    Naughty Dog was not interested in creating another masterpiece. They were interested in nothing more than jamming their political views down your throat and it affected every facet of this game. The gameplay was never the main focal point in The Last of Us, but The Last of Us II is a step down.     Great game! A real emotional rollercoaster. Great storytelling that helps the player see from multiple perspectives. The gameplay itself is very smooth & polished. The graphics are insanely realistic & help immerse you in the game.

    Astonishing Visuals and Audios and an amazing game-play however when it comes to the story and the characters they are poorly build in my opinion they ruined a potentially the game of the generation by the bad story and characters also i will not forget the lesbian **** that made the story much worse.
    in short words they simply **** the game that we have been waiting for 7 damn years.

    Overall it's not that bad of a game. A truly average one with progressive political bias, good graphics and good locations. A acceptable game, but a mock as the continuation of the first game. I would give a better rating if they changed the name of the characters and sold it as anything else but tlou.

    What a sad turn this franchise got. I don't see more future for it anymore.

    I don't know how a group of people can go from crafting an amazing story and characters in the first game and flush it all down the drain with the second game.     The last of us 2 is probably one of the most immersive games I’ve ever had a chance to get my hands on on a ps4. The story is very complex and very well written and it makes you understand why the people do what they do in This game.     Cons : Story is so bad that calling it bad is a understatement .
    Whatever left wing political agenda you can think of, it's inserted in there in your face.
    The game forgets about all the important things from part 1 eg - Ellie is the vaccine plot.
    You don't get a proper closure, just emptiness and a lot of WTFs.
    No payoff, characters inside make decisions that can make your head spin.
    All expectations are subverted ( some might think this is a pro, not me).

    Mediocre : Sounds and music can be better. ( part 1 does it a bit better )
    Combat is better but not as good as recent AAA titles.
    Repetitive game-play.

    Closing:
    I am severely disappointed even-tho i really try to like it.
    I am just a normal person who wish to enjoy games as an escape from reality.
    I will vote with my wallet carefully next time.
    I wish I could give it a 2 or 3 in the score but the story just kills every single cell in me to give it anything positive.

    Honestly The Last Of Us Part II is a great game, the story, the graphics, physics, gameplay and gunplay etc ... They are great !!

    Great game and so intense. Reminded me of watching The Revenant, loved every minute of watching it but i wouldn't watch it again. Don't unerstand 0s. 0s should be reserved for games that are fundemtally broken. if you didn't enjoy the story but the gamepaly and graphics are amazing then a 5 is about right

It does have wonderfull graphics, an amazing story, a solid gameplay and it makes you think. Also it have a decent dificult campaing with faster and intelingent enemies that'll make you pay for being stupid. The only negative point is the camera too close that makes you take damage just because you can't see the enemy behind quick enough to avoid them. Don't be fooled for negative post about the game. Joel died and Ellie is gay. Now deal with it. People dies everyday and don't pretend the world have no lesbian engagement.     We lose a character we loved, cuz because the writer suddenly made him a 'dumb old man' that suddenly trust strangers,..etc. and this stuff happens all over the game.

    in gameplay, when you are building up Ellie, with skills, weapon upgrades,...etc after 17 hours... you switch characters and you start all the way over again.
    It had no gameplay satisfaction to play as Abby. So it could have been more shorter what would improve the overal impression and satisfaction of the game for me.    … Expand

    First of all The Last of Us 1 was one of the best Games I have ever played, it had a small Cast, the development was sooo superb, everything fit to Story, the Story developed amazingly, THE STORY MADE SENSE!

    + Graphics are great, it feels like they really put all their time to make this Game feel alive, well done!

