    The gameplays feels clunky, as if the designers did not play test before releasing this next installment. It’s a shame that the enemies were not further developed, because the gameplay often feels repetitive.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I'm a huge fan of TLOU and the universe created by NaughtyDog. I've been hype for this release since they announced it in 2016 and was really enjoying the game for the first 6-7 hours or so, playing as Ellie primarily and seeing Joel's death was a great way to justify going to Seattle. After this first honeymoon phase though the game got progressively worse for me. Playing as Abby for such a large portion of the game really killed my urge to play. Seeing her perspective of what Ellie was doing was honestly a pretty good idea by NaughtyDog but I think the pure amount of time spent as her really ruined it for me. By the ending Abby had spared Ellie's life twice and I hardly had an urge to kill her anymore. I didn't personally like how Neil forced his SJW agenda into the game but it wasn't a major negative, just something to bring up. This game probably doesn't deserve a 7 at the end of the day but I just love this franchise so much and the game definitely has it's strengths. When major events happened and with Joel's death specifically I really felt emotions for the characters and for an hour or two after his death I wanted to kill them just as badly as Ellie, these emotions fizzled out as the game progressed. The graphics are obviously good and the pure depth of the world was amazing. I enjoyed knowing I could approach encounters however I wanted. If the entire game could've been as good as the first 1/3 this would be a 10/10 game. If I weren't so biased towards loving this world and franchise this game would be a 5 or 6.… Expand

    Worst history, really the way to do the things it's not the better way, the game Is the best in graphics and phisics, but the history is the fail, everybody hates the way that naughtydog do the game history.

There are many games that I have played over the years, and there are only a few that I've disliked to the point of actually getting a refund: this game is one of those few. Imagine if Square-Enix came out with a direct sequel to Final Fantasy VII, and in the first 30 minutes or so, you brutally murder Cloud Strife and he had no way to defend himself all while a party of goons forced Tifa to watch one of her closest friends die. That is what this game has done to Joel. While I will admit the graphics are superb, the story and gameplay, or lack thereof, is terrible. As many have said, this game would've done far better as a movie, and at least with bad movies, it's easier to wash the bad taste away afterwards.… Expand

    Cagaram a história, jogo lacrador, ferraram com a franquia, vergonhoso naughty dog, DECEPÇÃO Total, o pior não é nem matarem o Joel, é não dar opção pro jogador se vingar e matar a Abby, fracasso... mas graficamente esta bonito, so consertarem os bugs

    I have been waiting for this game since they announced it in 2016, and now it's here, but it's so bad. Naughty dog are known for the awesome storytelling, the 1st game was AMAZING, i have played it many times on PS3, and more on PS4 because of how it made me feel. But the last of us part 2, i don't feel like i want to replay it ever again. i almost stopped playing it halfway, but i keptI have been waiting for this game since they announced it in 2016, and now it's here, but it's so bad. Even the ending didn't make me love the game, not 1 bit. i had high hopes for this game, but i got disappointed. like Kratos said "Keep your expectations low , and you'll never be disappointed."

    This game is amazing! From the voice acting to the animation, gameplay, and story. I can't believe the user review is getting bombed the way it is, it's shameful! If you loved the first one than you will love/hate this game for all the right reasons.

    I avoided myself from all the spoilers. All I knew was people were angry about the story. However, as I played the game I tried to think positively. Even at the early game where some 'big' event happened , I tried to have positive mind and progressed through the story.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. este juego en si esta siendo odiado y aveces siento que hasta de forma injusta, si la muerte de joel fue desagradable por el hecho de que no le hizo honor al personaje y la escena de abby totalmente irrelevante no habia necesidad de poner eso, hay personajes muy planos como jessee o incluso abby, pero tambien se me hace estupido que haya gente que solo lo odie por intentar ser inclusivo ,el juego no es superior a su anterior entrega, pero tampoco creo que haya necesidad de tratarlo como una basura, puede que la historia no sea tan buena, pero el juego si llega a entretenerte, en lo personal es una sensacion rara entre amor y odio, es un juego que yo llegaria a decir que es disfrutable en ciertos puntos, pero no es un juego excelente, ni siquiera bueno solo pasable, yo lo pondria como un juego que decepciono pero no por eso es malo, su gameplay es muy bueno al igual que graficos y soundtrack, pero la historia te deja un sabor agridulce. conclusion

