    Such great potential, wasted for a bad story. This game is disrespectful to the fans of TLOU and the franchise. They could have made an incredible game if they considered what the fans would enjoy but instead it seems that the writers just wanted to be edgy and political. I hope naughty dog doesn't make this mistake again or it will ruin them.

    I'm not a bolt I know it is difficult using Abby for half of the end , but it does complete the story ,For me , i enjoy the story and game play and in fact this is the first game im writing a review for because of the bias reviews thats been spreading

    I love some parts of the game.. but some characters and Half of the game was Terrible writen.. i hated the new characters and the story about them.. some scenes are so bad directed also.. The endding is so bad.. is not a terrible game but i understand why people hate it .. there are things that make people hate most of the game..

    It is sad that the game took this idea for the direction..

After finishing this game and having some time to think about it, I overall liked this game, but I’m very disappointed with the direction they went with. I hesitatingly read the leaks when they came out thinking it would save me 70 bucks but in the end I just had to play it to make my own opinion. Everything with Joel and Ellie was really really great, especially the opening of the game. Even though Joel’s death was horrific and some perceive it to be disrespectful, I’m back and forth on where I stand on that, it was a good motivation for Ellie and even though Joel was absent his presence was always felt. Tommy was really great here too. The side characters were ok, I liked Jesse and Dinah and lev. But the reason I’m giving the game a 6 is because of the Abby portion of the game. It was so goddamn boring, having to play through those 3 days again as a character that is very unlikable. I understand that the hame was trying to make you see her perspective but I just felt nothing. Those 10+ hours really dragged and by that point I was bored with the repetitive combat situations. But then after that part of the game when you get back to Ellie was really good. The ending scene with Joel was very emotional and the last scene was really sad. I kind of understand why Ellie let Abby go but at the same time I really wanted revenge and kill her. Overall, I enjoyed the Ellie parts of the game but I really didn’t like the Abby hours. Also the graphics and gameplay were amazing, even though combat got a little repetitive towards the end.… Expand

    A truly emotional game that is only getting hate because of the sexuality of character, remember large chunks of bad reviews were in the first couple hours of release.the game takes 15-25 hours to complete, clearly they didn’t play the game.

    Esse jogo é incrível, historia incrível,, gráficos perfeitos,,,jogabilidade perfeita,,,, goty 2020..... só tem duas formas de dar nota vermelha pra essa obra prima......1º caixista bravo pq não vai jogar TLOU2 e sim Bleeding Edge kkkkkkk e 2º machista..

    obs: .tb tem aquelas pessoas que deram nota vermelha sem ao menos ter zerado essa obra prima,, pra essa pessoas só lamento.

    This game is just, wahouuu I don't have words. I am not annoying, I am surprised but I love the story line, the landscape, all the audiovisuel's part is incredible ! Congratulations to the developers, etc because this game is like gold and diamond : exceptional! Please test the first part and if you like characters and the story, play to the last pf us part 2 !

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I have completed the game cover to cover and I can honestly say this is a masterpiece of the highest degree. I was lucky enough to dodge any spoilers before launch and every dark twist and turn throughout the story left me begging for more. The last of us part two keeps the core elements of the origional game and blows them to new extremes. Every morsel of this game is awe inspiring, from the story telling to the magnificent level design, there is little to nothing that I can complain about. My only criticism of the ENTIRE game is that the finale was deliberately left very open for potential sequels(which I would die for). Unlike the first title where the characters were in a place which just kept you guessing. Don't listen to the negative reviews which critique the fact that two of the main characters are lesbian. This aspect was already revealed in the first game and it is presented in a respectful and honestly amazing way which doesn't draw anything from the integrity of the story telling. I believe it really deepens the connection you feel towards these characters and it just creates more depth to them which is never a bad thing. Ellie is still the exact same character that you learn to know and love from the origional game, even more so infact. In the end, buy the game and play it for yourself. Have an open mind and watch the **** out stalkers. 10/10… Expand

    Ruined what the first game had going. Characters are dry and 2 dimensional. Joel died to early like they were just trying to get rid of him for plot convenience if you could call that a plot. I'm just gonna pretend ellie was sacrificed for the cure in the first game and that be the end of it.

    Excellent game, I loved the story and its ending, amazing characters. Beautiful world filled with violence and mesmerizing graphics, views and soundtrack. Gameplay is incredible. I highly recommend it. Ignore the haters

    imagine not even playing the game and giving the game bad reviews. The story is supposed to be different from the first game. If it was the same then what would be the point? I'm just as mad as the next person from what happened, but keep an open mind and you'll see why this game is fantastic.