    hoooly crap, I am not a Man who is against LGBTQ+ I even support it, I don't even mind that it's in the game, so please, pleaaaaseeeee don't even think about that even 90% of the Negative Reviews is about it!
    So 4 years later after Joels rampage on the Fireflies, you can see Ellie, damn did I miss her, you get the feeling there is now a normality in the game.
    Ellie has a Girlfriend, a Home, you see a nice Community and then BOOOOOM
    you change to ABBY and you finally see what this HOT GARBAGE OF A GAME IS!
    A REVENGE GAME! *claps*
    so you have this Author in your Team who maybe thought, he is the new Platon, Shakespeare or what the **** he even thought!
    So Abby in all her anger has one mission, but we as the Viewer are not allowed to know, so one FORCED COINCEDENCE of another she got what she was looking for! JOEL!
    so she kills Joel with a GOLF CLUB IN THE HEAD OVER AND OVER AGAIN (*cough* NEGAN from the Walking Dead *cough*) not like we have seen this **** before Neil Druckmann!
    and then DEUS EX MACHINA Ellie is there and gets forced to look how Bodybuilder Girl gives Joel the finishing blow. are you for real man?
    Look I am sure at least 96% of the Players also played The Last of Us part I
    we all know Joel isn't a saint it was his Karma, but just how it built, didn't feel right, it was FORCED!
    so now all of the sudden the Group around Abby decided to let Ellie and Tommy stay alive!
    so now the revenge arc of Ellie begins!
    let's rush this fast....
    Ellie on her mission to find Abby just finds Nora and some more and kills them since no one wants to tell her where Abby is
    Tommy is also on his Carnage kills and maaaaaybe he should have been died like 9-10 times till the end of the game, but hey he is alive, everything for the Plot.
    the love triangle felt so forced damn it, you have Dina she seems nice but not relevant after all, she now loves Ellie, Ellie loves her back, then you have Jesse who isn't that important tbh he is just there even when he died it didn't bother anyone! Jesse just made Dina pregannt, so later when Abby wants to kill her, Ellie just said "she is pregnant" she stops thanks to Lev! damn Author you must feel so smart!
    to be honest with you it is also false advertisement you play most of the time ABBY, god I end it here...
    I am sure The Last of Us Part II will get a lot of sales since it is the most hyped game of this generation , but its definitely not the hot **** everyone expected, give it a try and find out yourself
    you get a Revenge, then Revenge and then at the end again a Revenge arc
    after a timeskip you are again playing as Ellie, you want to find Abby, after Tommy came to your house saying he knows where she is, then after some post-traumatic nightmares FOR THE PLAYERS later...
    we have our boat fight, Ellie wins lets Abby who is not a Bodybuilder anymore, she is thin! she got rescued by Ellie, but was already starved-
    Ellie just let her alive after a memory with Joel.

    if anyone read this sorry for my bad english, and making it complicated to read but it really was this complicated no one really cares kinda game, everything they did right on the first part felt just worthless in the second part of the game and you have all these timeskips like it would make anything or anyone more likeable or would give any more relevance!

    But the story just doesn't make sense. The intro and the ending of this game are just so unsatisfying und bad/pathetic.

    Do not buy it but rather watch some gameplays and look for yourself.

    I have never been more disappointed with a game. As a member of the LGBT community, and a big fan of the first game, I was very excited to see more inclusion in a mainstream game. Unfortunately this game felt like all the lgbt aspects felt forced, and like it was only used to pander to the community. I'm in love with Ellies story along with her partner's. I wouldn't say that killing off Jole early on was a bad idea, the current story between Ellie and her partner and how they interact kinda reminds me of
    them anyway in the first game. The story direction now has me wondering what will happen next and I'm fully into it, the suspense is pretty high. The gamplay is definitely 100 percent improved and it has more of an rpg exploration element too which is awesome. It feels like your living In the world with them moment by moment not knowing what's around the corner. For me it's a masterpiece and currently I don't see why all the reviews here are bad. Why? Because Joel died? It's not the end it just opened up a whole new story line. With or without Joel it doesn't matter to me. Joel was for the first game now Ellie has her time to shine. Bring It on. A combination of good easy-to-learn gameplay controls, solid storytelling and beautiful graphics make for an enjoyable time. I can understand why many users have given negative feedback on the game, especially fans of Part 1. The main character from the original TLOU, Joel, who people fell in love with in the first installment gets killed off within the first few hours of Part 2. However, his death sets up the story line, changing it from a story of survival to a potential rampage for revenge for Ellie and her crew. Naughty Dog's decision to kill Joel isn't their way of writing him out of the storyline. It's their way of turning him into something bigger - a source of strength and courage the protagonists lean on while tackling the grueling and dangerous mission to seek revenge. Yes, the game starts off a bit slow. However, it speeds up quickly while allowing you ample time and opportunities to familiarize yourself with the game controls. Like all games, TLOU2 isn't without its own flaws. The combat sequences, especially when taking on more than one Infected can be improved with indicators of which direction enemies are attacking from. Another minor annoyance were some of the tasks required to unlocking doors, passageways, etc. Some of the "puzzles" were beyond frustrating to figure out, forcing me to put down the game for a bit to cool off before going back in - if Naughty Dog's intention was to irritate gamers by doing this, they succeeded with some of the required tasks. All in all, this game is worth the price of admission. It gives you the wheel to drive through an excellent movie-quality storyline, one that will grip you through intense moments all the way through the end. Part 1 was about love, Part 2's theme is revenge. Naughty Dog took a big risk in killing Joel, a bold move the audience should appreciate. They didn't play it safe, they made it clear everyone is fair game which adds another suspenseful layer. Accept this and you'll have a great time.… Expand