    Yeah I recently played the DLC for part 1, what a shame. It is just a political correct story, play the first one and compare it with this part 2, play it, and don't take only my comment as absolute, but probably most of you are going to agree that it was made only from the idea everyone should be like new society demands, just no.

    Belos gráficos, excelente jogabilidade, mundo semi aberto e história profundo, feito de uma maneira prática e gostosa de se jogar. Com tudo chego a conclusão que The Last of Us part II cumpriu o seu objetivo em ser mais incrível do que o seu antecessor. Posso dizer com toda certeza q é o melhor jogo que eu já joguei na minha vida e olha q eu joguei vários.

    If you liked the first one...you should like this one too. It’s beautiful, polished, and emotional. I don’t really understand the hate on it. Not coming for anyone’s opinion who played the whole way through and didn’t like it...but to those who didn’t even give it a real chance...this low rating isn’t fair. Even if you didn’t like it...it’s not a 3.6. That’s obviously absurd.

Yes the story is slightly disappointing in that Joel is killed before Ellie's eyes turning her in to one crazy **** on a revenge spree. They've turned the violence and gore notch to maximum and what you get is a proper cat and mouse game relying on stealth, stamina and and and a good old brain bashing with a piece of pipe or baseball bat. Sneaking around and taking down the WLF made me feel like Rambo taking out the Russians and I'm only a couple of hours in to the game yet. Can't wait to see how the story develops. I did hate the fact that there was too much LGBTQ in the storyline, about too much for my liking, but aside from that the visuals and graphics are eye candy for the eyes, it is a masterpiece that retains some of the charm from the first game and yet builds on it some more.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. the last of us part II não chegou nem perto das minhas expectativas, o jogo que estava sendo candidato a ser o meu jogo favorito acabou ocupando o top 2. o jogo é simplesmente fenomenal mas deixou um pouco a desejar. vamos começar pelos gráficos, que estão espetaculares por sinal. esse é um dos jogos mais bonitos que eu já joguei, perde em alguns quesitos apenas para red dead redemption 2. a gameplay do jogo evoluiu muito em relação ao primeiro, oq é um ponto extremamente positivo.
    a mecânica de esquivar por mais que falhe algumas vezes é muito boa, deitar no chão e se espremer entre paredes pra fugir de inimigos foi com certeza a melhor coisa que implementaram na gameplay. o arco agora está bem melhor de usar, já que no primeiro jogo eu achava ele uma grande merda. no jogo jogamos com duas personagens e elas tem grandes diferenças entre si, seja em personalidade até habilidades. enquanto Ellie é mais fraca e mais ágil, Abby é mais bruta e habilidosa com ferramentas. o enredo é bom mas com algumas falhas, jogamos com abby na maioria do jogo, oq não é ruim mas não me agradou tanto assim, por mais que ela seja uma personagem incrível.
    os flashbacks de ambas são bem marcantes e ajudam muito no desenvolvimento da história. falando em desenvolvimento, todos os personagens presentes são muito bem desenvolvidos, com destaque pra Abby, que é uma personagem 100% nova e muito bem desenvolvida. voltando a falar do enredo, a morte precosse de Joel acabou me agradando de certa forma, mas não gostei da forma que aconteceu. o jogo me deixou tenso, triste, puto e feliz diversas vezes e a muito tempo eu não sinto isso jogando alguma coisa. nos momentos tensos os sustos acabavam sendo praserosos e me davam ainda mais vontade de avançar. os meus combates foram bem rápidos em várias situações, joguei no modo moderado. os cenários são muito bem feitos e é extremamente divertido explora-los.
    agora podemos encontrar cofres e devemos explorar o cenário pra descobrir a senha, bem no estilo silent hill.
    nas cartas encontradas podemos entender varias coisas que aconteceram com os corpos e infectados encontrados e até entender como eles morreram. o jogo evoluiu muito em relação ao primeiro e eu gostei de jogar bem mais esse doq o anterior, por mais que eu ache a história do primeiro bem mais interessante. a gameplay não é cansativa e eu me diverti muito nas minhas 21 horas de gameplay.