    Incredibly story with some of the most dynamic characters I've ever played. I have never felt such raw emotion from a video game. All the snowflakes looking for a remake of the first game will be disappointed

    If you love the first one, you will like this - however it's a 1 and done and I won't replay it as the story has no replay ability.

    I loved the first one and was going into this unsure - the gameplay is fun, the graphics are good and the sound is good.

    The story is not good - I ended up skipping cut scenes as the story didn't make sense and chapter 6/7 dragged on far too much.

This sheds light on the painful story and the growth and the breaking of Ellie both mentally and physically to a point where you feel broken yourself. The game concludes with an incredible power to decide to finally stop that process of mental and physical warfare going on to finally let go and be free of everything Ellie has been holding onto. Ellie lost everything because of this and is completely broken but no longer has that burden that was weighing her down. Life isnt always perfect and it sure isnt a picnic in this zombie apocalypse mental amd physical story telling master piece.… Expand

    Sem dúvidas é um dos melhores jogos dessa geração, juntamente com o Red Dead Redemption 2. São dois jogos fantásticos que com certeza vai marcar gerações.

    Everyone is giving this game so much crap for seemingly no logical reason at all, even if you don't agree with the way the story went it's an incredibly fantastic game non the less and it doesnt deserve nearly half the flak people give it, I loved the first game and this game is an amazing part 2

    No game does it quite like The Last of Us. Part 2 felt like a throwback to the game I enjoyed so much in part 1 with all the updates that a new game a new story bring. I can say I enjoyed this more than any story-driven game to come out since The Last of Us part 1.

The graphics and overall atmosphere is where this game truly shines; visually, it's stunning. You'll want to keep playing just for the opportunity to marvel at the scenery. There's very few games that can compete with the authentic world ND has created.I do not believe this game deserves a review in the red. You'll want to keep playing just for the opportunity to marvel at the scenery. There's very few games that can compete with the authentic world ND has created. The story was a massive disappointment. If you loved Ellie's witty comments and playful demeanor then this game will shock you with the utterly dull and boring person Ellie has become, and to make matters even worse, Dina, Ellie's girlfriend, is quite possibly the worst character ND has ever created. She adds nothing of value outside of being Ellie's love interest, which I don't even buy. There's no chemistry between the two and seem to only be together because the writers decided they would be. Even with the undeserved fate of Joel...I could have forgiven the story to an extent if they would have given us the old ellie and an equally entertaining female companion as her love interest, but no, you're left with two mediocre characters to listen to for half the game. Abby is an odd character to add to the cast. She seems to have found a stash of dianabol and hgh that she's hogging all to herself (Not cool) Putting aside the fact that abby is anatomically built like an NFL athlete and no one questions it. She simply adds to the ever-growing cast of poorly written characters this game has to offer, however her and Lev make one of the only interesting duos throughout the entire game so I suppose that worth something. Out of all the characters in the game after Joel's exit, Owen and Tommy are the only truly likeable characters, but their parts in the game are brief. The magic that made the first game a narrative masterpiece is long-gone. You are given a couple of flashbacks that for a few fleeting moments make you actually feel something...feel the magic that captivated you in the first offering, but it does little to change your feelings for the game we were actually given, outside of letting your imagination run wild with what could have been. Overall this game has all the potential in the world, but it is sunk on the back of a mediocre story, poorly written characters, and expectations coming off the first game. I dont think the game is awful and I believe it's definitely worth a playthrough for everyone, but not for the price tag of $60. This game will leave you disappointed, therefore I'd suggest waiting until a sale then give it a try and enjoy the phenomenal graphics, atmosphere, and visuals. I'd give the game a solid 75/100. Its definitely not great and definitely not a masterpiece that the biased critics are awarding it. You won't crave to see what happens the next cutscene like the first, but you'll enjoy the gameplay if you can look past the story's shortcomings.… Expand