    The hypocrisy and attack on anyone who does not like this game is absolutely astonishing. I have never in my life seen a game so protected by the media or by social media giants who ban people for their opinions. This is absolute madness.

    I give credit to the games graphics and sound, they are nice yes, but everything else is horrible. Firstly they kill Joel like a dog at the beginning of the game and then the rest of the game is a fight between a lesbian and a woman who looks like a man hulk. There is no progression on the story or the virus or the world around them. It's like a soap opera where people are cheating on each other, sleeping with each other and killing people from the opposite faction.

    Firstly why is Ellie an anorexic? how does she go toe to toe with a giant body builder? WTF? she takes punches to the face that would knock out any person, this is just so unrealistic. Why did they make Ellie look ugly in the later years? she looks like an activist and does nothing else worthwhile in the game. The ending is trash! I under stand if the game was going for an empire strikes back vibe, but it just sucked completely. It makes me never want to play another game by naughty dog again!

    "A bigot sandwich!" really? Everyone already accepts LGBTQ community, but it seems that the devs want to place these characters on a giant soap box just to declare their sexual orientation to the world wtf enough already. El juego me sorprendió la verdad no esperaba nada después de ver las filtraciones pero decidí jugarlo y no juzgarlo antes de probarlo, su apartado gráfico es muy sorprendente el diseño de cada entorno está muy bien hecho y logrado,su jugabilidad es excelente y cómoda,nos muestran un mundo más realista y sangriento que se acerca mucho a cómo sería el mundo en un estado post apocalíptico donde las personas harían cualquier cosa por sobrevivir, ahora pasando a la historia desde mi punto de vista comparado con la del 1er juego está un poco por debajo pero no es una mala historia cuesta aceptar el giro de 360 que dio la historia pero nos intenta explicar que aveces nuestras acciones traen consecuencias ,la muerte de Joel apesar de que no murió como un héroe nos enseña que no todos pueden morir de forma memorable,el final me disgusto un poco por todo lo que sufrió y perdió ellie para llegar hasta su objetivo para cumplir su venganza y que al final haya dejado vivir a abby no me gusto mucho, me hubiera gustado que nos hubieran dado la opción de elegir si dejarla vivir o no.

Decepcionante o que a ND fez com a dupla Joel e Ellie nesse game, foi tipo jogar todo o desenvolvimento dos dois no primeiro jogo no lixo, tudo isso para focar em personagens pouquíssimos carismáticos. A Abbie é uma protagonista extremamente forçada e pouco carismática, fora que caiu de paraquedas na sequência que nem mesmo numa cena pós-crédito do primeiro jogo ela apareceu.
    7 anos de desenvolvimento para entregarem um jogo lotado de bugs e com uma trama cheia de furos e forçadas de barra,o Joel entrar numa casa cheia de desconhecidos e sair revelando seu nome verdadeiro para todo mundo foi de uma incoerência absurda, e nem falo que incoerente com as atitudes do personagem no primeiro game, no próprio TLoU Part 2 o Joel pede para a Ellie usar uma máscara em determinado momento só para ninguém descobrir que ela é a garota imune,como esse cara extremamente sagaz virou uma batata anos depois ao ponto de confiar numa galeria desconhecida?
    A gameplay do jogo recebeu algumas melhorias, o que não é mais que obrigação, porém nada que já não tenham os visto em um Metal Gear Solid V da vida, até mesmo a novidade dos cães farejando a Ellie não encheu meus olhos. Os gráficos do game estão belos ( isso na versão Pro do console, não sei como ficou nas demais) e as faces dos personagens principais ficaram excelentes, porém tudo isso é muito pouco se levar em conta o tempo de espera e hype criado em cima desse jogo.
    E com muito pesar que eu admito que a ND já não é mais a mesma, me preocupa o futuro dos jogos do estúdio já que além de TLoU 2 ser um game decepcionante, muitos talentos do estúdio estão migrando para outras desenvolvedoras. I don't think the gamers will come back at DLC, and I don't know how much they're getting for 100 points, but I don't know how much they get!