The story is ready again, and it leaves us with many strange feelings, but it's all about the player's impartiality, so you decide which villain you like best. The game is worthy of a GOTY.     This games is very, very very good. The history is amazing. gameplay is wonderfull. The grafics and ambiences(RTS ON) is equal a movie. the best seller from games. You don't like? You play? ..So congrats for your opinion. For case the justice, this game would like received among 7.0 ou 7.6. But many notes below 4.0, typically to harm without any foundation

Then you would play as a character that killed shepard. its a **** story telling who on earth though it would be a great idea.

This game has awful characters with no personalities. Just bland shells acting like humans. The story also misleads the consumer and makes you play as Joel’s killer for half the game. Yeah. Joel you know the character that made the last of us what it is? He dies. In the first. 2 hours. Abby the killer who you play as, is an annoying character who we are trying to feel sympathy for but doesn’t work. And her friends that you kill as Ellie are so unlike able and void of personalities that you don’t mind killing them. And the worst part of all is that at the end of the game you let Abby free as Ellie! What?! Most unsatisfying story I’ve ever seen. When the game ended I deleted it off of my ps4. Many people loved the first one, and all too often, a sequel just shows that fans and developers aren't on the same page. That's okay. The gameplay loop is great, the graphics are great and the level design is fantastic. The AI is simply good, the story is serviceable, and some of the characterizations of some of the people provide an empathetic connection.

    However, this game makes me sick. The overly gratuitous sex scene is one thing that I may not have appreciated, but then, at times, relentless over the top goreplay is too much. Now that I've gone all the way through, I will simply say that this was a torture porn and gore show. The story, while not bad, does nothing to deserve the torture and outright evil things you do as Abby.

    I like the first game, wouldn't call myself a fan, but it was fine enough. This game tried to play the "art" game, but it's really just a case of somebody getting off on what should be an AO rating.    … Expand

    Firstly, the fact that they killed of Joel is actually fine with me. I get it, create drama, a new story line, seek revenge, etc.
    But the way they did it is absolutely disgusting. It's as if this Joel is a totally different character from the first game. They turned him absolutely moronic, made him do a mistake he'd never do and let him die off in an ambush without giving him any honor.
    Are you seriously trying to tell me that Joel, someone with more than 25+ year of experience in that post apocalyptic world, suddenly starts trusting random strangers who appeared on his patrol and walks straight up into their camp without checking whether it's actually save for him or not?
    Like wtf? That's the total opposite of what he did in the very first game when he was on the way to bring Ellie to the fireflies and had his first encounter with raiders.
    Why would someone who is normally always cautious, someone who has killed and made A LOT of enemies suddenly turn so gullible and stupid? Running into a camp full of uniform wearing people. I **** can't.

    Secondly, why the **** does it seem like as if there are only women in the game?
    First off, I have nothing against women, i think it's actually pretty cool that you find female enemies and Ellie is obviously awesome and dear to everyone's heart who played the first game.
    But aren't you taking it a bit too **** far?
    Disregarding the fact that Naughty Dog killed off their male main protagonist,
    they turned Ellie into a lesbian and made her have a female partner. Sure, it's fine, nothing original.
    It's not like any other goddamn game or movie with a female main protagonist tried to please the LGBT/feminist community by turning everything lesbian or by showing how women dont need men, etc.
    The main antagonist, Abby is also a woman. You know what? It's cool. Rarely seen and i'm fine with it.
    But why the **** are like 80% of the enemy human NPCs women? Aren't you making it too **** obvious who you are trying to please? I wouldn't be **** surprised to zoom in on infected and find a pair of boobs on every goddamn bloater.
    Underrepresenting females is not good, so you chose to overrepresent them? wtf?
    The reason this ****s me off is because the way youdo it is way too different from the first game. What, you are trying to tell me that most men suddenly died and only females are left in this world? It doesn't even make **** sense. But I guess Joel killed of most of the male goons in the first game huh.