    C'est l'un des meilleurs jeu auquel j'ai joué, les musiques sont magnifiques (même si j'aurais préféré les entendre plus souvent), le gameplay et le scénar sont vraiment bon (même si y'a beaucoup trop de longueur négative à mon gout). j'ai rarement vu un jeu aussi humains et j'aime beaucoup la morale du jeu et comment le scénar est construit, on a pas le temps de pleurer la mort d'unC'est l'un des meilleurs jeu auquel j'ai joué, les musiques sont magnifiques (même si j'aurais préféré les entendre plus souvent), le gameplay et le scénar sont vraiment bon (même si y'a beaucoup trop de longueur négative à mon gout). j'ai rarement vu un jeu aussi humains et j'aime beaucoup la morale du jeu et comment le scénar est construit, on a pas le temps de pleurer la mort d'un personnage, Abby est vraiment attachante (à ma grande surprise). Até então nenhuma outra produtora teve culhões para criar uma história tão impactante, trabalhando com maestria as emoções dos jogadores como na trama construída em The Last of Us (tanto no part 1 como no part 2). A inovação trazida pela Naughty Dog é gigantescas. Muitos precisam entender que a INOVAÇÂO é um novo divisor de águas... (Spoiler!!!) O jogo, trabalha a opção sexual dos personagens de forma genuína, assim como a construção de sua trama, não é um jogo para pessoas pequenas (e não me refiro a menores de 18, isto já esta em sua classificação e não tem o que discutir), é um jogo para adultos de mentes abertas ou que pelo menos estão dispostos a se permitirem experienciar um jogo (obra prima), onde o mesmo não se limita a criação de seus personagem "invencíveis" como em outros jogos, este jogo, não se baseia nisso. Em como um "herói" consegue ultrapassar gerações e gerações e continuar sendo "amado". Pelo contrário, ele mostra gente como a gente, pessoas lutando como você e eu poderíamos lutar em um mundo pós apocalíptico, histórias que beiram a perfeição de uma realidade caótica, onde heróis são coisas do passado e a luta pela sobrevivência, juntamente com sua gama complexa de objetivos comuns enraizados de medo, frustração, insegurança, vingança, esperança, amor etc. Sentimentos humanos, apenas humanos, cada qual lutando pelo que acredita, porem cegos para o caus comum que os rodeiam (muito real no mundo "normal" e triplamente aguçado em um apocalipse). Enfim, este jogo não é sobre simplesmente um ou dois personagens que nos cativa ou nos trás sentimentos de raiva, mas uma cadeia infinitas de outros personagens que poderão surgir e escrever sua história em The Last Of Us. Ou seja, este jogo, é uma verdadeira aula de como sentimos nossas emoções, como lidamos com nosso amor e ao ver isto tirado de nós, como lidamos com a frustração, a raiva o ódio, a vingança e a empatia pelo próximo. Isto é a vida inspirando a arte!!! Obrigado Naughty Dog!!! obrigado The Last Of Us 1 e 2 por está experiencia!!! Gráficos excelentes, os melhores que já vi com excessão de uns pequenos defeitinhos ali no início com a neve que cai dos pinheiros e as vezes a textura. Nada que atrapalhe o jogo em si. Jogo excelentíssimo em Jogabilidade e quesitos técnicos. Quanto a história, é um jogo cinemático que se propõe a ser revolucionário, impactante, emocionante e imprevisível. Ele consegue ser, porém realmente há muitas perdas e mortes desnecessárias como a do Jesse. Há um final aberto, o que repetido do primeiro jogo, funcionou lá, mas nesse não achei a melhor ferramenta a ser usado num fechamento de uma história, queremos ver mais. Porém, quanto a resolução da Abby e Ellie, parabéns Naughty Dog e Neil Druckmann, eu não podia pensar numa resolução melhor do que essa. Agora por favor, queria uma continuação pequena. Um making Of queria ver onde a Abby e Lev vão, e se Ellie encontra Dina. Façam como fizeram da Ellie depois do primeiro jogo ,Não precisa ser grande. 1 hora Já seria excelente, nem que seja somente cutscene.… Expand

