. But hey, at least is enjoyable while playing... although that wasn't the reason why the first game was so acclaimed in the first place.

This game is an obvious lgbt/progressivist propanda, really a shame that one of the greatest game was turned into political agenda. Characters ruined, plot doesn't make sense. Really hope Sony will rethink it overall policy. Gameplay, graphics and other stuff however is fantastic, not gonna lie.

    [Spoiler Ahead].

First of all, I didn't had the chance to play the first part because I did not own a PlayStation since PS2. Now that I got one, I played both games. And I kinda don't understand why people are so mad at the game, reviewing the story as week and the characters are poor developed.

I know the game try hard to "humanize" Abby, and the motives that made her search for revenge etc. But for me, the plot itself is just what could happen in the real world. I mean, everyone has their motives and a line of thought that made they try the best they can to achieve an objective. Joel was a "bad man" for a lot of people, as he was good for a lot of people too. But he kinda was selfish doing what he did to save Ellie.

He could die in a lot of ways. I see how bold the game was, not giving him a memorable death, beautiful speeches and cutscenes etc. His death was cruel as the world of TLOU is. As a lot of other characters too.

Anyway, this game is a masterpiece for me. Because it's bold, unpredictable and as close to reality as possible.

Tho as a big fan of The Last of Us universe and just everything that Naughty Dog created i was incredibly excited to see what they have been cooking up with the story and characters. It was easy to believe that these characters that we loved in part 1 were made dumb on purpose and act completly different than you would think if you played the first game 10+ times just to fit the direction of the story.

We lose a character we loved, cuz because the writer suddenly made him a 'dumb old man' that suddenly trust strangers,..etc. and this stuff happens all over the game.

in gameplay, when you are building up Ellie, with skills, weapon upgrades,...etc after 17 hours... you switch characters and you start all the way over again.
It had no gameplay satisfaction to play as Abby. So it could have been more shorter what would improve the overal impression and satisfaction of the game for me.

Brave move, Naughty Dog. This is your masterpiece to date. Well done. Don’t listen to the children that can’t handle the art form or can’t handle that death is a part of life. I will forever be traumatized but I wanted nothing less.

Playing as the person who killed that character off makes me hate it. I get the premise but execution sucks. Games isn't overall fun. It was in the first one, played multiple times, but the this one seemed tedious. I don't want to see both sides, I was enthralled in the Joel and Ellie story then thrown into this, it just sucks. I get there are two sides to the story but don't make me play as the side I don't want to play. Same with God of War Ragnarök, last thing I want to play as is a petulant son who makes the same mistake multiple times. You want me to take a story I loved and ruin it. Just give me a story I love, I don't need to be told I am wrong or that there is another side. I already understand that, if I was Ellie I would have killed the **** Expand

Gameplay - Solid but has not really progressed since the original game released in 2013 and with the added length this become a bit repetitive (7.5/10)

Longevity - The game will take between 20 and 40 hours, this is far too long as a result the game becomes a real slog to get through, unlike the original game which was a perfect length (6/10)

Overall - A visually stunning game that is let down by repetitive gameplay that has not progressed far enough from the original, and a story that insults the original game and characters. (6.6/10)

First off i'm here to tell you i bought the game after all leaks including the ending just to support my local community channel for streaming . Now that i had finish the game i will give you specifics reasons why indeed deserve a 0 and i'm going to compare with other Subvert expectation games and explain what's going on here .

Remember Mgs2 Sons of liberty were the tank mission is playable by Solid Snake. Kojima mislead the audience by pretending the whole journey was from Solid Snake Perspective. It was a marketing stunt. After the First Mission the game changes to Raiden and the script kicks out . What happen here in my perspective is that I let the game flow for what it's before jumping to conclusions. What i got was an incredible 4 wall breaking experience giving context to the rookie character as the protocol for Solid Snake Simulation. Side characters works, the Dialogues are outstanding and you even have the chance to fight alongside the legend solid snake. The character is respected in every single way to the point of being him the one giving the last words until the credits role and of course he lives. The fanbase was still divided but after many years the groundbreaking story is still a substantial point of how to subvert expectation properly.

Now compare this to the last of us 2: Joel an iconic character arm with knowledge and experience in survival for 25 years all the sudden forgot about to survive in an apocalyptic environment and the script which is all over the place butcher the man in less than 20 minutes on screen. 5 as playable character and 15 until he lied death.
The game forced you to play with the killer and the director tried to hard making her character human or feel sympathy with the player. This doesn't work so the player grab hopes that the ending fill this whole by at least complete the goal of the story which was revenge. This is portrayed as ellie hunt every single member of the screw but throw everything away by letting the killer alive into a nihilistic ending. So you have an iconic character death for nothing. You forced the player to accept his presence as flashbacks and send the entire weak script to the sky by thinking the message is more important than character progression and cohesive storytelling layers.

it's a story that don't give you anything . Throw away every feeling you got toward this characters and pretend to deliver a message within all the violence. There is no more be said and no reason to discuss any Agenda or feminist frequency ideologies Druckman loves so much. Instead of been a love letter to the fans it become a tool for divide gamers and send them into a depressing journey without conclusion.

This game deserve a 0 because what it does is nothing more than inflict damage to our society and to the few places humans had to shield themselves from reality. Video games

The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