    ellie mostly kills all abby teammates (who only sees abby killing joel with GOLF) in very cruel way and in the end she gets joel flashback and then she didn't kill abby WOW, when ellie kills dozens of people and abby teammates why she didn't get that flashback before
    and there is lot more plot holes and rush kills

    Gameplay is great, it's a smoother more dynamic version of the first game which was lauded as basically a perfect game. The story and writing are amazing. Are you happy watching events unfold? No, it's a zombie apocalypse it's not going to be a happy ending for anyone. But are the characters nuanced and compelling? Absolutely. Play this game and then judge it

    To start with the positives from this game: the graphics are beautiful and the soundtracks are spot on. That's it, short and sweet. Now on to the negatives.

    The gameplay has not been expanded upon at all from the original. In fact, in some instances I would argue that it actually feels clunkier than the original to play. My toaster could probably generate AI that functions more intelligently and realistically than some of the enemies in TLU2. It gets VERY repetitive and this would kill any joy you would get from potentially replaying the game.

    Not that you would want to replay the game, if you were a fan of the original. The story is horrendous. None of the characters in this game have any likeable or redeemable qualities whatsoever. Joel and Ellie's personalities are gone, they are literally husks of their former selves. Joel's treatment in particular is awful. His intelligent, cautious survivor's mentality is completely gone and he now openly trusts everyone and doesn't question anything during his painfully short stint in the game. After Joel's treatment, playing as the utterly unlikable Abby for a massive chunk of the game leaves a very bitter taste in the mouth.

    Not only do the characters suck, the plot is appallingly bad and full of holes. It feels like very little attention has been paid to detail or to continuity from the original game. It feels like no love has been put into the story whatsoever and that the developers thought that this could be patched over with ridiculously brutal, over the top violence and "woke" social stances.

    And I think this is what frustrates me the most about this game. it feels as though this game hasn't been developed for entertainment, but to force an agenda into your face under the guise of a video game. Sony have openly criticised (wrongly) games for being overly sexualised and have taken steps to actively censor them, but having a trans-lady being pegged in graphic detail for 2 minutes in 4k HD is apparently fine and to point out this blatant hypocrisy makes one a transphobe.

    With all of the leaks and the controversy surrounding this game prior to launch, the false use of DMCA to silence any negative or critical opinion that was expressed online and the exorbitant critic reviews, it feels as though the industry has slapped you in the face with a piece of garbage and told you that you have to enjoy it. The people who have been complicit in this farce should be absolutely ashamed of themselves as they clearly have no integrity whatsoever.

    If you didn't play the original or if you weren't a fan of the original, this game is probably a 3-4 as it could scrape those numbers with AAA graphics and average gameplay. If you took any enjoyment at all from the original game, this is a solid 0 and you should save your money and stay well clear of it!    … Expand

I finished the game and I am really speechless of how I found it strong and sad at the same time, to the people who thought the ending was bad, I totally understood what the game wanted to happen, revenge in the end didn't lead to anything for Ellie, she lost her sanity , friends, family, and even fingers. Without a doubt he didn't get over the first one, but I believe he got very close, while the first one talks about love and how he can rescue someone from rock bottom, the second is about hatred and how he can throw you into that well. Besides, the gameplay is great, the setting is incredible, the plot may not please the most nostalgic or “conservative” but it was a good experience and I believe it deserves an 8/10 score… Expand