Além disso, Ellie perdeu tudo e mesmo assim não teve sua vingança, e ainda perdeu 2 dedos que a impossibilita de tocar violão, algo que o próprio Joel a ensinou.     Gráficos lindos, imersão absurda, jogabilidade dinâmica que so me fez querer jogar mais e mais e cenas tocantes que foram excepcionais. Jogo se equipara ao primeiro, nao é melhor por ser diferente e exatamente por isso tão pouco é pior.    Jogo maravilhoso em todos os aspectos. The game centers on topics like these and really nails home the violent acts you have to commit and the person you have to be to achieve your goals (to the point that I tried to avoid all the conflict I could). It's not a black and white story, but very complex with human nature at the forefront. The writing here is some of the best in the industry, followed by the stunning visuals, immersive gameplay and sound design. There is a sense of weight to every aspect really helping to build the world. The game is quite the controversy surrounding the LGBTQ and I honestly never had a problem with what little there is in it. Despite what people are saying, it's not about these topics, nor does it shove them down the players throat. These pre existing characters are supposed to be seen as vulnerable everyday people just trying to survive in a world that they don't fully understand. It never asks the player to take a stance, but rather asks the player to see them as they are, people trying to live. The real problem is people not being able to do this. This is a world that truly feels alive, along with the characters in it. Sometimes the decision that key characters make can be confusing, but it's a human story and people do questionable things. Like the story, humans are complicated. The ending is lacking some context and I wish they had summed it up better, but it left me with tears in my eyes and a sense of wonder. I can't wait to see where the series goes next, depending on if a sequel is warranted based on the hit it's currently taking from the gaming community. While I may not agree with it, I can understand why some people may not be happy with the directions taken here. They were very bold and certainly subverted expectations, a common thing in media nowadays, but unlike so many other, I felt it worked here. I wish they had gone a different route with the story, and yes the story had it's issues, I fully expected either Joel or Ellie to die in this one so Joel being killed wasn't a huge shock, but the biggest thing for me is how and when they chose to kill Joel, and the bits where they try to make you feel bad for Abby but I do understand what they are doing. Beautiful and haunting environments and exquisite music combined with the amazing story that I have come to expect from Naughty Dog makes this experience both enthralling and heartbreaking.     This game is gorgeous, so beautiful and I can't wait to see this tech on the ps5. The combat is, just the last of us part 1. Yeah it's good but I seen it all before. The story is good, but only between hours 5 and 14. After that it's not that great and the ending is absolutely horrible. Good job sony. This game shouldn't have existed.

The gameplay is very good, you can feel the power of the weapons, the force of your blows, then you have the graphics, excellent graphics, much better than TLoU 1. The story is fantastic, showing new characters, new points of view. Now let's talk about people who hate this game. We all love the first game in the series, this game is also a masterpiece. One of the problems that caused the large amount of negative reviews from users (not counting Joel's death) is that some of the people who played the game, not actually felt Abby's story. If in Abby`s storytelling you forget everything Ellie went through and focus on Abby, you will love the game. I love this game as it is, I wanted to teach us something besides revenge. "The hero of someone`s story... Can be the villain on someone else`s." I really recommend buying this game if you love adventure and action, you will have all that and more… Expand

    The game lets you play as two characters, Ellie and Abby who both have their own reasons to fight their battles. Through their adventures, two parts of the same story is shown, and honestly making the player play as the character who gives so much sadness to Ellie (who we expect to be playing as through the majority of the game) might not be a cup of tea for everyone. But seeing it through to the end, it actually makes what happened throughout the plot very believable and I ended up being able to sympathize with both characters and their sides of the story.
    The ending was very realistic, Ellie had gone through too much trouble, to just let go and live her life, and it was hard for me to imagine her having a Happily ever after life after the last scene. This was honestly a story that could only possibly be told through a game, where the player can closely understand how the character feels, by controlling them. To me this was a game that I'll probably never forget, and strongly recommend to players that enjoy story driven games.    … Expand

    Abby was the worsr part of the game mainly due to not being likable because well she killed joel... To top it all off they force you to beat up ellie as Abby... Why? Who thought that waa a smart move,who thought playig as abby was a good idea..

    The ending waa a disgrace abby gets to have her revenge get a new best friend and to top it all off has a lead to a group who can help her.

    Meanwhile Ellie gets nothing and loses everything.

    Now onto the review.

    Gamplay is a solid 5/10

    Graphics is a 10/10

    Story was a 3/10

    Ending 2/10

    Overall a 3/10

What a huge disappointment and the hours you spend playing with abby were very boring and tedious, except for certain moments, this game is not to be the game of the year and much less nine or ten, I give it an eight.

    Sound Design: Equally as impressive as the visual fidelity of the game. The age and imperfect condition of the weapons are both seen and heard in the rusted chambers of guns, specifically the rifle.

    Cons:
    Story & Characters: The first few hours are alright. While Joel does get killed by vengeful ex-Fireflies, his character arc was over and he had served his purpose. From then on, however, the story actively pursues the objective of making the player miserable. The decent gameplay is marred entirely by being forced to play as a despicable character - Joel's remorseless killer - for half of the game and leaves the player either begging for the 10+ hour Abby section to end, or they just quit the game entirely.

    Summary: Quality graphics can only go so far when the story you're playing is trying to depress you. Every hint of happiness is crushed sooner or later, and reflects well Naughty Dog's mantra of "we don't use the word 'fun.'" Truly, if it weren't for the okay Ellie sections nearer to the start and the wonderful visuals, this game would have a rock bottom score from me.    … Expand

El game play es similar al primero, con unas leves inclusiones. Es de esperar puesto que el primer juego era bastante sólido en usa mecánicas.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