    Personal rating 8.9/10 due that trailers from in game context look way better. Objective rating 10/10 because the graphics are probably one of the best graphics out on PS4. Nothing more to say here. The game looks just fantastic

    Gameplay: 9/10
    Nothing objective or personal here. The gameplay is similar to the previous title. You either like it or you hate it. It has some major improvements in the fighting animations and the intelligence of the NPCs. Your partner is not running around anymore and is actually trying to hide too. The enemies are now more intelligent but still far away from being a threat to you. They turnaround now while on patrol but when they have spotted you the searching is for you is still way to gameish but that's criticizing on a high scale. The zombies on the other hand are now way more threatening. In total a deserved 9/10.

    Atmosphere: 10/10
    Sound + graphics are already pretty awesome. On top of that the talking with the characters are creating a feeling, that those persons really exist and not just run around until they interact in the next cutscene. Small animations like wishing water out of the face after entering a waterfall or swimming are just an example for the smaller details. Another one would be the face expressions when fighting enemies (not cutscene – real game play). The chapters with zombies in it are separated into wide and small areas. In wide areas you are in control. Most likely easy kills. In smaller areas you feel like not wanting to make any noise. If so then good luck fighting and armada. Many things to explore besides main quest. There is just one big bad thing about the atmosphere and that's the story at some points.

    Personal score: 0/10. The advertisements are just fake news. It looks like Joel is promised to be a big role in the sequel in terms of being alive and he dies within the first 15% of the game. I totally disliked it. I am forced to play the murderer which just looks unrealistic as **** A female head with a body of a man who has been in the gym for years. I do know that females and men can be that strong but not in a post apocalyptic world. You are forced to build up your stamina and not hulk smash skulls in my opinion and yes the female is killing the majority with neck or skull breaks. Even though I disliked Joel's death, the chase is an interesting concept. The sad thing is that the following cutscenes are just bad written. If you find someone from the murderers group then you are loosing the control of the situation because of bad story writing and you are forced to kill those people in a bad way. You have a gun you lose control and it ends in a knife kind of battle which the bad people lose. That was Ellis bad side.
    Abbys story is for me not interesting at all so straight 0/10 for me. First ending would have been a 6/10 in total. That's when you and abby have the first fight which you lose and she let you alive. You life a ok life on a farm with Dina and her child. Forced ending -5/10. Literally even worse than Black Ops 3 story in my opinion. You are forced to chase Abby again. Before that you lose Tommy because he dislikes you for saying you wont chase Abby again and you lose Dina for breaking your words and going after Abby. You find her and you get the last boss battle which you win with 2 fingers bitten off. You let her go for some reason and are left with no friends and not being able to play guitar anymore.
    Objective score 3/10. Joels death is justified for the story's plot. It also makes somewhat of sense that this can happen. Killing hundreds of people and than being hurt by killing someone in a cutscene doesn't make sense at all. Same with the ending. 7/10 still for first ending were the cutsences better then it could have been a 9/10. With the forced ending it's a 3/10

    Total score 7.5 if every aspect has the same weight. For me the story is the most important aspect in a story driven adventure game. That's why I rate it with a 6/10. Without the ending 2 it could have been a 8/10 – it ruins the game.    … Expand

    I can't score this game below a 2 because it is absolutely beautiful and the game play itself is fun and at times rewarding. With that said the game (in my opinion) faults hard on its story and treatment of characters I've fallen in love with in the first game. To me this game feels more like someone's odd fanfiction instead of a sequal to one of the best games ever made.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
